OBAMA'S RING: 'THERE IS NO GOD BUT ALLAH'

As a student at Harvard Law School, then-bachelor Barack Obama’s practice of wearing a gold band on his wedding-ring finger puzzled his colleagues.
Now, newly published photographs of Obama from the 1980s show that the ring Obama wore on his wedding-ring finger as an unmarried student is the same ring Michelle Robinson put on his finger at the couple’s wedding ceremony in 1992.
Moreover, according to Arabic-language and Islamic experts, the ring Obama has been wearing for more than 30 years is adorned with the first part of the Islamic declaration of faith, the Shahada: “There is no god except Allah.”

REP. TREY GOWDY EXPLODES AT LIBYA HEARING: ‘I WANT TO KNOW WHY WE WERE LIED TO’

Trey Gowdy, an outspoken Republican congressman from South Carolina, blasted Obama administration officials during Wednesday’s House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing on the Libya U.S. Consulate terrorist attack, raising his voice to levels rarely heard on the House floor.
Gowdy went after both U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice and White House Press Secretary Jay Carney for providing “demonstrably false” statements about the attack, not just to Congress, but to the American people as well. He slammed the Obama administration for initially saying the attack was in response to a video and not an act of terrorism, delivering a blistering and impassioned critique of the White House’s handling of the incident.

World’s Richest Man Gets Richer Supplying ‘Obamaphones’ to Poor

A Mexican telecom mogul who holds the title of world's richest man, and one of President Obama's top donors are both getting even richer from the U.S. government program that supplies so-called "Obamaphones" to the poor.
Carlos Slim, who has an estimated net worth of $70 billion, owns a controlling stake in TracFone, which makes $10 per phone for each device it provides to poor Americans. The company, whose president and CEO is Frederick “F.J.” Pollak, also makes money from extra minutes and data plans it sells to subscribers who get phones and service through the government's Lifeline program. The program, which began in the mid-1980s, has exploded in the past four years after being expanded from supplying landlines to the poor to providing cellular phones.

A Coment Worthy Of A Post 10-10-12

I remember when obammy first ran for pres.

He came out of nowhere, no one knew anything about him except he was a senator from Illinois.

We still to this day do not know anything about this man.

No one can say with certainty where he was born, who his parents are, if he is a muslim or not, or what he has done for (or to) this country, other than spend a whole lot of money and pass obamacare.

Seriously.

He has made claims to what he has done and is doing. He says he needs more time to finish what "we've" started.

I never liked him and never thought he would get elected in the first place.

Well, he got elected. I still don't like or trust him.

This country is in the toilet and he has got his hand on the chain.

If he gets elected again, I don't want to hear a word from a single solitary person.

If we can't come together in enough numbers to send this fraud packing, we are responsible for our own doom.

Enough with the pc bs. Enough with the racist bs.

This man(?) and his admin looked us right in the eye and LIED. Most recently about the embassy murders.

Not that I think Romney is that much better but, if we were to allow Obama to continue, that means we accept and condone everything he has done and will do.

I DO NOT.

I will not apologize for being an American.

This is my, our, country. Sure, I hate some of the things our government has done. May the Lord and the ones we have hurt forgive us.

If we cannot make peace with some people, and they insist on warring with us, let us utterly destroy them. No more politicians directing our wars and battles. That's what we have MARINE'S for.

We have to kick corporations out of government business also. And whoever said a corp. was a person needs to be slapped right across the lips.

Stop treating us CITIZENS like criminal subjects. Defend our borders. DO THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE!

And before any candidate puts their hand on the bible to take office, have them read the constitution and the bill of rights.

AND OBEY THEM!

Judge Considers Poultry Pollution Case

BALTIMORE — A battle between lawyers for environmentalists and the poultry industry continued today, as a long-running court case over water pollution came before a federal judge.

Assateague Coastkeeper Kathy Phillips was expected to testify about how she got the case started: By seeing a suspicious pile of what she thought was chicken manure on a farm and testing water in ditches surrounding the property.

A day earlier, lawyers for the Waterkeeper Alliance, farmers Alan and Kristin Hudson and chicken giant Perdue Farms opened what’s expected to be a three-week trial over whether the family farm is polluting the water and who is responsible.
Jane Barrett, a University of Maryland law professor representing the waterkeepers, argued that the case is about making sure rivers are clean so that people can enjoy them.
She mentioned several members of the Assateague Coastal Trust who care deeply about the Pocomoke River and the Chesapeake Bay and would be harmed by pollution from farms: A mom who won’t take Girl Scouts out on the water, a retiree who enjoys kayaking, a waterfowl guide who helps his waterman son.
Those people, Barrett said, are the reason lawyers are expected to spend three weeks in court discussing chicken manure and water pollution.
George Ritchie, a Baltimore attorney, countered that the real people who matter in the case are his clients: the Hudsons.
Ritchie recounted the lengthy history of the “real-life farm family” that’s now under immense stress due to the lawsuit.
Ritchie said the Hudsons — who have two kids and jobs besides their farming work — have been in “an almost three-year nightmare” since the lawsuit was filed.
In addition to alleging that chickens on the Hudsons’ farm are polluting the water, the Waterkeeper Alliance is trying to prove that some of the responsibility lies with Perdue Farms, the company that contracts the Hudsons to raise chickens.
The case was spurred by the coastkeeper, Phillips, who spotted a suspicious-looking pile on the Hudson Farm in late 2009.

Wynn On Obama: "I'll Be Damned If I Want To Have Him Lecture Me"

On the Tuesday broadcast of the nightly Nevada political program "Ralston Reports," Steve Wynn, CEO of Wynn Resorts sat down with host Jon Ralston to discuss the presidential election.

Wynn, an outspoken critic of President Obama, didn't hold back in his latest criticism of the incumbent president seeking a second term.

"I'll be damned if I want to have him lecture me about small business and jobs. I'm a job creator. Guys like me are job creators and we don't like having a bulls-eye painted on our back," Wynn said about Obama to Ralston. An excerpt of the interview is below.

FATHER OF FALLEN MARINE ANGRY OVER PRESIDENT OBAMA‘S ’DISRESPECTFUL’ CONDOLENCE LETTER: ‘WHERE IS THE HONOR?’

The father of a fallen Navy SEAL is angry about a “disrespectful” and impersonal condolence letter from President Barack Obama.
Tom Logan told KPRC   that the letter was “impersonal” and practically just a form letter. Further, KPRC discovered an additional condolence letter from Obama that is practically identical to the one sent to Tom Logan.
“It opened up a wound in our heart you can’t fix. You can’t send another letter. You can’t make it right,” the father said.

Where Have All The Campaign Signs Gone?

There's a month to go before the general election, but something is missing from campaigns this year: all those candidate signs along highway medians.

In past elections, candidates would clog the Fairfax County medians with dozens of colorful but distracting campaign signs. But this year both parties agreed to abide by a new law banning the signs along highway medians.

The agreement comes even though there's no mechanism in place to enforce the ban.

Boston-bound Yongda Huang Harris, 28, was arrested Friday on suspicion of transporting hazardous materials on a flight from Japan, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials said.

Harris was not cooperating with federal officials attempting to interview him, according to a U.S. official who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss an open investigation. The official said Harris is not believed to be linked to a terrorist organization, but his motive has not been determined.

CEO TELLS EMPLOYEES HE‘LL HAVE TO FIRE THEM IF PRESIDENT OBAMA’S RE-ELECTED

David Siegel, founder and CEO of Westgate Resorts, a Florida-based real estate and time share company, on Monday told employees in an email that he “will have no choice but to reduce the size of [the] company” if President Barack Obama is re-elected and raises taxes.
But before we go any further, it’s probably worth mentioning the fact that Siegel, who is also the subject of the documentary “The Queen of Versailles,  ” is a staunch Republican  . In fact, he claims he helped   sway the 2000 election in George W. Bush’s favor by making sure his conservative employees were all registered to vote.

Feds Will Pay For Jailed Terror Fiend’s Hands

We’re giving this hatemonger a hand — and probably two.
Taxpayers will foot the bill to replace radical Islamic preacher Abu Hamza al-Masri’s infamous hooks, The Post has learned.
And the cost — while not quite an arm and a leg — is expected to run up to $16,000 so the one-eyed, terror-loving thug can feed and clean himself in the slammer.
Al-Masri’s metal hooks were removed from his forearm stumps Friday night after he was handed over by the Brits to face terror-related charges in Manhattan federal court.

Muslim Religious Freedom vs. Catholic Religious Freedom

In his June 2009 Cairo speech to the Muslim world, President Obama declared that “it is important for Western countries to avoid impeding Muslim citizens from practicing religion as they see fit.” However, when it comes to Catholics and other persons of faith who object to being forced to pay for their employees’ birth control against their core religious convictions, Obama’s answer is that they are to practice their religion as he sees fit.
On the campaign trail, Obama proudly points to his Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Obamacare regulation requiring virtually all health-care plans to provide women with cost-free sterilization, contraceptives and abortifacients.

Could you please post his picture & my phone # in hopes of his owner seeing this?

ACLU Pressuring Vice Presidential Debate Moderator To Emphasize GOP ‘War On Women’

Vice President Joe Biden’s debate with Republican rival Paul Ryan will be dominated by questions about abortion and contraception if the American Civil Liberties Union’s attempts to pressure the debate moderator succeed.
“[N]o topic needs to be discussed more than where the candidates stand on women’s access to reproductive healthcare,” the ACLU writes in an email to supporters. “Tell Martha Raddatz, the debate moderator, to make sure a woman’s right to make her own personal and private decisions isn’t ignored when Joe Biden and Paul Ryan debate.”
The hook for the ACLU is that the topic did not come up during the first debate between President Obama and Mitt Romney. “This happened even though the war on women and its consequences have had devastating consequences for millions of women all across America,”the ACLU says  , before demanding Raddatz ensure that “access to abortion and contraception aren’t ignored in the Vice Presidential debate.”

WHITE HOUSE COMES CLEAN: NO PROTEST OUTSIDE LIBYA CONSULATE

Today marks the beginning of a major Congressional hearing on the terror attack In Libya and in a desperately transparent attempt to get ahead of damaging news, at the very last minute tonight, the State Department finally came clean:

In other words, absolutely everything we were told by our government -- by President Obama, Secretary of State Clinton, Ambassador Susan Rice. White House Spokesman Jay Carney, and any number of staffers and surrogates -- was 100% false.

There were no protests, no benign crowds exploited by local militias, and nothing had anything to do with a video. Our Ambassador, another diplomat, and two Navy SEALs  were murdered in a brutally efficient and coordinated terrorist attack.

You Can't Trust Official Statistics

All official, statist statistics are only about the subjects and categories, and use only operational definitions and procedures to construct those statistics, which are determined ultimately by the politicians who control the state. All official statistics are, thus, inherently biased by the powerful individuals who run the states, so official stats. vary wildly among nation-states and other political groups. In America, for example, there are massive official stats. on the deaths the state categorizes as due to drug uses defined by the state as "illegal," almost entirely those of poorer people. There are no official slats. on the deaths due to prescription drugs the state defines as legal, even though non-state studies show prescription drugs kill many times more Americans than the illegal drugs. Big Pharma. Corps. and doctors and the politicians they pay-off massively want to control non-pharmaceutifical drug uses to end them, not the immense drug uses of Big Pharma drugs. Only a tiny part of human experience is the subject of official stats., those parts that the state wants to know about in detail to control in some way for statist purposes. There are no official stats. on "paying officials bribes to get profitable legislation passed for the payers." There are massive official stats. on the knowledge of k-12 students. Where are the official stats. on "Ignorance of Officials."?

I started my Ph.D. study of suicides by going back and studying the history of official statistical data because almost all social science studies of suicide used the official, statist statistics on suicides uncritically [which no real scientist would do with any statistics]. I went back to the ancient world briefly [there is little info. on that] and began more detailed work on the tax roles from Medieval England, the moral statistics from the 17th century on in major states, and up to the modern states. When you study the origins of official stats. it is perfectly obvious they are created and collected for statist purposes and not for scientific purposes. They are obviously inherently biased by political power. Modern citizens and slaves who live inside these massive, bureaucratic states are controlled massively in a total-wrap-around way by the statist concepts and data the people of power create and use to control the citizens and slaves. As long as people live within those official data, they are being sub-consciously controlled by the people of power running the states.

Government Dependency Will End In Chaos

The media insists on characterizing statements about dependency on government handouts as controversial but in truth such statements are absolutely correct. It's not that nearly half of Americans are dependent on government; it's actually more than half. If one includes not just people on food stamps and welfare but also seniors on Medicare, Social Security and people employed by the government directly, the number is more like 165 million out of 308 million, which is 53%.

Some argue that Social Security and Medicare benefits are a right because people pay into these programs their whole lives, or that we need a government safety net in place for people who fall on hard times. However, this all becomes a moot point when the funds people depend on become worthless due to government default or rampant inflation.

This is less an issue of dignity or dependence on government, and more about the deceitfulness of government promises.

The Next "Model T"?

Eric Peters runs a great site; the info, ideas and discussions are simply outstanding IMO.
Here we get a two-fer.  Peters test-drives and reviews the 2013 Prius Plug-In hybrid and makes the bold statement that it might be the next generation “Model T.”  (Read the review here)  It isn’t perfect but it’s a real jump that could make the idea truly practical in a real sense.  FYI, he is no fan of hybrids/electric cars and his favorite ride is his classic Trans-Am.
Then his second article (below) is more of a response to the fact that the need for gasoline powered cars might actually hit an inflection point and asking the question, what will be the government’s response.
This is very intriging to me, I don’t believe for one second that the guv-thugs want fuel efficient cars because it will improve America.  They promote it to grift the hoi-polloi and trick the people to believe what isn’t true.  But what happens when it is true, the grift scheme they have been running becomes jeopardized.  Or does it just open the door to more taxation and even more control/monitoring?
So-called “smart meters” and “mileage taxes” replacing the “gas tax” of today is likely inevitable.

INVESTIGATION CONTINUES INTO DEATH OF INMATE

(CRESAPTOWN, MD) -- Maryland State Police homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the death of a state prison inmate who was found dead in his cell early this morning.

The victim is identified as Charles Richardson, 28, who was an inmate at the North Branch Correctional Institution in Allegany County. Richardson had been incarcerated in the Maryland Division of Correction since 2009 and was serving a sentence of life without parole for first degree murder, assault, and handgun violations.

At about 5:00 a.m. today, correctional officers observed an inmate outside his cell on a tier in possession of clothing that appeared to be bloodstained. Officers entered the inmate’s cell and found his cellmate, Richardson, lying under a blanket. Officers removed the blanket and saw the inmate had sustained trauma to his head.

Correctional officers provided emergency care and summoned medics. Medics from Cresaptown pronounced Richardson deceased at the scene.

State Police Homicide Unit investigators responded to the scene to conduct the investigation and were assisted by the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services Internal Investigative Unit. State Police crime scene technicians processed the scene and collected evidence that will be forwarded to the State Police Forensic Sciences Division laboratory. Investigators worked throughout the day conducting interviews and continuing the investigation.

The victim’s body has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore. An autopsy is expected to be conducted tomorrow.

A motive for the apparent murder has not been determined. No charges have been filed at this time.

Obama’s Fudged Unemployment Numbers

Official jobless statistics aren’t working

-The Washington Times
Friday, October 5, 2012
It says a lot when a government jobs report is so out of line with reality that no thoughtful person can take it seriously. At best the new unemployment number is a fluke; at worst it is the product of partisan hacks.
The Department of Labor reported Friday that total nonfarm payroll employment increased by a net 114,000 in September. This poor showing — it reflects a 28,000 drop from the previous month — should have resulted in unemployment increasing by a tenth of a percent. Instead, it dropped by 0.3 percent to 7.8 percent. Call that Chicago-style math.
The official jobless rate is now down to around where it was when Mr. Obama took office, though still higher than what the White House promised it would be after blowing more than a trillion on stimulus programs. Former General Electric CEO Jack Welch was among the first to call shenanigans on the dramatically favorable unemployment figure, echoing a general skepticism from all but the most credulous of Mr. Obama’s defenders.
Labor Secretary Hilda Solis said she was “insulted” by charges that there was something fishy going on. She then betrayed her own ignorance of the facts by saying the 86,000 jobs that the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) discovered in the last two months were private-sector jobs. They were actually government hires. Private-sector employment fell last month by a net of 5,000. Manufacturing jobs were down 16,000. Mrs. Solis threw her underlings under the bus, saying “the information that I received is given to me by our professional, civil service staff in the BLS.” Perhaps these are the same BLS economists whom the Washington Free Beacon reports have contributed thousands to the Obama campaign.
This fudged figure allowed Mr. Obama to evade the sort of negative headlines that George H.W. Bush suffered in October 1992 when unemployment was 7.7 percent. Bill Clinton called it the worst economic record of any president in 50 years. Reuters described the 1992 report as “the final nail in the coffin” for George H.W. Bush. The same news service hailed Mr. Obama’s 7.8 percent number as “providing a boost to his re-election bid.” The liberal press seems to have mislaid its coffin nails.
There’s good reason to question the latest fantasy figure. The U-6 unemployment rate, which factors out low-paying, part-time jobs, remains lodged at 14.7 percent. Thepercentage of long-term unemployed is four times what it was five years agoThere are still 10 million fewer jobs than at the start of the recession. The number of new weekly jobless claims is up. The number of people on unemployment benefits and food stamps is at record levels. People know in their gut that things aren’t getting better. On main street America, “for lease” signs have replaced grand opening signs. Many malls are vacant and warehouses empty. Middle-class Americans see shrinking paychecks and a rising cost of living. A single massaged, distorted and misleading government datum doesn’t change any of that.

Wells Fargo Lawsuit: U.S. Sues Bank Alleging Civil Mortgage Fraud

Wells Fargo lied about the quality of thousands of loans it certified for a federal insurance program, a decision that ultimately cost the government $190 million in claims when those loans failed, according to a civil lawsuit filed by federal prosecutors on Tuesday.
From Jan. 1, 2002 through Dec. 31, 2010, Wells Fargo intentionally concealed the problems with 6,320 loans it had determined were "seriously deficient" from the Federal Housing Administration, which insured the loans, according to the complaint filed in Manhattan federal district court. The bank didn't report the problems with the loans even after its own risk department conducted reviews that according to one bank employee, unearthed "a dirty underbelly of bad loan officers," the lawsuit claims.

CBS REPORTER LARA LOGAN RAILS AGAINST ‘MAJOR LIE’ OF LAST TWO YEARS IN CANDID SPEECH: ISLAMISTS ARE STILL STRONG AS EVER

Blaze readers are likely familiar with CBS correspondent, Lara Logan, the wartime journalist who endured a horrific ordeal in Egypt last summer when she was beaten and sexually assaulted by a mob of angry Egyptian men during their Arab Spring “celebrations.” Now, Logan has a message for the public: “they” (the Taliban and other Islamic operatives) are as strong as ever.
During a recent keynote address at the Better Government Association annual luncheon last Tuesday, Logan delivered what the Chicago Sun Times called “a provocative speech” to some 1,100 movers in government, politics, media, and the legal and corporate arenas. She explained that the Taliban, al Qaeda and its proxies haven’t gone away and are in fact re-energized and coming back in force. Logan also informed the crowd that a “lie” is being propagated by the American government.
“I chose this subject because, one, I can’t stand, that there is a major lie being propagated…” Logan announced. The lie is that the U.S. military has tamed the Taliban.
“There is this narrative coming out of Washington for the last two years,” Logan began. It is driven in part by “Taliban apologists,“ who claim ”they are just the poor moderate, gentler, kinder Taliban.”
“It’s such nonsense!”

Maryland Gets Pummeled Again In Prominent Business Climate Index

Annapolis - Change Maryland responded to the Tax Foundation's annual release today of the 2013 State Business Climate Tax Index,  a widely-watched barometer of states' ability to attract companies and jobs.

Maryland's ranking of 41 again makes the dubious list of the 10 lowest ranked, or worst, states in the country.

"Since 2007, in addition to losing 6,500 small businesses, Maryland has lost 31,000 residents of tax-paying households and 36,000 jobs, said Change Maryland Chairman Larry Hogan. "It's no coincidence that our lopsided tax code is causing this weakness in economic performance."

Under Governor Martin O'Malley, taxes and fees have been raised 24 times, removing an additional $2.4 billion out of the economy each year.

The non-partisan Tax Foundation compares corporate, individual income, sales, unemployment insurance and property taxes among the 50 states.

DO YOU BELIEVE THE BLS GOVERNMENT DRONES OR SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS?

Small businesses drive employment in this country. Mega-corporations aren’t hiring in the U.S. – they are hiring in China. Our trusted and beloved government drones at the BLS reported that we added over 800,000 jobs in September. These people had to have been hired by small business owners. But wait. Small business owners were surveyed and reported they fired more employees in September than they hired. Their sales suck. How many businesses hire more employees when their sales suck? The MSM spent the entire weekend trying to debunk those who questioned the BLS drivel that was reported on Friday. They have failed. This morning’s survey proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that the BLS numbers are a complete fabrication, created by their little excel spreadsheet regression model. I live in the real world where the economy is in recession and the middle class continues to get fucked up the ass. How about you?

Hiring Plans Plunge: Small Business Optimism Drops 0.1

Expectations for the Future Remain Low

September was another month of low expectations and pessimism for the small-business community, with the NFIB Small Business Optimism Index losing 0.1 points and falling to 92.8. The recession-level reading was pulled down by a deterioration in labor market indicators, with job creation plans plunging 6 points, job openings falling one point and more firms reporting decreases in employment than those reporting increases in employment. Since the commencement of NFIB’s monthly surveys in 1986, the Index has been below 93.0 a total of 56 times; 32 of which have occurred since the recovery began in June 2009.
