LOADED HANDGUN LOCATED DURING TRAFFIC STOP
LOADED HANDGUN LOCATED DURING TRAFFIC STOP
Theaddis I. Johnson, 22, of Milford, Del. and Richard R. Vantine, 22, of Georgetown, Del. were arrested Saturday (03/30/19) afternoon when officers located a loaded 9mm handgun in their vehicle during a traffic stop.
At around 4:00pm, a Rehoboth Beach Police officer observed a white Chevrolet Impala with multiple cracks to its windshield driving westbound on Rehoboth Avenue approaching the traffic circle. The officer caught up to the vehicle at which time the vehicle aggressively turned off the roadway into a private driveway where the officer conducted a traffic stop.
Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer could smell a strong odor of fresh marijuana coming from inside. The officer identified Johnson as the driver and Vantine as the passenger of the vehicle. Vantine initially provide the officer with a fictitious name, but his true identity was obtained later.
Officers removed both occupants from the vehicle and conducted a search. Officers located in excess of three ounces of suspected marijuana throughout the vehicle and on the occupants. The marijuana was packaged in multiple bags and containers. In addition, inside the vehicle, officers located a backpack containing a loaded 9mm semi-automatic handgun and additional ammunition for the gun.

Mr. Albero,
The DC Swamp and liberal media has continued to mount a campaign against D. J. Trump using lies, deceit, coercion and identity politics to the point that many Trump supporters are ashamed to show their support for our current POTUS. Never in my lifetime have I seen our country so politically divided, and the main-stream media is mainly to blame.
This weeks' release of the Mueller Report shows how far the Deep-State and the MSM will go to use their power of propaganda to cast doubt that President Trump is in the Oval Office because a bunch of 'deplorable' voters were tricked into voting for him because of Russian government interference, going so far to say that he 'colluded' with them, which is a treasonous accusation.
On top of that, the main-stream media has created so much animosity toward Trump supporters, that it becomes difficult to publicly display our support for the man who earned his place in the White House, fair and square and without Russian collusion. The MSM uses identity politics to shame Trump supporters by calling us racist, homophobic, sexist, 'deplorable', etc. I was recently questioned for wearing a flag on my lapel and it was insinuated that i was racist for wearing it. Since when does support for the flag and country mean that your are racist??!! What has become of our country?
To this end, i find it disappointing that, except for a few exceptions of flags in and around Ocean City marinas, we see very little public support for our POTUS.
So, I send this out to all of your viewers: WE NEED TO START SHOWING OUR SUPPORT FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP MORE NOW THAN EVER BEFORE if we want him to remain in the White House. He seems to be that last remaining bastion of patriotism that our government has.
The future of our democracy depends on OUR earnest support. This weeks' rebuttal of a corrupt Deep-State swamp attempted coup-de-tat proves that we are in the fight of our lives. Think how bad it would have been if Hillary won.
Trump is the Rodney Dangerfield of world leaders and he deserves to get a lot more respect.
Display your support on your homes, businesses and vehicles to show the silent Trump supporters that they are not alone and should not be ashamed to support a true patriot. We need to KEEP AMERICA GREAT! And to do that, we need a ground swell of enthusiastic voter support of our presidents polices to keep it great.
Joe, thank you for posting this on your site. You are a true patriot!
A very concerned citizen and supporter of truth, decency and our United States of America.

UPDATED: Trump administration proposal to cut Special Olympics funding may be unpopular, but it’s right
UPDATED:
President Trump heard the outrage loud and clear, 'cause he just announced that he will NOT seek to cut nearly $18 MILLION in funding from the Special Olympics.
The Trump administration budget, as in prior years, proposes cutting $17.6 million of federal funding for the Special Olympics. Even though this particular spending cut has been ignored by Congress in previous years, the public response has been mostly outrage.
But despite the outrage, the Trump administration is right: the federal government should cut its funding for the Special Olympics.
Consider the role of the federal government. Everything it funds should have good answers to these questions: What does the program do, and is it absolutely vital to the country? If the answer is that it's not vital, but it just seems like a nice thing to do, then it’s hard to justify it forcing people to spend their money on something they could voluntarily donate to.
The Special Olympics does not need federal funding. Thankfully, they do a great job generating revenue on their own. During the 2016 fiscal year, they earned $111.7 million in revenue (with only about $11.5 million, or 10 percent, coming from the federal government) and had $109.9 million in expenses, meaning they had a $1.8 million surplus — plus, $61.3 million in net assets. Corporate sponsorships and direct mail contributions comprised more than 80 percent of its revenue stream, while investments and other fundraising comprised about another 10 percent.

Mueller did not find Trump campaign "conspired or coordinated" with Russia
Special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation "did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities" during the 2016 campaign, he wrote in his final report. Attorney General William Barr summarized the report's findings in a letter to lawmakers Sunday.
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders called the report a "total and complete exoneration of the President of the United States."
Barr says Mueller described the facts surrounding his investigation into allegations of obstruction of justice but made no determination as to whether President Trump committed a crime, deferring to Barr. The report "does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him," Barr quotes Mueller as writing.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (ABC7) — A tow truck had to rescue a car on the University of Maryland campus on March 24 after a driver thought they could drive down steps without any issue.
The car, a black sedan, got stuck on the stairs on the Mayer Mall. Campus police responded, and then the tow truck was called.
The car sustained superficial damage and was driven away, but the driver was not injured.
University spokesperson Katie Lawson said, "The staircase sustained damage, and will remain closed until the necessary repairs are made."

Senator Mary Beth Carozza vote NO on Senate Bill 311
Yesterday, the full Senate debated Senate Bill 311-End of Life Option Act. If passed, this legislation would have legalized physician-assisted suicide in the State of Maryland. Senate Bill 311 failed by a vote of 23-23. I am proud to have spoken out on the Senate Floor and voted against this flawed legislation.
This type of legislation is flawed on so many levels. There is no way to predict an accurate prognosis, no safeguards for individuals with disabilities, no family notification required, no identification required for pickup, no doctor or nurse present when a patient ingests the lethal dosage, no drug take-back plan, and no way to prevent insurance fraud. The American Medical Association’s Code of Medical Ethics states that “physician-assisted suicide is fundamentally incompatible with the physician’s role as healer.”
Also, I am very concerned that legalizing physician-assisted suicide (PAS) would make suicide socially acceptable and would increase overall suicide rates in Maryland. Every state that has passed a physician-assisted suicide law has seen an increase in non-assisted suicides. Since passing a PAS law in 1977, Oregon has seen a 49.3 percent increase in non-assisted suicide. While we won today, I will continue to speak out against any and all attempts to legalize physician-assisted suicide in Maryland.
British Government Rules Christianity Is Not a Religion of Peace, Rejects Convert
The Home Office has rejected the asylum application of a Christian convert from Iran who said they had been drawn to the faith by its peaceful nature, due to a Government official ruling that Christianity is not peaceful.
The applicant indicated that they had converted to Christianity from Islam because of its peaceful nature, stating that “In Islam there is violence, rage and revenge. In Christianity in the contrary it is talking about peace, forgiveness and kindness.”
This earned the ire of the Home Office bureaucrat or bureaucrats charged with assessing the application, the Times reports.
The official cobbled together six passages from the King James Version and New Internation Version of the Old and New Testaments — such as Matthew 10:34, in which Christ proclaims he “came not to send peace, but a sword” — in an effort to prove that the applicant’s view of Christianity was wrong, and that Christian scripture is in fact “filled with imagery of revenge, destruction, death and violence”.
“These examples are inconsistent with your claim that you converted to Christianity after discovering it is a ‘peaceful’ religion, as opposed to Islam which contains violence, rage and revenge,” the rejection letter to the applicant admonishes passive-aggressively; an implicit ruling that Christianity is not peaceful — certainly not relative to Islam — and indeed is so clearly not peaceful that the Home Office does not consider perceived peacefulness a credible reason for conversion.

Study finds enough fecal matter on McDonald's touchscreens to put people in the hospital
Researchers tested touchscreens at eight different McDonald's locations and found fecal bacteria on every one of them, according to findings published in Metro.
The British paper tested six locations in London, and two in Birmingham and found enough bacterial matter to put people in the hospital.
Senior lecturer in microbiology at London Metropolitan University Dr Paul Matewele told Metro:

Senior lecturer in microbiology at London Metropolitan University Dr Paul Matewele told Metro:
We were all surprised how much gut and fecal bacteria there was on the touchscreen machines. These cause the kind of infections that people pick up in hospitals. For instance Enterococcus faecalis is part of the flora of gastrointestinal tracts of healthy humans and other mammals. It is notorious in hospitals for causing hospital acquired infections.’More
Ilhan Omar tells Muslims to 'raise hell' and 'make people uncomfortable' in defending their rights
Rep. Ilhan Omar, the Minnesota Democrat dogged by allegations of anti-Semitism, told Muslims in a speech Saturday to “raise hell” and “make people uncomfortable” in defense of their rights.
As hundreds of pro-Israel protesters rallied outside, Ms. Omar said U.S. Muslims should confront discrimination in her keynote speech at a fundraiser hosted by the Council on American-Islamic Relations of Greater Los Angeles in Woodland Hills, California.
“So, to me, I say raise hell. Make people uncomfortable,” Ms. Omar said as the crowd cheered. “Because here’s the truth, here’s the truth: Far too long we have lived with the discomfort of being a second-class citizen and frankly I’m tired of it, and every single Muslim in this country should be tired of it.”
Ms. Omar, whose speech was livestreamed by Fox News and posted on CAIR’s Facebook page, also intimated that President Trump was to blame in part for the horrific March 15 shooting at a mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand, which left 50 dead.

High Rise Meeting In Downtown Salisbury Tonight
The new owners of 130 and 132 East Main Street are seeking application from the Board of Zoning Appeals and from the Salisbury Historic District Commission to construct a 12-story building across from the Post Office Building. This is located in the Downtown Historic District and the current zoning restricts building heights to 75’ and residential density to 40 units per acre. The project would require approval of a building 185’ high (the height of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge) and density of 340 units per acre.
I have not seen this matter widely covered. The Mayor seems to strongly support this project. The public, including the neighboring property owners, seem to have been unaware of the magnitude of this venture.
A hearing before the Historic District Commission is scheduled for March 27th at 7:00 p.m. and the Board of Zoning Appeals for April 10th at 6:00 p.m.

$5 Hourly Rate For Inlet Parking Lot On Fourth Of July Approved; Flat Rate From Previous Years Abandoned
OCEAN CITY — After a significant drop-off in Inlet lot parking revenue on the Fourth of July last summer, resort officials this week tweaked the formula with an increased hourly rate on the popular holiday.
For several years, the Town of Ocean City charged a flat rate to park on the Inlet lot on the Fourth of July to, among other things, alleviate the congestion often associated with hundreds of vehicles leaving at the same time and paying before leaving at the exit booths. For example, for years the July 4 Inlet lot rates were set on a graduated scale including a $50 fee for cars entering the lot between 6 a.m. and noon, a $30 rate for cars entering the lot between noon and 3 p.m. and a $20 rate for vehicles entering the lot after 3 p.m.
In the last year of the sliding flat rate system, the Inlet lot grossed nearly $83,000 on the Fourth of July alone. Last year, however, the town implemented a new pay-by-plate parking system at the Inlet, thereby alleviating the need for paying at the exit booth when leaving the lot. Incidentally, the traditional back-ups leaving the Inlet lot after the fireworks on the Fourth were not alleviated, not as a result of any shortcomings of the new parking system, but rather the inability of Baltimore Avenue and downtown streets to absorb hundreds of vehicles leaving the lot at the same time.

Ocasio-Cortez Unloads On Fox Hosts For Not Saying Her Full Name. There's Just One Problem.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) claimed that Fox News hosts, such as Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and Tucker Carlson, refer to her as simply “Cortez,” instead of her full last name, “Ocasio-Cortez.” Although there is no evidence to prove they have ever referred to her as “Cortez,” the NY representative slammed Fox and accused those who drop the “Ocasio” of having racial malice.

“Fox News likes to say my name (incorrectly) as ‘Cortez,’ which I can only imagine is bc that sounds more ‘stereotypically’ Hispanic + probably incites more ‘anxiety’ for them,” she claimed in a Wednesday tweet. Her complaint continued: “My last name is Ocasio-Cortez. Full stop. That’s my name. No, you can’t say ‘Cortez.’ I’ve never used that in my life. ‘Cortez’ is referring to someone else.”
“Pro Tip: My last name is not ‘Cortez,’ just as theirs isn’t ‘Ingra’ or ‘Carl’ or ‘Hann,’” she added, referencing Ingraham, Carlson, and Hannity.

Trump threatens to close southern border amid 'breaking point' warning
President Trump threatened to close the southern border on Thursday, accusing Mexico and Central American nations of doing “nothing” as illegal immigration surges.
“Mexico is doing NOTHING to help stop the flow of illegal immigrants to our Country. They are all talk and no action. Likewise, Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador have taken our money for years, and do Nothing. The Dems don’t care, such BAD laws. May close the Southern Border!” Trump tweeted early Thursday.
The president’s tweets come after U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Kevin McAleenan said the border was at its “breaking point,” noting there are not enough agents to respond to the flow of illegal immigrants crossing the U.S.-Mexico border.

MSNBC’S RACHEL MADDOW LOSES HALF-A-MILLION VIEWERS AFTER IMPLOSION OF COLLUSION CONSPIRACY
MSNBC host Rachel Maddow lost half-a-million viewers in just one week after special counsel Robert Mueller’s report indicated that he did not find enough evidence to support collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
Maddow has been one of the most prominent voices on the collusion conspiracy, spending most of her programs over the past two years on allegations that President Donald Trump coordinated with the Russian government to win the 2016 presidential election. Maddow struggled to hold back tears as she delivered her opening monologue last Friday, clearly stunned that Mueller did not bring any indictments against the president or his family.
The implosion of the Russian collusion narrative damaged more than just Maddow’s ego — it also destroyed her ratings, at least temporarily.

WHERE'S TRUMP'S TAX RETURNS?
I'm not interested in the tax returns of a rich man who becomes president and who then donates his salary. I'd like to see the tax returns of politicians who start with nothing but leave office with millions.
You will like this response………
*Press Secretary Sarah Sanders is one of the brightest people in the current administration. She has a very quick wit about her.*
*During a recent press conference, a reporter with MSNBC hollered from the press corps, "Where is President Trump hiding his tax returns?”*
*Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, astutely responded, "We've found a very secure place and I'm certain they won't be found.”*
*"And just where is that?" asked the reporter sarcastically. Mrs. Sanders grinned sardonically and said,*
*"They are underneath Obama's college records, his passport application, his immigration status as a student, his funding sources to pay for college, his college records, and his Selective Service registration.
"Next question?"*

Governor Larry Hogan Signs Landmark Legislation to Protect Federal WorkersFederal Shutdown Paycheck Protection Act Prevents Financial Hardship Stemming from Federal Government Inaction
ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Larry Hogan today signed the bipartisan Federal Shutdown Paycheck Protection Act (HB 336/SB 391) to protect Marylanders from the impact of federal inaction.
Governor Hogan was joined by Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller and Speaker Pro Tem Adrienne Jones.
More than 170,000 Marylanders were affected by the 2018-2019 partial federal government shutdown. At 35 days, it was the longest shutdown of the federal government in the nation’s history, and highlighted the immediate concerns of working Marylanders during times of financial hardship.
“The shutdown’s impact on Maryland’s federal workers was beyond staggering, and we want to make sure they don’t have to experience this kind of hardship again,” said Governor Hogan. “Hundreds of thousands of Maryland families experienced difficulty putting food on the table and fuel in their vehicles, as well as paying their mortgages, rent, and utility bills. Throughout the shutdown, our administration worked tirelessly to support these workers, and this legislation fulfills that commitment.”

The awardee was selected after a competitive MES procurement process.
“This project will create jobs while bringing lower energy prices to the residents and businesses on the Eastern Shore. It will also significantly reduce the carbon footprint for both facilities and provide a pathway forward for clean natural gas,” stated Dr. Mary Beth Tung, MEA Director. “Cleaner energy is the key to an improved environment and for expanded economic development for the residents of the Eastern Shore. "
“MES will facilitate this project, providing a cleaner and more reliable fuel source for our State business partners Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) and University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES),” said Roy McGrath, Maryland Environmental Service CEO and Chairman. “This project serves as an important transition to a much more environmentally sustainable and efficient method of operation, and an investment to spur further regional economic development.”
“This project demonstrates the State of Maryland’s commitment to finding the most environmentally responsible and efficient methods of supplying power to our facilities,” said DPSCS Acting Secretary Michael Ziegler.
“The University of Maryland Eastern Shore is pleased to welcome this new opportunity for our campus to be more environmentally friendly,” said President Heidi M. Anderson. “UMES thanks Governor Hogan and the Maryland Environmental Service (MES) for their work to make Maryland cleaner and greener.”
The awardee was selected after an exhaustive and competitive procurement process involving DPSCS, MEA, UMES, the University System of Maryland (USM), and was led by MES. UMES is a public institution of higher education within the University System of Maryland, and operates 48 buildings on 745 acres. UMES currently uses a mix of fuel oils and propane to operate its heating system
ECI is a medium-security state prison for men, owned and operated by the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services and, currently utilizes debarked wood chips as its primary source of fuel.
The State of Maryland has been working diligently to expand alternative energy options like natural gas to residents and businesses. In December of 2017, Governor Larry Hogan announced that the State of Maryland, Montgomery and Prince George’s counties, and Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA), had reached a $161.1 million settlement agreement in the proposed merger of Washington Gas Light’s parent company, WGL Holdings with AltaGas, Ltd. The State negotiated strongly to ensure the highest level of benefits for Marylanders including a Most Favored Nation clause, a residential rate credit ($50 per ratepayer), robust ring fencing, outreach and education programs, construction safety, and international arbitration protections.

Another Poll Shows Ocasio-Cortez's Approval Ratings Are Straight Trash
She may be a fighter. She may be a darling of the far left of the Democratic Party. Her followers may like how she takes the fight to the GOP, even if she’s hitting way above her weight class. But Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) approval ratings are trash. Now, is indicative that her political career is toast? It’s still way too early, though some of these figures are not solid for someone in a solidly Democratic district. For now, let’s just say that she’s probably going to be re-elected, barring any more pushes that cost her state jobs and economic activity a la Amazon purge
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has grown less popular in New York – even among Democrats – following Amazon's decision to scrap its planned offices in Queens.More
Thirty-one percent of registered voters in the state view the freshman House Democrat favorably, while 44 percent have an unfavorable view, according to a Siena College poll released Monday. In January, 34 percent of New York voters viewed Ocasio-Cortez favorably, versus 29 percent who had an unfavorable opinion, a Quinnipiac University poll found.
Kentucky governor signs bill outlawing sex between people and animals
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – It's official: Bestiality will become illegal in Kentucky.
Gov. Matt Bevin signed a bill Tuesday that outlaws sex between humans and animals in the Bluegrass State.
Senate Bill 67 prohibits sexual contact between a person and an animal, defining sexual contact as "any act committed between a person and an animal for the purpose of sexual arousal, sexual gratification, abuse or financial gain."
Kentucky had been one of the final few states to not have a law banning bestiality, alongside Wyoming, New Mexico, West Virginia, Hawaii and Washington, D.C.

Movie Review: Tim Burton’s live-action ‘Dumbo’ too sad for intended audience
In 1941, Walt Disney was at a crossroads, breaking box office records with his first feature “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” (1937), but losing money on both “Pinocchio” (1940) and “Fantasia” (1940), which are now deemed classics but struggled on the brink of World War II.
As a result, Disney set out to make his next project a simpler, cheaper effort in an attempt to recoup some money. Thus, we got “Dumbo,” clocking in at a truncated 64 minutes and using watercolor backgrounds instead of the traditional oil paints. The low-budget gamble worked, as “Dumbo” became the most profitable Disney film of the 1940s, such a cultural hit that Time magazine nearly dubbed Dumbo its “Mammal of the Year” until the attack on Pearl Harbor.
And yet, for all its success upon its release, “Dumbo” remains one of the more dated films of the early Disney canon, from its cell animation to its controversial Jim Crow flock. This is probably why it’s getting such a massive makeover this weekend in Tim Burton’s new live-action remake of “Dumbo,” which eliminates too many of the beloved elements of the original classic for a relentlessly gloomy endeavor that’s way too sad for its intended child audience.

Confirmed: Obama Waited Until After 2016 Election to Screw Israel out of Fear of Putting Political Pressure on Crooked Hillary
Obama never much liked Israel and he proved it with his policies.
In December 2016, in a final despicable act against Christians and Jews, Barack Obama effectively signed over Christendom’s and Judaism’s holiest sites to radical Muslim groups.
Barack Obama refused to veto a Security Council resolution condemning settlement construction in the West Bank and east Jerusalem. The resolution effectively turns over the Old City to Palestinian groups.
The Palestinians are led by Hamas terrorists in Gaza and Fatah Islamists in the West Bank. Obama thought this was a good move. And Obama was behind the disgusting anti-Israeli resolution.
Jewish leaders were very upset with the move.

After Pledging to Release His Taxes a Month Ago, Sanders Still Has Yet to Do So
During a CNN town hall on Feb. 25, Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) said that he would release his taxes "sooner than later." Over a month later, Sanders has yet to release them.
CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer asked the senator when he would release his tax returns. Sanders responded that he would but didn't specify a date.
Blitzer pressed him as to why there has been a delay.
"Well, you know, the delay is not—our tax returns will bore you to death," Sanders said. "It was—nothing's special about them. It just was a mechanical issue. We don't have accountants at home. My wife does most of it. We will get that stuff out."
"So, when do you think we will see your tax returns?" Blitzer asked.

Teen who admitted to shoving her friend off Washington bridge will spend 2 days in jail and serve 38 days on a work crew
A judge granted a Washington state mother's request to lock up a young woman, who admitted to shoving her daughter off a 60-foot bridge, for "as many days in jail as her daughter" spent in the hospital.
Tay'Lor Smith was expected to walk out of court on Wednesday to begin a promised plea bargain of 60 days of electronic home confinement, 30 days of community work crew and 30 days of community service. Instead, Genelle Holgerson, the mother of Jordan Holgerson, asked the judge "to force" Smith to "spend as many days in jail" as her daughter spent confined to a hospital bed, while recovering from the incident.
In a surprise turn of events, the judge went against the planned plea agreement and sent Smith to jail for 48 hours.

Dick’s Sporting Goods reports $150 million in lost sales after halting assault-weapons sales
Dick’s Sporting Goods’ bottom line took a very big hit after halting the sale of assault-style weapons in response to the Parkland school massacre.
The policy change cost the nation’s largest sporting goods retailer about $150 million in lost sales, about 1.7 percent of annual revenue, Bloomberg News reported Friday.
But boss Ed Stack isn’t complaining.
“The system does not work,” Stack said, according to the news outlet. “It’s important that when you know there’s something that’s not working, and it’s to the detriment of the public, you have to stand up.”

Some Idiot Judge Set Bond For An Illegal Alien Drug Lord At $200 And The Punk Promptly Escaped
A short fortune teller was recently arrested and broke free from jail, leaving the newspapers to run with the headline "Small Medium At Large," but it didn't a psychic to predict something similar would happen after a Michigan Judge gave an illegal alien drug dealer a $200.00 bond which made it possible for the criminal to run away from authorities and avoid his court appearance despite a litany of offenses.
According to The Detroit News, "Jose Antonio Lopez, 24, is wanted by police after he skipped a March 12 probable cause hearing in 36th District Court, following his March 2 arraignment in 34th District Court in Romulus. He had confessed to the crime, police said."
Lopez pled guilty to "trying to smuggle more than 6 kilos of cocaine and heroin into Detroit" But, "despite the confession, the severity of the charges and Lopez's status as a non-U.S. resident, visiting magistrate Vesta Swenson set bond at $2,000/10 percent. The defendant posted the $200 needed to get out of jail and fled."

WAYNE ALLYN ROOT: It’s time to Turn the Hunters into the Hunted
I wrote the bestselling business book, “The Power of Relentless” four years ago. After a lifetime of studying business leaders, I concluded that being “relentless” is the number one trait that leads to success. And I named Donald J. Trump as the most relentless human being in modern history. Soon after, Trump was elected president- against all odds.
Don’t look now, but President Trump is proving it all over again. As I write this column, we’ve just experienced the greatest week in the history of the relentless Donald J. Trump.
First, of course, President Trump was exonerated and vindicated after the most corrupt hoax in the history of US politics. There never was “Russian Collusion.” Even Robert Mueller- a Trump hater, with a team of vicious Democrat-donor prosecutors- had to admit that. And as brilliant Attorney General William Barr explained, without “collusion” there can’t be obstruction of justice.
Trump wins- again. That’s relentless!

Former CIA Director John Brennan Met with House Democrats This Week — On Same Day Rand Paul Accused Him of Major Role in Russia Conspiracy
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) announced Wednesday that according to a high level source, former CIA Chief John Brennan insisted Hillary’s fake Russia dossier be included in the Intelligence Report.
Brennan previously denied that the fake dossier was used in the Intelligence community’s assessment of Russian interference in the 2016 election.
There is plenty of evidence to the contrary and on Wednesday Senator Rand Paul said Brennan should be asked to testify under oath in Congress ASAP.

Mo Brooks: Illegal Alien-Flooded States Diluting Votes of Red States
llegal immigration is draining red states like Alabama — with a small illegal alien population — of their congressional representation, Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) says.
During testimony at a House Oversight and Reform Committee this week, Brooks said asking United States residents on the upcoming 2020 Census is necessary to know the number of illegal aliens living in the country and to ensure that congressional districts are drawn based on the number of American citizens, rather than entire populations, including citizens, noncitizens, and illegal aliens.
“I submit the inclusion of the citizenship question on the next census is not only common sense, it is a Constitutionally required,” Brooks said.

The Nuclear Option: New York Times, Washington Post Lose Russian Roulette
In the wake of the journalistic catastrophe exposed by the Mueller report, it is important that we record as many of the lies that we can and shine a bright light on the most dishonest goats in the media over the past two years.
No publications deserve more contempt and ridicule than The New York Times and The Washington Post. Both were once serious newspapers dedicated to ferreting out the truth and holding accountable those in power.
Sure, they have always suffered from metropolitan biases, but they also always aimed for the truth. They were nobody’s stooges — at least openly. No more. Both newspapers are now entirely dedicated to blindly advancing a crazy political agenda and, we now know, are more than willing to lie and shade to push their twisted information on readers.

Nigerian brothers' lawyer says they were blindsided by Jussie Smollett decision
The lawyer for the Nigerian brothers caught up in the Jussie Smollett scandal said on Thursday that it was 'atrocious' and 'offensive' for his team to say they were wearing whiteface when they attacked him as she doubled down on their claims that the whole thing was a publicity stunt orchestrated by the Empire actor.
Gloria Schmidt appeared on CNN on Thursday night as the fallout surrounding the case gathered pace and prosecutors faced tough questions over their decision to let Smollett go scot-free.
She revealed that she was just as stunned by the decision as the rest of the world and had been in touch with the State's Attorney's office days beforehand to arrange the brothers' appearances as witnesses at the trial.
Schmidt also slammed Smollett's lawyer Tina Glandian for saying that the brothers could have been wearing whiteface when they attacked him.

Rahm Emanuel Blames ‘Toxic’ Trump for Jussie Smollett Hate Hoax
Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel blamed President Donald Trump in a press conference Thursday for the alleged hate hoax carried out by Empire Jussie Smollett, claiming that the president created a “toxic” and “vicious” cycle for which the star thought he could get away with the purportedly staged attack on himself.
“Look, I’ve always said from day one this is a Trump-free zone, the city of Chicago, and I mean it,” Emanuel told reporters. “Let me be really clear about something: The only reason Jussie Smollett thought he could take advantage of a hoax about a hate crime is for the environment, the toxic environment Donald Trump created.”
“This is a president who drew a moral equivalency between people who are trying to perpetuate bigotry and those who are trying to fight bigotry,” the mayor continued. “As somebody who started his own journey in politics fighting the neo-Nazis in Skokie and Marquette Park, President Trump should literally take his politics, move it aside.”

Democratic effort to subvert the Electoral College plows into immovable GOP wall
An effort led by Democrats to scrap or bypass the Electoral College and shift presidential elections to contests decided by the national popular vote has almost no chance of succeeding, guaranteeing Democrats will again have to defeat Trump in the Electoral College they lost in 2016 while winning more votes nationally.
The Electoral College places the power to elect presidents in the hands of individual states and is enshrined in the Constitution.
The hurdles to amend the Constitution and move to the national popular vote are steep. So the bipartisan National Popular Vote interstate compact seeks to subvert this constitutional shield by convincing states to throw their electoral votes to the winner of the national popular vote, regardless of which candidate wins their state. Compact supporters believe this doesn't require amending the Constitution, but that notion would be challenged in the courts.

Judge Blocks California's High-Capacity Ammunition Ban
High-capacity gun magazines will remain legal in California under a ruling Friday by a federal judge who cited home invasions where a woman used the extra bullets in her weapon to kill an attacker while in two other cases women without additional ammunition ran out of bullets.
"Individual liberty and freedom are not outmoded concepts," San Diego-based U.S. District Judge Roger Benitez wrote as he declared unconstitutional the law that would have banned possessing any magazines holding more than 10 bullets.
California law has prohibited buying or selling such magazines since 2000, but those who had them before then were allowed to keep them.

White People’s Eating Habits Hurting the Environment, Academia Claims
A report published in the Journal of Industrial Ecology claims that white people’s eating habits are contributing more to climate change than their black and Latino counterparts.
Report authors concluded, using data on food production — use of water, land, production, and distribution — that white people’s diet causes more greenhouse gas emissions.
“Potatoes, beef, apples, and milk are some of the worst offenders,” the New York Postreported.
“The food pipeline — which includes its production, distribution, and waste — contributes significantly to climate change through the production of greenhouse gases and requires significant amounts of water and land, which also has environmental effects,” Joe Bozeman, a student at the University of Illinois who helped produce the report, said.

Administrators at one West Virginia middle school have introduced a new disciplinary alternative to traditional suspension that they believe could be more effective in reforming troubled students.
At Huntington East Middle School, non-violent, non-verbally abusive behavior is handled by offering parents the option of a “reverse suspension."
In a reverse suspension, instead of sending a child home, the student's parent is invited to come to school and spend the entire day by his side.
"When we started combining schools we had a lot of kids getting in trouble and getting suspended," school parent partner Stephanie Powell told WOWK-TV.

The Georgia House gave final approval Friday to a "fetal heartbeat" abortion ban outlawing almost all abortions in the state -- bucking intense opposition from abortion rights groups, citizens and doctors.
A heartbeat can be detected in an embryo as early as six weeks, before many women know they are pregnant. Women in Georgia can currently seek an abortion during the first 20 weeks of a pregnancy.
The ultimate goal is to get a case in front of the U.S. Supreme Court to challenge its 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling that legalized abortion nationwide.
The bill, House Bill 481, now goes to Republican Gov. Brian Kemp, who supports it. In a statement Friday he thanked the lawmakers "for their leadership" and applauded "their undeniable courage."

TEXAS AG KEN PAXTON OFFICIALLY LAUNCHES INVESTIGATION INTO CHICK-FIL-A BAN
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced on Thursday that he will be launching an investigation into San Antonio city councilmen after they banned Chick-fil-A from the San Antonio International Airport over “anti-LGBTQ behavior.”
“I have directed my office to open an investigation into whether the City’s action violates state law,” Paxton said in a letter to San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg and the city council.
Paxton also penned a letter to Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao urging for a federal investigation to be opened, according to documents obtained by KEN5. The city of San Antonio may have violated federal law and Transportation Department regulations by denying a contract to Chick-fil-A on religious grounds after voting to remove the franchise from a new airport concession contract.
The city council passed a motion on March 21 to approve the Food, Beverage and Retail Prime Concession Agreement with Paradies Lagardère for the airport with the condition that Chick-fil-A be excluded from the agreement.

Let The Landscaping Begin
It's getting to be that time when all the tropical plants and palm trees come in at Caribbean Joe's. The pool is getting sand blasted and a new finish will get applied. It's about time we are able to enjoy the warmer weather! If you're interested, I made a fresh batch of pulled pork that will be ready by noon time today.
Maryland schools can once again open before Labor Day following veto override
Maryland’s House of Delegates voted to override Gov. Larry Hogan’s veto of a school calendar bill that lets school districts set their own school calendar.
The Friday morning vote in Annapolis came one day after the Senate took similar action, and it effectively strikes down the governor’s 2016 executive order that required public schools to delay opening until after the Labor Day holiday and wrap up classes by June 15.
The vote took place as Hogan spoke to reporters along with members of Maryland’s congressional delegation.
Hogan was asked about the override vote.

#MeToo: Woman claims Joe Biden kissed her without consent in 2014
A former Nevada politician has accused former Vice President Joe Biden of kissing her without her consent backstage at a campaign rally in 2014.
Lucy Flores, 39, a former assemblywoman in Nevada, wrote in The Cut that the incident took place when she was running for lieutenant governor and she "felt two hands on my shoulders."
Flores recounts: "I felt him get closer to me from behind. He leaned further in and inhaled my hair," Flores writes. "I was mortified. I thought to myself, 'I didn’t wash my hair today and the vice-president of the United States is smelling it. And also, what in the actual f&ck? Why is the vice-president of the United States smelling my hair?' He proceeded to plant a big slow kiss on the back of my head."

Barbara Bush was so devastated and humiliated over George's affair with aide she considered suicide
Former First Lady and family matriarch Barbara Bush was once described as 'a silver-haired pearl draped howitzer'.
But a combination of blows in her life in the mid-seventies sent her spiraling into a depression that almost led to her taking her own life.
Among the causes of her despair was a woman who would stay by her husband George's side for more than 12 years.
Her name was Jennifer Fitzgerald and she was his aide – and according to some, his mistress, reveals Susan Page, author of The Matriarch: Barbara Bush and the Making of an American Dynasty out next Tuesday.
Returning from a post in Beijing, China as chief of the US Liaison Office under President Gerald Ford, Barbara recalled the dizzying year as the best of times.

New York City to give additional $1.6 million to city attorneys to defend immigrants slated for deportation
Calling it a defensive fund against President Trump’s immigration policies, New York City officials plan to put an extra $1.6 million toward public defenders representing immigrants slated for deportation, according to the New York Daily News.
The move to bolster the funding arose from a deal between New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and Council Speaker Corey Johnson.
Attorneys and immigrant rights groups had pushed for money, saying that courts were rushing decisions on deportation and that immigrants were at a disadvantage if they did not have the help of an attorney.

"My Son's History Teacher Taught Him That The Electoral College Should Be Abolished"
During my son’s junior year of high school, he was taught by his U.S. history teacher that the electoral college is unfair and should be abolished.
How do I know? My husband and I had made a habit out of asking him what he learned in school each day over dinner.
And so over a plate of chicken enchiladas, our then-16-year-old son told us about how his public school teacher had bemoaned and decried the electoral college as an outdated and unjust system that subverts the will of the people.
Needless to say, we quickly explained to him how the electoral college is the best presidential voting method for our republic, as it helps protect states’ rights, ensures checks and balances, and defends against tyrannical majorities.
But my point here isn’t to cheer the electoral college, it’s to warn parents that the indoctrination starts in high school.

Chattering Parrot Ocasio-Cortez Thinks Her Green Deal from Hell Can Fix the Flint Water Crisis and Midwest Flooding
NOT ONE SINGLE Democrat voted in support of the Green New Deal Tuesday in the US Senate.
The final vote was 0-57 with 43 cowardly Democrats voting “present.”
They didn’t have the guts to support the monstrosity that would destroy the entire US economy in less than 10 years!
This caused Ocasio-Cortez to suffer a major meltdown.
The unhinged New York Socialist lashed out at Republicans and blamed them for hurricanes and water cleaning system.
