"He actually backed a candidate for mayor that has been busted three times by the state ethics board for double dipping. The second time he was suspended without pay for 5 days. They let Gary off the hook his third time around stealing hours from state and city taxpayers.
On one occasion he was attending a city council work session, however his state time sheet indicated that he worked overtime for the state? He was caught doing it, busted red handed, why was he allowed to get retirement? An investigation may be needed to investigate the ethics board if this is how they respond to people who steal taxpayer dollars."
Your good Joe.
ReplyDeleteNo surprise. I have a relative that does this all the time. Goes to work at 8:00 and home by 12:00 and clocks off 8 hours. Parks the truck inside the garage now instead of outside so no one knows. They call it 'family leave, vacation pay, personal time, personal days, sick pay, comp time.' I call it stealing.
ReplyDeleteOne can only imagine what Comegys feels justified in stealing from the city taxpayers. What a disgrace.
ReplyDeleteMaryland definately needs an enema. Delaware does not allow a State worker to hold an office siultaneous with a political position because of the appearance of a conflict of interest. They either give-up their state job, or, they don't run for office. I heard on a DE radio station just a few days ago about potential abuse of double-dipping, record keeping, and so on.
ReplyDeleteThis ought not be allowed in Maryland either. The temptation to abuse the system is just to great.
I wish someone would explain this to another notorious double-dipper.
ReplyDeleteNorm Conway should take heed. He has drawn a salary and actually held a position on the Wicomico County Board of Education while simultaneous with being an elected Delegate for this District.
If my memory serves me he drew a salary of $70k+ from the Board of Ed and also another salary of $45K+ from the House of Delegates. Note: His wife has also drawn a salary from Maryland's School District. And some people wonder why the Board of Ed doesn't have enough money?
Hey Gary, Follow Louise and don't let the door hit ya on the way out!
ReplyDeleteYes, it is stealing tax dollars, and he does it too much apparently. Why the state allows such missuse of our tax dollars is amazing. Whats going on with the voter fraude he was apparently involved with? They should pitch him out of the Council. Jim, are you listening?
ReplyDeleteAll and all arent we all just "sticks in the mud"? I quess the grain makes a big differance.
ReplyDeleteNo,No "Foxy-Brown" its Napp time.
ReplyDeleteSince you have the information in quotes, it obviously came from one of your "reliable sources." I question the veracity of the information because I can guarantee you the state wouldn't let any employee off the hook if it was their third offense for the same violation; especially once the conduct reaches beyond the department the employee works for and into the state's Ethics Commission.
ReplyDeleteThe State Highway Admin is infamous...chock full of crooks.
ReplyDeleteAny other place when you STEAL time, they fire your A$$!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI know of another notorious SHA worker that also abuses the system. He has a State issued yellow truck and I've seen him come home in the middle of day many times and try and hide.
ReplyDeleteDonnie Drewer needs to get his act together. Isn't Donnie aware that his co-workers are abusing the system? If he doesn't then he needs to go also.
you should look very hard at the public works in salisbury

8:50 PM
NEWSFLASH
Jim can't pitch him out of the Council just like Dinglebarrie can't pitch Councilwoman Campbell of the council for allegedly leaking information to Salibury News.
I think what Debbie did was legal and what Gary did was illegal. That is the difference here.
ReplyDeleteComegys' neighbor lady: next time you borrow power tools from Gary, check for the initials 'SHA' engraved on them. He didn't borrow them from Sam H. Adams, and they weren't made by Standard Home Accessories, Inc. Get my drift?
ReplyDelete8:58 is wrong the State allows this all the time if they have no alternative of covering it up. They also do it for discrimination charges. Ask Miccioto that was allowed retirement from the Division of Corrections along with Kimble, Gee and many others. The State only fires the ones that perform their jobs, not the screw ups. They are allowed to retire. I know that as a fact.
ReplyDeleteWait until the stuff comes out about Gary approving the Main Street drawbridge for opening after repairs, but before the safety equipment was installed and working.
ReplyDeleteHow do you expect the State Ethics Commission to act on situations like this when they allow Sen. Curry to maintain his elected position and have done all but cover up his dealings with Shoppers
