FAA Scolds Passenger For Using iPad To Shoot Video Of Bird Strike

Remember that bird strike in April that forced a Delta flight to make an emergency landing? The actual incident was caught on video by author Grant Cardone, who is now on some FAA "you're a troublemaker" list because he shot that video when his iPad was supposed to be turned off.

Hamas-linked CAIR Sued For Restricting the Freedom of Speech

ANN ARBOR, MI – In the middle of an event to extol the virtues of the U.S. Constitution and “American Laws For American Courts,” the audience learned first-hand how easy it is to lose their freedom of Speech and Assembly. Amid shouts of “What about free speech?” from the audience, the Allegan Police Department ordered the event shut-down.   School officials notified police that they had received a letter complaining about the event from Dawud Walid, Executive Director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MI).   The letter asked the school to disallow the event despite an existing contract.  CAIR was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism funding trial in U. S. history, U.S. v. Holy Land Foundation.

As a result, the Thomas More Law Center (TMLC), a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, announced yesterday that the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR- MI), its Executive Director, the City of Allegan, theAllegan Police Department and the School District were named as defendants in a thirty-four page civil rights lawsuit filed in the Federal District Court for the Western District of Michigan, this morning. The claims included constitutional and contract violations.

Rodney King, Obama and the Looting of America

Riots are the exclusive domain of those who view themselves as outside the law. Whether they are outside the law because they are above or below the law is a matter of perspective. The rioters may see themselves as the oppressed and below the law, while their victims tend to think of them as above the law, with the power to rob and kill, without paying any significant price for it. All that is true whether we are talking about Russian peasants killing Jews, Indonesians killing ethnic Chinese or African-Americans killing whites.

The riot is usually directed at the authorities or some vulnerable group, sometimes both, but invariably one of them takes precedence. The authorities prefer that they direct their rage at a conveniently vulnerable group and afterward the vulnerable group takes the blame for the violence directed at them. The rioters treat those few of their number who were killed in the looting spree as martyrs, while the rioted-upon pick up the broken glass and try to reopen their stores again.

Minorities rarely riot against majorities for the practical reason that rioters are cowards and they want to have the numbers on their side. A riot is less often a symptom of injustice and more often a sign that they have the numbers and all they need is a pretext to go out for a fine day of looting and maiming. A riot isn’t a response to injustice; it’s a power play by people who believe that they are above the law and that their victims are outnumbered.

MoveOn’s Quest to Outlaw the Term “Illegal Immigrant”

Just when you would think that the far Left Obama booster organization MoveOn.org could not get any more ridiculous, it sinks to ever lower levels of absurdity.  The latest example involves MoveOn’s push to render the phrase “illegal aliens” or “illegal immigrants” hate speech.

A video posted last week at MoveOn.org’s website charges that calling illegal immigrants “illegal” fits the definition of a hate crime and calls for the word “illegal” to be abolished when describing individuals entering the United States illegally.  They would prefer using adjectives such as “undocumented” immigrants or “unauthorized” immigrants.  That is sort of like calling a bank robber an unauthorized withdrawer. How about working to eliminate incentives for the illegal behavior itself rather than focus on banning its correct characterization?

“No human being is illegal,” intones MoveOn.org. True, but human beings can and do perform illegal acts.

It Does Not Matter Where You Live, Come On In

Hi Joe,

SOOOO Glad you are running for Mayor!!! I have a vacation day tomorrow and was wondering if I could possibly stop in and get shirts for my husband and I. We do not live in city limits (thank goodness) but we would love to campaign for you! Ireton needs to go! I think you would be a wonderful Mayor, one who can be decisive and fair at the same time.

Publisher's Notes: Mayor Ireton and the nay sayers have to be shaking in their boots. The response to my tee shirts alone is sending a very loud and very clear message, Salisbury Residents want CHANGE and NOT the Obama kind of change.

For the very first time citizens will have the opportunity to have someone represent them without special interests. A representative that has been to the majority of council meetings, press conferences, someone who knows the pulse of their side and more importantly, YOUR SIDE. A person who knows and understands what's been going on for many years.

I have people coming to my building and in some cases lining up to get a shirt and talk about issues. WE, (you and I) WILL make a difference, finally! Oh, you can expect them to get nasty. You can expect them to do and say just about ANYTHING to bring US down but we're not going to let it happen. They have bullied me, they have sued me, they have threatened me, they have brought my Family into it and trust me, I'm not the first person they've gone after. I'm just the FIRST person who stood up to the nay sayers and beat them each and every time and WE will do it again.

This election will be about WE THE PEOPLE and as a team we cannot be stopped. So yes, they're shaking in their boots because we have a following like no other. We do NOT need the rest of the MSM to help us win this election. We have our own platform through Salisbury News in which we can express our message.

So come and see me. It does NOT matter if you live in the City, the County, Ocean City, WE need to spread the word. WE need to let them know WE are NOT going to get beat down again with nasty rumors and attacks.

If you want a better Salisbury, a Mayor that will represent YOU, a Mayor who has no interest in photo ops, press conferences or personal attacks like calling Council Members racists, stop by 300 W. Main Street and get your free tee shirt and let these special interests know we're NOT going to take it any more.

If you want me to represent you as your Mayor, show your support like so many others already have. We'll have bumper stickers any day now. I've spend 8 years of my life dedicated to helping you with a voioce through Salisbury News. Get a shirt. Get a bumper sticker. It's time we stand up and fight back.

Democratic West Virginia Governor Won’t Endorse Obama

Despite narrowly electing Democratic Senator Joe Manchin in 2010, West Virginia has trended steadily more Republican ever since. And now, the shift in zeitgeist has apparently tricked up, as the state’s Democratic Governor has announced that he will not endorse President Obama for reelection, while also stopping just short of endorsing Mitt Romney.

Talk about a knife in the back. CNS News reports:

West Virginia’s Democratic Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin said he is not endorsing President Barack Obama for re-election, saying the president “has apparently made it his mission to drive the backbone of West Virginia’s economy, coal and the energy industry, out of business.”

Special Report: U.S. Documents Allege HSBC Money-Laundering Lapses

(Reuters) - In April 2003, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and New York state bank regulators cracked the whip on HSBC Bank USA, ordering it to do a better job of policing itself for suspicious money flows. Staff in the bank's anti-money laundering division, according to a person who worked there at the time, flew into a "panic."

The U.S. unit of London-based HSBC Holdings Plc quickly rallied. It hired a tough federal prosecutor to oversee anti-money laundering efforts. It installed monitoring systems for operations that had grown unwieldy during the bank's U.S. expansion. The aim, as HSBC said in an agreement with regulators at the time, was to "ensure that the bank fully addresses all deficiencies in the bank's anti-money laundering policies and procedures."

Nearly a decade later, the effort has failed to satisfy law-enforcement officials.

The extent of that failure is laid out in confidential documents reviewed by Reuters that originate from investigations of HSBC's U.S. operations by two U.S. Attorneys' offices.

'Supermoon': The Largest Full Moon of 2012 This Saturday

A rare "Supermoon" event will fill the skies this Saturday over Baltimore.  The lunar event will begin shortly after 8PM EST and will officially become full at 11:35PM ET.  Space.com says the moon will swing in 221,802 miles (356,955 kilometers) from our planet allowing for a spectacular view of the moon. The combination of this month's full moon event coinciding with the moon's perigee -its closest approach to Earth- will make it the largest full moon of the year.

This month's full moon is due to be about 16 percent brighter than average.

While above average lunar activity has been linked to abnormal tides, scientists say there is no reason for alarm. The slight distance difference isn't enough to cause geological events or extreme tidal effects.  Low tide at Fort McHenry during the event will be the lowest Sunday morning at 12:37am.

When Jonathan Frederick Will was born 40 years ago — on May 4, 1972, his father’s 31st birthday — the life expectancy for people with Down syndrome was about 20 years. That is understandable.

According to WCBS, the mother of five has admitted to bringing her daughter into the tanning salon room with her last month, but said she never allowed her daughter to get into the booth.

“It didn’t happen,” Krentcil told the station. “She’s six years old. Yes, she does go tanning with mommy, but not in the booth.”

But that’s not what prosecutors are saying: They claim Krentcil took Anna right into the tanning booth, which caused a sunburn. When a school nurse asked the girl about the mark, she answered: “I go tanning with mommy.”

Terror Law Cited as Funds to Abortionists Blocked

An appellate court judge in Texas has ruled that the state can halt funds to Planned Parenthood, after the state attorney general argued that sending the abortion business money was analogous to supporting a terror organization.

The resulting brouhaha has left the AG’s office explaining that it was an analogy, not a direct comparison, while others are suggesting that the state official was more right than wrong.

“Texas did not state, and does not believe, that Planned Parenthood is a terrorist organization or comparable to one. Period,” said a statement from the office of Attorney General Greg Abbott after the controversy erupted.

Maryland Miffed By Negativity

WASHINGTON — Maryland Treasurer Nancy Kopp has been a force on her state’s political scene for decades, but the veteran politician doesn’t mince words when it comes to the negative outlook a major rating agency has put on the Old Line State's triple-A credit rating.

“We have a diverse economy,” said Kopp. “People think of us as basically a [federal] government state, I think.”

Moody's Investors Service placed Maryland on negative outlook, while still awarding its general obligation bonds a triple-A rating, because of the state’s high reliance on federal jobs at a time when there is budget pressure to downsize government spending.

The District of Columbia carries the same negative outlook, as does Virginia. The outlook particularly affects Maryland, which issues more general obligation bonds than many states, according to Kopp.

Sailors Meet At Pearl Harbor Over Drugs

More than 400 sailors met at Pearl Harbor Tuesday to learn about the risks of synthetic drug abuse and the Navy's related policies and programs. Spice is a synthetic drug intended to give a similar effect to marijuana. It's more potent than it's organic counterpart though — 200 times more according to the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery. Plus, the blend of chemicals used in the drug are constantly being manipulated so it's hard to know exactly what you're getting. Command Master Chief Marc Sibal said he has seen 20 to 30 Spice-related cases since he arrived at Commander Navy Region Hawaii in 2010.

Derek McCoy, Executive Director of the Maryland Marriage Alliance tells WBAL Radio he is excited about the progress the group has been making.  And McCoy believes they will reach the required number of signatures earlier than June.

Tracking Bacteria In Meat

The Agriculture Department will revamp how it tracks dangerous bacteria in meat. Its goal is to find sources of E-coli faster, and speed up the recall of tainted meat. Inspectors will begin tracing the source of potential contamination at the first positive test. They won't wait for further testing, the procedure now in place. That would let inspectors find E-coli sources two days sooner than they can now. The change comes as National Barbecue Month gets underway.

When did it become OK for Americans not to work?

My neighbor left his supermarket job and now gets a regular government check. In other words, he quit the work force and now feeds from the public trough.

He is healthy, and knows I do not approve of his sloth.

I wonder if my disdain for this scoundrel is fair or shared. When did it become okay for Americans not to work? Recently, Charles Murray, author of "Coming Apart: The State of White America, 1960 – 2010," wrote in the Wall Street Journal:

“It must once again be taken for granted that a male in the prime of life who isn't even looking for work is behaving badly. There can be exceptions for those who are genuinely unable to work or are house husbands. But reasonably healthy working-age males who aren't working or even looking for work, who live off their girlfriends, families or the state, must once again be openly regarded by their fellow citizens as lazy, irresponsible and unmanly. Whatever their social class, they are, for want of a better word, bums.”

Networks Huffed Over Bush's 'Presidential Shell Game'; No Complaints for Obama's Secret Trip

The same networks that huffed and whined about George W. Bush's secret trip to Iraq over Thanksgiving in 2003, calling it an "embarrassing" "presidential shell game," had no such harsh language for Barack Obama's clandestine visit to Afghanistan on Tuesday.

Jake Tapper on Wednesday deemed the visit simply a "surprise." On CBS This Morning, Scott Pelley proclaimed it "remarkable," insisting, "These things are always kept secret, in the Bush administration, in the Obama administration, until the President arrives safely."  Yet, on the November 30, 2003 CBS Evening News, Mark Knoller bitterly complained, "It was professionally embarrassing to be clueless...And from now on when I report that the president is at his ranch, neither you nor I will be sure of it."

How did Knoller react on Tuesday? He registered no complaints, mildly tweeting, "Pres. Obama left Washington last night under cover of darkness from Joint Base Andrews a little after midnight."

On the November 30, 2003 Meet the Press, Mike Allen (then of the Washington Post), griped about Bush's surprise visit to Iraq: "The reporters who joined us at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, their phones were confiscated. So we really did have a bag pulled over us."

The President's Private War

Did you know that the United States government is using drones to kill innocent people in Pakistan? Did you know that the Pakistani government has asked President Obama to stop it and he won't? Did you know that Pakistan is a sovereign country that has nuclear weapons and is an American ally?

Last week, the Obama administration not only acknowledged the use of the drones; it also revealed that it has plans to increase the frequency and ferocity of the attacks. White House counterterrorism adviser John O. Brennan argued that these attacks are "in full accordance with the law" and are not likely to be stopped anytime soon.

Brennan declined to say how many people were killed or just where the killings took place or who is doing it. But we know that Obama has a morbid fascination with his plastic killing machines, and we know that these machines are among the favored tools of the CIA. We also know that if the president had been using the military to do this, he'd be legally compelled to reveal it to Congress and eventually to seek permission.

SHERRY IN SOUTH CAROLINA: Did they give it to anyone?

SHARPTON: As far as I know his heart was not donated to anyone, I have not heard that from the family at all. But I know Dick Cheney didn't get it.

Bodacious Back-Alley Booties Can Have Deadly Consequences

"They're very secretive, they won't reveal the source."

INFAMOUS NARCISSISTS: HITLER, STALIN, MANSON, OBAMA

Interesting analysis from the http://www.economicnoise.com/ website. How much damage will Obama do in the next five years? How much damage did Hitler, Stalin and manso do? There’s your answer.

Dr. Sam Vaknin is an Israeli psychologist. Interesting view on our president.
Dr. Vaknin has written extensively about narcissism.

Dr. Vaknin States “I must confess I was impressed by Obama from the
first time I saw him. At first I was excited to see a black candidate.
He looked youthful, spoke well, appeared to be confident — a
wholesome presidential package. I was put off soon, not just because
of his shallowness but also because there was an air of haughtiness in
his demeanor that was unsettling.. His posture and his body language
were louder than his empty words. Obama’s speeches are unlike any
political speech we have heard in American history. Never a
politician in this land had such quasi “religious” impact on so many
people.

The fact that Obama is a total incognito with Zero accomplishment,
makes this inexplicable infatuation alarming. Obama is not an ordinary
man. He is not a genius. In fact he is quite ignorant on most
important subjects.”

Dr. Sam Vaknin, the author of the Malignant Self Love believes “Barack
Obama appears to be a narcissist.” Vaknin is a world authority on
narcissism. He understands narcissism and describes the inner mind of
a narcissist like no other person. When he talks about narcissism
everyone listens. Vaknin says that Obama’s language, posture and
demeanor, and the testimonies of his closest, dearest friends suggest
that the man is either a narcissist or he may have narcissistic
personality disorder (NPD).

Narcissists project a grandiose but false image of themselves. Jim
Jones, the charismatic leader of People’s Temple , the man who led over
900 of his followers to cheerfully commit mass suicide and even murder
their own children was also a narcissist. David Koresh, Charles
Manson, Joseph Koni, Shoko Asahara, Stalin, Saddam, Mao, Kim Jong Ill
and Adolph Hitler are a few examples of narcissists of our time. All
these men had a tremendous influence over their fanciers. They created
a personality cult around themselves and with their blazing speeches
elevated their admirers, filled their hearts with enthusiasm and
instilled in their minds a new zest for life. They gave them hope!
They promised them the moon, but alas, invariably they brought them to
their doom.

When you are a victim of a cult of personality, you don’t know it
until it is too late. One determining factor in the development of NPD
is childhood abuse “Obama’s early life was decidedly chaotic and
replete with traumatic and mentally bruising dislocations,”says
Vaknin. “Mixed-race marriages were even less common then. His parents
went through a divorce when he was an infant two years old. Obama saw
his father only once again, before he died in a car accident. Then his
mother re-married and Obama had to relocate to Indonesia , a foreign
land with a radically foreign culture, to be raised by a step-father.
At the age of ten, he was whisked off to live with his maternal
(white) grandparents. He saw his mother only intermittently in the
following few years and then she vanished from his life in 1979. “She
died of cancer in 1995.”

Muslim, Mormon Growth Spurts Found

Mormonism and Islam are among the fastest growing religions in America, while just over half of all Americans are unaffiliated with any denomination, according to a major census of the country’s religious congregations published Wednesday.

The decennial census, released by the Association of Statisticians of American Religious Bodies in Chicago, found that the U.S. Muslim community had increased 160 percent from approximately 1 million in 2000 to 2.6 million in 2010.

There are 6.1 million U.S. members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, more commonly known as the Mormons, up 45 percent for the same period; and there are 1 million Buddhists, located mostly in the western part of the country. Mormonism, founded in upstate New York, is spread throughout the nation, although 1 in 3 members of the LDS Church live in Utah, the study revealed.

The Obama Recovery Persists At Least Until After The Election ... And Then Watch Out!

U.S. Manufacturing Grows at Fastest Pace in a Year ... Manufacturing grew in April at the fastest pace in almost a year, propelled by a pickup in orders that signaled factories will remain a source of strength for the U.S. expansion. The Institute for Supply Management's factory index climbed to 54.8 last month, exceeding the most optimistic forecast in a Bloomberg News survey and the best reading since June, the Tempe, Arizona-based group's report showed today ... The world's largest economy may pick up after slowing in the first three months of the year as the increase in bookings indicates American assembly lines will keep churning out more goods. Combined with a report showing manufacturing in China also accelerated, the figures sent the Dow Jones Industrial Average to the highest level since 2007 as the data eased concern global growth was slackening. – Bloomberg

Dominant Social Theme: Wow, America's had a tough time, but now things are getting better.

Free-Market Analysis: Just in time for Barack Obama's re-election, as we've pointed out previously, the entire American economy is taking a tremendous uptick.

We know this is so because we read about it in the mainstream media. It actually appears to us to be part of a larger elite dominant social theme – a kind of promotion elevating the chances of Barack Obama's re-election.

Is Barack Obama such an important man? We believe that the US – and the world, really – is run by larger, shadowy mercantilist interests that utilize government for their own purposes.

The monetary mechanism itself is central banking and the trillions in cash these entities throw off. At the beginning of the past century there were only a few central banks and today there are about 150.

Lost Dog In Berlin Area

Hello,

I was told that you often post to help people find lost dogs, and I am in need of some help.

I am visiting my family here in Berlin, MD from Boston with my dog Huck. He is an 8 month old Lab Beagle Mix who had yet to experience a thunderstorm. Yesterday morning around 8:30am, he heard his first clap of thunder and bolted away from my family's farm on Griffin Rd in Berlin, off Friendship rd. across route 50 from Stephen Decatur High School.

He is very friendly, loves people, and food!

BALTIMORE - A federal judge's approval of a monitoring agreement between the owners of the Sparrows Point steel plant and environmental regulators is being appealed by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, the environmental group announced Wednesday.

In March, U.S. District Judge J. Frederick Motz approved the agreement between RG Steel and federal and state regulators. Under the agreement, which followed a lengthy dispute over monitoring for toxic contaminants at the mill outside Baltimore, the company is required to sample sediments no more than 50 feet offshore. Environmentalists have argued contaminants have been found much further offshore.

The foundation said it was seeking a much more comprehensive assessment in Bear Creek and the Patapsco River near the hulking Baltimore County mill.

A Taste Of Realism

I wonder what purpose the public schools serve, other than to warehouse children while their parents work or watch television. They certainly don’t teach much, as survey after survey shows. Is there any particular reason for having them? Apart from their baby-sitting function, I mean.

Schooling, sez me, should be adapted to the needs and capacities of those being schooled. For unintelligent children, the study of anything beyond minimal reading is a waste of time, since they will learn little or nothing more. For the intelligent, a public schooling is equivalent to tying an anchor to a student swimmer. The schools are an impediment to learning, a torture of the bright, and a form of negligent homicide against a country that needs trained minds in a competitive world.

People Are Freaking Out Over Obama Supposedly Admitting He Made Up His Ex-Girlfriend

For the sake of compression, let's look at this passage from Barack Obama's "Dreams from My Father":

“For the sake of compression, some of the characters that appear are composites of people, I’ve known, and some events appear out of precise chronology. With the exception of my family and a handful of public figures, the names of most characters have been changed for the sake of privacy.”

Go find it. It's on Page XVII, everyone.

Now, this is a story today because Vanity Fair published an excerpt of David Maraniss' forthcoming biography of Obama, entitled "Barack Obama: The Story."

In it, Maraniss explains how one of Obama's recollections in his memoir — about visiting an ex-girlfriend's family in Norfolk, Conn. and some conclusions he drew from it about the differences in their background — led to a differing account and remembrance from an ex-girlfriend, Genevieve Cook. He interviewed Obama about this, and Obama said it was an example of one of the "compressions" he specified in his memoir.

That wasn't reflected in this Politico story, which reported that "Obama makes no mention of this compression." And that Politico story led to this:

Soros Liberal Front Group Asks FCC to Cancel Fox Television's Licenses

The Hill reports that Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington is asking the Federal Communications to cancel Fox's broadcasting licenses in the United States because of the phone hacking scandal involving a newspaper owned by a sister company utterly separate from it in the United Kingdom.

Calling CREW merely an “ethics watchdog group,” The Hill reports that CREW “sent a letter to FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski on Tuesday, arguing that U.S. law states that broadcast airwaves shall only be licensed to people of 'good character' and used 'in the public interest'.”

Lost Faith: Young And Old Reject The Two Political Parties

Ron Paul is getting a hearing from young voters and old ones. Both age groups think the two major parties are corrupt.

This is not limited to the United States. Across Europe, the established parties are facing revolts.
This is a prelude to real political change. The voters did not care until it hit their wallets. Now they care. Too late. The politicians ran up the debts. These debts are coming due. No one has a solution.

There is only one solution: the Great Default. It’s coming.

In the meantime, the political parties face defections. Voters have lost faith. They see the politicians as liars, which in fact they are.

Fort 36 years, Ron Paul alone told the truth. That’s why he draws crowds. That’s why the Establishment fears him. He beat the system. He is creating the foundation of a grassroots take-over of the Republican Party.

In Europe, there are nationalist parties. They are not committed to free entereprise. No party in Europe is. So, European voters are stuck.

Many analysts (some in the mainstream) have attempted to write about and discuss this very real sociopolitical ideology in a plain and exploratory manner, using a fair hand and supporting data, only to be attacked, ridiculed, or completely ignored before they get a chance to put forward their work. The reason is quite simple; much of the general public has been mentally inoculated against the very whisper of the terminology. That is to say, they have been conditioned to exhibit a negative reaction to such discussion instinctively without even knowing why.

Some of this conditioning is accomplished through the stereotyping of New World Order researchers as “conspiracy theorists” (another term for loony) grasping at fantasies in a desperate bid for “attention”, or, as confused individuals who attempt to apply creative logic to a mad chaotic world swirling on the periphery of a great void of coincidence and chance. I know this because I used to be one amongst the naive herd of “rationalists”, and I and many I knew used the same shallow arguments to dismiss every cold hard fact on the NWO that we happened upon. After seeing the conspiracy crowd made iconic and ridiculous in hundreds if not thousands of books, movies, TV shows, commercials, and news specials, it becomes difficult for many to enter into the topic without a severe bias already implanted in their heads.

Another circumstance that leads to the immediate dismissal of NWO research is, ironically, the lack of open discussion on the subject. Yes, it’s a chicken and egg sort of thing. If more people were less afraid to shine a floodlight on the truth of the matter, more people, in turn, would be more willing to absorb it. And, if more unaware people were willing to listen to the information with an open mind, more people with knowledge would be willing to share it. The psychological barrier to the information, therefore, is not based on any legitimate argument against the existence of the NWO. Instead, people refuse to listen because they fear to embrace concepts personally that they believe are not yet embraced by the majority.

Reminder: F.I.N. Numbers Available With Recreational Fishing License Purchase

DOVER – Since 2009, recreational anglers fishing Delaware waters have been required to obtain a Delaware Fisherman Information Network (F.I.N.) number. Since last year, the required F.I.N. number is generated automatically on all individual fishing licenses sold through Delaware’s electronic licensing systems.

“This system makes getting your license and your F.I.N. number a one-stop process for most anglers purchasing a Delaware recreational fishing license,” said Fisheries Administrator John Clark.

License buyers will be asked to provide basic information and complete a five-question survey to receive their F.I.N. number as part of their fishing license. The F.I.N. number appears on individual recreational fishing licenses next to the signature of the license holder, and must be in the angler’s possession while actively fishing.

Some anglers must still visit www.delaware-fin.com or call 800-432-9228 toll-free to obtain a free F.I.N. number: license-exempt anglers, including Delaware residents 65 and older; non-resident boat fishing license holders who do not have an individual license; and individuals fishing on licensed boats who do not have an individual license.

Generally, a fishing license is required for anglers age 16 and older, and must be in the possession of anglers who are fishing, crabbing or clamming in all Delaware waters, including both tidal and non-tidal areas. A resident fishing license costs $8.50 and a non-resident license costs $20 per year.

Ron Paul Wins Louisiana And Massachusetts Caucuses

Texas Congressman and Obstetrician Ron Paul “dominated” the Louisiana presidential caucuses April 28, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. Paul supporters also out-organized the presumed GOP presidential nominee in caucuses in former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney's home state of Massachusetts, and Paul supporters took over the Alaska Republican Party the same day.

The Times-Picayune reported that “under party rules, Paul is guaranteed at least 17 of the 46 delegates to the convention at which Romney will almost certainly be nominated for president.” The final tally will likely be even stronger, as Paul – who lost popular votes in caucuses states such as Iowa and Minnesota, but emerged with a clear majority of delegates – will likely out-organize remaining rival Romney. Louisiana is also a primary state. Based on their performance in the primary, 10 of the delegates are guaranteed to primary winner and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum, while five delegates are guaranteed to Mitt Romney (who placed second in the primary).

Environmental, Health Insurance Bills Become Md. Law

Gov. Martin O'Malley signed bills into law on Wednesday, including legislation that will limit use of septic systems and double the state’s so-called “flush tax.”

Mr. O'Malley, a Democrat, joined Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller Jr. and House Speaker Michael E. Busch at the bill signing where they signed nearly 300 bills passed during this year’s General Assembly session.

The septic and flush tax bills were among several notable pieces of environmental legislation.

The septic bill requires counties to set guidelines limiting installation of septic systems in larger residential developments, while the flush tax bill will double the state’s Bay Restoration Fund fee to pay for upgrades to sewage treatment plants.

Obama IRS refunds 'Illegals' $4.2 billion for kids--in Mexico

This bombshell dropped on Monday in Washington, D.C., causing outrage throughout the halls of Congress, and now beyond, to the "genuine" taxpayers who have been robbed all across America.
Investigative television reporter Bob Segall of Indianapolis NBC affiliate WTHR TV Channel 13, was contacted by a long-time central Indiana tax preparer, who blew the whistle on a multi-billion dollar tax fraud about which the IRS has done nothing, according to the TV news show video segment that aired on Monday.
"There is not a doubt in my mind there's huge fraud taking place here," he said, slowly flipping through the pages of a [heavily redacted] tax return.

"We're talking about a multi-billion dollar fraud scheme here that's taking place and no one is talking about it," he said.
The scheme involves illegal immigrants that are filing tax returns, claiming child credits for multiple dependents under their support in "their" U.S. household, and collecting enormous cash refunds--such as one persons tax return that showed income of over $14,000, who collected a cash refund of over $10,300.

MARYLAND STATE POLICE REMIND MOTORISTS MAY IS MOVE OVER MONTH - YEAR ROUND

(PIKESVILLE, MD) – In an effort to drive home the message of year round safety of Maryland’s emergency responders, the Maryland State Police remind motorists that May is Move Over Month.

As part of the effort to boost awareness of the ‘move over’ law, a decal, provided by the Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund (MAIF) was unveiled at a press conference earlier this year. The decal reads, “If I’m on the Shoulder, Slow Down and Move Over” and serves as a reminder for drivers approaching from the rear of an emergency vehicle using visual signals while stopped on a highway to, if possible, make a lane change into an available lane not immediately adjacent to the emergency vehicle or slow down to a reasonable prudent speed. Although state troopers will display the decal on their patrol cars for the month of May, the intended message will ultimately last a lifetime.

The intent of Maryland’s ‘move over’ law is to provide an extra barrier of safety for police officers, firefighters, and emergency rescue personnel working along Maryland roads. “Roadside safety is a serious concern for all emergency responders,” said State Police Superintendent Marcus L. Brown, “Ideally, our motoring public will make it a habit to slow down and/or move over when they see those flashing red or blue emergency lights ahead, then the near misses and brushes with death could be avoided.”

Although the ‘move over’ law was passed in October 2010, the need to promote awareness of the law is still evident. In January of 2012, two separate incidents sent police officers to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with injuries.

On the morning of January 15, Trooper First Class Jason James, assigned to the Golden Ring Barrack, was transported to Shock Trauma after being struck by a passing motorist while working a traffic stop. On the morning of January 22, a Howard County Police officer, a person he had in custody and the driver who hit them suffered injuries, after the motorist failed to slow down and move over. All three individuals were transported to the Shock Trauma Center for treatment.

Violation of the ‘move over’ law is a primary offense with a fine of $110 and one point. If the violation contributes to a traffic crash, the fine is $150 and three points. If the violation contributes to a traffic crash resulting in death or serious injury, the fine escalates to $750 and three points.

Statistics indicate more than 150 U.S. law enforcement officers have been killed since 1999 after being struck by vehicles along America's highways. To date, forty-three Maryland State Troopers have been killed in the line of duty and three of them have been killed by motor vehicle crashes.

O'Malley, Dem. Leaders Agree On Special Session Dates

ANNAPOLIS (AP) Maryland lawmakers can expect to go back to work in mid-May.

The Democratic governor and presiding officers of the state Senate and House of Delegates expect to call the legislature back into session May 14 to make changes to a budget plan that left the state with more than $500 million in cuts.

Before a bill signing ceremony Wednesday afternoon, Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller said lawmakers would come back to Annapolis and spend a few days hashing out budget details.

"It was a fine session, we have some more work to do," Miller said.

Student Left in Cell 4 Days Recalls Hallucinations

SAN DIEGO (AP) - A college student picked up in a drug sweep in California was never arrested, never charged and should have been released. Instead he was forgotten in a holding cell for four days and says he had to drink his own urine to stay alive.

Without food, water or access to a toilet, Daniel Chong began hallucinating on the third day.

He told The Associated Press in an interview Wednesday that he saw little Japanese-style cartoon characters that told him to dig into the walls to find water. Chong tore apart the plastic lining on the walls.

"I ripped the walls and waited for the room to flood for some reason," said the 23-year-old University of California, San Diego, student, three days after he left the hospital where he was treated for dehydration and kidney failure. "I can't explain my hallucinations too well because none of them make sense."

Later he added, "I felt like I was completely losing my mind."
