The Truth Behind "Old People Smell"
"Old people smell" is a real phenomenon. The chemical composition of odor-producing molecules changes as we age and there are other factors that affect how the elderly smell, as well. Here's a look at some biological and behavioral reasons for changes in body odor as we get older—and tips for minimizing the smell (should you wish to).
Key Takeaways

Key Takeaways
- Body odor naturally changes as people age but there are other factors that contribute to "old people smell," as well.
- Research indicates people generally don't perceive an elderly person's natural body odor to be unpleasant.
- Other factors can contribute to unpleasant body odor, including medication use, underlying illness, diet, and perfume use.
- Body odor can be minimized by increased bathing frequency and with the use of a deodorizing antiperspirant.

They Will Still Hate You Even If You Disarm
It was quite a surprise to find out that we Trump voters were personally responsible for the savage murder sprees of a creep who dug single-payer and a satanist fan of Big Chief Warren. The El Paso scumbag decided he wanted to murder Hispanics because migration would somehow destroy the environment, which falls right in line with classical progressive eugenics balderdash. The Democrat from Dayton was full-on #Resistance. But apparently we conservatives were to blame for their actions because we refuse to give up our rights.
Now, those links I just outlined between these idiots’ political beliefs and liberals should not act to place the moral blame for their vile deeds upon liberals, but they must because that’s apparently the new rule. It’s a stupid rule and I think we should go back to the old rule - the person responsible for the crime he commits is the criminal - but since the new rule is in effect then the liberals can enjoy it like a suppository.
Remember, everything the mainstream media tells you at the behest of the liberal elite is a lie and a scam designed to increase their power and wealth by diminishing your power and wealth. Global warming? It’s such a crisis that they need to fly their private jets to fabulous resorts to discuss how you must trade in your Ford Expedition for a Schwinn and how millions of people like you who support their families in the petroleum industry better learn to code. And now the crisis of two left-friendly mutants out of 335 million people means you need to be disarmed. Oh, and you’re also racists so you should be disenfranchised too.

Lead US Prosecutor In Epstein's 2008 Case Unexpectedly Resigns
Something big is about to hit in the Jeffrey Epstein drama, which in recent days has quietly slipped to the last page in the local media.
Moments ago, the Miami Herald whose reporting in 2018 reincarnated the Epstein pedogate scandal, reported that Marie VillafaƱa, the lead federal prosecutor who helped negotiate the controversial plea deal for accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, has submitted her resignation to the Justice Department.
VillafaƱa’s lawyer, Jonathan Biran, confirmed her resignation to the Miami Herald, saying that she has long planned to transition to a legal career in healthcare, and now plans to join the federal Department of Health and Human Services, because allegedly, she handled a number of healthcare fraud cases in South Florida in recent years.

Mother of El Paso shooter called cops BEFORE the massacre because she was worried about her son owning an AK-47
An attorney for the family of the man charged in the El Paso Walmart shooting rampage says the man's mother contacted police weeks before the rampage out of concern that her son had a rifle.
Attorney Chris Ayres told CNN that the call was made to police in Allen, a Dallas suburb, by the mother of Patrick Crusius, 21.
He and fellow attorney R. Jack Ayres also said the mother didn't identify herself or her son in the call.

Media Spin for Biden, Deceptively Omit Trump’s Condemnation of Neo-Nazis in Charlottesville Remarks
Several left-leaning news outlets on Thursday deceptively omitted President Donald Trump’s condemnation of Neo-Nazis and white nationalists who showed up at a “Unite the Right” protest in Charlottesville, Virginia, in August 2017.
Breitbart Senior Editor-at-Large Joel Pollak confronted Biden in Iowa on Thursday and said, “Mr. Vice President, are you aware that you’re misquoting Donald Trump in Charlottesville? He never called Neo-Nazis very fine people.”
Biden replied, “No, he called all those folks who walked out of that — they were Neo-Nazis shouting hate, their veins bulging.”
“But he said specifically that he was condemning them,” Pollak insisted.
“No, he did not. He said — let’s get this straight — he said there were very fine people in both groups. They were chanting antisemitic slogans, carrying flags,” Biden said, before storming away.

She stopped by a farm in Harlan, Iowa where the farmer did not hesitate to lecture her on her Green New Deal plan to eliminate cows.
This is where we are in America.

Donald Trump Says ‘Regret’ Over Alcoholic Brother’s Death Allows Him To Understand The Opioid Crisis
President Donald Trump is not one to often express remorse, but he apparently does regret pressuring his brother Fred Trump, Jr. to manage the family business instead of being the pilot that he longed to be.
“Come on, Freddy, what are you doing?” Trump told his brother, according to a Washington Post interview published Thursday. “You’re wasting your time.”
“I do regret having put pressure on him.”

Scott Presler's #BaltimoreCleanup Is Further Proof of 'Can-Do' Attitude
My column last week was written in response to what has become the typical claim of the political class during election season: Increasing numbers of Americans are helpless victims whose problems can only be solved by government.
Using homelessness as an example, I compared the expensive failures of government in cities like Los Angeles and Austin, Texas, with the success of Community First Village, a privately funded initiative in Austin. Starting small and focusing on the needs of a few, Community First has grown in just three years to the point where it is preparing to house and help 500 people -- nearly 40% of Austin’s chronically homeless population.
This week saw another example of the “can-do” attitude of private citizens. Scott Presler, a young conservative activist from northern Virginia, used his substantial social media following (he has over 300,000 followers on Twitter) to organize a one-day trash cleanup in Baltimore -- a city whose problems have recaptured the nation’s attention since President Trump tweeted about it being “rat and rodent infested” two weeks ago.

Will 2020 be a Repeat of 2004 for Democrats?
Democrats by 2004 had become obsessed with defeating incumbent President George W. Bush.
Four years earlier, in the 2000 election, Bush had won the Electoral College but lost the popular vote. Democrats were still furious that Bush supposedly had been "selected" by the Supreme Court over the contested vote tally in Florida rather than "elected" by the majority of voters.
By late 2003, Bush's popularity had dipped over the unpopular Iraq War, which a majority in both houses of Congress approved but had since disowned.
Bush was attacked nonstop as a Nazi, fascist, and war criminal. "Bush lied, people died" was the new left-wing mantra.

Unconstitutional, Tyrannical Red Flag Gun Confiscation Laws Are Coming Fast
Within minutes of the tragic mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton, gun control fanatics were predictably not letting a crisis go to waste by calling for extreme measures of gun control. The usual suspects were at it – Soros organizations, MSM, left-wing extremists, and Democratic Party members – but, interestingly enough, they were joined by many Republican lawmakers as well. While Lindsey Graham, a Senator who has scarcely seen a right in the Bill of Rights he hasn’t wanted to carve up for dinner, is no shocker, others in staunchly red states have also joined the call for stricter gun control measures.
Most surprising, however, is that President Donald Trump has jumped on the bandwagon, calling for “red flag laws” among other egregious measures to deal with the recent spate of shootings in the United States.
The response from Trump’s base has been a mix of personality cult support and virulent opposition, hinting that Trump, if he goes forward with his “red flag” proposal, could be shooting himself in the foot for 2020. After the last few years, it is clear that nothing Trump could ever do would convince a leftist to vote for him. However, he can convince his own supporters to stay home in 2020 and that appears to be what is going to happen if he doesn’t quickly pull an about-face in the manner that he has done in the past in regards to many of his positive attempts to govern (Syria, Afghanistan, etc.).

Baltimore Sun Attacks Trump Supporter Who Organized Massive City Clean Up
Last week, Townhall covered MAGA supporter Scott Presler's call to action in Baltimore by inviting "Americans to help Americans" and go clean up neighborhoods in Charm City. Presler at first kept secret when the event would occur for fear of retaliation from the far-left like Antifa. But, on Saturday, Presler and 100 other citizens from all over the country traveled to West Baltimore for the massive trash clean up. By all measures, it was hugely successful. However, on Monday, the Baltimore Sun's editorial board ran an op-ed, trashing Presler and his group saying they only did the event to embarrass Baltimore and its residents.
The op-ed was snarkily titled, "We assume it was pure motives that led a Trump supporter to launch a cleanup in Cummings’ district, right?"
"The effort was organized by pro-Trump activist Scott Presler. He claimed the event was not political. Yes, he was inspired to come by tweets from President Donald Trump describing the area, represented by U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings, as a 'rodent infested mess,'" the editors wrote. "But the visit wasn’t about showing support or animosity for either man, he said."

The link between pot and mass shootings may be closer than we think
You can’t walk through the streets of Manhattan these days without smelling weed.
Even as evidence mounts of the health problems associated with marijuana, New York has insisted on joining other greedy states scrambling to legalize this deceptively dangerous drug.
It makes no sense at a time when American youth is suffering from an unprecedented mental health crisis.
And, in all honesty, we cannot rule out a connection between increasing marijuana use, mental illness and the recent spate of mass shootings by disturbed young males.
We don’t yet know much about the mental state or drug use of the El Paso or Dayton killers. But a former girlfriend of Dayton killer Connor Betts, 24, has indicated he was mentally ill, and two of his friends interviewed by reporters this week mentioned his previous drug use.
Just last year, the Parents Opposed to Pot lobby group tried to sound the alarm on the link between marijuana and mass shootings, compiling a list of mass killers it claims were heavy users of marijuana from a young age, from Aurora, Colo., shooter James Holmes and Tucson, Ariz., shooter Jared Loughner to Chattanooga, Tenn., shooter Mohammad Abdulazeez.
Until we understand those links, it is nuts to enact lax laws that encourage more young people to use a drug proven to trigger mental illness.
President Trump was right to highlight mental illness in his remarks Wednesday on the El Paso and Dayton shootings, not that his unscrupulous critics will listen, so determined are they to brand him a white supremacist.

Pelosi writes to Trump on gun control: 'Call Senate in immediately'
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sent a letter to President Trump Thursday urging him to use his authority to call the Senate into session to vote on a bill expanding background checks for gun purchases.
The move would overrule Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who has so far ignored the demands of Democrats to convene the Senate.
“Today, as Speaker of the House, I am writing in good faith to request that you call the United States Senate back into session immediately under your powers in Article II Section 3 of the Constitution to consider House-passed bipartisan gun violence prevention legislation,” Pelosi wrote.

Texas police union says media 'fanning the flames of discord' over horseback arrest
The Galveston Municipal Police Association defended the actions of two mounted officers that arrested and led a black man with a rope, an image that drew outcry from some in the community.
GMPA president Geoff Gainer slammed the media on Wednesday for its reporting on the story, accusing journalists of "fanning the flames of discord" in a "country is roiled by recent tragic events." The cops' actions were not motivated by racial animus, and the technique used is common practice for mounted cops across the nation, Gainer said.
Officers arrested Donald Neely on charges of criminal trespass over the weekend. At the time of the arrest, no police units were available to transport Neely to jail. The officers escorted him to a mounted unit staging area to wait by tying a rope to his hands and leading him from horseback.

Twitter locks McConnell campaign’s account over video of protesters
Twitter locked Sen. Mitch McConnell’s campaign account after he posted a video of protesters gathered in front of his Kentucky home, shouting that he should “die” and break his “little raggedy wrinkled-ass neck,” the company said.
McConnell’s campaign posted the video Tuesday morning after his camp traded jabs with freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who slammed McConnell after young supporters of his were pictured “groping and choking” a life-sized cardboard cutout of her.
“Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and liberal Twitter personalities are trying to dox some underage kids for taking a photo with a cutout at the Fancy Farm political picnic and are cheering on thousands of accounts calling for Senator McConnell to ‘break his neck,’ ” the campaign wrote in the tweet that accompanied the video.
“Twitter will allow the words ‘Massacre Mitch’ to trend nationally on their platform. But locks our account for posting actual threats against us. We appealed and Twitter stood by their decision, saying our account will remain locked until we delete the video,” McConnell’s campaign manager Kevin Golden said in a statement.

Nine Themes in El Paso Shooter’s Manifesto the Media Ignored to Blame Trump
In recent days, major news media outlets and prominent Democratic Party politicians have wildly sought to connect President Trump’s rhetoric and policies to an unhinged manifesto attributed to the 21-year-old accused of murdering 22 people in cold blood and injuring dozens when he opened fire in a Walmart in El Paso.
The manifesto is clearly the work of a demented mind expressing views that are all over the map, yet it has been cited numerous times to divine the El Paso shooter’s alleged motives and link the mass murder to Trump. The New York Times, for example, printed a story titled, “El Paso Shooting Suspect’s Manifesto Echoes Trump’s Language.” Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-TX) went so far as to exclaim, “The manifesto that that guy wrote could have been written by the people that write Trump’s speeches.”
A closer look at the manifesto attributed to shooting suspect Patrick Wood Crusius shows that the author did not have a coherent political viewpoint. While the text contains racist language targeting the Hispanic community, it also evidences hatred toward what the writer labeled “average Americans” and calls for a decrease in the general American population. Missing from much of the news media coverage is that the manifesto promotes far-left policy prescriptions including universal healthcare and a socialist-style “universal income.”
While the news media have sought to portray the shooter as a Trump ideologue, perhaps the two main themes of the document are actually anti-corporatist and eco-extremist sentiment. The media coverage also largely ignores that the shooter actually blames the Trump administration for a spike in work visas and repeatedly labeled both Republicans and Democrats as sellouts to corporations on a host of issues.
Here are nine key sections of the manifesto that the news media are largely ignoring in a clear effort to link Trump to the shooter’s warped ideology.

The message, first posted on Reddit on July 15, 2018, warns that liberals will "pay you back so f--king hard for all of this shit." The payback includes, "Planned Parenthoods on every damn corner" and having Air Force One being repainted pink to fly "over your beloved Bible Belt 6 days a week, tossing birth control pills, condoms & atheist literature from the cockpit."
The message also mentions Chick-fil-A and warns liberals will be "buying all those and giving them to any LGBTQ person your sick cult leaders tortured with conversion therapy. Have fun with the new menu you bigoted f--ks."

House Democrat calls for federal white nationalist list
A House Democrat wants the Trump administration to compile a list of “potential” white nationalists, accusing the president of helping spread the movement.
”This President has taken the smoldering ember of white nationalism, doused it with rhetorical gasoline, and watched it spread like wildfire," Rep. Emanuel Cleaver of Missouri said in a statement.
"White nationalists time and time again have used the exact language of this President to condone their violence against immigrants, Muslims, and other minorities," said Cleaver, 74, a former Kansas City mayor and ordained United Methodist pastor. "If the President truly wants to stamp out these extremists, then I call on him and his administration to label these white supremacist groups, investigate them, and name the El Paso shooter exactly what he is: a terrorist."

SLOPPY: CDC Shuts Down Military Lab Studying Ebola, Plague, etc. Amid Fears It’s GETTING OUT Through Wastewater
We may not have to wait for a traveler from the Democratic Republic of Congo to visit the United States for an Ebola outbreak. It just might be brought to us by our own military along with the plague and other horrifying germs.
The laboratory at Fort Detrick, the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases, has been sent a cease-and-desist order by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention after a second inspection showed sloppy handling of deadly germs and viruses.
The CDC inspected the military research institute in June and inspectors found several areas of concern in standard operating procedures, which are in place to protect workers in biosafety level 3 and 4 laboratories, spokeswoman Caree Vander Linden confirmed in an email Friday.

Man “full of anger” went on two-hour stabbing rampage
A man who was “full of anger” went on a two-hour stabbing and robbery rampage in Southern California, killing four people and wounding two others, authorities said Wednesday.
The 33-year-old Garden Grove man was taken into custody after he came out of a 7-Eleven in Santa Ana, southeast of Los Angeles, and dropped a knife along with a handgun that he had taken from a guard, police said.
The violence appeared to be random and the only known motives seem to be “robbery, hate, homicide,” Garden Grove police Lt. Carl Whitney said at a news conference.
“We know this guy was full of anger and he harmed a lot of people tonight,” he said.
The suspect and all the victims were Hispanic, he added.

ESPN Pulls Trailer for Movie Where Liberals Hunt ‘Deplorables’ for Sport
ESPN has pulled a trailer for Universal Pictures and Blumhouse’s The Hunt – a movie reportedly featuring liberal elites hunting red state “deplorables” for sport – over the weekend, a decision influenced by the mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton, that left over 30 dead and several dozen wounded.
An ESPN source confirmed that the film’s trailers will no longer air on the network, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Over the Aug. 3 weekend, ESPN pulled an ad for the film that it had previously cleared, while AMC ran the spot during the season premiere of its drama The Preacher. It’s unclear whether the ads were identical, but the one yanked by ESPN opened with a sound resembling an emergency broadcast signal. A rep for ESPN parent Disney declined to comment on the move, but an ESPN source says no spots for the film will appear on the network in the coming weeks.More
Poll: Majority of Blacks, Hispanics Support Anti-Illegal Immigration 2020 Candidates
The overwhelming majority of American voters say they are more likely to support 2020 presidential candidates who oppose illegal immigration to the United States, a new poll finds.
The latest Harvard/Harris Poll reveals that about 70 percent, or seven-in-ten, U.S. voters said they would be more likely to support a 2020 presidential candidate who stands for “strengthening our border to reduce illegal immigration” to the country.
Only 30 percent of U.S. voters said they would be less likely to support a 2020 presidential candidate who supported reducing illegal immigration.
Support for reducing illegal immigration is vastly popularly among swing voters, about 69 percent of whom said they would be more likely to back a candidate like President Trump in the 2020 election because of his stance against illegal immigration.
Similarly, voters across racial lines said they would be more likely to support a 2020 presidential candidate that wants to reduce illegal immigration.

Hollywood blockbuster that satirizes killing of ‘deplorables’ causes outrage: ‘Demented and evil’
A controversial movie about privileged vacationers hunting “deplorables” for sport is ruffling feathers more than a month before its scheduled release and after tragic mass shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio.
“The Hunt” is billed as a satire that follows wealthy thrill-seekers taking a private jet to a five-star resort where they embark on a “deeply rewarding” expedition that involves hunting down and killing designated humans. The Hollywood Reporter reported on Tuesday that “Universal is re-evaluating its strategy for the certain-to-be-controversial satire" following the shootings after ESPN reportedly pulled a trailer for the film that had been previously cleared to air on the sports network.
“The violent, R-rated film from producer Jason Blum's Blumhouse follows a dozen MAGA types who wake up in a clearing and realize they are being stalked for sport by elite liberals,” THR’s Kim Masters and Tatiana Siegel wrote. “It features guns blazing along with other ultra-violent killings as the elites pick off their prey.”

An American Hero Killed In Vietnam Comes Home, And An Entire Airport Terminal Stops To Watch
On Thursday, everyone at a terminal at the Dallas airport witnessed something extraordinary: the remains of an American pilot who was shot down in 1967 were finally brought home — and the pilot of the plane carrying the remains was his son, who was only five years old when his father was shot down.
Jackson Proskow, the Washington Bureau Chief for Canada’s Global News and Globe National, chronicled the moment on Twitter:
"I’m at the airport in Dallas, waiting for my flight home to DC from El Paso, and something incredible is happening. Our incoming plane is carrying the remains of an American pilot shot down over Vietnam in 1967. His remains were only recently recovered and identified and brought back to the U.S. As we wait at the gate, we’re told that Captain Knight is coming home to Dallas. When he left from this very airport to fight in Vietnam his 5 year old son came to the airfield and waved goodbye. It was the last time he would see his father alive.
"Today the pilot of the plane bringing Capt. Knight back to Dallas is his son.
"The entire terminal has come to watch this arrival.
"What a privilege it was to witness this moment. For those asking, they announced it over the intercom. The gate agent was very emotional as he told the story over the PA. They handed out American flags to everyone at the gate."
Proskow concluded, “On May 19, 1967, Maj. Roy A. Knight, Jr., USAF, was shot down while attacking a target on the Ho Chi Minh Trail in Laos. He was initially listed as Missing in Action until being declared Killed in Action in 1974. During that time, he was promoted to Colonel. Fifty-two years later, in February, 2019, Col. Knight’s remains were recovered and identified by personnel assigned to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency.”
