Yeah, cause they can't get it right the first time. And the times they pick to do this repaving is absolutely, positively ridiculous. For God's sake, bring this crew out at midnight and do the job, not right in the middle of every day and tie up traffic forever. But, once again, where are we, no where but Salisbury.

This is just a continuing project by the state. The area between the 50 bridge and the railroad bridge have not been touch in some time.
They are not wasting money. The road has need repaving for several years.
One thing for sure this picture is not in Fruitland. Cant remember the last time paving or patch work was done . Fruitland has to be #1 on the shore for pot holes and rough streets. dont know where all the over tax money is going but its not on streets.
It makes it much easier on my motorcycle! Less dodging too!

They need to pave nanticoke wharf rd at roaring point campground rediculous.
How about closing that lane down completely for a few weeks not during this time of year then digging it up and make it right. That stretch of road is like driving in New Jersey after winter.

Routes 13 and 50 are state roads, all the way through town. Nanticoke Road is state. Local govt only asks.
How about paving Brown St. in Fruitland and widening it??? Entirely too much traffic with all the new houses being built, games at the ball fields and traffic from Crown. They keep saying they are going to fix it but, when????
Why are they paving over broken junk???? That manhole concrete was replaced only TWO YEARS AGO!!!! I have the pictures!

They do the same area all the time, we have the worst roads and worse crews in Maryland. They need to hire the work in this city out because ours is not adept at doing the job right.
That is what you get when the job goes to the lowest bidder. We should follow what most European countries do and their roads last 5 to 10 times longer. Their rods are based on the materials used and not the cheapest they can get, you get what you pay for!

No sense on the east side of the bridge???
The road needed repaving 6-8 months after the last repaving because nothing in the street (manhole covers, storm drains, ect.) seemed to stay level with the road. I am no street paving expert, but other towns and other roads don't have these problems.
salisbury kinda reminds me of lil baltimore with all the pawn shops and used tire dealers.
East Main St from Rt 13 to the county line, South Brown, Morris St plus several intersections will have paving started shortly and completed by November. If the state had not reduced the highway revenues to almost non existent this would have been done much sooner
I agree with 7:44 I have always noticed the grating for the storm drains and grates are below street level, that is what tears up the shocks on our vehicles and makes you feel like your neck is breaking when you drive up R t 13 North, and South 13 the worst roads and worst looking roads in Maryland, weeds 2-3 feet high, trash everywhere does a lot to attract people to move here.

brown st in fruitland looks great if youre in the front end alignment business. what an embarrassment. maybe from now on when a police officer from fruitland gets caught dui their fines go towards repairing fruitland roads
