Looks Like Trump Was Right About The Coronavirus Fatality Rate
Two new studies suggest that President Trump was right in early March when he guessed the fatality rate for coronavirus is under 1 percent.
In early March, President Donald Trump was lambasted for saying on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show that he had a hunch the coronavirus fatality rate, which the World Health Organization pegged then at 3 to 4 percent, was in fact much lower, under 1 percent. Many commentators, myself included pointed out that the beginning of a pandemic medical crisis was not the time to be floating hunches. But, as we always knew was possible, it looks now like the president might well have been right.
New data from random antibody tests conducted in New York State suggest that as many as 2.7 million people statewide have had the coronavirus. That along with the just over 15,000 deaths that have occurred leads to a fatality rate for the virus of .5 percent according to Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
Here is what Trump said on March 4:
“Well, I think the 3.4 percent is really a false number. Now, and this is just my hunch, and — but based on a lot of conversations with a lot of people that do this. Because a lot people will have this and it’s very mild. They’ll get better very rapidly. They don’t even see a doctor. They don’t even call a doctor.”
He went on to say:
“I think that that number (the WHO number) is very high. I think the number, personally, I would say the number is way under 1 percent.”
Democrats and media pundits blasted Trump for spreading “misinformation.”

FAKE NEWS! NYT Article on Bush Not Supporting Trump is Bogus
A spokesman for former President George W. Bush called an explosive New York Timesarticle that said the Texas Republican would not be voting for President Trump false and inaccurate, according to a report Monday.
“This is completely made up,” Freddy Ford, a spokesman for Bush, told the Texas Tribune.“He is retired from presidential politics and has not indicated how he will vote.”
The paper pointed out that there appears to be no love lost between the Bush family and Trump. Trump defeated Jeb Bush, the former Florida governor, in the 2016 primary and former President George H.W. Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush said they did not vote from Trump in the general election.
The Times on Saturday—citing “people familiar” with Bush’s thinking, reported that he would not support Trump’s re-election. The report came as divisions within the Republican Party began to emerge.

Hospitals Got Bailouts and Furloughed Thousands While Paying C.E.O.s Millions
Dozens of top recipients of government aid have laid off, furloughed or cut the pay of tens of thousands of employees.
HCA Healthcare is one of the world’s wealthiest hospital chains. It earned more than $7 billion in profits over the past two years. It is worth $36 billion. It paid its chief executive $26 million in 2019.
But as the coronavirus swept the country, employees at HCA repeatedly complained that the company was not providing adequate protective gear to nurses, medical technicians and cleaning staff. Last month, HCA executives warned that they would lay off thousands of nurses if they didn’t agree to wage freezes and other concessions.
A few weeks earlier, HCA had received about $1 billion in bailout funds from the federal government, part of an effort to stabilize hospitals during the pandemic.
HCA is among a long list of deep-pocketed health care companies that have received billions of dollars in taxpayer funds but are laying off or cutting the pay of tens of thousands of doctors, nurses and lower-paid workers. Many have continued to pay their top executives millions, although some executives have taken modest pay cuts.

Harris Applauds Research Grant to Salisbury University
WASHINGTON, DC: Rep. Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01) announced the award of a $360,624 federal research grant to Salisbury University from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Engineering. According to HHS, Academic Research Enhancement Awards support biomedical research projects conducted by faculty in academic institutions that have not been major recipients of National Institutes of Health (NIH) research awards. These grants are intended to create a research opportunity for scientists and institutions otherwise unlikely to participate extensively in NIH programs to support the Nation’s biomedical research effort. Specifically, Salisbury University faculty will utilize the award for designing intelligent iron-based MRI contrast agents.
Congressman Harris made the following statement:
“As a physician and member of the House Appropriations Committee, I am pleased to announce the award of this grant to Salisbury University. These federal dollars will go a long way in front line research that will lead to better, more efficient outcomes in medical imaging, and I am proud to support NIH funding that supports grants like this.”

Tammy Bruce: Why the GOP establishment turning against Trump confirms what we suspected
Fox Nation host Tammy Bruce said on Monday that it does not surprise her that the GOP establishment is not supporting President Trump because they are siding with ideas of globalism instead of “Americanism.”
“This is, of course, the swamp,” the "Get Tammy Bruce" host told “Fox & Friends.”
“This is about Americanism versus globalism. What is best for the American family versus what is best for the political ruling elite class,” Bruce said, arguing that the binary choice of Democrat or Republican has dissolved.
Bruce argued that Trump does not care about what the GOP establishment thinks and rather listens to the American people.

Chicago sees its deadliest day in 60 years with 18 murders in 24 hours: report
Bloody Chicago recorded 18 murders on May 31, making it the city’s deadliest day in 60 years.
The dubious milestone was reached on a day Chicago was roiled by another round of protests and looting following the Memorial Day death of George Floyd in police custody in Minneapolis.
The 18 deaths tallied by the University of Chicago Crime Lab made May 31, 2020 the single-most violent day in six decades, the Chicago Sun-Times reported Monday. The Crime Lab numbers go back only to 1961.
On May 29 and May 30, there were seven murders. In a city with an international reputation for crime, the 25 murders on those three days made for the most violent weekend in Chicago’s modern history, according to the paper.

COVID-19 Has Properties That Have Never Been Found In Nature Before
Norwegian and British vaccine scientists have published unequivocal evidence that SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic, is man-made.
The authors state two conclusions: (1) the mutations that would normally be seen in the course of animal to human transmission have not occurred in SARS-CoV-2, indicating that it was fully “pre-adapted” for human infection and (2) SARS-CoV-2 has insertions in its protein sequence that have never been detected in nature and contribute to its infectivity and pathogenicity.
That is, SARS-CoV-2 has a receptor binding domain specifically designed for the human angiotensin converting enzyme-2 receptor (ACE2) found in lungs, kidneys, intestines and blood vessels.
In addition, SARS-CoV-2 has a furin polybasic cleavage site not found in any closely-related bat coronaviruses as well as other artificially inserted charged amino acids that enhance the virus’ ability to bind to and enter human cells by forming “salt bridges” between the virus and the cell surface.
Those modifications are key to understanding the unique transmissibility and potency of SARS-CoV-2.
The authors explain that the COVID-19 pandemic is revealing neurological, haematological and immunological pathogenicity, which cannot be explained by infectivity via the ACE2 receptor alone.

“The Man Mentally Can’t Function – You Wouldn’t Hire Him to Run Your Store” – Rudy Giuliani Unloads on Joe Biden and His Handlers (VIDEO)
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futuresthis morning to discuss the ongoing protests and rioting in New York City and the nation.
During their conversation Maria asked Mayor Giuliani about Joe Biden’s campaign for president.
Rudy let loose on what is obvious to everyone – Joe Biden can’t run a grocery store let alone the country today.
Rudy Giuliani: When he said that Trump is oblivious, that’s like looking in the mirror isn’t it? That’s projection. Even with his deteriorated mental state he can still project. I mean the guy is oblivious. If you can’t see that this man is sick then there’s something wrong with you. And, we got a lot of smart people on the other side and a lot of smart people in his family. And, they’re running him. It’s so cynical and it shows so much of a disrespect for the United States of America that you could try to put a man in that mental condition in the White House. It’s frightening how we’ve lost any sense of caring about the country. The man mentally can’t function. You can’t hire him. You wouldn’t hire him to run your store. I wouldn’t hire him to run a store. He’d get it all screwed up.
Of course, Rudy it right and everyone knows it. The more Americans see Joe Biden the more horrific is the prospect that this man could run the country. Joe’s policies are bad enough but his mental state is a non-starter.

The W.H.O. Just Gave Us Another Great Reason to End the Coronavirus Lockdowns RIGHT NOW
It seems like we’ve been getting a lot of mixed signals during the course of the coronavirus pandemic, so, honestly, I’m not sure what to believe, but the World Health Organization (WHO) is now saying that asymptomatic people with the coronavirus are not driving the spread of the virus.
The CDC currently believes that 35% of all coronavirus infections are asymptomatic.
Researchers have previously argued that containing the virus would be extraordinarily difficult because of asymptomatic infections, but WHO officials no longer believe it’s the main way the disease spreads.
“From the data we have, it still seems to be rare that an asymptomatic person actually transmits onward to a secondary individual,” said Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, the head of the emerging diseases and zoonosis unit at the WHO.
Van Kerkhove believes that governments should focus on the detection and isolation of infected people, and those they came in contact with.
“We have a number of reports from countries who are doing very detailed contact tracing,” she added. “They’re following asymptomatic cases. They’re following contacts. And they’re not finding secondary transmission onward. It’s very rare.”
Even CNBC acknowledges that if asymptomatic spread “proves to not be a main driver of coronavirus transmission, the policy implications could be tremendous.”
Asymptomatic transmission of the coronavirus was previously used to justify social distancing.
“These findings also suggest that to control the pandemic, it might not be enough for only persons with symptoms to limit their contact with others because persons without symptoms might transmit infection,” a CDC study claimed back in April.

Brooklyn shooting: 7 shot within 10 minutes in separate incidents
Seven people were wounded in three shootings just 10 minutes apart Monday night in different Brooklyn neighborhoods, police said.
The gunplay started at about 10:40 p.m. on Bainbridge Street near Malcolm X Boulevard in Bedford-Stuyvesant, cops said.
Two men, ages 27 and 34, were each struck in the leg, authorities said. They were taken to Kings County Hospital and were expected to survive.
Less than five minutes later, a 35-year-old man was shot on Flatbush Avenue near Ditmas Avenue in Flatbush, police said.
He, too, was taken to Kings County Hospital and is expected to survive.
Finally, at about 10:50 p.m., four people — a woman and three men — were caught in a hail of gunfire on Bristol Street near Newport Street in Brownsville, authorities and witnesses said.
The woman, 23, is in critical condition and the men — ages 17, 35, and 50 — all suffered non-life threatening injuries, cops said.

Ex-acting DNI Grenell calls politics in 2020 'a fight between Washington and the rest of America'
Former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell told "Tucker Carlson Tonight" Monday that his time in the Trump administration has shown him that the great political struggle is no longer between Republicans and Democrats, but between the District of Columbia and the rest of the U.S.
In his first TV interview since leaving the administration, Grenell explained a tweet he posted Saturday in response to criticism of Trump from former Defense Secretary James Mattis.
"The fact of the matter is," Grenell said, "we have a real problem in Washington, D.C., because it’s a system that it no longer is Republicans and Democrats pushing against each other to create good policy. It’s a fight between Washington and the rest of America."

Minneapolis Manufacturing Company Burned in George Floyd Riots Will Leave City, Owner Says
This is just the beginning.
The owner of a Minneapolis-based manufacturing plant decided to move his company after rioters burned his business down.
Kris Wyrobek, president and owner of 7-Sigma said he can’t trust public officials who allowed his plant to burn during the George Floyd riots.
“They don’t care about my business. They didn’t protect our people. We were all on our own,” Wyrobek told the Star Tribune. “The fire engine was just sitting there, but they wouldn’t do anything. That’s the frustrating thing to us.”

Judge Bars Minneapolis Police From Using Controversial Chokeholds, Neck Restraints
Following a city council vote to abolish the Minneapolis Police Department, a Hennepin County judge late Monday approved a proposed court order requiring the Minneapolis Police Department to stop using all neck restraints and chokeholds when dealing with suspected criminals.
Via the ruling, the judge has officially adopted a plan assembled by Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and the Minnesota Department of Human Rights. Aside from barring certain techniques, the ruling ratchets up the penalties officers might face if they ignore incidents of misconduct. Hennepin County Judge Karen Janisch’s order requires officers to immediately notify a supervisor of any incidents of police brutality.
If they see another officer using inappropriate force against a suspect, officers in the city will be required to physically intervene, or otherwise "shall be subject to discipline to the same severity as if they themselves engaged in the prohibited use of force."

George Floyd's family lawyer sends 'urgent' request for UN to help
The lawyer representing the family of George Floyd has urged the United Nations to intervene in the investigation of the black man's police-related slaying.
Attorney Ben Crump has written an 'urgent appeal', asking the UN to encourage the US to press federal criminal charges against four Minneapolis officers involved when Floyd, 46, was killed while being arrested for allegedly trying to pass a fake $20 bill on Memorial Day.
The slaying which led to the firings and arrests of the cops has sparked protests across the US against police brutality.
Crump says he wants the UN to make recommendations for systematic police reforms, including a de-escalating techniques, independent prosecutors and autopsies for every extrajudicial police killing, 'in an effort to stop further human rights abuses.'

The Final Nail In Dr. Fauci’s Coffin
(Breitbart) – Mea culpa: I spent a lot of time on these here digital pages defending Dr. Anthony Fauci. Brother, was I wrong. Fauci is a stone-cold liar. And if he’s not a stone-cold liar, his only defense is that he is a fraud. Either way, shame on him … and me.
For months Fauci has been everywhere, all over TV, urging Americans to lock themselves down, to abandon their jobs, their sick and dying family members, the small businesses they spent their lives getting off the ground; he urged us to drive our economy into the dirt, pull children who desperately need structure out of school, forgo once-in-a-lifetime graduations and graduation parties, cancel weddings and vacations…
Fauci’s message was clear, militant, terrifying, and relentless: If you don’t do these things, if you don’t sacrifice these things, if you don’t give up your liberty and prosperity, you are no better than a serial killer. The coronavirus is a unique and deadly killer, a particularly infectious and fatal disease unlike anything we’ve seen in more than a century.

WHO says coronavirus pandemic far from over as world sees largest daily increase
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the World Health Organization’s director, said on Monday that there should be no sense of complacency amid the coronavirus outbreak and supported his claim by pointing out that there were 136,000 new cases on Sunday, the most so far.
“More than six months into the pandemic, this is not the time for any country to take its foot off the pedal,” he said, according to Reuters. The report pointed out that most of the cases were from South Asia and the Americas.
Health officials in the U.S. fear an increase in cases due to the recent unrest over the death of George Floyd in police custody. It was recently revealed that a protester in Kansas was diagnosed with the coronavirus shortly after taking part in a protest in the city of Lawrence. Health officials there warned those protesters who may have been at the rally to self-monitor. The person was not wearing a mask.
The WHO also revealed on Monday that the spread of coronavirus by those without symptoms appears to be rare.

BREAKING: Trump ESCALATES War – It’s Happening
(Breitbart) – President Donald Trump’s campaign is reportedly planning to resume its iconic rallies after a months-long halt due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to Politico’s report, upcoming rallies are in the works. The campaign hopes to resume the rallies as early as this month, but details and safety precautions moving forward are still under review.
“Aides are factoring in an array of factors in determining where the rallies will be held, including the number of coronavirus cases that exist locally,” the outlet reported:
WHILE TRUMP IS LIKELY TO FACE BLOWBACK FOR RESUMING IN-PERSON EVENTS WHILE THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC IS STILL RAVAGING THE COUNTRY, HIS ADVISERS CONTEND THAT THE RECENT MASSIVE PROTESTS IN METROPOLITAN AREAS WILL MAKE IT HARDER FOR LIBERALS TO CRITICIZE HIM.
“Americans are ready to get back to action and so is President Trump. The great American comeback is real and the rallies will be tremendous,” Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale said in a statement, according to Politico.

A Viewer Writes: PRMC & LIFESTAR AMBULANCE
Peninsula Regional Medical Center higher ups have learned that Lifestar Ambulance’s electronic medical system has been hacked. THOUSANDS of PRMC patients have had their records (such as very personal medical records and billing information were compromised. All transports out of PRMC utilize LifeStar (except helicopter transports).
Peninsula Regional Medical Center, and Chief Quality Control Officer Dr. Snyder have opted to not alert the public. They won’t even mail or call those who have been compromised.
LifeStar has yet to gain control of their systems. Everything is having to be documented on paperwork PRMC has a contract with LifeStar, and they haven’t even considered using a third party, at least until they get control of their systems.
If you’ve used LifeStar, and needed them for transportation, look very closely to your bank information, and insurance claims.

Is that you Chris? (Let's hope so!) Man is caught NAKED in background of CNN anchor's wife Cristina Cuomo's yoga video
CNN anchor Chris Cuomo has once again gone from reporting the news to being in the news, this time after allegedly getting caught naked in his wife's yoga video on Instagram.
Some of Cristina Greeven Cuomo's 123,000 Instagram followers tuned in late May to watch the mother-of-three wellness guru practice yoga at her home studio, only to get an eyeful of a man's nude backside outside her window overlooking the yard.
The video shot on or around May 27 was almost immediately removed from Instagram Live, but not before some quick-thinking users got screenshots of the man in his birthday suit and shared them on social media, as Page Six first reported.

Judicial Watch Victory: Federal Court Rules Montgomery County, MD, Program to Provide Cash Payments to Illegal Aliens Likely Violates Federal Law and Causes Irreparable Harm to Taxpayers
(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that a federal court ruled a Montgomery County, MD, program that provides $10 million in cash payments to illegal aliens likely violates federal law and irreparably harms county taxpayers. The court ordered the county to hold back 25% of any unspent funds until the court can fully consider the merits of Judicial Watch’s taxpayer lawsuit (Bauer, et al, v. Elrich, et al. (No. 20-cv-01212)). The court denied Judicial Watch’s request for a temporary restraining order.
This action comes in a lawsuit on behalf of Montgomery County taxpayers Sharon Bauer and Richard Jurgena, originally filed on May 13 in Montgomery County Circuit Court, which Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich and Raymond Crowel, director of the county’s Department of Health and Human Services, subsequently removed to federal court. The lawsuit seeks to permanently enjoin Elrich and Crowel from expending taxpayer money on the cash-benefits program known as the “Emergency Assistance Relief Payment Program” (EARP). Payments under EARP would amount to $500 per single adult, $1,000 per family with one child and $150 per additional child, up to a maximum of $1,450 per family.
Under federal law, certain categories of aliens, including unlawfully present aliens, are ineligible for state or local public benefits. Such benefits include direct, cash payments. If a state chooses to provide such benefits to unlawfully present aliens, it must enact a state law affirmatively providing for such eligibility.
Judicial Watch argues EARP violates federal law because the Maryland State Legislature has not authorized Montgomery County to provide these benefits to unlawfully present aliens. Therefore, Elrich and the County Council overstepped their authority when they created the program. The Montgomery County DHHS has stated that “unlawfully present aliens are eligible to apply for and receive cash payments.”
The court agreed with Judicial Watch, ruling that:
Based on an analysis of the federal statute alone, the Court concludes that Plaintiffs have demonstrated a strong likelihood of success on the merits.

'Low-Level' Rioters in New York City Will Not Face Any Criminal Charges
New York City, New York rioters arrested for crimes considered “low-level” will not face any charges after nights of rioting, looting, and setting fires.
Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance says his office will not prosecute any rioters who were charged with crimes like unlawful assembly or disorderly conduct. The announcement means the overwhelming majority of hundreds of rioters in New York City will likely not face any criminal prosecution.
Vance’s office said in a statement
The prosecution of protestors charged with these low-level offenses undermines critical bonds between law enforcement and the communities we serve.Days after the killing of George Floyd, our nation and our city are at a crossroads in our continuing endeavor to confront racism and systemic injustice wherever it exists.
Our office has a moral imperative to enact public policies which assure all New Yorkers that in our justice system and our society, black lives matter and police violence is a crime. We commend the thousands of our fellow New Yorkers who have peacefully assembled to demand these achievable aims, and our door is open to any New Yorker who wishes to be heard.
Only rioters who were arrested and where there is evidence that they contributed to attacks on police officers, looting, or destruction of property will face criminal charges.

NPR Advises Readers to ’Decolonize” Their Bookshelves by Removing White Authors
National Public Radio (NPR) posted a tweet Saturday urging every reader to begin “decolonizing your bookshelf.”
According to NPR, “white voices have dominated what has been considered canon for eons.” The public broadcaster advises fans to begin “decolonizing your bookshelf” by removing the works of white authors.
NPR suggests that “decolonizing your bookshelf” is about “about actively resisting and casting aside the colonialist ideas of narrative, storytelling, and literature that have pervaded the American psyche for so long.”
They posit:
If you are white, take a moment to examine your bookshelf. What do you see? What books and authors have you allowed to influence your worldview, and how you process the issues of racism and prejudice toward the disenfranchised? Have you considered that, if you identify as white and read only the work of white authors, you are in some ways listening to an extension of your own voice on repeat? While the details and depth of experience may differ, white voices have dominated what has been considered canon for eons.
On April 14, 2017, the Daily Beast referred to book burning as “perhaps the oldest form of censorship.”

We previously reported on New York’s Governor Andrew Cuomo, Health Commissioner Howard Zucker, MD and Executive Deputy Commissioner Sally Dreslin for having coronavirus blood on their hands.
Their actions led to thousands of deaths in New York state.
Yaacov Apelbaum at the Illustrated Primer drafted a post on the recent actions of New York’s governor and Department of Health Commissioner and Executive Deputy Commissioner. They are accountable for thousands of nursing home deaths because of their insane directives related to the China coronavirus. Below are some of the observations from Apelbaum.

WHO reverses position on face masks as coronavirus cases climb
The World Health Organization is now advising everyone to wear face masks in public when they can’t practice social distancing — an about-face from its earlier guidance on stopping the spread of the coronavirus.
WHO director-general Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced the shift Friday, citing new evidence that showed face masks worn by healthy people could be “a barrier for potentially infectious droplets,” the BBC reported.
WHO had always advised that sick people and their caretakers should wear medical face masks. The new guidance advises healthy people to wear non-medical face masks.
WHO officials for months have stood firm that a healthy person would get a false sense of security from wearing a mask and would use up supplies needed by medical professionals.
New York already has a mandate for everyone to wear a face mask if they can’t stay at least 6 feet apart.
New studies, however, show people can be highly infectious in the few days before they show symptoms or can catch the virus and never show symptoms.
