The Fat Man Told By Authorities To Take Down His Posts

Jonathan Taylor has been told to take down his Posts about our Family Members, especially children.

I Told You Something Was Up, This Just In About Gary Comegys

"He actually backed a candidate for mayor that has been busted three times by the state ethics board for double dipping. The second time he was suspended without pay for 5 days. They let Gary off the hook his third time around stealing hours from state and city taxpayers.

On one occasion he was attending a city council work session, however his state time sheet indicated that he worked overtime for the state? He was caught doing it, busted red handed, why was he allowed to get retirement? An investigation may be needed to investigate the ethics board if this is how they respond to people who steal taxpayer dollars."

WARNING! Telephone Scam

THE PUBLIC IS WARNED TO BEWARE OF A POSSIBLE TELEPHONE SCAM OCCURING IN THE AREA. A LOCAL RESIDENT REPORTED TO MARYLAND STATE POLICE TODAY THAT THEY RECEIVED A CALL FROM A MAN IDENTIFYING HIMSELF AS DAVID BROOK.

BROOK INFORMED THE VICTIM THAT THEY HAD WON MILLIONS OF DOLLARS AND WANTED TO KNOW IF THE VICTIM WANTED TO RECEIVE THE MONEY PRIVATELY OR WITH THE MEDIA INVOLVED. BROOK ALSO STATED THAT HE HAD ARMED GUARDS FOR THE MONEY.

WHEN CONTACTED BY MARYLAND STATE POLICE, BROOK WAS UNCOOPERATIVE AND IT WAS READILY APPARENT THAT HE WAS NOT A LEGITIMATE BUSINESSMAN. THIS INFORMATION HAS BEEN PASSED ALONG TO HOMELAND SECURITY INTELLIGENCE DIVISION FOR FURTHER INVESTIGATION.

THE MARYLAND STATE POLICE WANT TO REMIND THE PUBLIC TO PLEASE EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION WITH ANY TELEPHONE SOLICITOR. DO NOT GIVE ANY PRIVATE INFORMATION. DOCUMENT THE NUMBER THEY ARE CALLING FROM AND CONTACT YOUR LOCAL AUTHORITIES IMMEDIATELY.

Louise Smith To QUIT City Council?

According to sources, Muir Boda was in a conversation with one of our people today where they said to Muir, we heard Louise Smith say if Jim Ireton wins this election she was quitting the Council. Muir replied, "no, Louise Smith said that if Jim Ireton, Debbie Campbell and Cynthia Polk won the election she would resign."

Now I had heard from several sources that Louise Smith was going to resign/quit, (what's the difference) if Jim Ireton won but now we have confirmed that Louise Smith, (from one of her own people) says she's throwing in the towel.

So what's the deal Louise Smith. Are you going to do us the pleasure of stepping down? You are useless any more. No doubt Tilghman and Comegys are praying to save their political lives in the hopes of Shanie winning her seat so they can vote Gary Comegys in as Council President and reject just about anything and everything brought forth from the new Mayor to the City Council.

So here's my plan with Salisbury News. Should Shanie Shields win, let's do a Recall on all three of them while everything is still fresh. The majority of people have now seen people want change and if we get enough signatures we can shame these three right out of Office.

Your response will determine if it's worth it or not.

Vote Totals So Far

Mayor-Elect To Participate In Easter Egg Hunt And Celebration

Salisbury--Mayor-Elect Jim Ireton will participate in the Johnson's Lake

Neighborhood Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 11, 2009. The Easter Egg hunt will begin at 11:30 AM and is being held on Philadelphia Avenue in Salisbury. Dyeing of Easter Eggs, relay races, and refreshments are planned.

"It is with great pride that my first engagement, as Mayor-Elect, happens in my neighborhood. The annual Easter celebration is great fun for our residents. Susan Carey, our neighborhood association president, always makes these celebrations such fun for kids and adults alike. I went to kindergarten, in the 1970's, across the street from where we have this celebration, and am always humbled and inspired by the memories I have of this neighborhood. I'd like to wish the City Council, our university students, our seniors, and all our residents a peaceful and restful holiday." Ireton said.

High School ROTC Instructor Arrested For Sexual Assault Against Student

Seaford – The Delaware State Police have arrested a 49-year-old Lincoln man for several charges stemming from an inappropriate relationship he maintained with a 16-year-old Seaford girl. The man, Timothy J. McDorman, was employed as an ROTC instructor at Seaford High School and the victim was a student of his.

The investigation began yesterday when the teen victim’s mother notified authorities of an alarming text message she located on her daughter’s cellular telephone that morning. The message clearly indicated the sender was involved in sexual activity with her daughter. The mother was able to determine that the sender was Mr. McDorman.

School officials and police were immediately notified and an ensuing investigation revealed that McDorman did in fact send the sexually explicit text message to the victim. Additionally, investigators learned the two were involved in a relationship since October ’08 that involved the victim sending several nude photographs of her to McDorman’s cellular telephone. The relationship continued and in March of this year, the pair had engaged in sexual intercourse.

At the conclusion of the investigation, detectives have identified 15 sexually explicit photographs that were received by McDorman depicting the victim unclothed. McDorman was arrested and charged with 15 counts of using a Computer to Unlawfully Depict a Child Engaging in a Prohibited Sexual Act (F), 1 count of Rape Fourth Degree (F), and 15 counts of Possession of Child Pornography (F). He was released after posting a $100,000 secured bail.

Questions regarding McDorman’s employment with the Seaford School District can be directed to Ms. Bonnie Johnson. She can be reached at 302.629.4587 ext 268.

Pohanka "Pays It Forward"

Dear Joe,

Pohanka “Pays it forward” is working! Our customers designated $23,350 to over 90 local non-profit agencies in the month of March. We are getting some incredible feedback from customers and non-profits alike. This is only the first month of this program and our goal is to keep helping the community with this program however; we can only do that if individuals and organization reach out to board members, supporters, employees, friends and family to support Pohanka Automotive Group.

The Pay it Forward program has been a dream of Pohanka of Salisburys Vice President, Sandy Fitzgerald - Angello for some time. Her vision is to inspire other businesses to do the same and keep our local economy and good will thriving. All of our business and efforts to do business are kept exclusively local. Pohanka’s paying if forward with money that would normally be spent on advertising outside of our primary Market. Our customers are choosing from a list of over 120 local non-profit agencies and can write in an agency not on the list. The idea is to keep donating to nonprofits but we can only do that if these organizations are supporting us as well. These non profits and their supporters need to be our Marketing team and spread the word about the Pohanka “Pays it forward” program. If their supporters, family or friends are in the Market for a vehicle, now is the time to buy.

Joe, I am sure that you understand that we have to inspire commerce. Pohanka Pays it Forward just started and will continue but we have to inspire people to at least give us a chance to earn their business locally.

Here is the March list of non-profits we have given money to!

THANK YOU to the customers that purchased vehicles from us this month!

Welcome To Gordy Tiger Mart, Can I Check Your Oil, Wink, Wink

Being jobless sure does suck, so where does one turn? I know, my good old buddy Gordo! Gary Comegys will take on a position in the near future greasing his hands in yet another way for the first time in his life, at a service station. I guess they figured with all those Comegys signs at every location, he must be good for business now.

Comegys' experience will serve him well as mayor

I had the opportunity to work with Gary Comegys on the Salisbury City Council during the final two tears of my term on the council. He was always able to focus on the big picture and make decisions based on the best interests of the citizens. There is a growing need for us to make tough decisions as to how to allocate our limited resources while continuing to shore up the city's infrastructure. This is his strong suit; he has lobbied his fellow council members for important projects and state officials to bring funding to Salisbury.

Comegys works well with both citizens and his fellow council members. He is not hesitant to meet with citizens who disagree with his positions. He is always looking for common ground to advance individual neighborhoods' goals. I watched him each year review the budget once the mayor submitted her proposed budget to the City Council. He has worked hard to lobby for fiscal responsibility, at the same time systematically raising public safety salaries to maintain our officers' ranks.

Comegys understands what the City Council is supposed to do and he has done his job well. Now, he is seeking the opportunity to move across the hall and guide the administrative branch of the government. His experience and his hard work for the city will serve him well as our next mayor.

An Absolute Must See Video!

A Pair Of Losers?

Comegys would clearly be an ideal Salisbury mayor

As a fellow elected official, someone who works in downtown Salisbury and whose business pays taxes in Salisbury, it is my honor to endorse Gary Comegys for Salisbury's next mayor.

Comegys demonstrates qualities that make him an ideal mayoral candidate -- leadership, commitment and dedication.

Whether you agree or disagree on issues, you know what his positions are and why he feels that way. Most importantly, he will listen and understand yours.

He is progressive, a forward thinker. Take, for example, the agreement to connect the Salisbury and Fruitland water systems. Comegys initiated the discussion; Fruitland embraced the idea. Later this year, that project will be completed.

Comegys is committed to being an effective mayor. He has worked hard for two terms on the Salisbury City Council; that experience will be invaluable as mayor. He is committed to working with all parties on every issue that faces Salisbury.

He has demonstrated his ability to either compromise or stand firm. Don't discount his contacts and the positive light he sheds on Salisbury as a leader in the Maryland Municipal League, which helps protect the city's interests in Annapolis.

Retiring from the State Highway Administration, Comegys has demonstrated his life will be dedicated to improving Salisbury, which is large enough to merit a full-time mayor.

Being an elected official is not easy. Comegys understands; he has been criticized during his tenure on council but remained steadfast and diligent in his belief Salisbury can and will be a better place for all.

Vote for Comegys on April 7.

Urban Salisbury

Hi Joe,

Can you find out anything more about the closing of Urban Salisbury and with that Allan Hope.

As I understand it, she would not allow (or had Louise not allow) Allan to present his power point presentation to the City Council while seeking $20,000 to make it through June. Instead, it appears that Barrie has hired Michael Dunn into a part-time position as the new Main Street Coordinator.

First she does this as she is headed out the door.

Secondly, the appointment of Michael Dunn seems to have been done without advertising or competition.

Aside from having been the President of the City Council, we citizens have no idea what qualifications Michael brings to the table.

The City indicates that the Main Street Coordinator program has been very successful elsewhere, but if you go to the Main Street website and look for local coordinators, Allan Hope is already listed there - so this is nothing new! And Allan has had his successes.

By taking this action, she is putting back into the picture a politician from the past with whom she was closely affiliated, and as I understand it Michael's reputation as councilman was questionable, he's aligned with the slumlords, I believe he is a realtor (so considering the economy, he is probably broke right now and needs a favor/funding). I believe he is a member of SOPAO and a slumlord too, but have not confirmed that! (I'm relatively new here).

This should have waited for Jim to consider. Maybe we cannot afford Urban Salisbury, but we surely cannot afford Michael Dunn at $20,000 for one little job, when all Jim will be earning is $25,000 for one great big job!

Dangerous Breed Of Dog

If you are an owner of a dog that belongs to a 'dangerous breed' category and you also have a small child please take this as a warning.

Don't leave your dog with the child unattended under any circumstances.

Only a short moment was enough for the following to happen.

See the photo below.

See, We Were Right

One's a wanna be and the other is a has been. Either way, neither will be Mayor and both are jobless. Part time jobs don't count, according to Gary. I'm sorry, is this gloating?

Grandparents:

1. She was in the bathroom, putting on her makeup, under the watchful eyes of her young granddaughter, as she'd done many times before. After she applied her lipstick and started to leave, the little one said, "But Gramma, you forgot to kiss the toilet paper good-bye!" I will probably never put lipstick on again without thinking about kissing the toilet paper good-bye...

2. My young grandson called the other day to wish me Happy Birthday. He asked me how old I was, and I told him, 62. My grandson was quiet for a moment, and then he asked, "Did you start at 1?"

3. After putting her grandchildren to bed, a grandmother changed into old slacks and a droopy blouse and proceeded to wash her hair. As she heard the children getting more and more rambunctious, her patience grew thin. Finally, she threw a towel around her head and stormed into their room, putting them back to bed with stern warnings. As she left the room, she heard the three-year-old say with a trembling voice, "Who was THAT?"

4. A grandmother was telling her little granddaughter what her own childhood was like: "We used to skate outside on a pond I had a swing made from a tire; it hung from a tree in our front yard. We rode our pony. We picked wild raspberries in the woods." The little girl was wide-eyed, taking this all in. At last she said, "I sure wish I'd gotten to know you sooner!"

5. My grandson was visiting one day when he asked, "Grandma, do you know how you and God are alike?" I mentally polished my halo and I said, "No, how are we alike?'' "You're both old," he replied.

6. A little girl was diligently pounding away on her grandfather's word processor. She told him she was writing a story. "What's it about?" he asked. "I don't know," she replied. "I can't read."

7. I didn't know if my granddaughter had learned her colors yet, so I decided to test her. I would point out something and ask what color it was.. She would tell me and was always correct. It was fun for me, so I continued. At last, she headed for the door, saying, "Grandma, I think you should try to figure out some of these, yourself!"

8. When my grandson Billy and I entered our vacation cabin, we kept the lights off until we were inside to keep from attracting pesky insects. Still, a few fireflies followed us in Noticing them before I did, Billy whispered, "It's no use Grandpa. Now the mosquitoes are coming after us with flashlights."

9. When my grandson asked me how old I was, I teasingly replied, "I'm not sure." "Look in your underwear, Grandpa," he advised, "mine says I'm 4 to 6."

10. A second grader came home from school and said to her grandmother, "Grandma, guess what? We learned how to make babies today." The grandmother, more than a little surprised, tried to keep her cool. "That's interesting," she said, "how do you make babies?" "It's simple," replied the girl. "You just change 'y' to 'i' and add 'es'."

11. Children's Logic: "Give me a sentence about a public servant," said a teacher. The small boy wrote: "The fireman came down the ladder pregnant." The teacher took the lad aside to correct him. "Don't you know what pregnant means?" she asked. "Sure," said the young boy confidently. 'It means carrying a child."

12. A grandfather was delivering his grandchildren to their home one day when a fire truck zoomed past. Sitting in the front seat of the fire truck was a Dalmatian dog. The children started discussing the dog's duties. "They use him to keep crowds back," said one child. "No," said another. "He's just for good luck." ;A third child brought the argument to a close."They use the dogs," she said firmly, "to find the
fire hydrants."

13. A 6-year-old was asked where his grandma lived. "Oh," he said, "she lives at the airport, and when we want her, we just go20get her.. Then, when we're done having her visit, we take her back to the airport."

14. Grandpa is the smartest man on earth! He teaches me good things, but I don't get to see him enough to get as smart as him!

15. My Grandparents are funny, when they bend over; you hear gas leaks, and they blame their dog.

B-17 Story

Look carefully at the B-17 and note how shot up it is - one engine dead, tail, horizontal stabilizer and nose shot up. It was ready to fall out of the sky.. Then realize that there is a German ME-109 fighter flying next to it. Now read the story below. I think you'll be surprised.....

Charlie Brown was a B-17 Flying Fortress pilot with the 379th Bomber Group at Kimbolton , England . His B-17 was called 'Ye Old Pub' and was in a terrible state, having been hit by flak and fighters. The compass was damaged and they were flying deeper over enemy territory instead of heading home to Kimbolton.

After flying over an enemy airfield, a German pilot named Franz Steigler was ordered to take off and shoot down the B-17. When he got near the B-17, he could not believe his eyes. In his words, he 'had never seen a plane in such a bad state'. The tail and rear section was severely damaged, and the tail gunner wounded. The top gunner was all over the top of the fuselage. The nose was smashed and there were holes everywhere.

Despite having ammunition, Franz flew to the side of the B-17 and looked at Charlie Brown, the pilot. Brown was scared and struggling to control his damaged and blood-stained plane.

Aware that they had no idea where they were going, Franz waved at Charlie to turn 180 degrees. Franz escorted and guided the stricken plane to, and slightly over, the North Sea towards England. He then saluted Charlie Brown and turned away, ba ck to Europe.

When Franz landed he told the CO that the plane had been shot down over the sea, and never told the truth to anybody. Charlie Brown and the remains of his crew told all at their briefing, but were ordered never to talk about it.

More than 40 years later, Charlie Brown wanted to find the Luftwaffe pilot who saved the crew. After years of research, Franz was found. He had never talked about the incident, not even at post-war reunions

They met in the USA at a 379th Bomber Group reunion, together with 25 people who are alive now - all because Franz never fired his guns that day.

Research shows that Charlie Brown lived in Seattle and Franz Steigler had moved to Vancouver , BC after the war. When they finally met, th! ey discovered they had lived less than 200 miles apart for the past 50 years!
