6.5-ton Armored Vehicle To Roll Through Pennsylvania Woods In Hunt For Suspected Cop Killer

Authorities hunting a survivalist and suspected cop killer in the rugged woods of eastern Pennsylvania have brought in a 6.5-ton armored tactical vehicle dubbed "The Rook" and outfitted with robotic video cameras to assist in a search now entering its 12th day.

The massive search for 31-year-old Eric Frein, who is charged with killing one trooper and wounding another, now includes a 13,000-pound machine that allows officers to gain entry to the second story of a house without a ladder or to deploy snipers to rooftops.

“The Armored Deployment Platform (ADP) allows officers to approach structures with reduced exposure,” according to manufacturer Ring Power Tactical Solutions. “A team can be placed anywhere and have a secure position from which to make better tactical decisions.”

Plus they need to show you use of force and what tricks they have up their sleeve when coming to get you...

This is funny bc this shows you how scared the cops are and how pussy they are... these damn fools are scared of dirt and their shadow which is why they need armored cars...

  7. How many days now has Lt. Col Gum Flapper been saying, "We have him cornered. We will probably capture him tomorrow."

The PA State Police look really incompetent on this one.

  8. wow, now all they have to do is find that 2 story house he's hiding in build a road to it and then they can get on the roof of it and come down through the attic and capture him. YUP sounds simple enough. for simple minds!

I'm with you. If this guy is as cunning as they've made him out to be, he's probably not even in PA or the Northeast, for that matter.

  18. Eric has exited the area, and you guys can play with your new toys all you want, If he was in the woods, where this thing is, he'd beat this attempt in an instant! Ignorance abounds in law enforcement!

Personally, I would not advertise my own idiocy....

  21. Its too bad that they don't expend this kind of effort to catch the murderers of women and kids.
YOUR life isn't worth a damn to the Gestapo. But hurt one of the chosen and they will bankrupt the state to find him.
They will also trample upon each and every right "we, the people" have in order to catch anyone who DARES challenge their a-thor-a-tie.
    Think thats hyperbole?
Look at how they treated the citizens of Boston when they were looking for just TWO men! Warrantless searches. Families ordered at gunpoint to exit their house. Or be killed. The police think (with a wink and a nod from your "leaders") that they can suspend or ignore each and every right GOD has given us anytimne they want. Thats exactly how Jefferson, Adams, and Franklin wanted the government to act.....
    Keep cheering.
