ReplyDeleteThis is at the Sam's club in Salisbury. This is the cashier I got a few weeks ago and I was surprised they let him work dressed like that.

Sam's Club management is a joke. A white greeter asked a black member to please take the grocery bag she brought into the store to customer service. As she does any color member who comes in with a shopping bag to be checked. The member had a problem. Said the employee was a racist.

So I do not imagine management has a problem with this look.

ReplyDeleteI remember when you went to Ruby Tuesday's in Fruitland and the servers wore dress slacks with their tops. Now they are in ratty looking jeans. People don't make enough money to keep up with standards anymore. I know that doesn't excuse wearing your pains below your butt hole...but it is going on everywhere. People are not paid enough for anyone in management to enforce dress codes or anything else because people just walk away from the job and find the next minimum wage job. You want employees to care...then pay them like you do. Just saying.

ReplyDeleteYou don't get paid more just for showing up. You get paid more by delivering value to your employer.
If you present yourself well, show up on time, do your job well, and expect to have to work for a living, you will be successful.
If in addition to all of the above, you find a way to go to college and get a degree , you will be even more successful.
To say this thug dresses that way because of how much he is paid is absurd. Does he need to be paid more to pull his effing pants up?
It sound like to me, some of you are really trying to get him fired so you can apply for his job. It's summer. People are looking for jobs. They will do anything to get someone else job.

Oh yes, let's not forget the tops with the cleavage busting out. All of this was taboo when I was growing up and should be taboo today.

ReplyDeleteI haven't been back in over 5 years. Had a cart full of frozen food on a hot july day. They had only two registers open. I was in line for over an hour! I filed a complaint with the manager and wrote a letter to the corporation. I haven't been back since. I now shop at BJ's wholesale warehouse. Better quality and no sales tax! Never a long wait in line either.
