I pay the same taxes in crisfield as my grandomther did in her nice Brooklyn md row home. I pay 1400.00 a year.And she gets her trash for free, we pay for it she also paid less for water and sewer a year. Why do we pay for city tax when crisfield offers so little for the money? The town is a ghost town, other than events really there is nothing to do, half the streets need repaving, I pay for a street cleaner who hasn't been cleaning my side of the street for almost six months.But get behind on your water bill a month and they show up to shut you off. I Really think city tax is just a paycheck for good ole boy fat cats.

Taxes are great in this area.....try Montgomery County, Myrtle Beach S.C., Michigan....any City... then good ole' red neck Wicomico County / City of Salisbury is a dream!!!!! Glad to be here!!!!
One of my homes costs $1,000/month in property tax. Stop whining.
Can't help some of these morons like paying money for overpriced homes and getting Jack sht for thier money. When u die who's inheriting the houses you worked so hard to keep.Think about that while you waste away your money to goverment thieves.
