Trump complains that all he sees in all the TV he watches is 'hatred of me at any cost'

President Trump is worried about the media, he tweeted late Sunday night, as Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and congressional leaders were furiously working to iron out differences in a massive coronavirus stimulus/bailout package. "I watch and listen to the Fake News, CNN, MSDNC, ABC, NBC, CBS, some of FOX (desperately & foolishly pleading to be politically correct), the @nytimes, & the @washingtonpost, and all I see is hatred of me at any cost," he tweeted. "Don't they understand that they are destroying themselves?"

Republican pollster Frank Luntz pointed out that Trump, at least in the past, denied watching much TV and said he "seldom, if ever" watched CNN or MSNBC.

  1. Fortunately the media is not my barometer of what a good person is. I pray for him and I appreciate his love for our country. He is the man for the job.

  2. So obvious, one only need watch the daily briefings to see the hit jobs from the low life pundits. They are not creating any news and the questions hurled are disrespectful, meaningless, obviously intended to incite, and providing nothing of substance. The oafs would not dare ask anything close to these "gotchas" to Biden or Clinton or any Democrat for that matter. Cheap shots and again nothing close to newsworthy.

City Employee Tests Positive for COVID-19

Salisbury – Mayor Jake Day has announced that a municipal employee of the City of Salisbury has tested positive for COVID-19. The employee, a member of the Salisbury Fire Department, is currently presenting with a cough, but no other symptoms. The employee will remain in home isolation as mandated by the Wicomico County Health Department. At this time, there have been no other confirmed cases of COVID-19 among City of Salisbury employees.

Essential workers have their temperatures taken at the beginning of each shift, and , beginning this week, will be required to wear N95 masks at all times when on-duty. While these measures can help to minimize the spread of the virus, no method of protection is 100% effective at keeping you infection-free. With the number of confirmed cases in Wicomico County quickly approaching 200, social distancing measures remain the best bet for minimizing the impact of the Coronavirus in our community.

While mitigation remains vitally important, we have already begun to see the disease exact its sad toll here in Salisbury. In honor of our neighbors who have lost their battles with COVID-19, Mayor Jake Day has ordered all City of Salisbury flags to be flown at half-mast until further notice.

For continuing updates on the COVID-19 crisis in our community and across Delmarva, please continue to monitor our social media feeds, and visit www.coronarecoverytaskforce.com

  4. You’re kidding right?
    Mr Trump is an ACTOR

He is playing the role of POTUS
He is not the decision maker
Those who print the currency are decision makers

    Wow

    1. Call it what you want but he’s still your President every single day and for 4 more years. Get over it. I wish you and everyone else could think for yourselves but vote democrat and see where it gets you. It’s going to get you no where but it’s gonna get their pockets heavier not yours, that’s what they do and always have. Democrats tell you whatever you want to hear and not act on it. If all the liberal people suddenly supported trump, the Washington Democrat’s would jump right on board with his policies. They are for their selves, don’t bash trump because you hate him. He’s the best president we ever had in US history!!!!

  7. He should be listening to NPR.

  8. He doesn't need to watch TV. The "shows" on TV are fictional anyways. Let others watch and report.

Getting us well is more important than those "shows".

  9. 7:28 and 7:34AM; count me in your camp. I periodically try to imagine if I and my family were subjected to such a continuous barrage of mostly lies, hate, disparagement and vicious character destruction (95% of the time) with little or no appreciation noted in MSM, it begins to get me depressed. I do not know how he does it day after day. It must be All the prayers being answered for him and his family providing him with the strength, courage and wisdom to continue serving our Country.
