  5. This sounds like something that the PC police would be advocating. Perhaps we should just blindfold children while they're out in public and they wouldn't see it there either.

    It's almost comedic to see the puffing away in 1940s through 1960s movies when the studios were paid by tobacco companies to have their actors smoke on screen. Those actors did a boatload of advertisements for cigarettes and cigars on TV, radio and magazines.

  8. Smoking used to be a flavor and vanity thing. Now, it's a "nicotine (drug) delivery device", as in electronic smoking devices.

    Where are we going with this? Will we have "(Insert drug of choice here)delivery devices"?
