Barbara Mikulski, Longest-Serving Woman In Congress, To Retire
Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.) is announcing her retirement on Monday, according to The Washington Post and CNN.
Mikulski has served in the U.S. Senate since 1987, and before that, was elected to the House of Representatives in 1976. She has been in Congress longer than any other woman, and was the first woman to head the Senate Appropriations Committee.
Mikulski will make an announcement about her plans at 11 a.m. on Monday.
thank goodness. She was wasted so much money it is not funny. Her biggest train wreck on the shore is lower shore broadband. That was a big waste of money and 10 years too late.
This frog should have been long gone, but in MD if you a have a D besides your name, Baltimore and DC suburbs are going to put you in office no matter what the rest of the state wants. Occasionally we have such a major Democratic loser in office like OweMalley and his spawn Brown, even some Democratics can't take it and allow a Republican to get elected.

She didn't go against Israel she went against Netanyahu. There are Jewish Israeli citizens who do not agree with the behavior of Netanyahu. It is all about politics and personal belief no matter what religion or race you are.
Now we can hopefully elect a conservative!
