Police: Father threw 5-year-old son into Atlantic Ocean to teach him how to swim

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. —A Florida man accused of throwing his 5-year-old son into the ocean has posted bond and was released from jail Tuesday.

That man reportedly left the child alone in the water as he repeatedly dove from a Daytona Beach pier.

One witness told reporters he raced to help the little boy.

It's illegal to jump off the Main Street Pier in Daytona Beach, but that is what witnesses say John Bloodsworth was doing Monday night while his child was struggling to swim in a deep part of the ocean near the pier.

"I said, 'I can't take this no more.' So I went down to the pier, down to the shore and confronted him myself," witness Mitch Brown said.

FBI Found VAST MAJORITY of Steele Dossier Was Wrong or Unverifiable –USED IT AGAINST TRUMP ANYWAY

Investigative reporter John Solomon broke another HUGE story on Tuesday.

According to Solomon the FBI knew in early 2017 that the VAST MAJORITY of the Steele Dossier was wrong or unverified. And yet they continued to use the fake document anyway to spy on Trump and his campaign, transition team and administration.

On Hannity tonight Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) said what was significant was that they continued to use his work anyway. Meadows confirmed that John Solomon’s report is accurate.

Meadows confirmed that the FBI kept their investigation open despite them knowing the entire investigation was based on a fraud.

22 MS-13 Members Charged In Murders Of Seven People Hacked With Machetes

The Justice Department charged 22 alleged members of MS-13 in connection with seven murders in the Los Angeles area, including one in which a rival gang member was dismembered with a machete.

The indictment, which was unsealed Monday, focused on members of a Los Angeles-area subset of MS-13 known as the Fulton clique. Prosecutors called the San Fernando Valley-based gang a “particularly violent subset” of MS-13 that “has recently seen an influx of young immigrants from Central America.”

The Trump administration has made MS-13 a major focus of his crackdown on illegal immigration and drug trafficking. The notoriously violent gang originated in El Salvador, but has strongholds in numerous American cities.

Pandemonium Overtakes House as Nancy Pelosi Violates Chamber’s Rules, Trump Rebuke Backfires

Pandemonium overtook the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives on Tuesday afternoon and early evening as a Democrat-led effort to rebuke President Donald Trump over his criticisms of socialist lawmakers backfired badly with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi violating the rules of the chamber.

Amid the chaos, which undercut the Democrats’ message, the Democrat charged with running it literally abandoned the control of the House floor for a moment, something aides say they have never seen before and are unsure if it has ever happened in history–all as the Democrat Party struggled for hours with how to handle clear violations of House rules by their Speaker, Pelosi.

This account of what happened on the floor comes from interviews with members and staff present on the House floor during these proceedings, and from conversations with others in touch with officials present as the Democrats’ big anti-Trump parade was rained out by all the craziness.

Woodstock 50 rocked by even more legal drama

Peace, love and under . . . threat of litigation.

Woodstock 50, the most legally fraught celebration of good vibes on record, has racked up yet more attorneys’ fees, Page Six has learned.

Original Woodstock co-organizer Michael Lang announced in December that he planned to host a festival this August to mark the 50th anniversary of the 1969 cultural landmark. But the fest has since been dogged by a string of catastrophes, with its financial backer and production company pulling out and local authorities refusing permits — and with Lang threatening lawsuits throughout.

In the meantime, another flower child, Kenn Moutenot, decided to stage his own tribute to Woodstock, planning a two-weekend “Woodstock Experience” in the hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina.

Terrifying moment that a raft full of people plunges down waterfall

Shocking video captured the moment that a group of rafters plunged over a 30ft waterfall after apparently ignoring warning signs to turn around.

The rafters at Ohiopyle State Park in Pennsylvania had rented a raft and took an unguided white water boating trip on the Middle Youghiogheny River.

While navigating the river, the group took a wrong turn that set them on a dangerous course. They passed three warning signs urging boaters to turn back, with one sign stating 'waterfall ahead'.

The moment the rafters plummeted over the falls was captured on video by bystander Cody Veronie, who posted the video to his Facebook.

Bedlam on House Floor: Pelosi Storms Off amid Boos from Members

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was booed after attempting to shame lawmakers into supporting the House Democrats’ resolution to condemn what they consider “racist” tweets from President Trump, arguing that anything less would be “a shameful abdication” of their oath of office to “protect the American people.”

The speaker railed against Trump during Tuesday’s debate on the House floor, promising that her caucus would continue to respond to the “disrespect” aimed at the fundamental diversity of America. She accused the president of legitimizing and increasing “fear” and “hatred” against people of color and attempted to shame lawmakers who are dismissing the Democrats’ politically fueled resolution.

“It’s so sad because you would think that there would be a given that we would universally in this body just say ‘of course, of course,'” Pelosi remarked. “There is no excuse for any response to those words but a swift and strong, unified condemnation.”

“Every single member of this institution– Democratic and Republican– should join us in condemning the president’s racist tweets,” she continued.

A Bacterial Invasion? East-Coast-ers Face Flesh-Eating Disease Epidemic In 2019

Why are we suddenly seeing so many cases of flesh-eating disease all along the east coast of the United States?

For years, flesh-eating bacterial infections were so rare in the U.S. that even a single case would make national headlines. But here in 2019 the news is telling us that we are seeing flesh-eating infections “at a rate much higher than in previous years”, and this outbreak really seems to have escalated dramatically over the last couple of months. In fact, I found so many cases as I was doing research for this article that I had to simply stop reading at one point or I would have never gotten this article done in time. So in this article I will be sharing quite a few examples with you, but it is far from an exhaustive list.

Let’s start with a Tennessee man that was just killed by flesh-eating bacteria after a trip to the Florida panhandle. This is what his daughter had to say about his death
“About 4:00 a.m. Saturday morning, 12 hours after we were in the water, he woke up with a fever, chills and some cramping. … They got to the hospital in Memphis around 8 p.m.,” Wiygul said in the post. “They took him back immediately. As they were helping him get changed into his hospital gown they saw this terribly swollen black spot on his back that was not there before.”

The man’s condition worsened over the next several hours. His immune system had been weakened by a bout with cancer, the daughter said, and he died Sunday afternoon.
That is how fast flesh-eating disease can kill you. If it is not treated immediately, there is a good chance you will die.

And it doesn’t take much. One woman that had just moved to Florida recently died after getting a small cut on her leg “while walking along the coast on Anna Maria Island”

Democrat ‘Doomsday Scenario’ as Campaign Funds Evaporate

Empty wallets might finally do to the crowd of Democrat 2020 presidential challengers what national disinterest could not.

New financial disclosures show that 11 liberal contenders for the Oval Office are operating their campaigns at a deficit, having spent more money than campaign donations could support. Eight more have less than $1 million on hand. More than five months from 2020, only the front-runners have the financial means to go much further.

“This is the doomsday scenario for a lot of campaigns, where they’re grasping for air to keep their campaigns alive and to live another day,” said Washington Democrat strategist Andrew Feldman. “You can’t build an organization. You can’t build an operation that turns enthusiasm into votes without having resources to do it.”

“You’re not going to see a lot of people continuing to give to a person with no money left,” he added.

'Justice wasn't served': Grand jury foreman says he's still frustrated

The foreman in the grand jury that didn't indict US Sen. Edward M. Kennedy after his Oldsmobile sedan veered off a narrow bridge on Chappaquiddick Island on July 18, 1969 says he's still frustrated justice wasn't served for 28-year-old Mary Jo Kopechne who died.

Kennedy, 37, survived, following the incident where his car plunged off an extension of the resort island of Martha's Vineyard and into a moonlit pond 50 years ago Thursday but the Massachusetts Democrat waited 10 hours to report the accident to police, and the 'whys?' dogged him for the rest of his days.

Half a century later, what did and didn't happen on Chappaquiddick Island continues to fascinate and Leslie Leland - who was a young pharmacist when he was swept up in the aftermath - continues to be annoyed by the judge's refusal to subpoena anyone who was at the party they had attended that night.

West Virginians are inhaling and injecting WASP SPRAY as a cheap alternative to meth

Drug users are turning to wasp spray as a cheap alternative to meth, West Virginia State Police said.

Officials believe the bug killer played a role in three overdoses in Boone County last week.

Police told WCHS-TV on Monday that they are observing an uptick in the alarming drug trend, which is also known as 'wasping'.

'We're seeing this here on the streets in Boone County,' Sgt. Charles Sutphin said. 'People are making a synthetic type methamphetamine out of wasp spray.'

He added that physical effects are erratic behavior and extreme swelling and redness of the hands and feet.

Abused in combination with meth or on its own, wasp spray has been described by users as generating a 'rush,' feelings of déjà vu and a hallucinatory sense of smell, ABC News reported.

Prosecutors accuse MS-13 of 7 'medieval-style' slayings, including cutting heart out of rival

Los Angeles MS-13 gang members were charged Tuesday with the “medieval-style” slayings of seven people, including a rival gang member who had his heart cut out of his chest.

The federal RICO indictment with the murder charges targets an MS-13 group in the San Fernando Valley and spells out other acts of violence prosecutors say were committed on behalf of the notorious transnational gang, which President Trump has vilified for its wanton violence in New York and other places.

In announcing the indictment against 22 individuals, Los Angeles U.S. Attorney Nick Hanna credited a collaborative law enforcement effort with solving several murder cases and dealing “a severe blow to members of the gang who engaged in acts of brutality not seen in the region for over 20 years."

Jeffrey Epstein Registered As a Sex Offender in 2 States. In New Mexico, He Didn’t Have To.

Jeffrey Epstein, the New York financier, managed to evade federal prosecution a decade ago in a Florida sex case involving dozens of teenage girls, in part by agreeing to register as a sex offender. But for a man with many residences, and many high-powered lawyers, registering as a sex offender was not the blanket penalty it might seem.

He did register in Florida, where he pleaded guilty to two state felony charges. But in New York, where he owns one of Manhattan’s most expensive mansions, he managed to avoid check-ins with the authorities by changing his official residence to the Virgin Islands. And in New Mexico, where he owned a palatial residence south of Santa Fe, he was able to avoid inclusion in the state’s registry entirely.

That state’s relatively cursory investigation took into account only a police report which indicated, the authorities said, that the underage victim in the case to which Mr. Epstein pleaded guilty in 2010 was 17 — the age of consent in New Mexico — though the girl whose report launched the investigation against him was just 14.

Woodstock 50 courts Vernon with offers of jobs, VIP lounge, playground

Town of Vernon, N.Y. -- Faced with a potential court battle this week over plans to hold a concert at Vernon Downs, Woodstock 50 is courting area residents with promises of jobs, charitable donations, a VIP lounge and even a new playground.

Town codes officials have twice denied Woodstock 50’s request to hold a concert at Vernon Downs Casino Hotel in mid-August, saying the applications were incomplete and filed too late. Promoters will appeal to the town planning board Tuesday night. If they lose, they can go to court.

In the meantime, concert promoters and track owners announced in a news release they’ll hold an open house tonight and Tuesday morning to present plans for the show, expected to draw 65,000 people Aug. 16 to 18.

Former Pocomoke City Police Chief Gets Probation

Despite efforts by prosecutors to elicit jail time for Pocomoke’s first black police chief Kelvin Sewell, a Worcester County Judge ruled that the former Baltimore Homicide Supervisors would serve probation for a misdemeanor misconduct conviction tied to a 2014 accident investigation.

Prior to sentencing by Judge Newton Jackson III supporters of Sewell filled the courtroom and made impassioned pleas on his behalf, according to several attendees who spoke the AFRO.

“I’m just glad people showed up today,” Pocomoke Pastor Ronnie White said. “I think the judge actually listened to what we had to say.”

Sewell was convicted of misconduct in office by a nearly all white jury in April 2019. The charges stem from a 2014 accident involving two parked cars. State Prosecutor Emmitt Davitt sought a six-month sentence for Sewell.

Kentucky Could Be the Next State to Ban 'Sanctuary Cities'

Gov. Matt Bevin said Thursday he supports proposed legislation that would prohibit the creation of "sanctuary cities" and limit local governments' authority to enact policies prohibiting local police from cooperating with immigration officials or asking people about their immigration status.

The proposed bill would prohibit any Kentucky city from enacting "sanctuary policies." The legislation defines sanctuary cities as any policy that limits local law enforcement from cooperating with federal agencies to verify immigration status or grants immunity to immigrants to remain in a city unlawfully, according to a copy of the bill.

It would also prohibit policies that require local police to get a warrant or a judge's order to work with immigration enforcement.

Bevin said the proposed bill, sponsored by Sen. Danny Carroll, R-Paducah, and Rep. John Blanton, R-Saylersville, is not about immigration. It's about increased cooperation, he said.

New Asylum Rule Is Meant to Save Lives

On Monday, the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security announced a new rule regarding U.S. asylum laws. This comes in the wake of massive numbers of foreign migrants exploiting America’s asylum system as a means of de facto immigration. It comes also as Democrats in Congress have been steadfast in opposing any legislative solution to the border crisis, as the party has essentially adopted an open-borders policy.

The new rule would bar foreign nationals from receiving asylum in the U.S. if they have not first applied for asylum in an intermediary country, which in many current cases would be Mexico or another Central American country.

In announcing the new rule, Attorney General William Barr noted that the administration’s intention is to uphold the spirit of America’s asylum system. “The United States is a generous country but is being completely overwhelmed by the burdens associated with apprehending and processing hundreds of thousands of aliens along the southern border,” he said. “This Rule will decrease forum shopping by economic migrants and those who seek to exploit our asylum system to obtain entry to the United States — while ensuring that no one is removed from the United States who is more likely than not to be tortured or persecuted on account of a protected ground.”

Trump: Democrats Too ‘Petrified’ to Confront ‘Anti-USA, Pro-Terrorist’ Squad

President Donald Trump on Tuesday said the far-left Democrat “Squad” has uttered some of the most “vile, hateful, and disgusting things” ever said by a lawmaker on Capitol Hill and party leadership is unwilling to take them one due to fear of the “radical left.”

“The Democrat Congresswomen have been spewing some of the most vile, hateful, and disgusting things ever said by a politician in the House or Senate, & yet they get a free pass and a big embrace from the Democrat Party,” the president wrote on Twitter.

“Horrible anti-Israel, anti-USA, pro-terrorist & public shouting of the F…word, among many other terrible things, and the petrified Dems run for the hills,” he added.

Ninth Circuit Rules for Trump in Sanctuary Cities Case

Attorney General Bill Barr can implement President Donald Trump’s decision to withhold federal funding from “sanctuary cities” that attempt to thwart federal immigration laws, the Ninth Circuit appeals court ruled on Friday.

The Trump administration is denying some federal law enforcement grant money to sanctuary cities. Los Angeles challenged that decision in federal court, arguing that the decision violates federal law and limits on Congress’s authority under the Spending Clause of the U.S. Constitution.

A 1994 federal law authorizes the Department of Justice (DOJ) “to provide a range of federal assistance to state and local law enforcement,” Judge Sandra Ikuta wrote on Friday, describing DOJ’s administering “a competitive grant program that allocates a limited pool of funds.”

Congress’s law “linked to the goal of enhancing the crime prevention function of state and local law enforcement through working with the community,” the San Francisco-based court continued.

If You Can't Beat 'Em, Call 'Em Racist

Veteran journalist Brit Hume weighed in on the uproar over President Donald Trump’s latest bomb-throwing: “Trump’s ‘go back’ comments were nativist, xenophobic, counterfactual and politically stupid. But they simply do not meet the standard definition of racist, a word so recklessly flung around these days that its actual meaning is being lost.”

Many grassroots Americans would vehemently disagree with Hume’s first sentence, and we’ll come back to that. It was his second sentence that resonated. Hume even cited the Merriam-Webster’s definition of racism to show that Trump’s comments had nothing to do with race. Hilariously — and pathetically, in a sign of the times — Merriam-Webster replied with a lengthy explanation about how “the lexicographer’s role” isn’t to define “how some may feel [words] should be used,” while warning that “it is prudent to recognize that quoting from a dictionary is unlikely to either mollify or persuade the person with whom one is arguing.”

In other words, words have no meaning if facts conflict with your triggered feelings.

Now, to the first of Hume’s assertions.

Nolte: Trump’s Bold Truth-Telling About ‘The Squad’ Makes Free Speech Great Again

Is it President Trump’s fault the Four Harridans of the Dempocalypse are “women of color?”

If you have enough of your own mind left after decades of being socialized by the media into believing everything is racist except actual racism, you are keenly aware that the media, Democrats, and Never Trump Kooks are acting as though it’s Trump’s fault The Jew-Hating Squad — which is made up of freshmen Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) — is a not a bunch of straight, white males.

All Trump did, all he is guilty of is telling the truth about how horrible these women are — how they appease terrorists; how they smear America as a country filled with concentration camps; how they destroy tens of thousands of jobs in New York; how they’re raging anti-Semites who despise Jews; how they’re preening, wannabe dictators desperate for personal power through socialism; and how, yes, they are straight-up racists…

But it is Trump who is attacked as a racist — even though, you know, he never mentioned race.

Answer me this question: What race is he denigrating?

I’m sorry, but Trump is not responsible for the color of another person’s skin. So what he is really doing is the least racist thing any American can do, which is to treat these villains as he would anyone else who holds their toxic beliefs.

If you think Trump singles out only “people of color,” ask the straightest, squarest, lily-white males in the free world — ask Jeb Bush, Justin Amash, Bill Kristol, Joe Scarborough, Ben Sasse, Jeff Flake, Paul Ryan, and Mitt Romney about that.

New documents revisit questions about Rep. Ilhan Omar's marriage history

New investigative documents released by a state agency have given fresh life to lingering questions about the marital history of Rep. Ilhan Omar and whether she once married a man — possibly her own brother — to skirt immigration laws.

Omar has denied the allegations in the past, dismissing them as “baseless rumors” first raised in an online Somali politics forum and championed by conservative bloggers during her 2016 campaign for the Minnesota House. But she said little then or since about Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, the former husband who swept into her life in 2009 before a 2011 separation.

The questions surfaced again this month in a state probe of campaign finance violations showing that Omar filed federal taxes in 2014 and 2015 with her current husband, Ahmed Hirsi, while she was still legally married to but separated from Elmi.

Although she has legally corrected the discrepancy, she has declined to say anything about how or why it happened.

The new documents also detail the Omar campaign’s efforts to keep the story of her marriage to Elmi out of the press, arguing that detailed coverage would legitimize the accusations and invade her privacy.

Democrat ‘Squad’ Refuses to Denounce Violent Extremism by Antifa, Al-Qaeda

Members of the Democrat “Squad” were caught on camera Monday repeatedly refusing to condemn terrorism.

In the video below, you can watch as socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) refuses to condemn a terrorist attack committed by the left-wing terrorist group Antifa over the weekend at a migrant detention center.

This might be the first time in modern history where a sitting lawmaker refused to condemn a terror attack. I’ve never seen anything like it.

What’s more, the Antifa terrorist, who was shot dead by police as he tried to firebomb a federal detention center in Tacoma, Washington, appeared to be directly inspired by Ocasio-Crazy and her inflammatory lies comparing American detention centers to Nazi concentration camps.

According to various reports, the terrorist left behind a manifesto that in part read:

"It’s time to take action against the forces of evil. evil says one life is worth less than another. evil says the flow of commerce is our purpose here. evil says concentration camps for folks deemed lesser are necessary. the handmaid of evil says the concentration camps should be more humane."

But Ocasio-Crazy still refused to condemn this act, a terrorist act against the United States government fueled by her incendiary rhetoric.

Trump abortion rule deals 'devastating blow' to Planned Parenthood, group says

The Trump administration stopped taxpayer dollars from going to abortion referrals at publicly funded family planning centers on Monday.

Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion provider, sued the administration, along with 20 states and the District of Columbia, in an attempt to stop Health and Human Services, or HHS, from diverting Title X family planning funding going to abortions. But the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, with two judges appointed by Trump, rejected the plea.

“This is a devastating blow to the 4 million patients who obtain birth control, cancer screenings, and other essential care through Title X,” the organization tweeted.

Ahead of a Tuesday HHS conference, the administration formally notified clinics that it will begin to enforce the ban on abortion referrals as well as a requirement that clinics maintain separate finances from facilities that provide abortions. Another requirement, that abortion facilities cannot be under the same roof as family planning clinics, will take effect next year.

'Bill de Blasio must go - now': NY Post demands Governor Cuomo REMOVES the Mayor

The New York Post has called for Mayor Bill de Blasio to be removed from his position because he 'does not care' about the people of the city.

In an extraordinary editorial, the publication claimed de Blasio is responsible for the deaths of children because of child services failures and is also to blame for the growing number of homeless on city streets.

It called on Governor Andrew Cuomo to remove de Blasio, 'for the good of the city'.

It also highlighted how De Blasio gave his wife $850 million for her ThriveNYC mental-health initiative, and when questioned by the City Council, 'she couldn’t come up with one thing it succeeded in doing'.

The editorial comes after de Blasio defended being 1,000-miles away in Iowa when 73,000 New Yorkers were left without power during a blackout on Saturday night.
