Obamacare's Success In Enrollment Numbers: 6 People By End Of Day One; 248 By Day Two

It is now clear why according to the Obama administration there were no glitches plaguing the Healthcare.gov website administering Obamacare: because a whopping six people managed to sign up on the first day it was launched - the same day the government proudly reported previously it had received 4.7 million unique visitors - a conversion factor of, well, Div/0. By the end of the second day: 248 happy participants in a socialized healthcare ponzi scheme. It is also clear why there was nobody happier than the president when the republican party decided to shut down government on the same day as Obamacare was rolled out: because if public attention had focused on the absolute and now confirmed, disaster that the healthcare law's rollout had been, then everyone, not just the Tea Party, would be demanding a substantial delay in Obamacare.

The enrollment data comes even after the Obama administration has said it cannot provide enrollment figures from HealthCare.gov because it doesn't have the numbers. "We do not have any reliable data around enrollment, which is why we haven't given it to date," Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told lawmakers on Wednesday. Turns out she did - as Reuters  and ABC report, the documents, which are labeled "war room" notes and appear to be summaries of issues with the problematic website beginning on October 2, indicate a mere six enrollments had occurred by that morning - the day after the website was launched and almost immediately crashed.

OBAMA'S RALLY FOR MCAULIFFE MAY BE CONFLICT OF INTEREST

On Sunday, President Obama will travel to Northern Virginia to campaign for Democrat Terry McAuliffe. The Commonwealth Attorney for Loudon County, however, notes that the appearance may be a conflict of interest, given the federal investigations surrounding McAuliffe's business interests.

"I’m amazed that President Obama will be campaigning for Mr. McAuliffe, both of whom have also been practicing attorneys," Commonwealth Attorney Jim Plowman said in an email. "It has been well publicized that Mr. McAuliffe and his business associates are currently embroiled in investigations by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Both of these agencies are overseen and directly under the control of President Obama."

Nearly Every Mass Shooting In The Last 20 Years Shares One Thing In Common, & It’s NOT Weapons

Manasquan, NJ --(Ammoland.com)- Nearly every mass shooting incident in the last twenty years, and multiple other instances of suicide and isolated shootings all share one thing in common, and its not the weapons used.

The overwhelming evidence points to the signal largest common factor in all of these incidents is the fact that all of the perpetrators were either actively taking powerful psychotropic drugs or had been at some point in the immediate past before they committed their crimes.

Multiple credible scientific studies going back more then a decade, as well as internal documents from certain pharmaceutical companies that suppressed the information show that SSRI drugs ( Selective Serotonin Re-Uptake Inhibitors ) have well known, but unreported side effects, including but not limited to suicide and other violent behavior. One need only Google relevant key words or phrases to see for themselves. www.ssristories.com is one popular site that has documented over 4500 “ Mainstream Media “ reported cases from around the World of aberrant or violent behavior by those taking these powerful drugs.

The following list of mass shooting perpetrators and the drugs they were taking or had been taking shortly before their horrific actions was compiled and published to Facebook by John Noveske, founder and owner of Noveske Rifleworks just days before he was mysteriously killed in a single car accident. Is there a link between Noveske’s death and his “outting” of information numerous disparate parties would prefer to suppress, for a variety of reasons ?
I leave that to the individual readers to decide. But there is most certainly a documented history of people who “knew to much” or were considered a “threat” dying under extraordinarily suspicious circumstances.

Detroit Bankruptcy Proposal Would Leave Pensioners With 16 Cents On The Dollar

It was the politicians, and not longtime city workers like Olivia Gillon, who brought Detroit to the brink of insolvency, but now Gillon can only watch as lawyers negotiating the Motor City's bankruptcy bid place a new value on her hard-earned pension: 16 cents on the dollar.

The beleaguered city, facing debt of as much as $20 billion and led by a state-appointed manager, tried nearly a year ago to renegotiate with creditors. When those talks broke down, the city filed for bankruptcy last July, but the filing was ruled unconstitutional by a judge. A series of state and federal rulings followed, culminating in a trial that began last week in which the city must show it is eligible to enter bankruptcy. That's when the frightening magnitude of the "haircut" being sought for some 21,000 retirees emerged.

“It’s wrong on every possible level,” Gillon, 68, told FoxNews.com. “I earned my pension. I retired expecting it and I feel that I should have it.”

Marriage Isn’t For You

Having been married only a year and a half, I’ve recently come to the conclusion that marriage isn’t for me.

Now before you start making assumptions, keep reading.

I met my wife in high school when we were 15 years old. We were friends for ten years until…until we decided no longer wanted to be just friends. :) I strongly recommend that best friends fall in love. Good times will be had by all.

Nevertheless, falling in love with my best friend did not prevent me from having certain fears and anxieties about getting married. The nearer Kim and I approached the decision to marry, the more I was filled with a paralyzing fear. Was I ready? Was I making the right choice? Was Kim the right person to marry? Would she make me happy?

Then, one fateful night, I shared these thoughts and concerns with my dad.

Keyless Lock8 Bicycle Lock Sends Theft Alerts To Your Smartphone

Lock8 is the world’s first smart bike lock that can be operated via smartphone! The keyless lock has a GPS tracker that helps users find their bicycles when they are either misplaced or stolen. It is sensitive to motion and temperature, and uses a gyro accelerometer to send push notifications to phones, which triggers a painfully loud alarm. It can send alerts to your family or the community, but also enables users to share the location and e-Key with friends who might need to borrow the bike.In the age of high-tech gadgets and electronically-operated devices, our bike locks seem incredibly outdated and inefficient. The same thought ran through the minds of two Oxford students, Danierl Zajarias-Fainsod and Franz Salzmann in 2012 when Franz’s bike got stolen. The friends decided to build a better lock-one that will be fully integrated with smartphones. They managed to get the necessary funding from Christophe Maire, the investor who funded projects such as SoundCloud and gate5, which enabled them to work on the project full time.Instead of using bulky keys, the Lock8 is activated by swiping the smartphone. This custom feature is available online as an app for the new lock. Users can send their password to anyone and share their bike with friends and family without having to physically hand over the keys.

Robert Kiyosaki Talks Prepping, Anarchy In America, And Issues His Biggest Warning Ever

“Pretty soon the government has to start printing in mass. They’re only printing a trillion a year right now, but they will start printing more because, very simply, they can’t handle Social Security, Medicare…If they stiff those people, we’ll have anarchy.” Unfortunately, Robert’s view of the future of America is bleak. He believes that within the next five years, the entire system will collapse, ushering in a period of American chaos and poverty the likes of which have never been seen in the Land of the Free. “I think the biggest thing I can warn people is this, from my indication, the people in the stock market – the guys with 401(k)’s, and IRA’s full of stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, they’re the next target; they’re going to get wiped out. The last target was 2007 and it was the homeowners. Now, they’re going to get the retirement plans.” More

Kudlow: Liberal Entitlement-State Dream Is Crumbling

May I ask this question? Why is it that Americans don't have the freedom to choose their own health insurance? I just don't get it. Why must the liberal nanny state make decisions for us? We can make them ourselves, thank you very much. It's like choosing a car, buying a home or investing in a stock. We can handle it.
So why must the government tell me and everyone else what we can and cannot buy?
Charles Krauthammer and the Wall Street Journal's Dan Henninger noted in excellent recent columns that this whole Obamacare business represents the greatest-ever expansion of the liberal entitlement-state dream. But I don't want that dream. And you shouldn't either.

State Warns 1 Cent Storm Water Fee Is 'Insufficient'

Frederick County's 1 cent storm water fee could end up costing tens of thousands of dollars in fines, state environmental officials recently warned.

A Maryland Department of the Environment review determined the county's fee would be "insufficient" to pay for the water cleanup efforts required by a state-enforced permit.

The fee of 1 cent per eligible property is estimated to raise $487 annually for county water programs.

"We believe that this level of funding will be insufficient to support the people, programs and projects that will be necessary for the county to meet its obligations under the Watershed Implementation Plan and the new MS4 permit that we expect to issue to your county next month," stated an Oct. 25 letter written by Robert Summers, the state's environmental secretary.

WATCH WHO JUST WARNED OF ‘VERY REAL CONSEQUENCES WHEN YOU OPERATE IDEOLOGICALLY’

ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) — “This isn’t a game,” President Barack Obama told a crowd of 1,600 gathered in a high school gymnasium Sunday.

“There are very real consequences when you operate ideologically, the way some of these folks do.”

By “these folks,” Obama was pointing a finger at Ken Cuccinelli, the GOP candidate for Virginia governor, and his conservative Tea Party supporters. Obama said he prefers Democrat Terry McAuliffe to helm the state, as the campaign enters its final days.

In his speech that praised McAuliffe, Obama said Cuccinelli is among those who want to “tear down” the United States — a compromise-averse ideologue who prefers to “cut off funding for Planned Parenthood” rather than create jobs — and who represents a political party that he said was responsible for the government shutdown.

“Now he says it’s in the rear view mirror. It can’t be in the rear view mirror if this is your operative theory of politics,” Obama said.

CUCCINELLI: MCAULIFFE 'A THREAT TO LIBERTY'

On Breitbart News Sunday on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125, Virginia Republican Attorney General and gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli said a Terry McAuliffe administration in Virginia would be a "threat to liberty." He urged Virginians to "send Washington a message" by voting against McAuliffe on Tuesday.

Cuccinelli mentioned that McAuliffe did not think Obamacare went far enough when he advocated a public option and said President Barack Obama's appearance in Virginia on Sunday on behalf of McAuliffe was a "blessing" because it brought a "crystal-clear focus to Obamacare in Virginia and what a disaster that is."

"He wants more of this," Cuccinelli said of McAuliffe and Obamacare.

CAPTAIN OF SCANDAL COULD WIN MAJOR RACE

This man is 'hiding enough to sink 10 candidates'

WASHINGTON
—Terry McAuliffe is the ultimate Clinton insider.
The Democrat has been at the center of major scandals during every step of his career, though he’s never been charged.

He is also the leading gubernatorial candidate in Virginia, although his double-digit lead over his Republican opponent, Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, has plummeted to just two points, with the election on Tuesday.

The left-leaning website Counterpunch called McAuliffe the Clintons’ “chief emissary” whose “implacable loyalty” was amply rewarded in 2001.

That’s when “Bill Clinton engineered the ouster of Joe Andrew as head of the DNC and installed McAuliffe … as the chief of the party. As the head of the DNC, McAuliffe was now in a position to protect the Clintons’ legacy, reward loyalists, punish party dissidents and select the next presidential nominee.”

When she walked over to investigate, Kurz saw two town employees having sexual intercourse, the attorney said.

“Right in the middle of the library, in front of God and everybody,” attorney CampBell told the local news station.

In fact, an amendment to the Navy code called SECNAV Instruction 10520.6 clearly states that as of 31 May 2002 all ships are to fly the flag throughout the duration of the War on Terror.

DHS Workers Claim Unearned Overtime

Dipping into 'candy bowl' can add up to 25% to paycheck

(Washington Post) Federal employees at the Department of Homeland Security call it the “candy bowl,” a pot of overtime money they have long dipped into to pad their pay even if they haven’t earned it, whistleblowers say.

This practice, which can add up to 25 percent to a paycheck, has become so routine over the last generation that it’s often held out as a perk when government managers try to recruit new employees, according to these accounts.

In a report submitted to the White House and Congress on Thursday, the federal Office of Special Counsel (OSC) details what it calls a “profound and entrenched problem” at DHS and a “gross waste of government funds.” Based on the testimony of seven whistleblowers, the OSC concludes that the pervasive misuse of overtime pay in six DHS offices, including four within Customs and Border Protection, comes to $8.7 million a year.

Elliott's Singer On America's "Insidious And Life-Draining" Dependency Culture

The employment situation in America is in a state of serious dysfunction. The problems existed before the 2008 crisis, to be sure, but they are getting worse, and the current Administration’s job-related policies are seriously deficient. Most parts of the developed world are facing similar challenges, but our focus in this section will be on the U.S., where the labor participation rate has reached a 40-year low. This is a nasty statistic, one that reveals the published unemployment figures to be a deception. In reality, five years after the crash, unemployment remains at recession levels. The fall in the labor participation rate reflects the perils of long-term unemployment, which turns millions of workers into unemployables as their skill sets rust with disuse and their attractiveness to employers diminishes.

One element in the long-term jobs picture is the march of technology. The technologies that are chewing up jobs are actually accelerating in their efficiency and their ability to perform tasks previously done by people. The fear that technology will make workers obsolete predates the industrial revolution, but the future will likely prove that this is only partially true. Technological advances may not be the death of employment, but they will require seriously creative policies to counteract their negative effects on jobs without impeding overall growth. We believe that this can and must be achieved.

Terry McAuliffe Goes AWOL For Virginia Students And Media

Campaign ducks simple questions
It seemed a novel, relatively simple way for Virginia political candidates to engage with high school students across the state — and one that has been done for four years now.

In April, the gubernatorial campaigns of Democrat Terry McAuliffe and Republican Kenneth T. Cuccinelli II were asked if they would provide videotaped responses to five questions culled from 5,300 queries submitted by high school students across Virginia.

The candidates agreed and confirmed when reminded of the project four weeks ago. But two weeks ago, Mr. McAuliffe abruptly backed out — angering administrators and fitting an emerging pattern of evading what appear to be even the most innocuous questions in the closing days of the campaign.

JUSTICE ALITO: SELF-DEFENSE IS 'THE CENTRAL COMPONENT' OF THE 2ND AMENDMENT

McDonald v Chicago was a case brought by Otis McDonald against gun bans that prevented him from having a firearm with which to defend his life and property.

Alito wrote the majority opinion for the court on that decision, and in it he stressed how the right to keep and bear arms and the right to self-defense are two sides of the same coin in the 2nd Amendment.

Report: Food Insecurity Rising As Crop Production Falls

America’s food security is at immediate risk, according to a report leaked this month by the New York Times. Americans should expect crop production to fall by as much as 2 percent each decade for the rest of the 21st Century.

As the world’s population and accompanying food demand continue to rise, the food supply will not keep pace, say the world’s top scientists. The leaked report, drafted by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change at the United Nations, is the direst yet, and departs from previous, more hopeful, reports. With greenhouse gas emissions and temperatures rising, agricultural crops, which are sensitive to both, will struggle to survive, leading to soaring prices and starving populations.

America’s drought last year, which devastated food crops, is illustrative of a trend that will become more prevalent. Yet we keep kicking the food security can down the road by reassuring ourselves that we have enough food supply and that it’s merely a matter of distribution. This is a fool’s errand.

Stopping Obamacare In Virginia

The right way to do it is with a vote for Ken Cuccinelli.

Even the media have turned on the president, questioning why Obamacare’s exchanges were opened in the first place when the administration was fully aware of the website’s problems.

After having weeks to fix the widely reported “glitches,” as the president so aptly described them, some states still can’t identify a single individual who has successfully enrolled in Obamacare.

Hi Joe

We have recovered both puppies. An absolute miracle. Thank you for all your help
.

Hi Joe
Great news. We have found the male. He was picked up and hidden until the rightful owner, us came forward. He got separated from his sister. He was found one mile away from our home across from the Mardela High School. One down and one to go. The female is at someone's house somewhere.
We live on RT 313 3/4 of a mile north of the high school.

Last evening my two beautiful and partially trained Fox Red Labradors took off on us. They have never done this so this is very strange. I feel perhaps they were stolen but maybe someone is just keeping them until they find the owner. They are one male and one female. The female has a choker chain. The male has nothing on. They are too young for tags. They are only 4.5 months old. They are fox red but some would call them yellow. Please help. I understand that several hunting dogs have been stolen not so far away.
410-603-1400 They were lost in the Mardela Springs area.
