ReplyDeleteThis is crazy! I currently rent a 3br/1.5 bath, nearly 1800 sq. ft. on nearly 2 acres, for less than this tiny apartment in a less than ideal area.

How does a full time college kid afford 700 a month, utilities, food and deposit?

Delete11:07 AM Small mathematical problem. When it takes you thousands to clean it up after each cycle your profits are dwindling vs a family that stays for 5+ years. So economically you would be more profitable to lower the rent and seek a long term tenant.

then, throw in five more people in the apartment who can assist with the rent, you got yourself a winner for the student and the future for another slum lord apartment complex. Good five year investment before the owners sale out to a slum lord.
ReplyDelete$1269 divided by 6, that's $211.50 a month per student. And......that is exactly what will happen. I don't care if it is a 2 bedroom apartment.

ReplyDeleteHave a friend who lives in Marley manor apartments,were he pays close to 1150$ month for 2 bedroom,he just found out they are now taking section 8 vouchers from the African Americans and the place is going down hill fast,so to all living their now get out why you can

ReplyDeleteLike any Rinnier property its a huge rip off. Those apartments aren't worth that kind of money and once again, they are banking on college kids and section 8 to feather their nest. Don't rent from any Rinnier properties, they never take care of them and the pools aren't open regular hours during the summer because they're too damn cheap to hire lifeguards for each location. The ONE lifeguard rotates, so a pool could be open 10am-1pm in one place and then 2pm-5pm in another. Its just wrong. People paying all that cash for them to not even provide normal services to renters. It's just a huge scam.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, a lot of students prefer houses near the college than Rinnier's slum tenement buildings because they can walk to campus and stand alone homes allow for people to have gatherings without the neighbors upstairs or downstairs complaining.

ReplyDeleteThere needs to be affordable housing for everyone not just college kids! Its a shame because ive been searching for 3 months now just for a 2 bdrm and renters want like $800 or more! Thats just crazy..Wicomico county stinks! (Putting it nicely)
