There Are So Many Illegal Guns In DC, The Mayor Is Paying $10,000 To Get Them Off The Streets
Murders in Washington, D.C., are up more than 35 percent this year and the city’s mayor, running short on ideas, has decided to pay criminals to hand over their illegal guns.
Mayor Muriel Bowser sent a letter to city residents Wednesday offering a reward of as much as $10,000 for information that leads to the recovery of an illegal gun.(VIDEO: DC’s Police Chief Accidentally Details What’s Wrong With Gun Laws)
“Illegal firearms are responsible for most homicides in the District. And illegal guns continue to make their way into the hands of violent criminals,” Bowser wrote. “Our police department is making progress – but they cannot do it alone.”

Second Yosemite tourist diagnosed with plague
A recent visitor to Yosemite National Park has been diagnosed with what is believed to be the plague, state health officials said Tuesday, the second such case in as many months.
The patient, who was not identified, visited California from Georgia in early August, with stops in Yosemite and the Sierra National Forest, officials said. The person is being treated in Georgia.
A child from Los Angeles County who visited Yosemite was diagnosed with the plague in July, the first reported case of the disease in the state since 2006. The child is recovering, health officials said.
The plague is carried by squirrels, chipmunks, other small rodents and their fleas. More than 300 campsites at the Tuolumne Meadows campground in Yosemite were closed Monday after two squirrels died of plague in the area.

Bakers Who Were Fined $135,000 for Gay Wedding Cake Refusal Deliver a Major Surprise — and a Powerful Message — to 10 Gay Rights Groups
Aaron and Melissa Klein, owners of Sweetcakes by Melissa, were ordered by Oregon state officials last month to pay $135,000 in damages after they declined to make a wedding cake for a lesbian couple. Now, the bakers are sending a powerful message to gay rights groups.
The Kleins, who continue to defy a July 13 order from Oregon’s Bureau of Labor and Industries, decided this week that they wanted to let gays and lesbians know that, despite ideological and theological differences, they love and care about them.
So, the husband and wife duo baked 10 cakes, packaged them up and drove to California, where they collaborated with Ray Comfort — the Christian leader who recently released “Audacity,” a movie about homosexuality — and mailed them out to gay rights groups on Wednesday.

State Department Destroyed Clinton Aides’ BlackBerrys
The State Department destroyed the BlackBerry devices issued to two top aides of former Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton and never issued Mrs. Clinton a device at all, officials told a federal court Wednesday in a filing that raises still more security questions.
The filing came a day before officials will have to appear in court to detail the steps they took to try to track down Mrs. Clinton’s emails, and whatever computers or other devices she may have used to send them.
Judicial Watch, a conservative public interest law firm, has sued to get a look at the emails of Mrs. Clinton and two top aides at State: Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills.
After Mrs. Clinton said she had deleted messages from her server, Judicial Watch prodded the State Department to try to dig up her electronic devices to see if any messages could be recovered.
State, on Wednesday, said that was impossible.
“[The department] does not believe that any personal computing device was issued by the department to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and has not located any such device,” administration officials said.
Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, said that means Mrs. Clinton, who did use such devices during her time in office, must have issued one to herself — raising major national security questions.
“If the State Department was not providing secure email devices to Mrs. Clinton, who was? Best Buy? Target? Mrs. Clinton clearly did whatever she wanted, without regard to national security or federal record-keeping laws,” Mr. Fitton said.

It took 2 years for charges in Geer’s death. That could be the easy part.
It took two years, the involvement of county and federal prosecutors and a special grand jury before a former Fairfax County police officer was indicted Monday on a charge of second-degree murder in the shooting of an unarmed Springfield, Va., man in 2013.
But for prosecutors, the hard work may just be beginning.
Legal experts and former prosecutors said securing a conviction against Adam D. Torres in the killing of 46-year-old John Geer may be difficult. For social and legal reasons, prosecuting a police officer presents challenges not seen in other cases.

Williams: Academic Fascism II
Last week's column highlighted college on-campus absurdities and the ongoing attack on free speech and plain comm sense. As parents gear up to fork over $20,000 to $60,000 for college tuition, they might benefit from knowing what greets their youngsters. Deceitful college officials, who visit high schools to recruit students and talk to parents, conceal the worst of their campus practices. Let's expose some of it.
Christina Hoff Sommers is an avowed feminist and a scholar at the American Enterprise Institute. She's spent a lifetime visiting college campuses. Recently, upon her arrival at Oberlin College, Georgetown University and other campuses, trigger warnings were issued asserting, in her words, that her "very presence on campus" was "a form of violence" and that she was threatening students' mental health. At Oberlin, 30 students and the campus therapy dog retired to a "safe room" with soft music, crayons and coloring books to escape any uncomfortable facts raised by Sommers.
The problem for students and some professors is that Sommers challenges the narrative, with credible statistical facts, that women are living in a violent, paternalistic rape culture. As a result, she has been "excommunicated from the church of campus feminism" in order to protect women from her uncomfortable facts. This prompted Sommers to say, "There's a move to get young women in combat, and yet on our campuses, they are so fragile they can't handle a speaker with dissenting views." I wonder whether there will be demands for the military to have therapy dogs and safe rooms in combat situations.

AG Frosh Joins Multistate Effort to Provide Debt Relief for Students Harmed by For-Profit Schools
Salisbury, MD -- Attorney General Brian E. Frosh today joined 10 other state attorneys general in urging the U.S. Department of Education to cancel federal student loans when for-profit schools have broken state law, and to provide a clear process for students seeking critical debt relief.
The recommendations to the Education Department, contained in a letter sent today, are the latest step by Attorney General Frosh and several colleagues to address the troubling for-profit college problem highlighted by the bankruptcy filing this year of Corinthian Colleges, which had been under investigation for deceptive loan practices by federal and state officials.
"Predatory for-profit schools use sophisticated marketing techniques to lure students in, burden them with debt, and leave them with few marketable skills," Attorney General Frosh said. "We need to use all the tools at our disposal to make sure students - who are often minorities and veterans - are protected from these schemes."

Baltimore has surpassed New York City in homicides
Baltimore has surpassed New York City for homicides this year.
A New York Police spokeswoman said the city had seen 208 homicides as of Wednesday. Baltimore recorded its 212th homicide Wednesday night.
It's a seemingly impossible milestone -- New York has more than 8.4 million people, Baltimore just 620,000.
New York peaked with 2,245 homicides in 1990, but that number has been tumbling and hit a historic low in 2014, with 328.

MUST-SEE: Black Woman Rips Council Over Illegal Aliens
LOS ANGELES — Chanell Temple, a black woman originally from Huntington Park, delivered a strident, politically incorrect speech against illegal immigration on Monday evening at the local city council meeting.
Temple, who now lives in the Hawthorne area of Los Angeles, was protesting the council’s recent decision to appoint two illegal aliens to city commissions. She told Breitbart News she had not intended to speak at the meeting, but was offended when someone compared illegal aliens to slaves. She added that she supports Donald Trump “a hundred percent.”
"Please do not tarnish the name of black slaves by comparing them to your plight," she said. "There’s no comparison. None."
"Black slaves did not break into this country, okay. They were brought here against their will. Also, black slaves are not immigrants. Immigrants are people with a choice, they come here by choice. Black slaves didn’t have choice."
Here are her full remarks (in video and transcript):

Michelle Obama LIVID After US Marine Sends Her THIS Letter
The U.S. Marines are sick of Barack Obama and his wife’s behavior. One brave soldier decided to let the first lady know exactly what he thinks of her in a bombshell letter that has just been leaked to the press.
Mrs. ObamaMore
It sickens me that I have to take time to write you this letter. I am a Marine who doesn’t recognize color because every color has lived and died for you. You live in a free country to blame your life on the color of another man’s skin. All colors have given their lives for an educated woman to have the freedom to be so ignorant. I don’t blame black people for the ignorance that comes from your mouth. I love all colors because I love all that God creates. I don’t have to like you to love you because we can’t always like the ones we love. Just because I don’t like you today doesn’t mean I can’t like you tomorrow. I don’t like you or your husband today because of what you’re doing to this country. Isn’t it funny how the truth always reveals itself in time. You and your husband never showed this side of yourselves in 2008 before he was elected.
Latino Immigrant Blasts City Over Illegal Aliens
LOS ANGELES — Francisco Rivera is a legal immigrant who delivered an impassioned speech to the Huntington Park City Council on Monday night, joining other residents in protest against their decision to appoint two illegal aliens to city commissions.
Rivera, who is originally from Jalisco, Mexico, told Breitbart News that he is opposed to honoring those who have broken the laws of the country. “You shouldn’t get special treatment or get rewarded if you break federal laws by coming illegally,” he said in an interview.
"We are a country, yes. But in this country we have laws and rules and regulations that need to be followed. How can we become—how can we be a great nation when we reward people that come to this country illegally?"
"I don’t have anything against immigrants. But there’s a difference between “immigrant” and “illegal immigrant.”
"And I ask myself: what part of “illegal” don’t you guys understand? "
"I have seen with my own very eyes how this country has gone down the drain when these people come into a community. I have heard guys say, “I don’t care about this country.”

Federal Reserve Directly Responsible for Recessions, Depressions
The US Federal Reserve is playing with the idea of raising interest rates, possibly as early as September this year.
After a six-year period of virtually zero interest rates, a ramping up of borrowing costs will certainly have tremendous consequences. It will be like taking away the punch bowl on which all the party fun rests.
Low Central Bank Rates have been Fueling Asset Price Inflation
The current situation has, of course, a history to it. Around the middle of the 1990s, the Fed’s easy monetary policy — that of Chairman Alan Greenspan — ushered in the “New Economy” boom. Generous credit and money expansion resulted in a pumping up of asset prices, in particular stock prices and their valuations.

'Ridiculous': FBI Warns Of Next Big Terror Attack
Just three weeks after ISIS attacked a Muhammad cartoonist event in Garland, Texas, the FBI began circulating an intelligence bulletin that alerts state, federal and local law enforcement about the likelihood of attacks against Muslims by “militia extremists.”
The bulletin, marked “sensitive” and not for distribution without FBI authorization, cites evidence gathered since 2013 that American militia groups are planning attacks on mosques, Islamic centers and possibly individual Muslims.
The document is dated May 28, 2015, and was leaked to Public Intelligence, an online information site committed to exposing government secrets and data. Public Intelligence posted the document on its site Aug. 18.
Named in the bulletin as news sites that provide information that supposedly fuels the militia groups were WND.com, Fox News, the Blaze, Western Journalism Center, Patriot Newswire and Pamela Geller’s blog,AtlasShrugs.com.

Daughter of German businessman killed in botched kidnapping
(Reuters) - The teenage daughter of a wealthy German businessman was killed during a botched kidnapping attempt, police said on Tuesday after a four-day intense search that gripped the nation.
Police said they found the body of the 17-year-old school girl, named only as Anneli-Marie R., in an abandoned farmhouse near Dresden. The search made headline TV news, even pushing the eurozone crisis off the front pages of newspapers.
"All our hopes and prayers have come to nothing," regional police chief Dieter Kroll told a nationally televised news conference. He added that two suspects had been detained on suspicion of murder.

Second military airship getting Baltimore-area test
ABINGDON, Md. —The U.S. military has launched a second massive blimp over Harford County.
On Wednesday, The North American Aerospace Defense Command launched the second of two helium-filled airships near Baltimore to test an East Coast missile defense system. The launch at the Army's Aberdeen Proving Ground completes the aerial part of the Joint Land Attack Cruise Missile Defense Elevated Netted Sensor System, or JLENS.
There are now two giant sensors on a leash, orbiting 10,000 feet above Harford County. The blimp-borne radar system is so massive, it makes the 18-wheeler carrying it look like a Matchbox toy vehicle.
Military officials told 11 News the airships don't spy as there are no people, cameras nor eavesdropping devices on board.

First almost fully-formed human brain grown in lab, researchers claim
Research team say tiny brain could be used to test drugs and study diseases, but scientific peers urge caution as data on breakthrough kept under wraps
An almost fully-formed human brain has been grown in a lab for the first time, claim scientists from Ohio State University. The team behind the feat hope the brain could transform our understanding of neurological disease.
Though not conscious the miniature brain, which resembles that of a five-week-old foetus, could potentially be useful for scientists who want to study the progression of developmental diseases. It could also be used to test drugs for conditions such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, since the regions they affect are in place during an early stage of brain development.

The Biggest Problem in the US Economy Today
The biggest problem in the US economy today is the death of entrepreneurialism.
The number of self-employed Americans is at an all time low. It is not coincidence that this record was set at the same time that the number of Americans receiving Government entitlements is at an all time high. A cultural shift has occurred in this country. And it is resulting in more businesses closing than being opened.
You would not know this based on the financial media's reporting, which continues to spin the narrative that we are in some kind of entrepreneurial renaissance, largely based on the fact that a handful of start-ups are valued at ridiculously high valuations due to the VC bubble.
Most of those businesses are gimmicks. And their founders represent the 0.00001% of entrepreneurs who happened to luck out more than anything else. A little known fact is that 75% of all venture-backed firms (firms that raise at least $1 million) don’t even return investors’ capital (meaning the money is gone forever).

The Real Donald Trump
If you want to know what Donald Trump is all about, drive past his Mar-a-Lago home and club on South Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach.
Fluttering over the landscape is a massive America flag visible in all directions. Originally, the flag was closer to the street and mounted on a much taller flag pole. Then the town of Palm Beach, where anyone worth less than $100 million is considered a pauper, claimed the flag’s height exceeded zoning regulations and began fining Mr. Trump $1,250 a day unless he removed it.
Mr. Trump sued for $25 million, claiming his First Amendment rights were being violated. Eventually, Mr. Trump and the Florida town settled. Mr. Trump agreed to mount the flag on a shorter flag pole. Instead of paying the fine that by then totaled $120,000, Mr. Trump agreed to donate $100,000 to Iraq War veterans’ charities or the local VA hospital.
As he is glad to tell you, Mr. Trump usually wins in the end. He moved the flag to ground that he had his workers elevate, so now it towers over the landscape just as much as before.
Tony Senecal, Mr. Trump’s former butler at Mar-a-Lago and now its historian, attributes the spat to Trump’s patriotism.
“You know Donald Trump was born on Flag Day, and I swear it’s in his blood,” Mr. Senecal says. “He really is red, white, and blue.”
If Mr. Trump has a strong patriotic streak, he is also a savvy businessman. As Norma Foerderer, Mr. Trump’s top aide for 26 years, told me, he makes provocative comments to get attention, but behind the scenes, it’s a different story.

Lying Ticket-Quota Cop
High court in Mississippi says state trooper who issued 25 bogus tickets should never have been reinstated with full back pay.
A Mississippi Highway Patrol officer who issued bogus traffic citations to meet his ticket quota was fired on Friday by the state supreme court. All nine justices agreed that the department was right to terminate Sammy William Ray and that the state Court of Appeals was wrong to intervene to give him his job back, with full back pay.
Ray was a six-year veteran trooper in 2009 when a routine audit revealed that he had been responsible for an unusually high number ofvoided traffic tickets. This kicked off an investigation that uncovered the practice of writing “ghost” tickets. That is, Ray would pull over a motorist, and once he had the driver’s personal information, he would add charges to the ticket control sheet that would pad his monthly ticket-writing statistics. Upon learning this, Ray’s troop captain charged him with insubordination and falsification of records — a firing offense.
Ray was brought before an internal performance review board, which sustained the charges and recommended his termination. Ray appealed to an employment board.

Surge In New Motorized Devices On Boardwalk Leads Council To Freeze Specific Rental Licenses
OCEAN CITY – With an increase of motorized rentals on the Boardwalk, city officials have decided to place a freeze on issuing such rental licenses for the time being until town regulations are examined.
The topic of hoverboard rentals on the Boardwalk was brought before the Mayor and City Council on Monday evening following the Police Commission’s discussion last week.
“It was brought to the Police Commission’s attention of hoverboards being rented on the Boardwalk. There is a lot of concern over the riders of this new device using them in a reckless manner and possibly imposing a safety issue from a pedestrian’s standpoint. We are going to discuss this further and come back and make some recommendations,” Commission Chair Councilman Doug Cymek said.
What is being referred to as a hoverboard is produced by multiple manufacturers. One of those manufacturers is Monorover, which describes the device as “a Segway without the bulk … features gyroscopic technology, the same as found in Segway. Two sensors (one under each foot pad) detect the micro-movements in your feet and ankles, and relay that information to the motors. Just point your toes down to go forward, and put your weight into your heels to go backwards. The sensors are incredibly active, and within minutes of roving, it begins to feel intuitive.”

Zimbabwe court charges game park owner over illegal hunt of Cecil the lion
The game park owner accused of letting an American tourist illegally hunt and kill a lion on his property in Zimbabwe has been charged in connection with the killing and released on bail in Hwange, his lawyer said.
The killing of Cecil, a 13-year-old, rare, black-maned lion and a popular tourist attraction, caused global consternation and triggered a major backlash against Africa's multi-million dollar hunting industry.
Honest Ndlovu owns the game park into which Cecil was lured from the adjacent Hwange National Park and shot with a bow and arrow by American dentist Walter Palmer.

Iran Threatened ‘Harm’ to Top Nuke Inspector
Iranian leaders prevented a top International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) official from disclosing to U.S. officials the nature of secret side deals with the Islamic Republic by threatening harm to him, according to regional reports.
Yukiya Amano, IAEA director general, purportedly remained silent about the nature of certain side deals during briefings with top U.S. officials because he feared such disclosures would lead to retaliation by Iran, according to the spokesman for Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI).
Amano was in Washington recently to brief members of Congress and others about the recently inked nuclear accord. However, he did not discuss the nature of side deals with Iran that the United States is not permitted to know about.
Iran apparently threatened Amano in a letter meant to ensure he did not reveal specific information about the nature of nuclear inspections going forward, according to Iranian AEOI spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi.
This disclosure has only boosted suspicions among some that the Iranians are willing and able to intimidate the top nuclear watchdog and potentially undermine the verification regime that Obama administration officials have dubbed a key component of the nuclear accord.

Rep.King: Pass Legislation That Ends Birthright Citizenship
(CNSNews) - Birthright citizenship has "constitutional underpinnings," but that doesn't mean Congress can't pass a law to end it, Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) told CNN on Monday.
He was commenting on Donald Trump's recently released policy paper that says babies born to illegal immigrants should not automatically become U.S. citizens just because they were born in the United States.
"With regard to birthright citizenship, for example, it is -- it has constitutional underpinnings, yes," King said. "But the way you start that is as you pass the legislation that puts an end to birthright citizenship. I happen to be the author of that legislation. And then, it will be litigated, there isn't any doubt about it."

Chart Lists Terrorists In U.S. Due To Lax Immigration Policies
The Obama administration’s lax immigration policies have allowed a large number of terrorists with documented ties to ISIS and other radical Islamic groups into the United States, including individuals from Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Somalia and Uzbekistan who have been criminally charged in recent years.
Examples include a naturalized U.S. citizen from Somalia (Hinda Osman Dhirane) charged with conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization, a lawful permanent resident (Akhror Saidakhmetov) from Kazakhstan charged with conspiracy to provide material support to Al Qaeda in Iraq, a Yemeni national named Mufid A. Elfgeeh who also supported a foreign terrorist organization, possessed illegal firearms and attempted to kill U.S. government officers and a Syrian national named Mohamad Saeed Kodaimati who knowingly made false, fraudulently and fictitious statements to the FBI.
That’s just a snippet of a long list of foreigners with terrorist ties who have been granted U.S. entry by the Obama administration. The document was provided this month by a pair of federal lawmakers attempting to pinpoint the tragic consequences of Obama’s negligent immigration policies.
They include individuals who have engaged in or attempted to engage in acts of terrorism; conspired or attempted to conspire to provide material support to a terrorist organization; engaged in criminal conduct inspired by terrorist ideology; or who have been sentenced for any of the foregoing, the senators, Jeff Sessions of Alabama and Ted Cruz of Texas, reveal.
As if it weren’t bad enough that terrorists are entering the U.S. legally thanks to our weak immigration policies, the Obama administration also has a terrorist “hands off” list that permits individuals with extremist ties to enter the country. The disturbing details of this secret list come from internal Department of Homeland Security (DHS) documents exposed last year by a U.S. senator.

You’re Killing Me: Regulations, Government Unions, And Taxes Quash Small Business
Since our founding, the American Dream has been entwined with self-employment — whether as a farmer, a shopkeeper, a doctor, or an inventor — Americans have been at home in our “commercial republic.”
The mounting tide of often opaque federal and state rules is making it tough for small business.
A California study estimated that regulatory compliance costs in the Golden State dinged the average small business for $134,000 per year. This has contributed to what Jon Lieber, chief economist of Thumbtack.com, a firm that links consumers to businesses, said is, “a crisis of entrepreneurship in the United States (with a) broad collapse of self-employment across industries and states…” with “Small business owners … frequently frustrated by unnecessary bureaucratic obstacles.” This has contributed to an ongoing decline in business starts.
Lieber is describing the “soft despotism” that Alexis de Tocqueville wrote of in Democracy in America 180 years ago when he foresaw a nation tied down by “a network of small complicated rules.”

FBI: Yep, We Can Recover Data on Clinton's Server "Someone" Tried to Delete
More bad news for Hillary Clinton and her mom and pop protected server carrying top secret classified information.
We learned yesterday that the technology firm Clinton hired to host her server, again carrying top secret classified information, was stored in a bathroom closet in Colorado. Clinton had previously claimed her use of a private server was fine because it was a) set up for President Bill Clinton b) protected by the Secret Service (it wasn't). Last week we learned Clinton onceasked for a book about how to delete emails and how to make sure they "stay deleted." Over the weekend, Clinton made a terrible "joke" about how she loves SnapChat because "those messages disappear all by themselves."
But it turns out whoever tried to scrub Clinton's server didn't do a very good job. The FBI is confident agents will be able to recover at least some of the data that was "erased." When Clinton was forced to turn over her server last week, which she said in March would never happen, it was blank.

Sensitive emails from Clinton aides kick-started FBI probe, candidate downplays controversy
EXCLUSIVE: An email from a top Clinton adviser containing classified military intelligence information, and one from a top aide containing classified information about the Benghazi terror attack, were the documents that kick-started the FBI investigation into the mishandling of classified information, Fox News has learned.
The emails, among thousands on Hillary Clinton's personal server, were released to the Benghazi select committee in May and have been widely discussed but Fox News for the first time has identified which Clinton aides sent them and the subject matter.
The revelation came as the Democratic presidential candidate and former secretary of state tried to brush aside the burgeoning scandal, joking at a campaign event when asked by Fox News whether she had wiped her private server clean, "What, like with a cloth or something? I don't know how it works at all."
Clinton last week handed the FBI her private server, which she used to send, receive and store emails during her four years as secretary of state.
Fox News has identified two of the Benghazi-related emails on the server that were deemed to contain classified information at the time they were sent.

Distressed American Workers Expose The Fallacy Of Improving Unemployment Numbers
“Over the past five years, our businesses have created more than 11 million new jobs. Our economy is growing and creating jobs at the fastest pace since 1999.”
—President Obama
Sure, the headline jobs numbers suggest that Obama is right and that the job situation is improving: The Labor Department reported that initial claims for unemployment insurance fell to their lowest level in 42 years.
The Institute of Supply Management’s index of non-manufacturing employment (“Would you like some fries with that, sir?”) hit the highest level in 10 years.

As I lay here this morning feeling as if this is a terrible nightmare and that I should be up taking care of my husband right now like every other morning, the reality that he won't be in that room when i walk out is beyond heartbreaking. Words can't express how blessed we have been through this battle. Now we have another battle to face! Please keep my family in your prayers as we go through the next few weeks ahead. Our lives are forever changed and my heart aches without him! He was a fighter to the end and will forever be#Salvasstrong! Thanks to all of you who went on this journey with us!

Donald Trump: Simply unstoppable
Exclusive: Barry Farber declares, 'He may carry all 50 states'
Admit it. Donald Trump is a volcano in a forest of Ronson lighters.
You’re not going to stop him. He may carry all 50 states.
The awareness of Trump’s invincibility is dawning slowly for several reasons. Nobody wants to be revealed as a fool if Trump flames out. Also, such a breathtaking prediction hates to be borne all alone. “Out on a limb” is a lonely place for a pundit to be. Then, too, a lot of heretofore wise observers are obeying the instinct to adopt a “business as usual” stance. We put subconscious pressure on ourselves so that yesterday’s “clown-by-consensus” isn’t too abruptly hailed as the winner this absurdly long before the first vote is cast. The dreamers in the GOP are still reassuring one another that Trump’s domination is a “summertime thing,” and that come fall the public anger will be gone and the people will ask themselves, “Is this the kind of person we want in the Oval Office?” Dream on, Dear Establishment. People are already asking that question, and the answer is not just “Yes”; it’s “Hell, Yes!”
Eight years ago Americans decided to take a chance on a “community organizer” without one single discernable accomplishment, not even authorship of his own book! (Thank you, Jack Cashill!) Obama was editor of the Harvard Law Review – and never wrote a single editorial. And we elected and re-elected him.
