A University of Delaware student reported finding three “nooses” hanging from a tree Tuesday evening in front of a building on campus, one day after Black Lives Matter activists staged a protest.
Acting President Nancy M. Targett got on Twitter and announced that campus police were “investigating” the “hate crime.” She added, “We need to stand together against intolerance.”
She went further on the UD Facebook page, saying: “We are both saddened and disturbed that this deplorable act has taken place on our campus. This hateful display stands in stark contrast to Monday night’s peaceful protest and discussion. We condemn this despicable action and ask everyone in our community to stand together against intolerance and hate.”

So if I'm reading this right, these were not nooses but lantern remnants left behind by the Black Lives Matter rally. How ironic!
ReplyDeleteTypical female liberal who's afraid of the truth.
ReplyDeleteTypical. Spread the word before an investigation. Just like hands up don't shoot. Smh
ReplyDeletePeople in education seem to be over reacting to things lately. Clocks that they think are bombs. Nooeses that are lanterns. I wonder if the NRA still wants them to carry guns to protect our students. HILARIOUS
ReplyDeleteSeems to be the norm in today's society. Label it a racial crime then ask questions later...
ReplyDeleteThose don't even remotely look like like nooses! So either someone is dumber than a bag of hammers or WANTS a race incident soooooo badly....
ReplyDeleteThe "hate crime" was sanctioning the black supremacist hate group to spew their lies and racist propaganda on taxpayer subsidized property.
ReplyDeleteI've yet to see a retraction by UDel. Maybe someone else has?
ReplyDelete...and therein is the "noose" fashioned with her own ideology upon which she and the rest of her liberal ilk will suspend themselves from time to time hoping to get a better view of the America of their own making.
ReplyDeleteMadam President...your first action is the mindless assumption of a left wing university president...your second action was to double down on your first and that is what makes you a dangerous person. Your failure to apologize and retract your statements as "misguided" and "unfortunate" are the racism which we all should reject.
Sans an apology and retraction...madam, you disgust me!!!
next she'll be invited to the White House (they haven't re-named that, yet, have they?
ReplyDeleteIf you ever see her you will know why she is acting president. She was looking for her 15 min of fame and this moron got it. Another theatrical liberal with no subtance other than trying to become popular.
ReplyDelete1:10,
ReplyDeleteYou win the comments!
She is disgusting. Now since she has completely overreacted to something which turned out to be wrong, turned it into a National news story and now she STILL wants people to join her for a 'dialogue on race'.
ReplyDeleteWhat is she going to discuss, how 'whitey' is so evil that even when he didn't do something, he still needs to be held accountable for it?
How about this novel approach...admit the wrongdoing, apologize for the unnecessary divisiveness and scrutiny of the University it has caused, and cancel that gathering to address something that never happened.
You would think educated people would be smarter than to jump to conclusions without all of the facts. Just goes to show that they are just as dumb as other people.
ReplyDeleteI am usually NOT a conspiracy theorist... But, as UDel is such a relatively unknown University outside of this area it wouldn't surprise me if someone within the administration KNEW that they were from the lanterns but thought they could get a national news presence by falsely saying they were a hate crime...
ReplyDeleteWhen will people wake up regarding the media and their fabricated stories??? i.e. "the duke lacrosse rapes", "hands up, don't shoot", "Hillary never sent or received classified e-mails", "The Iran deal is wonderful"... (Just off the top of my head...)
Even had these been nooses, would this be a crime? perhaps some type of conspiracy to harass. It's a stretch. Now let's hear the screams from the left.
ReplyDeleteEven if they were nooses, no one would know the color of the perp. So,if they were Chinese, the riot would go where? Korean? White? Canadian? Hispanic?
ReplyDeleteBut,no, they were placed there by blacks and she wants to raise a flag.
With no apologies for offending anyone.
Typical negro?
Maybe it was about cowboys. More cowboys have been lynched in history than any number of black people.

I bet you most of the people that are not Ravens fans could not tell you where he comes from. He also started at Pitt., then transferred to UD.
