  1. How did I miss this morphing from the schools to anywhere?
This is just the latest example of our rotten mayor's efforts to tax, fee, fine, and regulate every aspect of our lives.

    Ireton, and Day- YOU SUCK!

  2. If you set one up on riverside drive in shad point it would probably triple the citations from that location!

  4. Joe many of us don't like how you are putting these copies on your site. Not sure if they are PDF's or not, but they are very hard to read. The print is to small and sliding them up and down is difficult. Could you please go back to the old way. Thanks.

  5. It's not about safety it's all about the money. Jim Ireton and Barb Duncan are greedy. These are County Schools and if anyone should be monitoring the safety of the schools in any fashion it should be the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office.

  7. And joe, don't worry about 1:22. If you are even barely computer literate you can figure it out. It certainly is advantageous to the majority of people.

At the top of the file it says "FULL SCREEN" if you click on that you will be able to see the text just fine. Many were having problems with the old version and there was no way to enlarge the font on them. Hope this helps

  9. I am not putting to much credence in 1:22's comment because more than likely he is a speed camera operative.

  10. Yet he doesn't support his parking enforcement officer, until he plans on voided his friends speeding violation, what a POS.

  11. I would like to know why some private schools are given speed control while others aren't.

Would also like to know how many kids/parents have been ticketed for jaywalking across Rt. 50W at Wi Middle or playing chicken with the cars. Jaywalking is a law.

Accident there tonight that appeared to involve a bicycler.....

  12. I say put them evey where. Look at the tax money we could save by laying off half of the MSP. Not to mention the funding that would be pouring in from dumb asses that have no concern for their fellow citizens,

  13. The real danger on the roads in these high pedestrian areas are the pedestrians themselves. When you read the accident reports of pedestrians being struck by a vehicle the majority of the time the pedestrian is not in a designated crosswalk. When they are in a crosswalk they are walking across the road when they don't have the right of way. Ocean City has multiple fatalities every summer and the vast majority of the time it is determined the pedestrian was in the wrong. If the SPD and the Mayor's office wants to collect more revenue they should write citations for illegally crossing the road. It would make far more money and actually create a much safer environment for pedestrians and vehicle operators.

Case in point, Bennett Middle School, Bennett High School and Wi Middle School on Rt. 50. The Board of Education and John Fredericksen are well aware of this problem going on in front of their schools and they refuse to do anything about it. In front of BMS and BHS their are 2 boys that ride wheelies on their bikes up and down College Avenue going the opposite direction in between the two lanes. This has been going on since at least the middle of last year and nothing has been done about it. What about those School Resource Officers that we pay so much for. Why aren't they outside enforcing some of the laws? The least they could be doing is directing traffic in the parking lots and issuing citations when their are violations. And there are numerous violations every single day.
