To be perfectly honest about this, I really DON"T BLAME him. At least the innumerable inconsiderate people won't be putting dents in his vehicle with their car doors. All he has to worry about is his front bumper being sideswiped or vandals kicking or "keying" the car or slashing the tires. This is fact, not conjecture...

ReplyDeleteThe food truck was there today and is right near where this is parked. You sure they didn't just pull in to order some food and leave?
ReplyDeleteStill could park properly, but there's a couple dozen spots open and if they leaving back out in 3 minutes vs. going in the store - I'd give them a pass.
I'm with 2:17, My car has been dented, scratched, dinged and chipped on multiple occasions in parking lots around the area. Even once while I was in the car! People just don't give a sh!t.
ReplyDeleteIt's sad that this is the person's most prized possession and feels the need to protect it by being inconsiderate. I would flatten a tire or two just for spite. Not puncture, just remove needle from valve stem and replace.

ReplyDeleteI had completed my shopping and was pulling out from the line of parking spaces behind where you see my vehicle in picture. Was then going kind of catty corner as to turn right and go out but my vehicles cut out, going to make a right turn to leave parking lot. My car cut out. When it would not start is when I found my phone had died. So I went back in store to call for help. Sorry but as this shows sometimes things are not as they seem or presented.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is that odyssey has been modified to fit a wheel chair. If all the handicap spaces have been taken, this may have been the only the owner could get in and out of their car.

ReplyDelete2:42pm...you're correct. Rosenfeld's truck was there today and parked in it's usual spot. Based on the picture angle, it seems reasonable that vehicle was visiting the food truck, and not impeding any Lowe's customer parking.

You're mad at the "nosey loser" and not the inconsiderate non-driving slug who thinks only of themselves?!
Hmmm, makes me think maybe you are the driver of the pos van.
Your's is an all too frequent bad attitude so many other selfish drivers exhibit. One can only hope karma finds you and gives you the reward you so richly deserve.
That's no worse than Lowes blocking the lot from anyone entering or exiting from the south side of their lot.

If you look at how far the rearend is lifted it appears as though this van is modified to accommodate a wheelchair lift which may be the reason behind the parking. It's pretty difficult to maneuver a wheelchair in the small space between two parked cars.
ReplyDeleteDon't laugh. I had my Ford work van side swiped while I was inside retrieving some lumber for a job. My advice to anyone getting lumber - don't park in the area under the canopy to load your truck as the lumber cart will drift into your vehicle. I have known many other contractors who have experienced dented tailgates, and, had their vehicles damaged by others loading adjacent to their work vehicles.
ReplyDeleteNo excuse for this. There is plenty of parking available for them to be able to park properly. They don't have a handicapped tag either, and even if they did it does not give them any right to park like this. Somebody just thinks they are so special that rules and common decency don't apply to them.
