Report: Joe Biden Promises Wall Street Donors the Status Quo in Private Calls

Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden is promising Wall Street donors the economic status quo that they became used to before President Donald Trump’s administration, according to a report.

An investment banker on Wall Street told the Washington Post that in private calls with financial executives two months ago, Biden’s campaign assured them that talk of populist reforms on the campaign trail was nothing more than talking points.

The Post reports:

When Joe Biden released economic recommendations two months ago, they included a few ideas that worried some powerful bankers: allowing banking at the post office, for example, and having the Federal Reserve guarantee all Americans a bank account. [Emphasis added]

But in private calls with Wall Street leaders, the Biden campaign made it clear those proposals would not be centralto Biden’s agenda. [Emphasis added]

“They basically said, ‘Listen, this is just an exercise to keep the Warren people happy, and don’t read too much into it,’” said one investment banker, referring to liberal supporters of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.). The banker, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe private talks, said that message was conveyed on multiple calls. [Emphasis added]

In a statement to the Post, Biden’s campaign downplayed the influence of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) — left populists on trade and economic policy — on the former vice president’s agenda.

Should you get the flu shot? What to know about the 2020-21 flu season

With the first day of fall just around the corner, medical professionals are issuing a serious warning as this year’s flu season arrives amid the coronavirus pandemic: Get your flu shot.

“The flu shot is incredibly important because it reduces your risk of contracting the flu,” Michelle Lin, an emergency room doctor, and professor of emergency medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, told Fox News. “It also reduces your risk for complications and passing it to other people, especially pregnant women, young children and the elderly,” who are more susceptible to the virus, she added.

This year, flu season will coincide with the ongoing COVID-19 crisis in the U.S. and abroad, meaning it's doubly as important to get vaccinated.

"It's particularly important to get vaccinated this year because of the ongoing COVID pandemic: We want people to stay as healthy as possible," said Lin. "Since people are trying to stay home and out of the doctor's office [and/or] ER, there has been a push to make the vaccine available widely earlier."

Queen Pelosi's Aircraft

This is QUEEN PELOSI'S NEW JET!!! And the Democrats talk about Melania's dresses???

Queen Pelosi wasn't happy with the small USAF C-20B jet, Gulfstream III, that comes with the Speaker's job ... OH NO! Queen Pelosi was aggravated that this little jet had to stop to refuel, so she ordered a Big Fat, 200-seat, USAF C-32, Boeing 757 jet that could get her back to California without stopping! I understand that a former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, flew commerical most of the time.

Sports Authority founder sounds off on LeBron James, mixing sports with politics

The founder of Sports Authority says he’s dismayed by athletes who are mixing politics with sports — and said he would demote their products if he were still in charge.
“If I had Sports Authority, I’d take the LeBron [Nike] shoes and put them on the back shelf,” said Jack Smith, who resigned from the company in 1998.
“I think it was stupid what the Mets and Marlins did,” he added. “I don’t know what they were trying to prove,” Smith said.
Smith, who started Sports Authority in 1987 with backing from former Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney, made the comments in an interview about a Zucker Lewis Media Group documentary in the works about his life.
James recently led the charge of high-profile athletes sharing their outrage online over the death of George Floyd, whose May death at the hands of police kicked off nationwide protests.

Family fears breech of George Floyd's medical records could assassinate his character!

Multiple employees at the hospital where George Floyd was pronounced dead inappropriately accessed his medical records, according to the family’s lawyer.

Attorney Antonio Romanucci told KARE 11 the Minneapolis hospital, Hennepin Healthcare, sent a letter to the family alerting them of the data breaches, which occurred over the last 30 days.

Romanucci said the family is considering suing the hospital, fearing the breaches could have played into an attempt to assassinate Floyd’s character after he was killed by a Minneapolis police officer.

“They feel it’s a continued assassination of George Floyd, his character,” Romanucci said. “It’s a non-stop issue. And they were very upset, very disturbed, disappointed that even in death, that George Floyd’s character is being maligned by people that didn’t have any business looking at his private medical record.”

Lara Trump saves the puppy rescued from Syria by US airman

Harley is saved!

On the brink of being shipped back to the Middle East, Harley — a puppy rescued from the battlegrounds of Syria — will now stay in the United States and be reunited with the Air Force combat vet who rescued her.

Lara Trump personally interceded on Harley’s behalf to help iron out the paperwork snafu that was keeping the dog in limbo at JFK Airport and save her from being sent back to almost certain death.

“Honestly, words can’t describe how I feel right now,” said Amjad Kirrish, who has been waiting to be reunited with the dog he raised from a puppy while deployed earlier this year in Syria.

The New Puritans Are On The Prowl

In the spring of 1692, Giles Corey was 80 years old when his wife was accused of witchcraft.

The entire town was in such a frenzy that even Giles started to believe that his wife might be a witch.

Soon after, another person in the town was accused of witchcraft. Then another. And another. And another.

It wasn’t until Giles Corey himself was accused of being a wizard that he realized the whole thing was a scam.

But it didn’t matter. The Puritan preachers in this small New England town (Salem, Massachusetts) took every accusation seriously.

They felt it was their duty to protect the townsfolk from the systemic witchcraft that was so pervasive in Salem. So everyone who was accused of witchcraft was quickly punished.

That included Giles Gorey, who, at the age of 81, was tortured for three days in September of 1692, in an attempt to extract a plea.

He had been accused, therefore he must be guilty. And Corey was laid in a field with boards placed on top of him, and large rocks piled on top of the boards to slowly crush him to death.

Rumor has it the only words he spoke during the torture were, “More weight.”

US Air Force tests ‘unstoppable’ robot dogs to defend bases

The US Air Force has drafted creepy, faceless robot dogs to prepare for combat.

The futuristic four-legged friends were deployed to Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada last week as part of a security exercise to scout for threats before soldiers are exposed to them, military officials said.

For one exercise, the pooches kept watch on the base as the forces rearmed and refueled on the ground.

“The dogs give us visuals of the area, all while keeping our defenders closer to the aircraft,” Sgt. Lee Boston said in a statement.

The robot hounds are just one part of the Advanced Battle Management System, which uses artificial intelligence to detect and counter threats.

Woodward Book Exposes General James Mattis' Plot To Overthrow The US Government...

According to a pre-release excerpt from the Washington Post Bob Woodward writes about a discussion between General James Mattis and Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats about a plot to overthrow the elected government of the United States.

[...] “Mattis quietly went to Washington National Cathedral to pray about his concern for the nation’s fate under Trump’s command and, according to Woodward, told Coats, “There may come a time when we have to take collective action” since Trump is “dangerous. He’s unfit.” (read more)

What do you call a conversation between the Defense Secretary and the head of the U.S. intelligence apparatus where they are talking about taking “collective action” to remove an elected President? That’s called sedition…. A seditious conspiracy.

As alarming as that sounds on its face, this actually aligns with our own previous research into key military leadership, the joint chiefs, and their corrupt intent to overthrow the elected government. Readers will remember when we noted this very issue after Lt. Col Alexander Vindman compromised his position yet was not removed by his command structure within the Pentagon.

Flight canceled after feud about toddler not wearing face mask

A Canadian flight was canceled after a feud with a family over their young children not wearing masks on a flight.

Safwan Choudhry said crew members approached the family on the WestJet flight Tuesday from Calgary to Toronto about putting masks on their 3-year-old and 19-month-old daughters, CBC News reported.

“It started with my toddler and once we got a mask on her, they turned to my 19-month-old infant and said ‘every person on the plane has to wear a mask or the plane can’t take off,'” Choudhry said.

Choudhry said they complied and put the mask on their 3-year-old and tried to get one on their youngest daughter, though the rules only require passengers above the age of two to wear one.

“We were surprised to learn our 19-month-old daughter needed to be wearing a mask,” he said.
“Of course, being desperate to get home, we — despite there not being such a policy — opted to comply until she was crying hysterically, with the crew watching over us, until she threw up, at which point they told us you all need to get off the plane.”

The Evidence Keeps Piling Up: Lockdowns Don't Work

The toll lockdowns have taken on human life and human rights has been incalculable. Increases in child abuse, suicide, and even heart attacks, all appear to be a feature of mandatory stay-at-home orders issued by politicians who now rule by decree without any legislative or democratic due process.

And then, of course, there is the economic toll on employment, and which will feed negative impacts into the longer term. The economic burden has fallen the most on the young, and on working class families where earners are least able to work from home.

These measures also have made a mockery of basic human rights while essentially expropriating private property. Mom-and-pop business owners were told to shut their doors indefinitely, or face arrest. The unemployed were told it was now illegal to work for a living if their careers were deemed “non-essential.” Police officers have beaten citizens for not “social distancing” while mothers are manhandled by cops for attempting to use playground equipment.

This was all done because some politicians and bureaucrats—who were in no danger of losing their large paychecks—decided it was a great idea to carry out a bizarre and risky experiment: forcing large swaths of the population to stay at home in the name of preventing the spread of disease.
An Experiment Concocted by Governments

Indeed, politicians have long dreamed of forcing people into isolation en masse. But it was most recently revived during the George W. Bush administration. As The New York Times reported in April,

Fourteen years ago, two federal government doctors, Richard Hatchett and Carter Mecher, met with a colleague at a burger joint in suburban Washington for a final review of a proposal they knew would be treated like a piñata: telling Americans to stay home from work and school the next time the country was hit by a deadly pandemic.

Drs. Hatchett and Mecher were proposing … that Americans in some places might have to turn back to an approach, self-isolation, first widely employed in the Middle Ages.

How that idea — born out of a request by President George W. Bush to ensure the nation was better prepared for the next contagious disease outbreak — became the heart of the national playbook for responding to a pandemic is one of the untold stories of the coronavirus crisis.

The concept of social distancing is now intimately familiar to almost everyone. But as it first made its way through the federal bureaucracy in 2006 and 2007, it was viewed as impractical, unnecessary and politically infeasible.

OCPD Chief On Pop-Up Vehicle Rally: ‘There Will Be Major Obstructions To Traffic And It Will Be Uncomfortable’

OCEAN CITY — If Ocean City experiences the same raucous behavior and lawlessness typically seen during the unsanctioned pop-up car rally later this month, it won’t be because the town was unprepared.

The motorized vehicle special event task force reconvened on Thursday for the last time before the pop-up car rally expected during the last weekend in September, followed by the Endless Summer Cruisin event in October, and it appears on the surface the town has all of its ducks in a row. The task force was formed a few years back to begin exploring strategies to address some of the lawlessness and abject bad behavior associated with some of the participants.

On Thursday, Ocean City Police Department (OCPD) Chief Ross Buzzuro, Mayor Rick Meehan and task force members went through an itemized checklist of the initiatives planned for the pop-up car rally formerly referred to as H2Oi and the tamer fall cruising event. The checklist is thorough and appears to have left no stone unturned, from enhanced special enforcement zone legislation to a stronger, and potentially costlier towing ordinance to even more police officers from allied law enforcement agencies outside the area.

A few years back, the town of Ocean City and its representatives in Annapolis were successful in getting state legislation passed that authorizes the creation of a special event zone complete with reduced speed limits and stronger fines, among other things. The first iteration of the special event zone bill was successful somewhat in curbing the illicit behavior associated with the motorized vehicle special events, but lacked real teeth to provide a deterrent for some of the unruliest participants.

Resort Toughens Towing Ordinance For Problem Event

OCEAN CITY — Resort officials this week approved an overhaul of the town’s towing ordinance in advance of planned or expected motorized special events later this month.

During last week’s motorized special events zone task force meeting, town officials alluded to some upcoming enhancements in Ocean City’s towing ordinance. Those changes were formalized and approved during Tuesday’s Mayor and Council meeting in the form of two emergency ordinance amendments and a resolution setting the maximum tow fees.

Among the new initiatives for this year’s motorized special events, including the anticipated pop-up car rally in late September formally referred to as H2Oi and the fall cruising event in October, is enhancing and clarifying the town’s existing towing ordinance. In anticipation of the pop-up car rally, task force members said last week the enhanced towing ordinance will allow law enforcement to remove vehicles from the roadways for a wide variety of reasons and impound them.

Another significant change in the amended ordinances approved by the council on Tuesday is a provision outlining the reclamation procedures. For example, if a vehicle is towed and impounded, it will have to be towed back out at the expense of the registered owner, essentially doubling the price. City Solicitor Heather Stansbury explained the change in the ordinance on Tuesday.

Trump renews Cuomo feud: 'One of the WORST governors'

President Trump on Thursday slammed New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo as “one of the worst governors” in the country, criticizing his handling of the coronavirus pandemic in the Empire State.

The president's tweet was in response to former House Speaker Newt Gingrich's tweet, where he stated "shootings in New York City are up 166% over last year" and "Cuomo wants 4,000 police assigned to checking restaurants for covid enforcement."

“Is he deranged or so arrogant no one can talk sense into him?” Gingrich tweeted.

The president replied: “One of the WORST governors in the USA. Caused 11,000 deaths in nursing homes due to his bad moves and incompetence.”

Hunter Biden’s Chinese Firm Helped Buy Out Michigan Automotive Company to Create Jobs Overseas

Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden delivered a speech in Macomb County, Michigan, on Wednesday, slamming the practice of outsourcing. Unmentioned was his son Hunter’s ties to a Chinese government acquisition of a Michigan company that is delivering jobs to China, Mexico, Europe, and South America.

“Make it in Michigan, make it in America, invest in our communities and the workers in places like Warren … Getting a good job in 2020 shouldn’t be a lottery … it should be an expectation,” Biden told American auto workers.

Biden’s pitch, though, is muffled by his son Hunter’s ties to the Chinese government.

First detailed in Peter Schweizer’s, president of the Government Accountability Institute and senior contributor at Breitbart News, 2018New York Times bestseller Secret Empires, Hunter Biden sat on the board of directors of Bohai Harvest RST (BHR), a private equity firm he founded that was funded with $1.5 billion from the Chinese government via the Bank of China.

The dealings of BHR, from which Hunter Biden stepped down in October 2019, were most recently noted in Schweizer’s Profiles in Corruption.

Specifically, Hunter Biden sat on the board of BHR while the firm jointly acquired Michigan-based Henniges Automotive with the Chinese government-owned Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) for $600 million.

Before the Obama-Biden administration approved the acquisition, AVIC had been sanctioned five times since 1993 for military technology violations, according to a report by Seamus Bruner and John Solomon. In 2014, Obama’s Commerce Department was considering sanctions for an AVIC subsidiary.

Trump challenges Woodward for sitting on coronavirus quotes

President Trump on Thursday challenged Bob Woodward, questioning why the veteran journalist didn't report his comments about the novel coronavirus sooner if he thought they were “so bad or dangerous,” while claiming he was trying to keep Americans “calm.”

“Bob Woodward had my quotes for many months,” Trump tweeted Thursday. “If he thought they were so bad or dangerous, why didn’t he immediately report them in an effort to save lives?

“Didn’t he have an obligation to do so?” the president continued. “No, because he knew they were good and proper answers.”

He added: “Calm, no panic!”

Former US Attorney Joe DiGenova on Last Week’s Atlantic Hit Piece: “My Guess is that Two of the Anonymous Sources are Eric Ciaramella and [Lieutenant] Colonel Alexander Vindman of Impeachment Fame”

The humorless Laurel and Hardy of the Deep State are at it again. Their efforts to slander and besmirch the President are not over.

Former US Attorney Joe DiGenova was on Mornings at the Mall on Monday, Labor Day and he shared this at the :45 second mark about last week’s Atlantic hit piece suggesting the President does not like the US military:

In fact the story is not true and you can tell for several reasons. First, the author is by Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor of the Atlantic, a fallen apart magazine that is now published only online. Four anonymous sources, so my guess is that two of the anonymous sources are Eric Ciaramella and [Lieutenant] Colonel Alexander Vindman of impeachment fame. Now does anybody think if this story were actually true that it would come out sooner than it has?

Later at the 6:30 mark DiGenova says:

Injured Iraq vet frustrated his image is being used in anti-Trump memes

An Army veteran said he has become frustrated that his image is being used in anti-Trump memes about wounded soldiers.

Henline, who was wounded in an IED blast, told Fox News he feels like a prop when he sees his image attached to the rhetoric.

“I’m just so irritated that they put my image up there because now it looks like the president called me a loser,” said Henline, who supports Trump.

Investigation Launched Into String of Soldier Deaths at Fort Hood

Congress will launch an investigation into sexual assault, disappearances and deaths at Fort Hood after 28 soldiers stationed at the U.S. Army base in Texas died this year, two subcommittee leaders announced Tuesday.

Democratic Reps. Stephen Lynch of Massachusetts and Jackie Speier of California sent a letter to Army Secretary Ryan D. McCarthy requesting documents and information on the deaths. Lynch chairs the Committee on Oversight and Reform’s Subcommittee on National Security, and Speier leads the Committee on Armed Services’ Subcommittee on Military Personnel.

According to the letter, the subcommittees will jointly investigate if recent deaths “may be symptomatic of underlying leadership, discipline, and morale deficiencies throughout the chain-of-command.”

The letter said that according to Army data there were an average of 129 felonies committed annually at Fort Hood between 2014 and 2019, including cases of homicide, sexual assault, kidnapping, robbery and aggravated assault.

3 members of Tennessee Air National Guard killed in plane crash

Tennessee Air National Guard officials said they are shocked and saddened by the loss of Lt. Col. Shelli Huether, Capt. Jessica Wright and Senior Master Sgt. Scott Bumpus.

The three national guardsmen died in a plane crash Tuesday afternoon in McMinnville. They were members of the Tennessee Air National Guard’s 118th Wing.

On Wednesday Col. Todd Wiles, commander of the 118th Wing, said in a press release, "Words can not begin to explain the shock, grief, pain and dismay we feel having lost three remarkable members of our Guard family. All three were dedicated to the service of our nation. Their families are in our hearts and our prayers.”
Col. Wiles says all three participated in missions that saved lives in Tennessee. Their squadron took aerial photos during the Gatlinburg Wildfires and the March 2020 Middle Tennessee tornadoes to help with rescues and intelligence long before boots could be on the ground.

House Republicans slam Nadler for calling Antifa a myth; demand hearing on left-wing violence

Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee Tuesday slammed committee chairman Jerrod Nadler, New York Democrat, for refusing to acknowledge “violent left-wing extremists.”

Led by the committee’s ranking Republican, Jim Jordan of Ohio, the group said Mr. Nadler has trivialized the violence and rioting that is “destroying Democrat-run American cities.”

“You have wasted the first 20 months of your chairmanship on fruitless partisan investigations in furtherance of your obsession with attacking President Trump,” the letter stated. “We urge you not to waste any more time. The jurisdiction of the Judiciary Committee provides you with a unique authority to condemn the violence and disorder in Democrat-run cities.”
