Will Rick Pollitt's Stay In Crisfield Be Short Lived?

With the Town Manager position opening up in Ocean City, one has to wonder if Rick will be applying for the BIG BUCKS in Ocean City. It is well know Rick and his Family own a beachfront home on the ocean. What do you think?

  1. Just like a bad penny, they always show up!
Feeding off of the government trowel.
Wish he would just go away already.
Hasn't he done enough damage to the taxpayers of
    Wicomico County?
Now he is in the process of destroying Crisfield.

  6. I think he can apply all he wants but the OC town officials aren't as simple minded and slow as those in Crisfield.
Basically what I'm saying is the OC officials aren't deficient in judgement and have the ability to scratch below the surface when it comes to decision making.
When the voters didn't reelect that is a clue. A huge red flag. OC officials are a lot smarter than those in Crisfield and know clues and red flags when they see them.

  7. He's over his head in Crisfield. There is not a chance he is qualified for the OC job.

  8. Slick would certainly be a shot in the arm for the restaurants, especially in the off-season!

And while there certainly is a staff to support the Town Manager, each of the recent holders of the job actually had some talent and grasp of the range of details. Can't make that assertion about Ricky; his abilities topped out in Fruitland. Unless he can bring his buddy Wayne along to do his work and tell him what to say.

Since he's apparently learned the route to Crisfield and back, there could be a job in OC he could handle - driving a tram!

  9. Yes, chomping his way from Wicomico, to Somerset, to Worcester. WOW if he does, OC better start now to add more money in their food budget for him. Wait, if there are any smart rational people on their commission they should have better sense then hire him in the first place. If they thought they had problems before, just wait til he gets there-now you will see problems.

  10. Every city and county should shut the door on him if they haven't learned by now what Wicomico County had to endure then their just dumb!

  13. Rick is always out for Rick! Fat, lazy and arrogant, anything to fatten his wallet or stomach will attract Rick. A career politician with no known accomplishments to his credit in his years of public service. Rick much like Obama have fooled enough people over the years to believe his bull crap!

  16. Word out of town hall here is that things are not going to well for Pollitt. One of his duties is to write grants and he does not know how, now they need to either hire a grant writer or contract it out. More cost to the taxpayers here. Mr. culver please hire him.

  19. That's the best blessing Crisfield could receive. His purpose is to RAISE taxes, water, sewer and fines so the City won't go broke AS SOON. They have NO money and he's used to having BIG war chests at his
disposal. Crisfield is trying to play major league ball on empty wallets.
