Seriously overpriced. It would be one thing if restored but it sure doesn't look like a restoration. Looks like a project car. Agree w/first comment. $50. It will take around $5K to properly restore to warrant $15K price tag.
Hold your breath while trying to accelerate onto a major highway. You will likely hear someone blowing their horn too. I only tried it once back in the 60's and that was enough.
The Corvair engines made a really powerful conversion in a VW Beetle. In the late 60's Corvair came out with a supercharged 180 HP (I believe). It turned a VW into a rocket ship.
I'll give you $50 CASH.
ReplyDeleteand you probably would need to borrow most of it..

ReplyDeleteIf a car costs $50, and it's $5,000 to make it worth $15,000, that's a good investment.
DeleteDon't know what it's worth to someone who actually wants it, but I'd guess it's well shy of $15,000. Not worth hauling off for scrap metal, to me.

ReplyDeleteI'm in! I'll trade you a 2000 F-150 that I have just had modified completely! Well, let's say, totally! And it's red, too! Even trade. LOL!
