Peninsula Regional Medical Center, and Chief Quality Control Officer Dr. Snyder have opted to not alert the public. They won’t even mail or call those who have been compromised.
LifeStar has yet to gain control of their systems. Everything is having to be documented on paperwork PRMC has a contract with LifeStar, and they haven’t even considered using a third party, at least until they get control of their systems.
If you’ve used LifeStar, and needed them for transportation, look very closely to your bank information, and insurance claims.
Shame on PRMC for not be transparent.
They’ve tried hiding this, but I got Joe Albero on my team!

Isn't that the Bruce Fowlers old company?
ReplyDeleteHasn't been owned by the Fowler's since 2010. Now called LifeStar Response not LifeStar Ambulance. Check their website for full company history.
DeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteBilling for medical is so complicated as it is, it is very easy for people to get confused and not realize they were scammed or charged from being hacked.
Again Thank you !!
Now you know why I don't use PRMC PENCARE. This is the second time since OBAMA made all medical records on computer. This is just poor management and poor IT dept.
ReplyDeleteHow far back in time does this hack go?
ReplyDeleteIt is not PRMC's responsibility to notify patients. It is LifeStar's responsibility to notify all of their patients. HIPPA law.
ReplyDeleteReally 10:34?? Obama's fault? LOL.
ReplyDeleteIs anything in Salis on the up and up?
