Sessions Names Prosecutor To Investigate FBI Misconduct Claims

Attorney General Jeff Sessions revealed Thursday that John Huber - Utah's top federal prosecutor, will be paired with DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz to investigate a multitude of accusations of FBI misconduct surrounding the 2016 U.S. presidential election. The announcement comes one day after Inspector General Michael Horowitz confirmed that he will be investigating allegations of FBI FISA abuse.

Sessions' decision stops short of formally appointing a special counsel to investigate - noting in a lengthy letter written to Chairmen Grassley, Goodlatte and Gowdy, Sessions that regulations recognize "the Attorney General may conclude that the circumstances do not justify such a departure "from the normal process of the department," and that he may instead determine that other "appropriate steps" can be taken..."

University students in Georgia forced to confess their white privilege

Georgia lawmakers are investigating what they call systematic bias against conservative and Christian students at Kennesaw State University.

“They are threatened. They are retaliated against all because of their viewpoint,” State. Rep. Earl Ehrhart said Wednesday on the Todd Starnes Radio Show.

The taxpayer-funded university is already facing two federal lawsuits alleging bias against conservatives.

“It’s a scary thing on campuses today,” the state lawmaker told Starnes.

He went on to say that some students were forced “as a condition of their grades to confess their white privilege in a video.”

Donald Jr. And Eric Trump Tweet Jeb Bush

Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump tag teamed former Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush on Twitter late Wednesday night.

Bush took a swipe at President Trump in a Tuesday speech at Yale by implying that the first children don’t love their father.

Trump’s adult sons clearly took issue with Jeb’s joke.

“I actually love my father very much,” Eric tweeted before bringing up one of Bush’s most embarrassing moments from the campaign.

Captain Black Sam, world’s richest pirate's remains and grave possibly discovered

The world’s richest pirate, Captain “ Black Sam ” Bellamy may have eluded capture in life, but efforts to bring him in are still underway – for science, if not justice.

He was one of the most notorious pirates of “the seven seas.” During the 18th century, the “Golden Age” of piracy, his seafaring robberies led him to become the richest pirate ever known, accumulating a wealth equivalent of $120 million in today’s money.

His ship, the Whydah Gally, held more than four and a half tonnes of gold and silver when it was captured in 1717.

It later sank off coast of Cape Cod the same year.

“Over 100 pirates washed ashore on Cape Cod [after the wreck], and our team believe that we have located it,” Casey Sherman, author and filmmaker who partnered with the research team, told The Telegraff “It’s very hallowed ground…Almost every day we’re learning more about what happened 300 years ago.”

The Inflationary "Needle" Just Touched the Everything Bubble

The Fed is lying about inflation.

How do I know?

Because several of the Fed’s OWN in-house inflation measures are roaring.
The New York Fed’s UIG inflation measure is currently clocking in at 3.06%.
The Atlanta Fed’s “sticky” inflation measure is growing at an annualized rate of 2.2%.
Even the Fed’s heavily massagedPersonal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) metric is growing at 1.8% on an annualized basis, only slightly below the Fed’s so-called target rate of 2%.

So when I read that “inflation is subdued”or isn’t “rising fast enough”to warrant concern, I know the Fed officials claiming this aren’t even bothering to look at the Fed’s own data.

Even if you don’t believe the Fed’s data, the $199 TRILLION Bond Market is SCREAMING inflation.

The yield on the all-important 10-Year US Treasury has made a confirmed break above its long-term downtrend.

Rep. Debbie Dingell to Introduce Gun Confiscation Legislation

Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) used an April 2 Fox News Liveappearance to announce that she is preparing to introduce legislation to create a federal law allowing firearm confiscation orders.

Such laws, generally referred to as Extreme Risk Protection Orders, are already in place in California, Indiana, Oregon, and other states, and Dingell believes the ability to seize firearms is crucial for pubic safety.

During live broadcast Dingell said, “Rep. Fred Upton (R) and I are looking at introducing … legislation … at the national level.” She added, “I grew up in a home where a man shouldn’t have had access to a gun, and I remember some very frightening moments, and there was ability to deal with it. A family who knows that someone in their family could be a danger to themselves or to others needs to have tool that they can take that gun away.”

Dingell stressed that seizure of firearms must occur in a way that protects due process, but she did not explain how such protection is possible. In California an order to take guns can be issued without the gun owner even knowing. And in Indiana, the state on which Dingell is basing her federal legislation, individuals who have their guns seized have approximately 14 days to go to court to “make a case” to get them back.

French Overwhelmingly Back Deporting Terror Suspects, Banning Radical Islam

A significant majority of French now support banning the radical Salafist sect of Islam, and the government reinstating the national state of emergency, as the nation reels from another deadly radical Islamic terror attack in March.

The new poll taken days after four were killed by a self-proclaimed member of the Islamic State killed four in southern France found the French public overwhelmingly backing a significant crackdown on radical Islam and deportations that could impact tens of thousands of people.

Perhaps most significantly, 88 per cent of French said they supported banning the rapidly expanding, radical Salafist sect of Islam, even though over half of respondents said they acknowledged that implementing the ban in France would be difficult, if not impossible.

Comey's book tour is a colossal mistake

Announcements of scheduled appearances for the widely anticipated $850-to-attend book tour by fired FBI Director James Comey foreshadow a much-ballyhooed return to the public square. Media outlets eagerly booked the former director, and his opus, “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership,” briefly jumped to No. 1 on Amazon’s best-seller list.

But should Comey — a central witness in special counsel Robert Muellerprobe — be making public his version of events which will certainly differ significantly with what President Trump, the central target in the special prosecutor’s probe, has repeatedly stated?

Comey was humiliatingly removed by the president last May and enjoyed a brief period of bipartisan sympathy for the disgraceful manner in which he was dispatched. The FBI’s seventh director learned of his termination via televised news reports while appearing before an FBI audience in Los Angeles. This is not the manner with which career public servants should ever be separated from service. Yet, with the current president, it has become de rigueur.

Initially taking the high road, remaining silent, professional and above the fray, Comey has now resorted to directly confronting the president at his own game. He shed his original anonymous Twitter nom de plume, “Reinhold Niebuhr,” and directly waded in to criticize and taunt his tormentor. In the immediate wake of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s firing and Trump’s Twitter gloating, Comey ominously warned, “Mr. President, the American people will hear my story very soon. And they can judge for themselves who is honorable and who is not.”

And, just like that, Comey conceded the tiny sliver of moral high ground he precariously clung to and reduced his position as an advocate of the pursuit of facts into a narcissistic quest to sell books. He unwittingly joined Trump in the pig-wallow that currently serves as civil discourse.

At least four people were injured, one of them critically, in a shooting at YouTube’s headquarters in San Bruno, Calif., on Tuesday afternoon, the police said. The shooter, who the police said was a woman, died from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Brent Andrew, a spokesman for San Francisco General Hospital, said at a news conference that the hospital had received three patients: a 36-year-old man in critical condition, a 32-year-old woman in serious condition and a 27-year-old woman in fair condition. The condition of the fourth victim, and what hospital he or she was at, was not clear.

‘Enough is enough’: Some local homeowners say this year’s property-tax increase will force them to move

The Seattle Times has collected hundreds of reader responses to the tax hike. Many who said they’re retired or disabled, and living on fixed incomes, offered emotional stories of being unable to afford the heftier rate.

Dennis Hall imagined living his whole life in the country-style home he and his wife built in Kirkland for $55,000 in 1980.

But the couple, now retirees on a fixed income, say the latest tax bill for their property — valued at $1.2 million — is forcing them to rethink their golden years, sell the beloved home and move.

“This year was the breaking point. Enough is enough,” said Hall, 65, thinking about the big tax increase, a reflection of skyrocketing home values, voter-approved levies and a plan by state lawmakers to fully fund public schools. “We were hoping on dying here.”

With this round of property-tax notices, the couple are not alone in their worries. As the effects of the higher rates spread statewide, some homeowners are calling the tax increase a tipping point in a period of financial stress that’s forcing too-soon goodbyes to longtime homes.

Over the course of weeks, The Seattle Times collected hundreds of emails, phone calls and responses on social media from people like Hall, many of whom identified as retired or disabled, saying they have limited options for paying the heftier amounts.

“Should anything happen to me like an illness or injury, I will be homeless pretty quick,” wrote a 61-year-old homeowner in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood.

“There is no way I can make it; have to sell our home,” another person said in a voicemail. “I don’t know what to say or do.”

The property-tax increases vary greatly from city to city.

NBC Celebrates Teacher Who ‘Groomed’ Anti-Gun Parkland Students

In other words, a generation of kids that are willing to give up their own rights and expect the rest of the country to do so as well.

Eco-Friendly Kitchen: Dishwasher or Hand Washing?

Dishwashers Use Less Energy, Water, and Soap Than Hand Washing

Dishwashers are the way to go if you comply with two simple criteria: "Run a dishwasher only when it’s full, and don’t rinse your dishes before putting them in the dishwasher," says John Morril, of the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy, who also advises against using the dry cycle. The water used in most dishwashers is hot enough, he says, to evaporate quickly if the door is left open after the wash and rinse cycles are complete.

Dishwashers More Efficient Than Hand Washing

Scientists at the University of Bonn in Germany who studied the issue found that the dishwasher uses only half the energy, one-sixth of the water, and less soap than hand-washing an identical set of dirty dishes. Even the most sparing and careful washers could not beat the modern dishwasher. The study also found that dishwashers excelled in cleanliness over hand washing.

Most dishwashers manufactured since 1994 use seven to 10 gallons of water per cycle, while older machines use eight to 15 gallons. Newer designs have also improved dishwasher efficiency immensely. Hot water can now be heated in the dishwasher itself, not in the household hot water heater, where heat gets lost in transit. Dishwashers also heat only as much water as needed. A standard 24-inch-wide household dishwasher is designed to hold eight place settings, but some newer models will wash the same amount of dishes inside an 18-inch frame, using less water in the process.

If you have an older, less-efficient machine, the Council recommends hand washing for the smaller jobs and saving the dishwasher for the dinner party’s aftermath.

Elizabeth Esty won't run for re-election after sheltering abusive staffer

Rep. Elizabeth Esty, D-Conn., announced Monday that she will not run for re-election in November after she kept a top aide on staff for three months after learning he was accused of punching a female aide and then threatened to kill her.

"It is one of the greatest honors of my life that the people of Connecticut’s Fifth District elected me to represent them in Congress," Esty said in a statement. "However, I have determined that it is in the best interest of my constituents and my family to end my time in Congress at the end of this year and not seek re-election."

"Too many women have been harmed by harassment in the workplace. In the terrible situation in my office, I could have and should have done better," Esty said. "To the survivor, I want to express my strongest apology for letting you down. In Congress, and workplaces across the country, we need stronger workplace protections and to provide employees with a platform to raise concerns, address problems, and work to reduce and eliminate such occurrences, in the first place."

Sen. Tim Scott: Porous Border 'Is Certainly A National Security Issue'

Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.), a member of the Armed Services Committee, said without an act of Congress, President Trump cannot use military funding to pay for his border wall, as Trump suggested he might do.

"I think it would take an act of Congress to make sure that we prioritize and appropriate the dollars for that objective," Scott told CBS's "Face the Nation" on Sunday.

"The reality of it is, as commander in chief, he can certainly send signals through (Defense) Secretary Mattis, have a conversation with Congress about where those dollars should be spent. The good news is, we're spending. We're providing more money to the military than we have in a very long time, more than a decade," Scott said.

"The unfortunate reality is that the priorities of the DOD have already been set. However, our southern border is very porous. The truth is that more folks came through our southern border that did not come from Mexico. It is certainly a national security issue."

Scott said it's more appropriate for the Homeland Security Department, rather than the Defense Department, to "find the resources" to build Trump's long-promised wall.

Breaking News: "We're going to be guarding our border with the military." President Trump said he'd take a "big step" while seeking "a wall and proper security."

President Trump said that he planned to order the military to guard parts of the southern border until he can build a wall and tighten immigration restrictions, proposing a remarkable escalation of his efforts to crack down on migrants entering the country illegally.

Mr. Trump, who has been stewing publicly for days about what he characterizes as lax immigration laws and the potential for an influx of Central American migrants to stream into the United States, said he had been discussing with Jim Mattis, the secretary of defense, about resorting to military deployments.

New Quotas for Immigration Judges as Administration Seeks Faster Deportations

The Justice Department has notified immigration judges that it will begin evaluating their job performance based on how quickly they close cases, aiming to speed deportation decisions and reduce a lengthy backlog.

The new quotas for judges to meet—laid out in a memo sent Friday to immigration judges—follow other directives by the department to expedite handling of cases. Attorney General Jeff Sessions has said that the backlog at the immigration courts allows people who should be deported to linger inside the U.S.

The union representing immigration judges counters that the metrics are a threat to their judicial independence, while lawyers warn they will unduly influence judge’s decisions.

State Sets Massive Precedent, Makes Big Pharma Pay to Fix Opioid Crisis THEY CAUSED

Arkansas has become the latest state to hold Big Pharma accountable for its role in the country’s ongoing opioid crisis, but unlike the other states that have filed lawsuits against major pharmaceutical companies, Arkansas is demanding compensation for solutions to end the epidemic.

The lawsuit, which named 52 opioid manufacturers and 13 distributors, physicians, pharmacists and retailers, argues that the pharmaceutical companies “falsely touted the benefits of long-term opioid use, including the supposed ability of opioids to improve function and quality of life,” despite research from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which stated that “there is ‘no good evidence’ supporting these claims.”

“Each Defendant spent, and some continue to spend, millions of dollars on promotional activities and materials that falsely deny or trivialize the risks of opioids while overstating the benefits of using them to treat chronic pain. As to the risks, Defendants falsely and misleadingly, and sometimes contrary to the language of their drugs’ labels: downplayed the serious risk of addiction; promoted the concept of “pseudo-addiction” and thus advocated that the signs of addiction should be treated with more opioids.”

The lawsuit highlighted the damage the opioid epidemic has caused in the state of Arkansas, noting that when individuals become addicted to opioids, the addiction affects every aspect of their lives and often results in “job loss, loss of custody of children, physical and mental health problems, homelessness, and incarceration.”

Big Pharma’s efforts to convince doctors to prescribe opioids like candy have worked extremely well. As the lawsuit stated, opioids are now the most prescribed class of drugs, generating $11 billion in revenue for drug companies in 2014 alone.

“As opioid prescribing has skyrocketed in Arkansas, so too have overdose deaths. Today, prescription opioids are the leading cause of drug-related death in Arkansas, and by a wide margin. Arkansas also has seen a dramatic surge in hospital and in-patient admissions linked to opioid abuse. Alarmingly, and in keeping with a pattern seen across the nation, many Arkansans addicted to prescription opioids are now turning to heroin because it supplies a similar high at a fraction of the street cost of prescription opioids.”

What's causing Baltimore's population loss? It's no mystery

With the U.S. Census Bureau reporting yet another year of population loss for the city, it doesn’t take an investigator to determine the causes.

The city’s scary record of 343 homicides in 2017 affirms the city’s well-known reputation as a dangerous place to live. Even if 2018 has fewer homicides, it doesn’t take a fortune teller to predict that this year’s homicide rate will be high. Until the city substantially reduces its homicide and other crimes rates, people will continue to view the city as dangerous and be reluctant to stay or move here.

The city’s outrageous property tax of $2.248 per $100 of a property’s assessed value is more than double of its surrounding jurisdictions: Baltimore County, $1.10, and Anne Arundel 90.7 cents. The city’s burdensome property tax on homeowners explains why the city has more renters than homeowners. The city’s high income tax is 3.2 percent, the maximum allowed by law. Baltimore County’s is 2.83 and Anna Arundel’s is 2.56. The city’s tax message is clear: Move here and pay higher taxes. People have figured out how to avoid the city’s taxes and still enjoy the city. They live in surrounding counties and take reasonably priced ridesharing services into the city.

Teacher Fails Entire Class: Wise Move

This explains why Socialism won't work, and always fails.

Is this man a genius?

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.

The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on this plan". All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an A.... (substituting grades for dollars - something closer to home and more readily understood by all).

After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.

The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.

As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.

To their great surprise, ALL FAILED and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.

These are possibly the 5 best sentences you'll ever read and all applicable to this experiment:

1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!

5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

44 Dems, Including Wasserman Schultz, Exempted Pakistani IT Aides From Background Checks

Every one of the 44 House Democrats who hired Pakistan-born IT aides who later allegedly made “unauthorized access” to congressional data appears to have chosen to exempt them from background checks, according to congressional documents.

All of them appear to have waived background checks on Imran Awan and his family members, even though the family of server administrators could collectively read all the emails and files of 1 in 5 House Democrats, and despite background checks being recommended for such positions, according to an inspector general’s report. The House security policy requires offices to fill out a form attesting that they’ve initiated background checks, but it also includes a loophole allowing them to simply say that another member vouched for them.

Mississippi Congregation Votes 175-6 To Leave ‘United Methodist Church’; Rev. Cites Increasing ‘Non-Biblical Worldview’

On March 25, the First United Methodist Church of Louisville, Mississippi voted 175-6 to leave the “United Methodist” organization. Going forward, they hope to be known simply as the First Methodist Church of Louisville.

Rev. Mike Childs told The Daily Wire that the departure has “really been a long time coming.” Specifically, Childs feels the United Methodist Church (UMC) has failed to correct major failings in the organization, such as the election of a lesbian bishop — something both anti-scriptural and against the rules of the United Methodist Book of Discipline.

Our church Book of Discipline, our church law says that the practice of homosexuality is incompatible with Christian teaching, yet we have a gay bishop, and a whole jurisdiction of our church in the United States — the Western Jurisdiction — that will not enforce that.

Although the refusal in some Methodist circles to follow biblical teachings on sexuality troubles Childs, there are other issues he finds even more serious, including prominent Bishop Karen Oliveto allegedly denying the deity of Christ, “calling us not to make Jesus an idol,” and Bishop Joseph Sprague, who has retired but apparently retains a voting seat on the Council of Bishops, “denying the incarnation and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

As far as the legal separation from the United Methodist Church, Childs noted that his congregation isn’t the first in Mississippi to leave. He added that they’ve been operating under a certain framework, bringing in a CPA to “do an audit of the church,” as well as getting the church appraised.

Marjory Stoneman Douglas Teacher Says Many Students Feel They Are Misrepresented By Famous Classmates

America knows Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students through mainly a handful of pro-gun control activist students, but according to a faculty member of the school where the deadly shooting took place, many other students say the most visible activists do not represent them.

“I’ve had some students approach me privately to talk to me about it, but I should note that those student activists none of them were ever in any danger during this whole thing…none of them except for the one girl Samantha Fuentes,” the faculty member said, on the condition of anonymity, during an interview with NRATV that aired Friday on Dana Loesch’s “Relentless” program.

The Stoneman Douglas staffer continued, “But I have students in my class that were shot, but you don’t see them. They have the most personal experience of anyone except for that one girl.”

Stoneman Douglas students David Hogg, Emma Gonzales, and Cameron Kasky have been notable media representatives of their school and spoke at the “March for Our Lives” protest in Washington D.C. last Saturday, advocating for gun control policies.

DNC Black Caucus Chair: ‘I’m a Former Black Panther’

The Democratic National Committee’s Black Caucus chairwoman Virgie Rollins said Saturday that she used to be a member of the Black Panther Party.

DNC vice chairman Keith Ellison was listening and appeared to notice the Republican tracker who was secretly taping the conversation. About a minute after Rollins first mentioned the Black Panthers, Ellison seems to look directly at the tracker and began whispering with someone next to him, but before the video cut off, it captured Rollins’ comments.

"I’m a former Black Panther," Rollins said. "And when we talked about the movement, as a former Black Panther with Angela Davis and Kathleen Cleaver, it was important for us to make people understand that it was about the movement for us, educating us."

She touted the group’s community work, including teaching and helping to feed the poor. She also invoked Martin Luther King, Jr., even though the civil rights leader took issue with the Black Panthers’ movement.

"Mass incarceration did not just happen in Republican hands," she said, adding a range of other issues including police brutality and charter schools.

"We’ve got to be out here in masses in the midterms if we want to change this country because it’s all about changing the Congress now," she said.

"They [Democrats] cannot win without black folks and women, so it’s up to us," she added.

‘Chappaquiddick’ Is A Brutally Honest Movie Laying Bare The Kennedys For Who They Really Were

Conservatives’ expectations for honest and fair movies coming out of Hollywood are understandably low. For decades now we have been brow-beaten and lectured by clueless celebrities on everything from saving the Spotted Owl to gun control – the latest flavor of the moment.

But a breath of fresh air is blowing in from the left coast. The new movie ‘Chappaquiddick,’ from Entertainment Studios and Apex Entertainment, is a brutally honest recounting of one of America’s greatest public tragedies: the death of Mary Jo Kopechne in a car owned and driven by Senator Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.)

Producer Mark Ciardi has a winner, and perhaps it’s his record of brilliantly telling true sports stories (Invincible, The Rookie, Miracle, and Secretariat) that so influenced a talented group of director and actors – liberals all – to buy into a straight-up, no spin or bias, telling of this story. As one might expect, longtime Ted Kennedy senior aide and speechwriter Bob Shrum, trashed the movie (likely without even seeing it) as “a disservice both to the victim and the truth.” On the contrary, the movie is a revelation of truth exposing the decades-long cover-up that Shrum, and other defenders of the Kennedy faith, have long perpetuated.

Debunking Hillary Clinton’s 17 Intelligence Agencies Claim Once And For All [VIDEO]

Hillary Clinton proffered the idea that 17 intelligence agencies all agreed that Russia had meddled in the 2016 election to ensure she wasn’t elected, but it’s not true.

Clinton’s claim references the 2017 National Intelligence report that claimed with “high confidence” that Russia had meddled in the election. There’s only one problem: The report was compiled by three agencies, not 17. Only the CIA, FBI, and NSA worked to compile the report. The Daily Caller News Foundation fact checked this claim nine months ago, but the mainstream media has continued pushing it.

Most recently, CNN’s Jim Sciutto made the claim in mid February. The likely reason they’re so interested in pushing the claim is because 17 intelligence agencies sounds much more impressive and daunting than three or four. There’s no evidence indicating that Russia’s efforts had any effect on the outcome of the election.

It’s James Comey’s Word Against Andrew McCabe’s

An internal FBI report appears to put Andrew McCabe’s word against James Comey’s.

The two fired FBI officials have different recollections about whether McCabe told Comey that he authorized leaks to the media in October 2016 about the Hillary Clinton investigation.

It emerged on Thursday that a report from the FBI’s disciplinary office stated that McCabe lied four separate times, including to Comey, about his role in authorizing a leak to The Wall Street Journal.

Four times he lied. He lied to James Comey. He lied to the Office of Professional Responsibility, and he lied twice under oath to the inspector general,” Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan said on Thursday, shortly after members of his staff viewed a report from the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR).

Trump: ‘NO MORE DACA DEAL’

President Donald Trump said Sunday that he will no longer work with Democrats to hammer out a deal to provide legal status to hundreds of thousands of “dreamers,” illegal aliens who were brought to the U.S. as children.

“NO MORE DACA DEAL!” Trump wrote, referring to Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, the immigration policy that provides legal status to dreamers.

Trump also threatened to exit the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) if Mexico does not start doing more to “stop the big drug and people flows” into the U.S.

Trump offered the pronouncements in a series of immigration-themed tweets Sunday morning and blamed Democrats for stymying Border Patrol agents from apprehending illegal aliens crossing the southern border.

Here’s The Wounded Warrior’s Response To David Hogg That Is Going Viral

Wounded warrior Derek Weida, who lost a leg while deployed in Iraq, posted a poignant rebuttal to Parkland survivor David Hogg’s gun control campaign on Friday.

As of Saturday afternoon, Weida’s post had over 35,000 reactions and over 14,000 shares.

The post was written from the perspective of Weida “listening to David Hogg speak,” and it began with a direct piece of advice for Hogg: “Watch what you say.”

Leftmedia's Deliberate Mis-characterization of Christianity

From National Public Radio to NBC News to CNN, the mainstream media’s ignorant misrepresentation of basic and central Christian beliefs and doctrines would be understandable if it wasn’t for the fact that Christianity is the religion practiced by some 70% of Americans. On Good Friday, NPR published an article that addressed a report that Pope Francis had denied the existence of hell. NPR originally described Easter as “the day celebrating the idea that Jesus did not die and go to hell or purgatory or anywhere at all, but rather arose into heaven.” After receiving much deserved blowback, NPR corrected the piece to read, “Easter — the day Christians celebrate Jesus’ Resurrection.” How could NPR get one of the most foundational beliefs of Christianity so terribly wrong?

Far worse, NBC News marked the sacred occasion with a piece entitled, “On Easter Sunday, Christians must remember how easily and often our faith is used to defend white supremacy.” The article relays a story of a bunch of white southern racists who murdered several blacks and other defenders of Reconstruction one Easter Sunday in 1873 in Colfax County, Louisiana. It is indeed a horrific story, but it is far from emblematic of Christian beliefs or practices. And it was 145 years ago. Ironically, the article does exactly what it condemns — it seeks to co-opt the Christian message, ignoring its central teachings, so as to promote an anti-Donald Trump pro-leftist political cause. The question once again is how did the MSM get the Christian doctrine of Easter this wrong?

But then there was what may have been the worst understanding of Easter — this one from CNN..

This Dentist’s Office Threatens Parents Over Kids’ ‘Dental Neglect’

How sharper than a serpent’s tooth to have a despotic pediatric dentist.

Parents who decide, for whatever reason, that they don’t like their children’s oral care provider should be forewarned. Empowered by government “mandatory reporter” laws, dental offices are now using their authority to threaten families with child abuse charges if they don’t comply with the cavity police.

Mom Trey Hoyumpa shared a letter last week on Facebook from a dental office called Smiles 4 Keeps in Bartonsville, Pennsylvania. It informed her that if she did not make a dental appointment for “regular professional cleanings” for her child, she could be charged with “dental neglect.”

Citing a law called Pennsylvania Act 31 on child abuse recognition and reporting, the dental office threatened to report the mom to state authorities if she did not schedule an appointment.

It’s Time to Remove the Term “Assault Rifle” From Our Vocabulary

When facts are inconvenient, the anti-Second Amendment crowd has been swift and successful at just making stuff up. With the left-leaning Fake News media in tow, anti-gun zealots have many Americans believing that firearm-related deaths outpace car crash fatalities.

The term “assault rifle” qualifies as one of the gun-hating lobby’s false and misleading terms that has infected a national debate on appropriate and responsible firearm ownership. The term has an air of danger and aggressiveness that makes uniformed people afraid. That’s exactly the point.

By taking a factual look at what “would” constitute an “assault rifle,” if such a thing existed, and the reality about the firearms, it’s easy to see that anyone who believes they are a greater danger than a revolver has been thoroughly duped.

What Does “Assault Rifle” Really Mean?
