Obama Shares Thoughts On Charlottesville – Makes It All About Himself

Since the violence erupted in Charlottesville, Virginia, there has been no shortage of politicians and public figures weighing in to condemn it — and rightly so. But while some people focused on those who were injured and killed, our former president made it all about himself.

Barack Obama responded to the Charlottesville violence with a tweet expressing hope for an end to racial division. He sent out a string of tweets quoting Nelson Mandela, writing, “No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love. For love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”

WORCESTER COUNTY OFFERS FREE “UNTIL HELP ARRIVES” WORKSHOP

Traumatic incidents can occur anytime, anywhere, and those who can help until emergency responders arrive could save lives. Worcester County Emergency Services (WCES) and Worcester County Volunteer Connection invite residents and visitors to attend “Until Help Arrives.” This free, three-hour Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) workshop will be offered twice, September 7 and 18, from 1–4 p.m. at the Ocean Pines Branch Library. Participants will acquire the basic skills needed to provide help after an emergency until help arrives.

“Recent tornadoes in Queen Anne’s County and Wicomico County point out that events like this can happen anytime” WCES Director Fred Webster said. “Being able to help victims prior to the arrival of emergency personnel can help save lives.”

Experts from the American Red Cross, WCES, Maryland Emergency Management Agency, and other emergency organizations will cover topics that include communicating with 911 operators, positioning the injured, stopping life threatening bleeding, protecting the injured from further harm, and providing emotional support to a victim and his or her family.

“Until Help Arrives” takes place in conjunction with National Preparedness Month in September and is being offered at no cost to the public.

“Our lives can change in seconds,” Worcester County Volunteer Services Manager Kelly Brinkley said. “The person who’s trained and prepared can make all the difference in the life of someone with a life-threatening injury. This workshop is designed for you to walk away with the training and confidence to assist if posed with a life-threatening situation.”

“Area residents are vital resources immediately after an emergency when they can provide life-saving aid until trained emergency personnel arrive,” WCES Emergency Planner Tom Kane said. “So, it’s important to include them in the emergency planning and training process.”

Each participant will receive a certificate of completion. Space in both workshops is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Preregistration is recommended. To register, call WCES at 410-632-3080.

Charlottesville: Fueling Race Riots One of the Left’s Cleverest Tactics

The left has figured out several methods that successfully work to divide the left and the right. One of their cleverest ways is stirring up race wars, because it has the extra benefit of making the right look bad. The playbook goes like this: Spread the word nonstop that Democrats help minorities and Republicans are racist (never mind that it was mostly Democrats in Congress who opposed ending segregation — people don’t pay close attention to history).

Once this false mantra has been established, label a broad range of normal behavior by conservatives as racist (it doesn’t matter if some of those conservatives are minorities themselves, like black and Hispanic police officers, contradictions don’t matter). Lump all that behavior in with that of the small number of real racists and refer to it as conservative or right wing (never mind that many racists are on the left, just gloss over that). Even better, create a new term that clearly refers to white supremacists, alt-right, and lump in mainstream conservatives. This tactic has allowed the left to write off one of the most popular conservative publications in the country, Breitbart, as racist. Since no one wants to be considered racist, it scares people away from being associated with conservatism.

Sen. Kamala Harris: It’s Time To Ban Private Ownership of ‘Assault Weapons’

For anyone out there that just kind of figured that Kamala Harris was another loony leftist that was pretty much harmless, you might want to rethink that. Right now, she is leading the pack to run for the presidency for the left in 2020. That’s if Mark Zuckerberg doesn’t get it. She tweeted last Thursday, that it is “past time” to ban private ownership of “assault weapons.” There it is… if the left gets in power, they fully intend to come for your guns and ban them.

She’s hiding behind her claim that it is for public safety… you know, for our own good. And she would expand the definition of assault weapons to all guns. I have absolutely no doubt about that. None. Gun-related deaths are not the problem here. Progressive ideas and political agendas that let criminals run wild and do what they want are the root cause here. By banning guns, you hurt good, innocent people and leave them at the mercy of predators who don’t follow the law. This woman considers any gun that is black to be a so-called assault weapon. She has no idea what she’s talking about. Or even worse, maybe she does.

Seton Center volunteers donate to Lower Shore Shelter

On behalf of 30 volunteers from Seton Center, Catholic Charities in Princess Anne, Julie Williams (left), program secretary, and volunteer Winfield Leatherbury (second from left) present a donation to members of the Somerset Committee for the Homeless, Inc. to support the Lower Shore Shelter. Accepting the donation are Jim Porter, chairman, and Dick Scott, vice chairman, along with committee members Brandi Horner, Tashia Rubart, Charlotte Jones, Genniece Cropper, Rudy Drummond, Charlotte Scharf, Rudy Drummond, Sr. and Kathy Maloney.

Each summer Seton Center holds a volunteer appreciation event at which the organization presents its volunteers with a small memento as a thank you for their service. This year’s volunteer appreciation event was an ice cream social. While the organization was preparing for the event, several volunteers suggested donating the money that it would spend on mementos - $3 per person – to another deserving charity. At the ice cream social, small presentations were made about several local charities and volunteers dropped their ticket into the jar that was set up for whichever organization they wanted to support. Thirty volunteers selected Lower Shore Shelter, donating $120.

“I find it amazing and heartwarming that these people, who give so freely of their time and energy, were so generous to turn down anything for themselves in favor of helping others,” said Williams, who also serves on the committee.

Scheduled to open later this summer, the Lower Shore Shelter is located on Somerset Avenue in Princess Anne and will serve Somerset and the surrounding counties. The shelter is a 16-bed facility that will accommodate individuals and families in need of a safe place to stay.

Navigating The 'Aisle Of Confusion' To Whiten Your Teeth

Walk down the aisle of your local pharmacy or grocery store and you'll be bombarded by a dizzying array of bleaching products, from gels and strips to paint-on bleach.

Cosmetic tooth bleaching is a $3.2 billion global industry, according to market analysts, and it's getting bigger fast. It's easy to see why. Strikingly white, bright smiles dominate TV and social media, and people tend to prefer the bright teeth of youth rather than those that have been yellowed by trauma or age.

But if you decide that you, too, want a brighter smile, it's hard to know where to start.

"I'm a dentist, but I'm also a consumer and I can certainly get confused by all the products," says Ruchi Sahota who practices in Fremont, Calif. A colleague of hers describes the tooth product aisle in stores as the "dental aisle of confusion," because there are so many options. "You can easily get bewildered standing there trying to figure out which option is the best," she says.

Trump considering a Pardon for Ex-Sheriff Joe Arpaio

EXCLUSIVE: President Trump may soon issue a pardon for Joe Arpaio, the colorful former Arizona sheriff who was found guilty two weeks ago of criminal contempt for defying a state judge’s order to stop traffic patrols targeting suspected undocumented immigrants. In his final years as Maricopa County sheriff, Arpaio had emerged as a leading opponent of illegal immigration.

“I am seriously considering a pardon for Sheriff Arpaio,” the president said Sunday, during a conversation with Fox News at his club in Bedminster, N.J. “He has done a lot in the fight against illegal immigration. He’s a great American patriot and I hate to see what has happened to him.”

Trump said the pardon could happen in the next few days, should he decide to do so.

Arpaio, 85, was convicted by U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton of misdemeanor contempt of court for willfully disregarding an Arizona judge’s order in 2011 to stop the anti-immigrant traffic patrols. Arpaio had maintained the law enforcement patrols for 17 months thereafter.

'Guccifer' Calls Fox from Romania, Says He Shouldn't Be Sent Back to U.S.

EXCLUSIVE - Guccifer, the Romanian hacker who first revealed to the world that Hillary Clinton used a non-secure private email address while serving as secretary of state, has reached out to Fox News from behind prison bars in Arad, Romania to argue that he shouldn’t be sent back to the U.S. to serve another jail sentence.

Marcel Lehel Lazar, 45, known by his famous moniker "Guccifer," told Fox he wants to stay in a Romanian prison and not be returned to America to serve his 52-month sentence for U.S. computer hacking crimes involving unauthorized access to a protected computer and aggravated identity theft.

Lazar made a series of calls to Fox Senior Executive Producer Pamela Browne from the prison where he is finishing his seven-year sentence for hacking crimes committed in his native country. After giving permission to be recorded by Fox, Lazar said he has an upcoming mid-August court hearing in Timisoara, the third largest city in western Romania, and will ask judiciary authorities to allow him to serve his U.S. and Romanian sentences concurrently in his country.

His wife and family live near the prison.

Lazar does not deny he hacked over 100 Americans, including Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal, former Secretary of State Colin Powell, and members of the Bush family using Russian proxy servers because they were “the fastest.”

94-year-old puts in pool for neighborhood kids

MORRIS, Minn. – Peace and quiet seem like a good thing, until you’ve had too much. Keith Davison got his fill in the months that followed the death of his wife Evy.

“You just can’t imagine what it's like,” says Davison, who lost his wife to cancer in 2016 after a marriage of 66 years. “You cry a lot. That's just the way it is, because she's not here.”

But it’s not quiet at Davison’s house anymore. Late this spring the 94-year-old retired judge installed in his backyard an in-ground pool – then filled it with the neighborhood kids.

A New Report Raises Big Questions About Last Year’s DNC Hack

It is now a year since the Democratic National Committee’s mail system was compromised—a year since events in the spring and early summer of 2016 were identified as remote hacks and, in short order, attributed to Russians acting in behalf of Donald Trump. A great edifice has been erected during this time. President Trump, members of his family, and numerous people around him stand accused of various corruptions and extensive collusion with Russians. Half a dozen simultaneous investigations proceed into these matters. Last week news broke that Special Counsel Robert Mueller had convened a grand jury, which issued its first subpoenas on August 3. Allegations of treason are common; prominent political figures and many media cultivate a case for impeachment.

The president’s ability to conduct foreign policy, notably but not only with regard to Russia, is now crippled. Forced into a corner and having no choice, Trump just signed legislation imposing severe new sanctions on Russia and European companies working with it on pipeline projects vital to Russia’s energy sector. Striking this close to the core of another nation’s economy is customarily considered an act of war, we must not forget. In retaliation, Moscow has announced that the United States must cut its embassy staff by roughly two-thirds. All sides agree that relations between the United States and Russia are now as fragile as they were during some of the Cold War’s worst moments. To suggest that military conflict between two nuclear powers inches ever closer can no longer be dismissed as hyperbole.

All this was set in motion when the DNC’s mail server was first violated in the spring of 2016 and by subsequent assertions that Russians were behind that “hack” and another such operation, also described as a Russian hack, on July 5. These are the foundation stones of the edifice just outlined. The evolution of public discourse in the year since is worthy of scholarly study: Possibilities became allegations, and these became probabilities. Then the probabilities turned into certainties, and these evolved into what are now taken to be established truths. By my reckoning, it required a few days to a few weeks to advance from each of these stages to the next. This was accomplished via the indefensibly corrupt manipulations of language repeated incessantly in our leading media.

The Logic Of War

This was the week that the logic of war collided with the illogic of bubbles. So far, the bubble is winning, but that’s about to change.

The “logic of war” is an English translation of a French phrase, la logique de la guerre, which refers to the dynamic of how wars begin despite the fact that the war itself will be horrendous, counterproductive, and possibly end in complete defeat.

As applied to North Korea, the U.S. has made it clear that if it is forced into a preemptive attack to destroy North Korea’s nuclear weapons and missile programs, it will not stop there. The U.S. will aim to decapitate the regime and replace it with something more reasonable.

This could be the start of a gradual reunification of the Korean peninsula on terms favorable to the U.S. In effect, we would be winners in the original Korean War fought from 1950 to 1953.

North Korea has made it equally clear that any attack by the U.S. will result in massive artillery and missile bombardment of South Korea, and possibly Japan and U.S. bases in the region.

Even if North Korea has not yet produced nuclear armed missiles, it does have enormous conventional firepower and missiles. It could possibly detonate a nuclear “device” even if it does not yet have a miniaturized nuclear warhead.

Vast Majority of Marylanders Support Changes to Current Brewery Laws

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – An overwhelming majority of Marylanders support fundamental changes to the state’s alcohol laws that govern the production, distribution and sale of beer, according to the results of an online survey released today by Comptroller Peter Franchot.

“Maryland’s current beer laws are dysfunctional and outdated and work to the detriment of consumers and small business,” said Comptroller Franchot in response to the unscientific survey. “Without comprehensive reform, Maryland’s reputation within the national craft brewing industry will continue to suffer. We must have laws that make sense for all the stakeholders and promote economic growth for all three tiers and create the best market for Maryland consumers.”

This past spring, the Comptroller announced the formation of a Reform on Tap Task Force to do a comprehensive review of the state’s antiquated laws governing the manufacturing, distribution and sale of Maryland craft beer. Forty task force members, representing every region of the state from large and small breweries, distributors, restaurants, bars and retailers, consumers and local and state officials have been meeting regularly to discuss issues affecting the industry. As a result of the meetings, an online poll was taken live from August 7 to 11. During that time, 2,472 respondents completed the survey. Below are the questions and the results:

Question 1: What is your opinion on the limits on craft beer production in Maryland law?
  •  72 percent of respondents said there should be no limits on beer production; while an additional 20 percent said they are too low. The remaining 8 percent said they are either too high as they are or that they are “fine” at current levels.

Number 7!

Dear Joe -

Before being elected Governor of Maryland, I had never held public office before. I am simply a small businessman, concerned citizen, and lifelong Marylander who was fed up with the never ending tax and fee increases and status quo politicians in Annapolis …

So I did something about it. I ran for Governor.

I pledged to put Maryland on a new path and we are doing exactly what we said we would do.

Our efforts to restore Maryland’s economy and create jobs are working! Our first year in office was the most successful in total job creation and private-sector job growth in the last 15 years. Since January 2015, Maryland has created over 106,000 jobs and our state is now adding jobs at one of the fastest rates in the country.

When I was sworn in, Maryland's overall economic performance ranked 49th out of 50 states. And just last week it was announced that Maryland now ranks NUMBER 7 in economic performance in the entire nation.

We started this incredible economic turnaround by:
Slashing tolls at every single toll facility across Maryland for the first time in more than 50 years -- saving families and businesses $270 million;
Reducing or eliminating more than 250 fees;
Halting 100 job-killing regulations and eliminating hundreds of others;
Eliminating nearly all of the the $5.1 billion inherited structural deficit and passing three balanced budgets in a row without a single tax increase;
Cutting taxes three years in a row, with tax, toll, and fee cuts totaling over $700 million; and
Cutting taxes for military retirees, repealed the rain tax mandate, and returned $200 million in refund checks to overtaxed citizens.
If you like what we are doing and want us to continue to change Maryland for the better.

While this progress is tremendous, we are only just getting started! I would be honored to have you by my side as we continue to change Maryland for the better!

                                                                        Sincerely,

                                                                          Larry Hogan
P.S. I was recently ranked the second most popular governor in the country … and while that is an incredible honor, I do not want to come in second come November 6, 2018!

Man visually impaired by sun during eclipse warns of viewing dangers

OREGON CITY, Ore. -- An Oregon City man is warning people to be extra careful on the day of the eclipse.

“The sun at that time, at 3:30 p.m., was in the one o’clock position,” said Tomososki. “I said to Roger, ‘If you stare at it long enough the brightness goes away.’”

Criminal charges sought for protesters who toppled Confederate statue in North Carolina

When protesters, angry over the deadly incidents in Virginia this weekend, decided to take down a nearly century-old statue of a Confederate soldier in North Carolina on Monday, law enforcement stood back and watched.

At no time did officers with the Durham Police Department or deputies with the Durham County Sheriff’s Office intervene as activists brought a ladder up to the statue and used a rope to pull it down, according to multiple media reports.

No one was arrested Monday, however, a day later, Durham County Sheriff Mike Andrews announced investigators were working to identify the protesters and planned to bring criminal charges against them.

“We decided that restraint and public safety would be our priority,” Andrews said in a statement posted on his agency's website. “As the Sheriff, I am not blind to the offensive conduct of some demonstrators nor will I ignore their criminal conduct.”

Councilman formally calls for Baltimore's Confederate monuments to be destroyed

Baltimore City Councilman Brandon Scott is formally calling for all four of Baltimore’s Confederate-era monuments to be torn down.

In a resolution being introduced Monday, Scott calls for “the immediate destruction of all Confederate Monuments in Baltimore.” In the resolution, he cites the white nationalist rally in Charlottesville over the weekend that left three dead.

“Monuments with ties to the dark side of America’s past have come under increased scrutiny in recent years with cities across the country debating on whether they should be removed,” Scott wrote. “Following the acts of domestic terrorism carried out by white supremacist terrorist groups in Charlottesville Virginia this past weekend cities must act decisively and immediately by removing these monuments. Baltimore has had more than enough time to think on the issue it’s time to act.”

Mayor Catherine Pugh said Monday she has contacted contractors about removing the statues.

MDOT SHA CLOSES EASTBOUND US 50 SALISBURY BYPASS FOR PAVEMENT DAMAGE AND EROSION

Motorists to be Detoured to US 50 Business through Downtown Salisbury

(August 15, 2017) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration today (MDOT SHA) closed the eastbound US 50/US 13 Salisbury Bypass at the US 50 Business (Salisbury Boulevard) split due to pavement damage and drainage erosion just prior to US 13 Business. The right lane was already closed at the same location for a pipe repair. The westbound Salisbury Bypass is open and not impacted by the closure.

“Significant rainfall last weekend created additional erosion under the road. For the safety of the traveling public, we closed both lanes, began immediate repairs and are detouring traffic,” said MDOT SHA District Engineer Jay Meredith.
(MDOT SHA photoCrews immediately working on the eastbound Salisbury Bypass.)
Motorists are being detoured on US 50 Business through the City of Salisbury, which served as the gateway to beach resorts before completion of the Salisbury Bypass. MDOT SHA is retiming traffic signals on US 50 business to provide additional ‘green’ time to through motorists. Drivers planning to travel to the beach resorts are strongly urged to plan additional travel time.  Overhead message signs will alert motorists to the detour.

(Google map: Motorists will be directed to use US 50 Business through Salisbury.)

BREAKING NEWS: Salisbury Bypass Closed

The east bound entrance to the Bypass, (coming from the Hebron area) has been closed due to a sink hole. I drove by around 6 AM this morning and saw they had closed one lane but now they have completely closed it down from the entrance. From what I remember, the erosion is just before Naylor Mill Rd. Spread the word.

Paul Craig Roberts Explains "How Conspiracy Theories Really Work"

In the United States «conspiracy theory» is the name given to explanations that differ from those that serve the ruling oligarchy, the establishment or whatever we want to call those who set and control the agendas and the explanations that support the agendas.

The explanations imposed on us by the ruling class are themselves conspiracy theories. Moreover, they are conspiracy theories designed to hide the real conspiracy that our rulers are operating.

For example, the official explanation of 9/11 is a conspiracy theory. Some Muslims, mainly Saudi Arabians, delivered the greatest humiliation to a superpower since David slew Goliath. They outsmarted all 17 US intelligence agencies and those of NATO and Israel, the National Security Council, the Transportation Safety Administration, Air Traffic Control, and Dick Cheney, hijacked four US airliners on one morning, brought down three World Trade Center skyscrapers, destroyed that part of the Pentagon where research was underway into the missing $2.3 billion, and caused the morons in Washington to blame Afghanistan instead of Saudi Arabia.

Clearly, the Saudi Arabians who humiliated America were involved in a conspiracy to do so.

Is it a believable conspiracy?

The ability of a few young Muslim men to pull off such a feat is unbelievable. Such total failure of the US National Security State means that America was blindly vulnerable throughout the decades of Cold War with the Soviet Union. If such total failure of the National Security State had really occurred, the White House and Congress would have been screaming for an investigation. People would have been held accountable for the long chain of security failures that allowed the plot to succeed. Instead, no one was even reprimanded, and the White House resisted all efforts for an investigation for a year. Finally, to shut up the 9/11 families, a 9/11 Commission was convened. The commission duly wrote down the government’s story and that was the «investigation».

Moreover, there is no evidence to support the official conspiracy theory of 9/11. Indeed, all known evidence contradicts the official conspiracy theory.

For example, it is a proven fact that Building 7 came down at freefall acceleration, which means it was wired for demolition. Why was it wired for demolition? There is no official answer to this question.

It is the known evidence provided by scientists, architects, engineers, pilots, and the first responders who were in the twin towers and personally experienced the numerous explosions that brought down the towers that is described as a conspiracy theory.

Report: Obama Admin Was Warned About Russia's Plans in 2014

The Obama administration received numerous warnings – some as far back as 2014 – that Russia was putting together a disinformation operation that could be used to interfere with the U.S. political system, Politico is reporting.

The warnings came from national security officials, the website said.

A report handed over to administration officials in 2014 detailed the disinformation networks Russia was ramping up, according to Politico.

"You have no idea how extensive these networks are in Europe ... and in the U.S., Russia has penetrated media organizations, lobbying firms, political parties, governments and militaries in all of these places," a Russian source is quoted in the report, Politico said.

Officials say the move paves the way for Maryland to lead in cyber security. It’s among the fastest growing crimes in America.

Trying to tackle cyber crimes takes special skills, now being taught here in Baltimore.

“This system allows them to do things in a safe and sequestered manner that they can’t do on their systems at work,” says Mike Doyle, with the Baltimore Cyber Range.

Hunting RINOs is tough, but here’s how you do it

President Donald Trump has ushered in a new age of politics, one that’s not been seen since Ronald Reagan’s day, that supporters see as putting people over pols, citizens over Capitol Hill.

And boy, are the RINOs on edge about that. So oust ‘em, some say.

The trouble is it’s easier said than done. Here’s why. And more importantly, here’s how to do it.

“Few things in life are more predictable than the chances of an incumbent member of the U.S. House of Representatives winning reelection,” the Center for Responsive Politics wrote, in its OpenSecrets.org website. “With wide name recognition, and usually an insurmountable advantage in campaign cash, House incumbents typically have little trouble holding onto their seats.”

Pope Francis Warns Against Consulting ‘Horoscopes and Fortune-Tellers’

When Christians seek guidance from horoscopes and fortune-tellers rather than “holding fast to the Word of the Lord,” that’s when problems start, Pope Francis told a group of pilgrims in the Vatican Sunday.

During his weekly Angelus message in Saint Peter’s Square, the Pope reflected on the gospel reading of the day, which describes Jesus walking on the water of the Sea of Galilee and Saint Peter’s attempt to do the same.

The boat carrying the twelve apostles “was being tossed about by the waves” when Jesus came toward them walking on the sea. When the disciples saw him walking on the water they thought he was a ghost, but he said to them, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.”

Peter said to him, “Lord, if it is really you, command me to come to you on the water,” at which Jesus said to him, “Come.” Peter got out of the boat and began to walk on the water toward Jesus, but when he saw how strong the wind was he became frightened and began to sink, crying out, “Lord, save me!”

At this point Jesus stretched out his hand and caught Peter and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

Reflecting on Peter’s hesitation, Pope Francis said that something similar can happen to Christians who turn away from Jesus to seek salvation elsewhere..

Why Donald Trump?

My Leftist friends (as well as many ardent #NeverTrumpers) constantly ask me if I’m not bothered by Donald Trump’s lack of decorum. They ask if I don’t think his tweets are “beneath the dignity of the office.” Here’s my answer:

We Right-thinking people have tried dignity. There could not have been a man of more quiet dignity than George W. Bush as he suffered the outrageous lies and politically motivated hatreds that undermined his presidency. We tried statesmanship. Could there be another human being on this earth who so desperately prized “collegiality” as John McCain? We tried propriety – has there been a nicer human being ever than Mitt Romney? And the results were always the same.

This is because, while we were playing by the rules of dignity, collegiality and propriety, the Left has been, for the past 60 years, engaged in a knife fight where the only rules are those of Saul Alinsky and the Chicago mob.

I don’t find anything “dignified,” “collegial” or “proper” about Barack Obama’s lying about what went down on the streets of Ferguson in order to ramp up racial hatreds because racial hatreds serve the Democratic Party. I don’t see anything “dignified” in lying about the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi and imprisoning an innocent filmmaker to cover your tracks. I don’t see anything “statesman-like” in weaponizing the IRS to be used to destroy your political opponents and any dissent. Yes, Obama was “articulate” and “polished” but in no way was he in the least bit “dignified,” “collegial” or “proper.”

How the Liberal Media Created Charlottesville

I wish I could say that it’s a shock that someone died in Charlottesville, but I’ve been predicting just this sort of thing in radio appearances for months. The liberal media is dying to blame it all on Donald Trump, but it should look in the mirror.

To begin with, the liberal media is almost entirely responsible for growing the Alt-Right merger of hate groups and internet trolls. Most people are well aware of the stifling political correctness that reached an apex under Barack Obama. People are sick and tired of being attacked and scolded by the humorless left-wing thought police every time they stray from the latest liberal doctrine. That created a large group of people who enjoyed tweaking social justice warriors and some of them realized the easiest way to do that was with racial slurs. Every time some doofus leaves a noose on a college campus or says the N-word, it’s treated like a national crisis. If you’re an anonymous troll who enjoys getting people to react to everything you say, that’s a FEATURE, not a bug. All you have to do is say something racially offensive and all these people who studiously try to ignore you will go out of their minds.

That racial element gave the Nazis, white supremacists and KKK mouth-breathers a way to connect with the more socially adept trolls making the Pepe the Frog memes. Of course, the media liberals fueled them as well with their hypocrisy. They painted EVERY white supporter of Donald Trump or the Republican Party as a racist even as they ignored and defended the vicious anti-white rhetoric that has become commonplace on the Left.

Just to give you a quick example of that..

A Viewer Writes: Salisbury City Council Meeting

After viewing the circus, also called the City Council meeting last week, I am perplexed as to what is next? The council had no boundaries when it came to making a fool out of Bob Culver. Clearly, he is a man who cares about the citizens he was elected to represent, and as an elected official, one would think he would be shown a little bit of respect. The council acted like 2 year olds, and definitely showed their true colors. The city council made it very clear they have no intention to work with the executive to come to a better agreement for the county citizens, as they stated they would only be willing to cooperate with Mr. Culver in 5 years when the fire agreement is set to terminate.

The fire service agreement states that if any of the governing bodies cannot work together or get along it can be pulled at any time. It's clear Bob is trying to make things better for the county citizens of Salisbury, but the city and county councils do not support him whatsoever. The County Chief's association, the governing body when it comes to fire territory since its formation, agreed to give Station 13 territory. This was voted on and accepted at previous meetings, prior to this agreements effective date, which they do not agree with nor support. They have been vocal in their position not to support and agree with the fire service agreement until such changes are made. So why is this agreement still in effect? Several county residents have made it very clear they are unhappy with this agreement and fully support having this station serve their community. They disagree with allowing the City to have any authority in the county, but yet their voices do not seem to matter.

Please please please Bob, don't give up. Don't let the city or the county council bully you into giving in. Do what is best for the citizens that elected you. Remember, the election will be coming up soon, and the actions of these council members have not gone unnoticed. Perhaps we as a community need to come together to make sure these members are replaced at that time, especially John Cannon, the leader of this resistance and buddy of Jake Day.

Prince William Co. supervisor Stewart blames ‘left-wingers’ for half of Charlottesville violence

WASHINGTON — As political leaders from both sides of the aisle speak out against the weekend violence that happened in Charlottesville, Virginia, between white nationalists and counter-protesters, one local Republican claims only half the story is being told.

“It’s time to end the hypocrisy,” said Corey Stewart, chairman of the Prince William Board of Supervisors.

Stewart, who will challenge Democratic U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine for his seat next year, said there is plenty of blame to go around.

“People condemned all those far-right agitators, but no one seemed to condemn the left wing,” he said. “Clearly, half of that violence was committed by left-wingers.”

Used Car Prices Crash To Lowest Level Since 2009 Amid Glut Of Off-Lease Supply

The U.S. auto market is at an interesting crossroads with used car prices crashing to new lows every month while new car prices continue to defy gravity courtesy of a somewhat 'frothy', if not suicidal, lending market that has seemingly decided that anyone with a pulse is financially qualified for a $0 down, 0% interest, 80 month loan on a brand new $40,000 luxury vehicle of their choice.

As the Labor Department’s consumer-price index data showed last Friday, used car prices once again dropped in July to the lowest level since the 'great recession' of 2009. In fact, since the end of 2015, the cost of used vehicles has dropped in all but three months and are now roughly 10% off their 2013 high.
