7 Of Hillary Clinton’s Most DISGUSTING Lies!

Let’s just get straight to it. Hillary Clinton is unapologetic liar. Even when caught red handed, with voice recordings and camera film catching everything, she will still continue in her lies by twisting and altering the facts…

Now let’s not be fooled. She’s horrible at it.

She is horrible at just about everything she ventures out to do. She’s even horrible at lying! So let’s take a peek at some of her lies that have come back to haunt her in this election cycle.

We were BROKE?!? – An interview of Hillary sharing Bill and her’s financial situation once they exited the White House has her saying that they “came out of the White House not only dead broke, but in debt.” Uh. No. No you were not Hillary. Liar.

RUN FOR COVER! – I was just reminded of this one the other day, but during the 2008 campaign, Clinton stated adamantly that she and her entourage came under sniper fire in Bosnia during the ’90s. She claimed that they had to run for the vehicles…but video shows a calm and quiet landing, and a little girl meeting her and giving a flowers right there on the tarmac. Her excuse once confronted was that she simply “misspoke.” Liar.

Immigrant Pandering? – Clinton has claimed that ALL her Grandparents were immigrants, trying to pander for the vote. She was called out on it as it was found that only one grandparent was an immigrant. Liar

Obama: VFW Halls Are Getting the Wrong Story About America

Conservative media is giving Americans an incorrect view of the economy and racial divisions, President Barack Obama argued during a speech Wednesday in Elkhart, Indiana.

"America's economy is not just better than it was eight years ago. It is the strongest, most durable economy in the world," Obama said.

As he approaches his final months in office, Obama told the crowd he is concerned about the current direction of politics.

"I mean, we have been hearing this story for decades: tales about welfare queens, talking about takers, talking about the '47 percent,'" he said, in reference to Mitt Romney's secretly recorded comments during the 2012 campaign.

Clinton's IT Aide to Plead the Fifth in Email Lawsuit

The man believed to have set up and maintained Hillary Clinton's private email server will assert his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination and refuse to answer questions as part of an open records lawsuit against the State Department, The Hill newspaper reported on Wednesday.

Bryan Pagliano will decline to answer questions from Judicial Watch, the conservative legal watchdog group, during a deposition scheduled for Monday, his lawyers wrote in a court filing on Wednesday afternoon, according to The Hill.

Trump Targets Republicans Who Won't Support Him

Donald Trump has started punishing Republicans who don't back him — sending the clear message to get in line or get out.

The latest issue came to a head when he was openly critical of New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez at a recent rally in Albuquerque, the Washington Examiner reports.

"The governor has to do a better job," Trump said, the Examiner reports. "She's not doing the job."

Martinez had criticized Trump on his immigration policy and, at one point, refused to share a stage with the presumptive Republican presidential nominee. And it didn't get unnoticed by Trump.

"You think I'm going to change?" Trump said. "I'm not changing. If I have a Republican that's not on my side, I'm not going to — why should I be particularly nice to the person?"

JUST IN: Missing Japanese boy Yamato Tanooka is found alive after six days

Seven-year-old had not been seen since Saturday after his parents said they abandoned him in a forest on the island of Hokkaido as punishment

A seven-year-old boy who went missing in bear-inhabited forests in northern Japan after his parents said they abandoned him as punishment, has been found alive, according to authorities.

“The boy was found alive, but we don’t have information on details of his condition,” Satoshi Saito, a fire department rescuer, told AFP. Saito said the boy identified himself as Yamato Tanooka.

Yamato has been missing since Saturday after his parents said they made him get out of their car on a mountain road because he was misbehaving. He was reportedly without food or water.

1,400-Pound Tiger Shark Caught On SC Coast

MEET “CHESSIE”

A fisherman caught a 1,400-pound Tiger shark off the coast of Hilton Head Island, S.C. this week … only to discover it was the same shark he caught in nearby waters just over a year ago.

Chip Michalove first caught the shark – named “Chessie” (after the nearby Chechessie River) – last May. At the time, it weighed 1,200 pounds.

The shark has traveled more than 2,000 miles in that time span.

How Banks, Other Businesses Can Avoid Becoming Cyber-Crime Victims

Apparently, the heist couldn’t have been any simpler if it had been drawn up in the lunch line at an elementary school cafeteria.

In February, Bangladesh’s central bank saw $81 million disappear out a virtual window. Now it’s been revealed that, although the computer hackers used custom-made malware, they probably didn’t need to work up a cyber sweat while pulling off their long-distance theft. The bank had no firewalls to defend against intruders and its computers were linked to global-financial networks through second-hand routers that cost $10.

“It’s stunning that a major institution would leave itself so defenseless in this day and age when everyone should know that cyber criminals are waiting for you to let your guard down,” says Gary S. Miliefsky, CEO of SnoopWall (www.snoopwall.com), a company that specializes in cyber security.

But he says the episode can serve as a cautionary tale for other banks and any businesses that want to protect themselves against today’s cyber versions of Bonnie and Clyde.

“Most companies have some vulnerability and it doesn’t take a sophisticated attack to cause a security breach,” Miliefsky says. “Often on the hackers’ end of things, it just takes patience.”

For example, he says, a cyber criminal can gain access by sending a company an email with an attachment called a Remote Access Trojan, or RAT, that looks like a normal file. All it takes is for an unsuspecting employee to open that file and, voila, security is compromised.

That’s bad for companies, of course, but it’s also bad for consumers, whose bank account, credit card and other private information is at risk.

Miliefsky says it’s important to go on the offensive. Among his recommendations:

• Employers need to train their staffs. Those employees sitting at their computers each day are a company’s first line of defense. An errant click on the wrong email is like unlocking the front door, so employees should be made aware of the dangers and told what do about suspicious email.
• Companies should routinely update their defenses. Outdated technology and outdated security software make a company’s computers vulnerable to attack. It’s important that businesses periodically review their IT operations to make sure what worked last year still provides the needed security.
• Consumers must take their own safety measures. It would be nice to expect banks and retailers to protect consumer information, but the average person can’t count on that. Miliefsky suggests consumers take personal security measures such as frequently changing passwords and deleting any phone apps they don’t use. Many apps contain malware that can spy on you.

“Most people log onto the internet every day without much thought about how susceptible they are to being hacked,” Miliefsky says. “It takes vigilance to protect yourself against cyber criminals who are working hard to figure their way around security measures.”

3 dead, 3 injured, 6 missing after flood sweeps Army truck

HOUSTON (AP) Three soldiers were killed and six were missing after an Army truck was washed from a low-water crossing and overturned Thursday in a rain-swollen creek at Fort Hood, the Texas Army post said.

The accident happened about 11:30 a.m. Thursday in an area near Cold Springs and Owl Creek, Fort Hood said in a statement.

Three soldiers were rescued from the swift water and were in stable condition Thursday afternoon at Coryell Memorial Healthcare System in Gatesville.

Army aircraft, canine search teams, swift-water rescue watercraft and heavy trucks were being used in the search for the six missing soldiers. The Army did not release the names of the dead because it was still notifying relatives.

1,037 Syrian Refugees Admitted in May: Two Christians, 1,035 Muslims

(CNSNews.com) – The number of Syrian refugees admitted into the United States jumped to 1,037 during May – an increase of 130 percent over the previous month – but the proportion of Christians among them remains miniscule: two Christians (0.19 percent) compared to 1,035 Muslims.

May’s figure of 1,037 Syrian refugees brings the total number since the beginning of 2016 to 2,099 – compared to 2,192 for the whole of 2015, according to State Department Refugee Processing Center data.

Earlier years since the Syrian civil war began saw much smaller numbers arriving – 20 in 2011 (dated from mid-March); 41 in 2012; 45 in 2013; and 249 in 2014.

Of the 2,099 Syrian refugees admitted so far this year, six (0.28 percent) are Christians, 2,043 (97.3 percent) are Sunni Muslims. The remaining 50 are 17 (0.8 percent) Shi’a, 30 (1.4 percent) other Muslims and 10 (0.47 percent) Yazidis.

Similar proportions are seen in the number of Syrian refugees having arrived in the U.S. since the start of fiscal year 2016: 2,773 in total, comprising 12 (0.4 percent) Christians, 2,703 (97.4 percent) Sunnis, 17 (0.6 percent) Shi’a, 30 (1.1 percent) other Muslims and 10 (0.3 percent) Yazidis.

And since the conflict erupted, of a total of 4,646 Syrian refugees admitted, 60 (1.3 percent) are Christians; 4,422 (95.1 percent) are Sunni Muslims. The remaining 163 include Shi’a, other Muslims, Zoroastrians, Baha’i, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Yazidi, and refugees identified as “other religion” or as having “no religion.”

Did America's Enemies Hack Crooked Hillary's Bathroom Server?

Hillary Clinton claims her illegal email server was secure and no one tried to hack it.

The problem for her is her own State Department says she’s lying.

The Washington Examiner reports:

A spokesman for the State Department admitted Wednesday the agency was aware hackers had attempted to breach Hillary Clinton's private server.

"I do know there were hack attempts, but none of them were successful," said Mark Toner, State Department spokesman, at an agency briefing.

Toner was addressing questions about an inspector general report released to lawmakers earlier Wednesday that highlighted problems with Clinton's private email use.

When pressed on the fact that the watchdog report did not actually specify whether attempted cybersecurity breaches were successful, Toner said he "misspoke."

Lawless Obama Defies Federal Court to Help Illegals

When Barack Obama was running for president, he often decried so-called abuses of power during the Bush years. In office, he seems to have acquired a taste for them:

The U.S. Department of Justice is refusing an order from a federal judge to release details of benefits provided to over 100,000 illegal immigrants under President Barack Obama’s executive action on immigration.

U.S. District Court Judge Andrew S. Hanen ordered the Justice Department to produce a list of individuals who received deportation deferrals from the 2014 DHS directive in a decision made May 19. The decision was made after learning DoJ had not disclosed that approximately 100,000 illegal immigrants had received three-year deferrals from deportation between November 20, 2014 and March 3, 2015. The Justice Department urged Hanen to stay his order in a brief released late Tuesday.

The 2014 DHS directive expanded a program that allowed individuals who immigrated illegally to the United States as children to obtain work permits and renewable two-year deferrals from deportation. The 2014 directive expanded this program, allowing the parents of such individuals to obtain work permits. It also increased the deferral period from two years to three.

Judge Hanen says the Justice Department assured him the 2014 program would not be implemented until February 2015, affording him time to evaluate the case. However, the federal government began issuing deferrals months earlier, in November 2014.

“They knowingly continued to hide this conduct for months and only admitted it once they realized the number of violations exceeded 100,000,” Judge Hanen wrote in his order. He also ordered Justice Department attorneys to attend a legal ethics course.

The Justice Department is alleging that this request overburdens DHS, and that releasing these records would violate the privacy of those who received benefits(illegally). This is total bunk. First, the information isn't likely to be released right away, but even if it were, the American people have a right to know, even by some more restrictive measure(name redactions, etc.) how their tax dollars are being funneled to foreigners to facilitate and encourage law breaking.

Latinos Make Spirited Case For Donald Trump

There are a whole lot of Latinos who are disrupting the media’s anti-immigrant narrative pushed by the mainstream media.

Mark F. (@Latinos4Trump) put together a video making the case for why Angelo Gomez supports Donald Trump for president, and why many other Latinos do, too.

“My name is Angelo Gomez and I have something very clear to say to the liberal media and Hillary Clinton: yes, I’m an American Latino who supports Donald Trump.

“Yes, I come from a family rooted in immigrants and I support Donald J. Trump to be the next president of the United States.

“I support Donald Trump with every ounce of my being,” Gomez says, “for the very reasons that this country, that the Constitution, that this flag behind me was founded upon and that’s putting the American people first. That’s putting this country first.”

He adds, “Hillary Clinton is the face of an incompetent politician who has lied to, who has cheated, and who has gotten Americans killed.

“If we get this wrong, our country will no longer be here for the future generations,” Gomez says.

The video shows dozens of Latinos at rallies and around the country supporting Trump.

Hooters that served Ofc. Leotta's killer targeted by county

ROCKVILLE (WUSA9) -- The bar that served Luis Reluzco drinks until his BAC was nearly three times the legal limit on the night he killed Ofc. Noah Leotta could soon lose its liquor license, if Montgomery County gets its way.

The county Board of License Commissioners sent a formal letter to the Hooters on Rockville Pike on Tuesday, charging them with “allowing a person to be serve and/or to comsume alcoholic beverages past the point of intoxication” on the night Leotta was killed. Representatives of the bar/restaurant will have to appear at a “show cause” hearing on June 16th.

Hooters did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the letter sent by the county.

Reluzco pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter last month, clearing the way for the county to act against the restaurant.

IG: EPA Still Blocking Access to Investigations

The Environmental Protection Agency is still blocking its inspector general from investigating wrongdoing at the agency, according to the government watchdog’s semi-annual report to Congress.

More than a year after coming under scrutiny for stonewalling an investigation into a senior official accused of sexually harassing over a dozen women, the EPA is still not being cooperative with the inspector general.

“In the previous Semiannual Report to Congress, we reported theoretical progress with regard to the longstanding denial of access for the [Office of Inspector General] OIG by the EPA’s Office of Homeland Security (OHS) to information sought by the OIG,” the report said. “After considerable delay, OHS provided some documents to the OIG but continued to deny access to others.”

The dispute stems from an investigation into a senior official who was accused of harassing 16 women over a decade. The inspector general had found that other senior EPA officials “likely knew about the sexual harassment, but did nothing for six months.”

The official retired without punishment the same day he was set to be interviewed by the inspector general.

No Search Warrant Needed To Track Cell Phones In Md.

Rick Ritter breaks down the ruling from one of the highest federal courts.

The ruling means no search warrant is needed to track your cell phone. Just a court order clears the way for police to obtain your cell phone information if it’s needed for an investigation.

From a simple call to a text, even just walking around on your phone. It’s cell data that’s now easier for police to obtain if you’re a prime suspect.

Man’s Cross Country Journey On Horseback Rolls Through Berlin

BERLIN – “God has a plan. I just try to stay out of the way.”

That’s what Doc Mishler will tell you if you encounter him on one of his cross country treks. The octogenarian has spent more than a decade wandering across the country on horseback, spreading the word of the Lord and advocating for hungry children.

“This journey’s not about me it’s about feeding hungry children,” he said. “It’s not a way that’s lacking it’s the will to do it. There’s no excuse.”

Mishler, clad in a red bandanna and cowboy hat, chatted with folks in Berlin Wednesday as he gave his horses a rest in the shade in front of the Berlin library. Those who stopped to say hello were treated to a passionate lecture on the failings of organized religion and the importance of simply feeding the hungry. He directs people interested in his cause to www.churchcommunitiesinternational.org, the website of Bruderhof, an international Christian community.

Mishler says his personal journey started in 2002 after reading the book “How Then Shall We Live” and surviving cancer. His first cross-country trek went from Choteau, Montana, to Washington D.C. “by way of California.” After sharing his message in the nation’s capital, he’s continued his efforts to spread the word of God with various trips around the country.

BREAKING: UCLA Shooter Identified

Initial press reports suggested that the UCLA shooter was a "six foot white male." The LA Times reports:

The gunman who shot and killed a UCLA professor Wednesday has been identified as Mainak Sarkar, a former doctoral student who had accused the victim of stealing his computer code and giving it to someone else, according to Los Angeles police.

Sarkar, 38, took his own life after killing William Klug, 39, in a small office in UCLA Engineering Building 4, sources confirmed. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office on Thursday did not identify the shooter, although it did confirm the victim’s identity Thursday morning.

Klug was an associate professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering and had been the target of Sarkar’s anger on social media for months. On March 10, Sarkar called the professor a “very sick person” who should not be trusted.

“William Klug, UCLA professor is not the kind of person when you think of a professor. He is a very sick person. I urge every new student coming to UCLA to stay away from this guy,” Sarkar wrote. “He made me really sick. Your enemy is my enemy. But your friend can do a lot more harm. Be careful about whom you trust.”

A source called the gunman’s accusations “absolutely untrue.”

“The idea that somebody took his ideas is absolutely psychotic,” the university source said.

Many are alleging that Sakar is a Muslim, but this has yet to be confirmed. But once again, the media narrative that unhinged, Christian white men bitterly clinging to their guns and religion are running around the country shooting people with machine guns is totally false.

Attorneys suing Trump U paid $675,000 to Clintons for speeches

NEW YORK – Documents released Wednesday in a case accusing Trump University of fraud confirmed the law firm behind the national class-action lawsuit against Trump University paid Bill and Hillary Clinton a total of $675,000 for speeches.

Some 400 pages of court exhibits were ordered released Friday by a U.S. district judge.

LawNewZ.com reported Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP, the San Diego-based law firm with the most lawyers representing plaintiffs in the two currently active class action suits in the Trump University case, in total paid Hillary Clinton $450,000 for two speeches. One was given in September 2013 and the second a year later, in September 2014, in addition to the $225,000 the San Diego law firm paid Bill Clinton for a speech he gave in 2009 before the firm was renamed.

The widely read economics blog ZeroHedge.com also noted that amid the litigation, Patrick Coughlin, one of the Robbins Geller attorneys, maxed out his contributions to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

ATV rider stunts pose summer danger on crowded streets

WASHINGTON — A new Instagram video of an ATV rider, performing dangerous stunts on Pennsylvania Avenue in District Heights, Maryland, and seemingly taunting a nearby police officer, serves as a vivid reminder of an ongoing danger for local drivers.

Posted over the weekend, the video shows a male rider on the four-wheel vehicle popping wheelies, cutting off a Prince George’s County police cruiser and zooming into Pennsylvania Avenue traffic near Parkland Drive.

Urged on by the person recording the video, the rider takes his hands off the handlebars several times.

“We did not pursue in this case as the crimes committed do not warrant pursuit according to our departmental policy,” said police spokesman Officer Tyler Hunter. The department’s “no chase” policy in regards to ATVs and dirt bikes is consistent with most departments in the region.

Officials Renew Warnings About Teens & Distracted Driving

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — It’s a time on the roadways that’s so deadly, it’s been called the 100 deadliest days. This is the period that starts on Memorial Day when more young drivers are on the roads and are more likely to be involved in a deadly wreck.

Ava-joye Burnett has more on the startling numbers that have officials ringing the alarm about distracted driving.

AAA says 60% of teen crashes happen when they lose focus—and the number of wrecks goes up even more in the summer.

Seeing a video of distracted driving shows just how quickly things can go wrong. No one in the videos was seriously hurt but they’re further proof distracted driving can change a life in a second.

“I had to relearn how to read, write, walk, talk—everything,” said Liz Marks.

Owners of A Maryland Home Health Care Agency Sentenced to Prison for Taking Part in $80 Million Medicaid Fraud

Defendants Used Money to Finance a Lavish Lifestyle

Florence Bikundi, 53, and her husband, Michael D. Bikundi Sr. 63, of Mitchellville, Maryland, and the owners of Global Healthcare Inc., a home care agency, were sentenced today to prison terms for health care fraud, money laundering, and other charges stemming from a scheme in which they and others defrauded the District of Columbia Medicaid program of over $80 million.

The sentences were announced by U.S. Attorney Channing D. Phillips for the District of Columbia; Assistant Director in Charge Paul M. Abbate of the FBI’s Washington Field Office; Special Agent in Charge Nicholas DiGiulio of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG), for the region that includes Washington, D.C.; Special Agent in Charge Brian J. Ebert of the U.S. Secret Service’s Washington Field Office, and Inspector General Daniel W. Lucas for the District of Columbia (D.C. OIG).

The two defendants were found guilty on Nov. 12, 2015 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. The Honorable Chief Judge Beryl A. Howell sentenced Florence Bikundi to 10 years in prison. She sentenced Michael D. Bikundi Sr. to seven years in prison. Following their prison terms, the Bikundis will be placed on three years of supervised release. Judge Howell earlier ordered them to forfeit over $11 million seized from 76 bank accounts; their residence, worth approximately $1 million; $73,000 in cash seized from their residence and five luxury vehicles with a total purchase price of more than $400,000. She also imposed a forfeiture money judgment of $39,989,956 on both defendants. Finally, Judge Howell ordered the defendants to pay $80,620,929 in restitution to D.C. Medicaid.

“The investigation of this case exposed a massive health care fraud that cheated the District of Columbia Medicaid program of more than $80 million that could have been spent on people who needed services,” said U.S. Attorney Phillips. “Florence and Michael Bikundi enriched themselves for years by operating a rogue home care agency. Hopefully the sentences today will serve as a deterrent to other unscrupulous health care providers who aim to steal the taxpayers’ money.”

“The Bikundis funded their lavish lifestyle by defrauding the District of Columbia’s Medicaid program designed to provide for those in need,” said Assistant Director in Charge Abbate. “The FBI will continue to pursue criminals who target our health care system in order to protect its integrity and to prevent fraud. I commend the dedicated agents, analysts and prosecutors who worked to bring this case to justice.”

Safe Memorial Day Weekend Seen in Maryland

Fewer Boating Accidents; No Fatalities Reported

A safety-conscious public and a concerted effort by Maryland Natural Resources Police kept the Memorial Day weekend free of fatalities and with just four reported boat accidents.

“We did everything in our power to be visible, to interact, to educate,” Natural Resources Police Superintendent Colonel Robert K. “Ken” Ziegler Jr. said. “Our officers spoke with nearly 18,000 boaters, anglers and state park visitors. Together, with our reserve officer force, they conducted more than 2,400 free boat inspections across the state.”

Boating accidents declined 55 percent this Memorial Day weekend compared to the same period last year and none of the mishaps resulted in life-threatening injuries. Two incidents involved boats capsizing on Chesapeake Bay tributaries, one was a minor tubing accident on Deep Creek Lake and the fourth occurred as a boat docked at Smallwood State Park.

Statewide, officers responded to 620 calls for service, a five percent increase over 2015. They arrested 15 people for impaired boating or impaired driving, compared to seven arrests last year. They wrote a total of 402 tickets and 1,297 warnings for all offenses, increases over last year of four percent and 17 percent respectively.

Needing a restroom no reason for speeding, judge says

EASTVILLE, Va. — A woman who told a judge she was speeding toward a restroom after being clocked at 92 mph on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel couldn't persuade him of the urgency of her needs.

On Tuesday in Northampton County Circuit Court, Judge W. Revell Lewis III found Cinthya Rivas, 31, of New York City guilty of reckless driving in the Jan. 10 incident. The speed limit on the 17.6-mile toll bridge is posted at 55 mph.

When bridge-tunnel police stopped her, Rivas gave no reason why she was speeding. But in court, she said she was menstruating, needed a restroom immediately and was heading toward a stop several miles north that was indicated on her GPS.

Surprise Foal Expected Soon On Assateague Island; Gokey Go Bones Expected To Birth Soon

ASSATEAGUE — The ongoing baby boom on Assateague Island is even bigger than first expected after officials on the barrier island late last week learned a fourth mare is pregnant and expecting at any time.

In an annual November ritual on the barrier island, a biological technician conducts pregnancy tests of sorts on many of the mares in the wild horse population on Assateague in an attempt to predict how many, if any, new foals will join the herd in the coming year. When the results came back late last year, Assateague officials announced three mares on the island, including Carol’s Girl, JoJo and Charmed were all expected to birth falls this spring and early summer, creating a virtual baby boom on the island.

Two of the foals have already been born. Carol’s Girl birthed her foal in April and JoJo gave birth to her foal about three weeks ago, leaving only Charmed still expecting. Charmed is expected to birth her foal at any time now. However, the Assateague Island Alliance (AIA), the friends group of the Assateague Island National Seashore, which advocates on behalf of the island’s most famed residents, learned last week yet another mare, Gokey Go Bones, is also pregnant and is expected to give birth at any time.

Judge Presiding Over Trump University Case Is Member Of La Raza Lawyers Group

United States District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel, the man presiding over the class-action lawsuit against Trump University, is a member of the La Raza Lawyers of San Diego and oversaw the gift of a law school scholarship to an illegal alien.

In his 2011 judicial questionnaire to become a federal judge, Curiel revealed his history with La Raza. GotNews.com originally reported this Tuesday, and The Daily Caller has independently verified. Curiel lists “La Raza Lawyers of San Diego” as a legal association he has been a part or is a part of on the questionnaire. Curiel’s office at the United States District Court for the Southern District of California confirmed to TheDC the judge’s membership in the group.

Curiel reveals more ties to the group in his questionnaire. He has spoken at two receptions held by La Raza Lawyers of San Diego, the most recent being in 2011. Last year, the group also held a reception for Curiel. The description of the event says, “This year we are proud to be honoring Judge Gonzalo Curiel at our reception and recognizing him for his leadership and support to the community and to our Association!”

Microchipping Clinic

In my brief time here I have noticed we have several strays come in with no microchips. In an effort to increase the return to owner rate and decrease the time an animal has to wait in the shelter for an owner to be located we will be holding a microchipping clinic at the Humane Society of Wicomico County on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 11A.M.-1P.M. The cost will be just $10. I also encourage anyone who already has a microchip for their animal to update the contact information associated with the chip if they have moved or changed phone numbers since getting the chip.

Respectfully,

COAST GUARD, PARTNER AGENCIES, GOOD SAMARITAN ASSIST 22 IN WATER NEAR BLOODSWORTH ISLAND, MD.

BALTIMORE — The Coast Guard, local partner agencies and a good Samaritan responded Wednesday to a mayday call from a boat that sank with 22 people aboard near Bloodsworth Island.

Responding agencies included Maryland Natural Resources Police, Maryland State Police, Dorchester County EMS and Naval Air Station Patuxent River.

Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Maryland-National Capital Region received a digital selective calling alert of distress with the boats Maritime Mobile Service Identity number from a boater aboard a 40-foot boat. The DSC notification was followed by a distress call over VHF-FM marine channel 16 stating, “Mayday, mayday, mayday. This is the motor vessel Karen N. We have sunk off of Bloodsworth Island.” Communications were lost soon after.

Sector Maryland-National Capital Region issued an urgent marine information broadcast and launched boat crews from Coast Guard Station Crisfield, while SYSCOM Helicopter Communications notified Maryland State Police and launched two helicopter crews.

A good Samaritan arrived on scene, brought the 22 boaters aboard, transported them to Wingate and transferred them to awaiting EMS personnel.

“As soon as we received the DSC alert we knew their exact position,” said Lt j.g. Issac Yates, a command duty officer at the Sector Maryland-National Capital Region command center.

“When the owner of a vessel connects their radio to a GPS, the signal sent after pressing the DSC alert button will include the GPS position,” said Yates. “If they’ve gone to the [maritime mobile service identity] website and registered their vessel with the appropriate vessel owner information, the DSC alert will also send the MMSI code number with the signal and we can look up the owner’s information while also knowing the exact position of when the alert was pressed.”

EMS determined one person was in need of an airlift to Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

Other injured personnel were transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center via ambulance.

“All 22 persons in the water were wearing their life preservers,” said Yates. “That greatly enhanced their survivability.”

This a true example of when two people really know each other----

Retired Veteran with a very Smart Wife...

Early one morning, an elderly retired veteran just finished a piece of artwork
He had been working on and yelled to his wife. "Honey! Come see what I created! It's an abstract panorama, depicting the seven Years of the Obama administration!"

She yelled back, "Flush the toilet Jim and come eat your breakfast!"
