Ironic Lawsuit Filed by Former President of Spokane NAACP Emerges — and She’s Been Caught in Major Lie

Rachel Dolezal, who resigned as president of the NAACP’s Spokane, Washington, chapter on Monday, filed a lawsuit against Howard University in 2002 alleging that she was discriminated against because she was white. This week, Dolezal made national headlines when her parents revealed their daughter was actually white and had been misrepresenting herself as black for years.

In the 2002 lawsuit, Dolezal, 37, alleged that her appointment to a teaching assistant position at the historically black university was wrongfully rejected, the Smoking Gun reported. Howard University, she claimed in the lawsuit, was “permeated with discriminatory intimidation, ridicule, and insult.”

Filed in Washington, D.C.’s Superior Court, the lawsuit formally alleged “discrimination based on race, pregnancy, family responsibilities and gender.” The discrimination was “motivated by a discriminatory purpose to favor African-American students,” the suit added.

  1. So she goes on in life to help the very same race that rejected her? WOW! Go help poor uneducated white kids. They deserve just as much assistance as black inner city kids.

  5. Same woman that went to Howard university and tried to scream discrimination because she related to being white then. What made her change go wanting to be black? On and there would have been so much more outrage had this been a man pretending he was black! It's all ridiculous. As long as we allow this to be news, there will never be progress towards race not being a topic.

  8. Actually I think she would have gotten a lot of support until the law suit surfaced. Sued a black college for discrimination. Then pretend to love black people for next 10 years bc your black. NOT SO MUCH.

FYI so you'll know(note know not no). Also not being a jerk. Thanks.

    From online dictionary:

    re·verse dis·crim·i·na·tion
    noun
(in the context of the allocation of resources or employment) the practice or policy of favoring individuals belonging to groups known to have been discriminated against previously.

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Reverse discrimination is discrimination against members of a dominant or majority group in favor of members of a minority or historically disadvantaged group.

    From Merriam Webster dictionary:
the practice of making it more difficult for a certain type of person (such as a white man) to get a job, to go to a school, etc., because other people who were treated unfairly in the past are now being given an advantage

    From FindLaw website:
Because anti-discrimination laws were originally enacted to prevent discrimination against minorities and groups that were historically disadvantaged and denied opportunities in the workplace, there has sometimes existed a perception that members of majority groups are not protected by the same laws. As a result, the term "reverse discrimination" originated to describe these kinds of cases where members of a majority group are claiming they were discriminated against in favor of minorities or historically disadvantaged groups.

  13. This lady needs mental help! She is disturbed and irrational. In her warped mind she actually believe she is african american. ALL the evidence and reality contridicts her story. I would suggest a long stay at a hospital for her to regain her TRUE identity. She is a NUT!

    1. Disagree. She did very well pretending to be a race that gets nothing?

    2. She got it all when she was "black" and now she's white, it's all taken away from her.

This woman has stripped the hypocrisy right out into the open, and blacks can't get their heads around it. No more pretense of wanting "equality", and the end of discrimination. Their blatant racism and discrimination has been run up on a flagpole for all to see.

  14. She's crazy like a fox, as the saying goes. I am sure the NAACP president gets a nice fat salary. Way to stick it to those racists, good job!

  15. You guys are living in the past. In our new Liberal Utopian States of America, reality doesn't matter.

If she identifies as black, she can be black.

Just like if Bruce wants to be Kaitlin, he can be Kaitlin.

Be careful what you say because we also have a right not to be offended by microaggressions and such.

Go Hillary! Because after all: "What difference at this point does it make?"

  18. I don't think she is crazy. Ask yourself. Are you president of a powerful group? Do you teach at a college? Are you on dozen committees? Are you getting a book deal maybe a movie? Are you on talk shows? Are you the most googled name currently in the U.S. Or top ten? She will be talked about for 20 years. Will you be?

  19. She needs therapy to undo some false beliefs in her mind. It is really sad that she is so confused.
