    Part of the problem with this type of police officer - forgets his mandate..."Protect and Serve"; ego trip / cranial rectitis; unions protecting them from accountability!

    You may freely and without penalty disregard the Constitution once you're outside the borders of the United States of America. Until then, doing so within the borders is a crime and shall be met with criminal citations or arrest.

    People, there is no "Protect and serve" required of the police. The supreme court ruled that the police have no requirement to protect you. You are on your own.

    That's the problem. I hear cops say you know just enough of the law to get you into trouble. So do the cops. Or in this case knows and don't care. Police have a basic idea of law and or make it up as they go when not sure. They know just enough to arrest you, ruin your life, cost you thousands just to be exonerated in the end.
