Mayor Tilghman's Exit Interview

Uh, Mayor, how well do you think you left the City?

Well, I think I did a pretty good job.

If any of you would like to send a message to Mayor Tilghman before she leaves, now would be the perfect time. I was going to add photos of sewage spills, graffiti and so many others but I think these tell a pretty good beginning and it certainly leaves a truthful ending. Have at it Folks!

  6. It would be interesting to know what other smaller towns across the country have done to try to save their downtowns. Im sure lots failed but there has to be some that worked, if we knew this it would help formulate a plan to save the downtown. We wouldnt have to make the same mistakes that they did. Personaly I think the river is the key, with-out a healthy river you will never have a healthy downtown.

  7. Tell you what, Barrie. Why don't you buy some of these vacant properties, then put a business in each one. It will demonstrate your commitment as a stakeholder in the future of downtown.

  12. Barrie and Company,
What you did to the Downtown is disgraceful and will be your lasting legacy. It will take a long time for Downtown to recover if it ever does.

I am hoping that Ireton cleans house at the SPD and the SFD. We need transparent, intelligent and progressive thinkers as leaders - not the "sick clique" that has been running or should I say ruining things.

  13. Barrie,

First of all, thank you for not running for office again. You were supposed to be a role model to young women who are planning on being community leaders. You ought to be ashamed of yourself with all of your lies, misappropriations and cover-ups! Some role model you are. You have shown them that Salisbury's biggest role model lies, cheats, steals, covers up and bully's anyone who gets in her way with the help of the Chief of Police and others in your clic. You give hardworking HONEST business women and community leaders with MORALS, a bad name and I, for one, am glad that you are leaving.

  14. Reconciled1 - I did see Lie to Me last night. Funny, I was thinking the same thing! Wouldn't it be great if we could get some of those detectives to talk to the mare & bubba! It would take HOURS for the video to be reviewed and all the gestures pointed out!!!!!
