Hacktivist group Anonymous has claimed responsibility for a massive cyber attack against Turkey that took down hundreds of thousands of websites in the country.
Anonymous claimed to have carried out the attacks over Turkey’s support of the Islamic State, despite the fact that the government has repeatedly denied helping the terror group.
"Dear government of Turkey, if you don't stop supporting ISIS, we will continue attacking your Internet, your root DNS, your banks and take your government sites down,” said a voice a video posted to an Anonymous YouTube channel, which has since been removed.
"After the root DNS we will start to hit your airports, military assets and private state connections,” it added. “We will destroy your critical banking infrastructure."

Trump Warns Clinton: Attack Him as Sexist & Bill’s Indiscretions Become Fair Game
This morning on Fox & Friends, Trump threw down the gauntlet with Hillary Clinton. If she attacks him as sexist, then Bill Clinton’s indiscretions are fair game and Trump will use them relentlessly against her. This is political warfare and the gloves are now coming off. This isn’t Mitt Romney that Hillary is sparring with… this is Donald Trump and he doesn’t hold back. He’ll beat her over the head with Bill’s philandering and immorality and he’ll annihilate her in social media over it. I don’t blame Trump. If the Hildabeast plays the woman’s card on The Donald, she deserves whatever she gets on the subject and it is long past due.
Sunday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends” Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said if the Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton attacks him as sexist, it is “fair game” to bring up her husband former President Bill Clinton’s indiscretions.
Trump said. “I think he’s fair game because his presidency was considered to be troubled, to put it mildly, Because of all the things she’s mentioning to me. She actually said sexism, I don’t know if you saw the following tweet, but I turned her words against her from that standpoint. She’s got to be careful and fair. We all have to fight fairly and we have to fight for the good of the country, for the good of the people, for the good of everybody. But we have to fight fairly. And she’s playing the woman’s card. It’s like, give me a break. I have had so many women come up to me, saying, ‘you have to keep her out.’ She’s just terrible. She’s playing the woman’s card left and right. And women are more upset about it than anybody else, including most men.

Liberal and Conservative Elites stunned at mind-blowing turnaround in Donald Trump’s poll numbers explains why he’s blowing everyone out of the water
At a certain point the so-called Conservative intelligentsia types like George Will and David Brooks become useless to listen to because their own self-interests doesn’t allow them to go beyond the bubble thinking of Washington D.C. They rather stay in the bubble and get invited to D.C. cocktail parties with other elites than to embrace what’s happening among the regular folks in America.
Donald Trump not only represents a tipping point against seven years of Barack Obama radical Leftistism, but also more importantly a rebellion against the GOP establishment who governs against the will of the base, who refuses to fight for conservative principles, and a emphatic rejection of the GOP’s habit of putting up mushy moderates as their nominee. There isn’t a conservative pundit that would ever report this because that would banish then from the club.

Inside Of Madonna’s Ugly Custody Battle
Madonna and her ex-husband are currently embroiled in an ugly custody battle.
The singer’s 15-year-old son went on tour with his mother this summer, but in December he ran away to his father Guy Ritchie’s home in London. It was reportedly because he was “fed up with the singer, her lifestyle and her parenting skills,” TMZ reported Tuesday.
When his mother demanded he board a plane to return to Manhattan for Christmas, Rocco Ritchie refused, but then Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Deborah Kaplan ordered him home two days before Christmas.

Saving Lives: 4 Gun Owners Stop Life-Threatening Incidents in 5 Days Over Christmas Holiday
Once again, proving that being armed saves peoples lives, the Crime Prevention Research Center has compiled a list of four gun owners stopping crimes in separate life-threatening incidents over a five day period during the Christmas holiday. First up, on December 22nd, Brandon Johnson was shot and killed when he tried to rob two men in Indiana during a Craigslist scam. Johnson pulled a gun on his intended victim, who had a gun of his own and put Johnson down. On December 23rd, a man tried to hold up the Captain Max Seafood restaurant in Florida. An employee pulled out his gun and ended the man’s crime spree. Both of these were exactly the right thing to do at the right time.
The Christmas season was a bad time to be a criminal near a person with a weapon.
There were a total of four incidents involving a person using a gun to stop a crime or other life-threatening incident between December 22 and December 26, according to a list compiled by the Crime Prevention Research Center.

Md. State Parks program seeks old Christmas trees for bird enrichment
WASHINGTON — You might look at an old Christmas tree at the curbside and think “recycling.” The folks at Maryland State Parks’ Scales and Tails programs look at that same tree and think “furniture.”
Ranger Sarah Milbourne, with the Department of Natural Resources, explains that recycled Christmas trees are used inside the aviaries at six state parks where the raptors in the Scales and Tails program are kept. Milbourne says the trees provide cover and enrichment for animals that came into the program because they were wounded, and can’t be returned to the wild.
Milbourne says the trees give the birds “greenery, protection, and a sense of the wild.”
Milbourne says the trees will be welcomed by the many raptors in the parks: two bald eagles; kestrels; and barred and barn owls. She says the tiny screech owls — they weigh less than 200 grams (about the same as a cup of sugar) — are especially fond of nestling into the trees.

Muslim man kidnaps his female colleague and rapes her for five days ‘to convince her to convert to Islam’
Engineer Syen Emad Hasan, 30, proposed to the 27-year-old woman but she rejected him and said her family would not allow ‘an inter-religious marriage’, police said.
He harassed her until she cut short a work trip to Dubai. When she returned home to confront Hasan, he abducted her, locked her up at his house and took away her phone.
Hasan and the woman, who has not been named, worked together at a Dell computer repairs shop in Gachibowli, Hyderabad.
When she left the company and moved to Dubai in August, he ‘continued to torture her on social media’, police said.
‘The woman told us she was forced to talk to Hasan as he showed her photos and videos of them together in Hyderabad, and threatened to send them to her father, said Inspector Ravinder.
He added: ‘He [Hasan] also demanded that she send inappropriate photos of her.’
When she returned home to Hyderabad to confront him, he snatched her away to his flat in the al-Hasanath colony, Indian Express reported.
‘He took three days’ leave and brutalised and sexually assaulted her,’ said an officer of Hyderabad’s ‘She Team’, a police unit tasked with investigating sexual assault.
They added: ‘He threatened to continue doing so until she agreed to marry him after converting to Islam. He even threatened to set her on fire and strangle her.

It’s Time to Rally Around Donald Trump
Brent Bozell has called on conservatives to rally around
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 97% for the Republican presidential nomination. Ted Cruz is a good man and a fine candidate — my own second choice — but I believe GOP frontrunner Donald Trump is the candidate for American patriots to rally around.
Bozell states that Cruz is the one candidate who will return the United States to “her Constitutional foundations and Judeo-Christian values,” explaining:
On every issue of crucial importance to conservatives—defunding Planned Parenthood, ending the Obamacare nightmare, reducing the size of government, opposing amnesty—Cruz is not only with conservatives, he’s led the fight for conservatives.
To be honest, if these were the only issues under discussion in this GOP presidential primary season I would hardly be able to make myself pay attention. It’s not that they are unimportant issues. Personally, I support every one of them. But they are not existential issues. They are not the issues on which the very future of the Republic hangs. They are issues that a responsible Republican House and Senate, if they were loyal to their oath and to their constituents, could today begin to rectify all by themselves.

The Great Truth-Teller of 2015: Donald J. Trump
Nothing raises the bitter ire of our corrupt, rotted DC Media like The Truth. These leftwing liars, these protectors of central government, these Babylonian Whores of bubbled-privilege will use any vile means at their disposal to exterminate a Truth Teller, which is why Republican frontrunner Donald Trump has faced the kind of demagoguery and venomous hate no politician not-named Sarah Palin can begin to understand.
For telling inconvenient truths, naturally the DC Media attacks Trump as a liar, and not just as a liar, but the biggest liar of the year, of ever in the history of lying.
Did Trump lie to the American people before stripping millions of their health insurance and doctors? No, that was Barack Obama and the media.
Did Trump lie about a video causing a terrorist attack? No, that was Obama and Hillary Clinton, and the DC Media.
Did Trump lie to grieving families about that same video? No, that was Hillary.
Did Trump lie about a secret email account or about millions of favor-seeking dollars from foreign governments or the taxes he filed regarding those millions of dollars from favor-seeking foreign governments? No, that was Hillary-Hillary-Hillary.
Trump’s only sin in 2015 was telling a number of Hard Truths Democrats and their media allies did not want told.

Trump Fires Back, Hitting Bill Clinton’s ‘Penchant For Sexism’
Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump late Saturday blasted the announcement that former President Bill Clinton will campaign for his wife, Hillary Clinton.
The real estate mogul said the former president has a “penchant for sexism” in a tweet.
The Democratic front-runner said in an interview last week that Trump has “a penchant for sexism” after the billionaire said she “got schlonged” in losing to then-Sen. Barack Obama in 2008.
“It’s not the first time he’s demonstrated a penchant for sexism,” Hillary Clinton told the Des Moines Register. “Again, I’m not sure anybody’s surprised that he keeps pushing the envelope."

Firearm Company to Make Set of Guns From ‘Unprecedented’ Material: ‘We Wanted to Raise the Bar’
Cabot Guns plans to do something none of its competitors have done before.
The firearm maker announced last week that it would construct a set of extraterrestrial pistols made from a 4.5 billion-year-old meteorite that was first discovered in the sub-Saharan part of Africa in 1838.
“We wanted to raise the bar again,” Cabot founder and President Rob Bianchin said in a statement. “The pistol set will be a modern work of functional art and the ultimate set of luxury guns.”

Don’t Let Liberals Tell You What You Can and Can’t Say About Hillary
CNN Don Lemon’s terrified cry of “Abandon ship!” when I refused to play my designated Trump Thumper role last week was a moment the GOP candidates need to learn from. It was more than just a hilarious meltdown by a stalwart defender of all things liberal – and the inspiration for multiple media appearances and hordes of new Twitter followers for me. It was a warning that the Democrat-defending, palace guard mainstream media is going to fight to place many of the most devastating criticisms of Hillary out-of-bounds, and the incident offered a demonstration of how it will try to do so.
Here’s the question to the Republican candidates: Are you going to just sit there and let Hillary’s minions tell you what you can and can’t say?
Are you going to gloss over Hillary’s shameful command of the Clinton attack machine’s cruel evisceration of the women who suffered the depredations of her lecherous husband?
Are you going to fail to ask the question of how we can expect Hillary to stand up to America’s enemies, like Putin and the mullahs, when they are laughing at her for allowing her priapic hubby to publicly and repeatedly humiliate her in front of the entire world?

Reporter Who Spent 10 Days With Islamic State Fighters Says There’s Only One Country the Jihadist Group Fears
A German journalist who spent 10 days with the Islamic State group and came out unharmed told a British Jewish news site that the jihadist fighters told him that the only country they fear is Israel.
“They told me they know the Israeli army is too strong for them,” journalist and former member of German parliament Jurgen Todenhofer told the U.K.’s Jewish News.
“They are not scared of the British and the Americans,” Todenhofer said. “They are scared of the Israelis and told me the Israeli army is the real danger.” He added that Israel Defense Forces can fight a guerrilla war.
The journalist said that the Islamist militants told him they hope to lure Western forces into Iraq and Syria where they could then kidnap American and British soldiers.

Hogan Administration to Invest More than $11 Million to Help Revitalize Downtowns, Strengthen Communities
New Carrollton, MD – Governor Larry Hogan today announced the award of more than $11 million to local jurisdictions through three of the state’s most effective job creation and neighborhood revitalization programs – Community Legacy, the Strategic Demolition fundand the Baltimore Regional Neighborhoods Initiative.
“My administration is committed to revitalizing Maryland’s older communities,” Governor Larry Hogan said. “These grants will help local communities make necessary improvements while paving the way for additional public and private investments in their neighborhoods and along their streets.”
Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development Secretary Kenneth C. Holt added, “The Hogan administration is committed to providing restoration and operational capital to those older communities across Maryland whose infrastructure requires immediate attention and repair. We will rely on community leaders and organizations to indicate their most pressing needs and we will respond with quick and effective support.”
The Community Legacy program provides local governments and community development organizations with resources for essential projects aimed at strengthening communities through activities such as business retention and attraction, encouraging homeownership and commercial revitalization. Fifty-five projects in 19 counties and Baltimore City received a total of $6 million in Community Legacy grants in fiscal year 2016.
The Strategic Demolition fund is aimed at providing a catalyst to projects that accelerate economic development and job production in Maryland’s sustainable communities. Funding provides assistance for critical pre-development activities such as demolition and land assembly in order to attract needed public and private investment to revitalization projects. The administration is awarding $2.075 million to nine projects.
The Baltimore Regional Neighborhoods Initiative is aimed at bringing back the vitality and increasing the ability of older neighborhoods to attract new homeowners and businesses. The awards will advance the comprehensive revitalization plans and strategic partnerships put in place by local neighborhood leaders and stakeholders. The awards of over $3 million for fiscal year 2016 will leverage an estimated $49 million in public, private and philanthropic investments.

What Is Fair? High School Students Talk About Affirmative Action
Now that the Supreme Court is considering the issue of affirmative action in college admissions, all kinds of groups are weighing in. But we're not hearing from the people who will be most affected by the court's decision: college-bound teenagers.
The teenagers we talked to attend two suburban high schools near Washington, D.C.: One is majority black and the other school has a mix of Latino, black, white and Asian students. The 16- and 17-year-olds knew little or nothing about the case that's before the Supreme Court — Fisher v. University of Texas at Austin — or about Abigail Fisher, the young woman who sued the university back in 2008. Fisher was denied admission because, she argued, the university wanted more minorities and she was white.
So here's the question we asked the students:
Should College Admissions Decisions Take Race Into Consideration?

Santa Claus Visits Children in Princess Anne
(Princess Anne, MD)Santa Claus made a special visit to Princess Anne on Dec. 12 to help Maryland State Police, from the Princess Anne Barrack X, brighten the holiday season for children and families in need.
Despite his busy schedule, Santa with his state police escorts, stopped by Greenwood Elementary School during MSP’s Winter Wonderland holiday outreach event. He was greeted at the school by the Princess Anne Barrack Commander, Lt. Patrick Metzger, and hundreds of children who were anxiously awaiting his arrival.
“Community outreach is an important part of our efforts at the Princess Anne barrack to promote a safe, healthy and stable environment for all Somerset County children and families,” Metzger said. “Together with our community partners, we were able to hold a fun event for our children, ensure they received a Christmas gift and their families had food for the holidays.”

Can't Vote But Campaigning Hard For Presidential Candidates
College student Belen Sisa loves Bernie Sanders.
Sisa, a 21-year-old who attends Chandler-Gilbert Community College, is so passionate about the Vermont senator and Democratic presidential hopeful, she was rooting for him to run for president long before he announced his candidacy.
On a recent Friday evening in downtown Phoenix, Sisa and other volunteers set up a Sanders table at the city's monthly art walk. They propped up a life-size cardboard cutout of the candidate, chanted "Feel the Bern!" and registered fellow Sanders supporters to vote in the primary.
But even though Sisa is happy to volunteer for Sanders on a Friday night, she herself won't be voting for him.
She can't.
Sisa is not a citizen, and there is no path for her to become one. She's a so-called DREAMer — she grew up undocumented in Arizona after her family came here from Argentina.
"The way that I see it is, I am one person and I can't vote, but if I get 10 people to vote that means a lot more than my vote alone, whenever I can vote," Sisa said.'

Islamic State Fighters Admit They Fear Israel: ‘These People Can Fight a Guerrilla War’
TEL AVIV – A German journalist who spent days with the Islamic State said that the only country in the Middle East that the jihadists fear is Israel because they know that the Jewish state’s “army is too strong for them.”
In an interview with the British Jewish News, Jurgen Todenhofer recalls the ten days spent behind enemy lines during which he spoke with ISIS fighters.
“The only country ISIS fears is Israel,” Todenhofer, a former member of the German parliament, said. “They told me they know the Israeli army is too strong for them.”
Todenhofer also said that ISIS is hoping to lure British and American forces into Syria and Iraq, areas where it thinks it has an advantage having captured huge swaths of land.
“They think they can defeat US and UK ground troops, who they say they have no experience in city guerrilla or terrorist strategies,” he told Jewish News. “But they know the Israelis are very tough as far as fighting against guerrillas and terrorists.”
“They are not scared of the British and the Americans, they are scared of the Israelis and told me the Israeli army is the real danger. We can’t defeat them with our current strategy. These people [the IDF] can fight a guerrilla war.”

A Captain On The Chesapeake Bay, 'Lost' Without A Skipjack
For centuries, Chesapeake Bay oysters were harvested by skipjacks, those tall, sleek, singled-masted sailboats.
The skipjacks are mostly gone now, replaced by more efficient, less majestic ways of fishing. But one skipjack captain refuses to fade away.
Kermit Travers, 78, is one of the first and last African-American skipjack captains. He's been sailing the Chesapeake for most of his life.
"If this boat right here could talk right now, this boat would tell you all about me," Travers says.
He loves the water, he says. "[I]f I couldn't see a skipjack around I think I'd be lost."

San Bernardino Terrorist’s Mosque Cleric Exchanged 38 Texts With Terrorist
The mosque at the center of the San Bernardino terrorist attack is back in the spotlight after one of the organization’s clerics, Roshan Abbassi, was found to have had repeated contact with terrorist Syed Farook in the months before the deadly attack which left 14 people dead and 24 people injured.
Mr. Abbassi and his fellow teachers at the mosque had previously claimed that they barely knew Mr. Farook, despite his repeat attendance at the Dar al Uloom al Islamiyyah mosque in San Bernardino.
The mosque is now believed to be a haven for Tablighi Jamaat activists – a fundamentalist, proselytizing Islamic sect known in some circles as the “Army of Darkness”.
The New York Post reports that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has found repeated phone contact between Mr. Abbassi and Mr. Farook, dating back to a two week period in June – coinciding with the terrorist attack on two military sites in Chattanooga.
Mr. Abbassi – when not dodging difficult questions from Breitbart News journalists – emphasized to reporters during a press conference held just two days after attacks that he only knew Mr. Farook very casually.
He said at the time that he only exchanged pleasantries with Mr. Farook when they both attended the mosque.
“Hello, goodbye, how are you… just casual conversation… nothing more than that,” insisted Mr. Abbassi.
But FBI agents are now investigating at least 38 messages that were allegedly exchanged between the pair during a two week span in June 2015.

Ireland rejecting American retirees under new rules
An unpublicized change in Irish immigration rules has eliminated the ability of all but wealthy non-Europen Union citizens from retiring in the country.
Effective without notice some time in March 2015, the Ireland Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS) changed the standards by which non-EU retirees are determined to be financially suitable for residency.
The new rule requires that retirees have an annual income of no less than €50,000 per person, (€100,000 for a married couple) for the remainder of their lives in Ireland, regardless of their existing cash on hand or lack of debt.
Retirees have also had their immigration status changed from Stamp 3 to Stamp 0, "a low level immigration status which is not intended to be reckonable for Long Term Residence or Citizenship. It is granted to persons who have been approved by INIS for a limited and specific stay in Ireland." according the INIS website.

Report: Top Islamic State Commander Captured In U.S. Raid
Russian media outlets are reporting that a high-ranking Islamic State commander has been captured after a U.S. special forces raid in the Iraqi city of Kirkuk.
Late Sunday, initial reports from the Russian state-controlled TASS news agency said Tarkhan Batirashvili, also known as Abu Omar al-Shishani, was apprehended after a joint U.S.-Kurdish raid.
The Pentagon has since denied the accuracy of reports, telling Russian outlet RIA Novosti that they could not confirm al-Shishani’s capture.
However, an Iraqi Interior Ministry spokesman confirmed the reports in Sputnik, another Russian outlet, in an interview Monday.
“The US commandos have captured two field commanders and Abu Omar Al-Shishani,” Iraqi Brigadier General Saad Maan told Sputnik, adding the jihadis had been moved to the city of Sulaymaniyah, a city in Iraqi Kurdistan.
A high-value target, the U.S. State Department has offered up to $5 million dollars for information on al-Shishani’s. In 2014, he was named by the U.S. Treasury Department as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist.

Meet The Lawmakers Who Sleep, Shower, Work — All On Capitol Hill
When South Dakota Republican Kristi Noem was looking for a new office at the beginning of this Congress, she knew she'd need one thing in particular: closet space.
Noem is one of dozens of lawmakers who, by day, work in the office buildings on the House side of the U.S. Capitol and, by night, live in them.
"There's storage in this room here for my blankets and pillows," Noem told NPR in a recent tour of her office in the Rayburn building.
These lawmakers say office living has some political benefit, but it's mainly good way to save a buck in Washington.
Noem sleeps on a pullout in her office. She described her morning routine this way:
"There's a gym in the basement, so I get up in the morning and go down to the member's gym and work out with a group of people," she said. "And then I go to the women's gym and shower and put my makeup on and stuff and come back up here and get dressed."

On Paper As Parent And Child, Gay Couples Annul Adoptions To Marry
We usually think about adoption as a relationship solely between parents and children.
It's not.
Before same-sex marriage became legal across the United States, some couples would become parent and child — just on paper — to get rights they were otherwise denied.
That's what Sergio Cervetti and Ken Rinker of Doylestown, Pa., did years after meeting in the fall of 1965. Rinker was 19 at the time and just back from a trip to Europe with his student dance troupe. He says he felt invigorated by Cervetti, who was five years older and a composer.
"I wasn't seeking a partner, I wasn't seeking love; it just happened," Rinker says. "So suddenly I found this person who was, to me, making my world round again."
Two years later they moved in together.

IN NYC, USING BIOLOGICAL PRONOUNS FOR TRANSGENDERS IS NOW ILLEGAL…
Naturally, there’s been an arms-race to see who can pander the fastest.
Leftists like to divide people in to groups, tell one group they are oppressed and tell the other group they are intolerant bigots if they disagree. This year, the protected class du jour was transgenders, because thank you Caitlyn Jenner.
Naturally, there’s been an arms-race to see who can pander the fastest. Leading the charge, of course, is New York City…
New York City has warned landlords, employers and businesses they could be running afoul of the law by purposely calling a transgender woman “him” or “Mr.” when she prefers a female title and pronoun, or by barring her from using a women’s restroom.
New guidelines detail the legal protections of transgender and gender-nonconforming New Yorkers and what constitutes discrimination under the city’s Human Rights Law, the New York City Commission on Human Rights said on Monday.
Some 25,000 transgender and gender non-conforming people live in New York City, where discrimination based on gender identity and expression has been illegal since 2002.
Yes, you’ve read correctly. In New York City, it is now illegal to call someone by their actual gender instead of their preferred gender. You must take part in their delusional, alternate reality or face legal consequences.

Two black people died.
A survey of the mayhem from around the country.
In Louisville, 2000 black people “rioted” at the Mall St. Matthews. In addition, shoppers report several gunshots. “Riots unfolded at Mall St. Matthews today,” reported WHAS TV news of the day after Christmas mob action. “That violence, beginning around 7, forcing mall officials to close early. It actually spread to multiple locations,” (outside the mall.)
“Why was this whole mayhem involving black kids,” asked one viewer of WHAS. “My wife and I were there plus vids show it.”
The police spokesman said the violence was “random.”

Publishers Notes: You really have to wonder WHY, all of a sudden, we are experiencing such violence from WITHIN.
I mean, if you want to destroy the American economy the very first step would be to start at the Malls. You scare enough people into not shopping there and all of those large companies will immediately fold and close their doors.
More importantly, WHY would ANY American start this kind of crap, (especially in such large numbers) knowing the massive damage it will do to our own Country?
I don't want to be a conspiracy theorist but at my age I just have to wonder...

CAUGHT ON TAPE: RUSSIAN FIGHTER JETS DESTROY HUGE ISIS OIL CONVOY IN TRANSIT TO TURKEY
Russia is making sure that as little of this oil survives and can be monetized.
One month ago, after a farcial year-long campaign to “destroy” ISIS, which achieved absolutely nothing but made the Islamic State grow bigger and stronger, culminating with the numerous terrorist attacks in the month of November, former CIA deputy director Michael Morell told Charlie Rose on PBS that the reason the US had never actually gone after the lifeblood of the ISIS regime, its oil supply chain, infrastructure and products, was because “we didn’t want to do environmental damage, and we didn’t want to destroy that infrastructure.”
In other words, the threat of a CO2 emissions spike from bombarding a convoy of ISIS oil tanker trucks far outweighs the millions of dollars in funds it would bring and fund the teaching of hundreds of new terrorists how to blow themselves up in the middle of Paris.
As to not “wanting” to destroy that infrastructure, one wonders why: was it because a down payment had been made by the “president” of NATO-member Turkey?

NFL Funds Not Used in Brain Research Grant
Nearly $16 million in new funding is making its way to researchers at several universities and institutes that investigating new ways to diagnose and treat a concussion-related brain disease that has stricken many professional football payers.
But not a cent of that new funding is coming from the NFL, which has prompted criticism of the football league, The New York Times reports.
The National Institutes of Health and the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke issued the seven-year grant as part of a long-term study of how diagnose chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a degenerative brain disease linked to repeated head hits in contact sports, while victims are still alive.
Currently, CTE can only be definitively diagnose by autopsy. Many former NFL and college football players who sustained multiple concussions on the field have been diagnosed with the condition.
Yet despite the implications that the research may have on football players and the NFL, no league money was included in the grant.
