Last night we posted a Press Release from WBI explaining the charges against Thomas Leggs. Sheriff Lewis expressed his concerns over this beautiful child now missing and shared there are more than 180 Police Officers alone searching areas in which they have solid leads on. The Sheriff went on to explain how all emergency personnel are also out in force searching high and low for Sarah Foxwell.
I can tell you while I was on location there were quite a few professional search and rescue people there from just about everywhere in the tri state area. Folks, I know you want to help but this is a team effort of true professionals trained to do just a search.
The Salisbury Dive Team was out last night searching different ponds in the area and quite frankly we provided a tip to the Sheriff's Department in which they were searching while we were there last night. I was informed there was enough evidence at the scene to bring in additional people for a better search.
Many of you have provided incredible information and that's the best we can do at this time. I'd like to clear up some confusion about who's who in this case. Many people believe the mother was raising Sarah but that just isn't the case. Sarah's Aunt was raising her along with other siblings. The Aunt was allegedly dating Tom Leggs. I cannot answer if she knew Tom's background but I'm sure we'll find that out at a later point.
Tom Leggs has quite a criminal history and I agree with many other people making comments, the laws need to change. In the mean time, while the Police are saying this is a search and rescue, others have stated it more a recovery search than anything else at this point. We'll just keep our fingers crossed she's in a place where she can survive until she is found.
While I do not encourage anyone attempting to go out and try to find Sarah, please keep your eyes open and should you come upon ANYTHING, remember, it's a crime scene any way you look at it and you could impede on an ongoing investigation. Folks, call 911 if you see anything at all.
It was a long night for me personally and I will do my best to get back to the Blog in the morning but I may be delayed as I'm going to try and get a few hours of sleep and dig right back into this in the morning.
By the way, THANK YOU! I have never received so many calls, e-mail messages and text messages on any other story we've ever produced. I did share many of them with the Sheriff and they are being looked into. Keep those prayers going and we'll be back in touch some time tomorrow morning.

i was shicked to learn the number of delaware registered child sex offenders living in salisbury, seem's this area has become a magent for every kind of lowlife.
Parents please review this website (http://www.familywatchdog.us/) type in zip code and arm yourselves. our children rely on us to protect them from these animals. whether it be a professional ie, doctor, teacher, or a relative. We must all be vigilant in watching over the little ones! God protect and help Sarah! Oh and just for the record, if it was ever my child harmed by one of these animals, I would be the one going on trial. but then all i would need would be one other juror/parent to see the law is a joke and a parent is the last line of defense!

When I was a single parent and I started dating-the VERY FIRST thing I did was check the Sex Offender Registry and the Case Search before I went out with anyone. There is no way she could not have known-apparently he has quite a history

I can't express enough that all parents need to monthly check the familywatchdog site. I found an offender in my neighborhood 5 years ago and passed out flyers to all residents including his. I told him that I knew who he was and I was watching him. Don't mess with my kids!
Aunt breaks it off with suspect weeks ago, suspect vows revenge. Child pays price for worthless adults they have been dealt to. Sad, but all to common in this morally bankrupt society. Never trust anyone with your children. You are responsible for them.
First of all, when parents get divorced, this does not give the parent's the right to turn their kids life upside down by bringing stranger's into their child's living environment.
Too many parents throw their kids into their own relationships only for them to end either after the kids have bonded with the parent's date or after something along these lines have happened.
Mothers~you make the choice to have children, take the responsibility to protect them and put them first.
This is such a selfish society that has lost reality of what priorities are. Always all about me.

This is so sad, I can't stop thinking about it. The more time passes, the more likely it is the results will be grim. I agree, some definite torture tactics need to be enacted immediately, but for whatever reason this animal has rights too and doesn't have to say a f*cking word. I read on the other comments where he won't give up where she is. So, so heartbreaking. And yeah, all the gossiping needs to stop. Her mother, aunt, none of that matters right this second. Frankly they all sound like they came straight out of the trailer park, but still Sarah does not deserve this. Atleast the aunt did break it off with this creep. May I encourage everyone in the Cannon Drive, Bennett Road, Zion Road and even Ocean City Road area to check their back yards and any unlocked buildings on their property. Just take a walk around your property and check for any unusual footprints in the snow, etc.

BOC got it wrong again. Mike Lewis said they are presently searching in 25 areas throughout the county. WBOC's Jimmy Hoppa and Steve Dorsey reported him as saying 25 bodies of water. Idiots can't get anything straight.
Thank God we have Joe for our news, because watching WBOC last night at 11pm just made me sick. Very unprofessional and the line of questioning towards Sherriff Lewis was terrible. A 5 year old could have done better. And the remote location reports by the other WBOC reporters was the worst coverage of anything I've ever seen in my life.

I have a group of mothers that would like to spend just about 10 minutes with this degenerate. If the law does not want to protect our children from these low lifes, let's go back to the wild west way of enforcing the law ~ a good ole gathering of upstanding citizens to rid the town of the low lifes. The time is way overdue to change the rules on how these criminals are dealt with. I pray for the safe return of this child to her mother, BUT I do believe mom needs to have some serious counseling on her choices. As a mother myself you must think first about your children and know that every single decision you make is going to effect them - do not bring anyone into your home, your child's safe haven, without checking that person out. I only have this to say - WBOC is doing the best they can - if you think about it - how many other stories like this have they done - its heartbreaking & the main purpose it to find Sarah & you people want to complain about the questions that are getting asked - at least we have people out there that are willing to try & get answers. to friends of the aunt...when you are entrusted with the care of children, yours or not, you must make sure you KNOW who you are dating. You can't just bring any thing in off the street. So you should check up on them when they are around your children! For God Sake's people. When did people get so fricking stupid?
WBOC didn't handle it well because they don't do any investigative reporting. They will tell you that they "just read the press releases." That is why they fumbled so badly. There wasn't someone else writing the story and putting it on a teleprompter. Regardless, they did get the word out so the public was aware anyway. I pray for the little girl.

I am a single mother and I always check the sites to see the local child sex offenders. I saw his picture a long time ago. You would have thought the family of this worthless scum would have informed the lady. If that was my brother and I had children like his sister does, I would want to let the lady he was dating know his history. It's all about the children, not your needs as a woman!!
Joe, you really need to curb some of these comments on here. Everyone is upset and has their own version of how to make him talk or exact punishment on him.
