A Viewer Writes: Will the next line be for bread?

  1. Not bread, meat.
(BTW: We're less than two weeks away from civil unrest in Maryland.)

  2. I was in “line “ for 8 hours finally my turn came and I missed it because it was 4:33 am and I fell asleep waiting.. so back in line I go..

  3. Simply open it up and let the people work. Absolutely incredible

  4. Agreed 515a...might even get a glimpse this weekend with it supposed to be an actually nice weather weekend for the first time in a while.

  5. you are already standing in line for food.

  6. Let the civil unrest begin, damn enough is enough. Older, more susceptible people to the virus can stay home, but let the younger people who want and need to work, go back to work. Not hard to understand.

  7. What facts do you guys have to support your argument that civil unrest will begin in two weeks. Things seem to be getting better. The governor has already said that by mid May we may begin to start opening things back up, and people are finally starting to get unemployment benefits (after waiting forever but still). Small businesses are getting loans to keep paying their employees, and stores have restocked most items.

    1. Getting better??? Where and how? The Governor is offering false hope to placate the masses. Evidently it's working on you

    2. What world are you living in? Maybe you are joking. Hogan is saying he will think about reopening if the numbers go down for 14 days. He just bought 500,000 test. The numbers are not going down. Very few people have their unemployment. My daughter applied the first day things shut down in March and she was number 29,995 yesterday on hold again and never got through. No small business got their loan. Maybe around he have been laid off because of it. And meet is getting ready to be very hard to get and the price will be going up. If you are being serious, please let me come live in your world.

    3. *(sorry for the typos!) No small businesses got the loans, big fat corporations did. The banks don't want to deal with all those small business loans easier to give 10 million to their buddies. Many around here have been laid off because of it. Meat is getting ready to be hard to get and will become expensive when you can buy it.

  8. Things haven’t changed for the recipients of the government dole so it’s easy to say times aren’t that bad.

  9. Who exactly do we direct our Civil unrest against? Federal Government? State Government? Local Government? Medical professionals? Law enforcement? Emergency workers?

  10. The more you test, the higher the numbers go.

    See how that works?

    Boss Hog is a Demm.

  11. 6:49 You are a special kind of stupid aren't you??? Hogan JUST SAID he will not even consider opening back up anything, until we have at least 2 WEEKS of decline in numbers and test, well May is already here, months are only 3 to 4 weeks long respectfully, So that is past MAY you obtuse moron, and as you can see if they are real or not, the numbers go up every day...

I am still waiting to hear from someone around here who has the virus or had it and got better or had it and died!!! Kinda suspect all these people are having it and whatnot yet not a one of you can say you know anyone!!! so when the numbers go past the amount of residences who live here, are you going to believe us then??? or still be a good slave???

  12. 6:49 The fact that Purdue, Mountaire and now Tyson just announced they shut down their processing plants, where do you think meat comes from??? Then you have Smith something or other closing their pork plant down... So Yes I would say there will be bread lines!!!! There already are, you have to wait in line to go into Aldi, Walmart and a few other places... Which makes no sense to have you standing in line for hours next to people, wasn't the whole point to stop the spread? Yet you force people to stand beside each other in a group in a line to go inside a store you don't disinfect when someone goes in or out, so if anyone has the virus, everyone gets it still... Way to go!!!

Really think about that, they make you stand in line with more than 10 people near by, no way to social distance, and the stores don't disinfect each time someone goes in or out, so if a store in a day has lets say 1k customers, the first person has the virus and goes in the store, the store doesn't clean after each person or group, so all 999 people who enter the store after number 1 could get the virus, so what is the point of having 5 or 6 or even 10 in a store at a time??? It doesn't solve or help jack!!!!

Just like you morons think social distancing works, when MIT even said the virus could reach as far as 20+ feet, so what is 6 feet going to do???? When in aerosol form it can stay in the air for hours, what good is 6 feet when I still walk into the could of virus in the air???? You people are morons and refuse to use your brain, and bad things are goign to happen to this country becasue of it... All I can say is, don't expect me to help you, since you put us in this mess to begin with!!!

  15. The governor on Friday said mid may we would be opening things back up. Not everything but phase one. Civil unrest isnt coming. Every thing is stocked people just got checks the unemployment website is starting to get people checks. This reminds me of last month when everyone swore the national guard and military were on their way. You all are so lost it ain't even funny.

One guy one here even said a month had three weeks and someone else said they were waiting to hear from a person that had died of the virus. Glad you guys aren't running this country

Uh, unless you have enough money to pay when families start to hire their lawyers after family members were infected by workers and died - NO!

You need more sleep since you AREN'T working.

  17. 9:17a...mid May is in 2 weeks. We’ve got to have declining #s for 14 straight days before we can proceed to phase 1. Hogan just got 500k tests...do you really think our “numbers” are going to decline essentially starting today for 14 straight days? Unrest is already starting...people are having parties and gatherings of more than 10 people...that’s disobeying orders=unrest. It’s only going to worsen as the temperature warms (this weekend). My idea of unrest is people disregarding the social distancing/stay at home orders defiantly...and those #s will grow as people see others doing it. The $$$ if you can get it will run out...government can’t continue to write blank checks with nothing backing them. There will be meat shortages very soon with the number of processors closed or operating below capacity. Look at the panic around TP...wait until the panic on meat starts.

  18. Have we not been hearing "two weeks" for almost TWO (2) months now? Sounds a bit like 'the check is in the mail' to me. The end of two weeks is not in anyone in government's thoughts. They still are getting paid regularly, stop their payments and let's see how fast things would get moving!! Of course that won't happen because they control their own incomes by decree, we the masses don't have that luxury!!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Civil unrest has most certainly started already.
You don't hear about it on the news though. Imagine that.
Stores ARE running out of meats, pork, and chicken.
In many - hell, most - urban parts of states, "nightclubs" are open and thriving on just about every block No business hours (24 hours a day); no carding; no rules at all, and they are packed with people.
The LE won't go in and stop it. They know they are out-gunned.

"Civil unrest" is not just having a protest against the government. It is also - especially in this case - a suspension of all rules, regulations, and laws, by the population.
And that is here and happening now!

  20. 10:40a-yes because if they said 2 or 3 months there would be immediate panic. Same reasons for stringing along schools...they’re hoping kids who see passing or on the fringe will still attempt the school work being sent home vs start their summer 2 months early. The gap between those kids and the kids at the top of the classes will be widened in the fall...better separate them based on progress.

  21. According to federal guidelines we can open if we have a 14 day decrease in hospitalization or deaths. It doesn't have to be infections. It is possible we could enter phase 1 of reopening by mid may just like Hogan and trump both said.

  27. If more testing is done there will be higher numbers and Hogan will still keep people from working. It is a ploy to keep American from getting back to work and improving the economy before the election.

  28. It's not so bad that efforts to correct the overload for new applicants is taking place. What is absolute NUTS that they took the working WEBCERT software down too and tried an all-in-1 approach in the middle of an economic crisis with the new software.

    ReplyDelete
  29. The New site wants too Many Q & A , far more than the old system & it is
NOT necessary !!! 8 damn pages & people confused & making mistakes !

SIMPLIFY the NEW site , so people don't make mistakes, that will cost
them their $$$ if they don't get it !!! Old system did not need all the Q &A

Better yet , DO AWAY with the Webcert Requirement every Frigg'in Week

Just say to Notify the state IF & When you get a job , (so benefits Stop ) !!!

NO WEBCERT needed !!! The people can't get on NOW to do it !!!

  30. April 28, 2020 at 6:47 PM Dont you have to apply for 2 jobs a week and prove you did? Last I looked a year ago you had to provide proof you applied for jobs.
