There is one that comes on late at night for St Judes. I have to change it every time. The ones begging for money with the pets are also at the top of the list. Actually there are many that I don't like lol. The ones where the kids do something bad and the parent thinks it's cute are on my list also.
5:21 When cable stations first started that was their big selling point. No commercials.......we see how far that went. Now we have to pay for cable and watch commercials
It is almost impossible to just pick one commercial. We are buried in commercials, some combined are longer than the program or the segment we are watching. Notice also as the program goes on, like 24 for example, the commercials become more frequent and longer because you are hooked! There are too many commercials, too long, too segmented designed to keep our attention, and too intrusive.
The Holly Kia ones are actually funny if you watch them, especially the most recent one. All I can think is what a blast those 2 guys must have making them. But they run them too often. Less is more.
The Sherwood ones are repeats from years ago and listening to that idiot scream is like nails on a chalk board.
One type is the only one I can truly answer and they are ANY COMMERCIAL SELLING PRESCRIPTION MEDS If my doctor listed to every request for them and wrote scripts because of a good production I would have him arrested. I hate ambulance chasers secondly but prescriptions should be for patients by doctors, they took off cigarette commercials didn't they?
Anyone who is a fan of NASCAR will recognize this. I hate the ones that are on when something happens on the track. Like a wreck or caution or leader change. It happens all of the time in every race no matter who is airing it. Something exciting or interesting happens during commercials. Then again, there's so many commercials during a race I just record them now.
Oddly it still remains true that the most disliked commercials are the ones that sell product best because your brain tend to remember them because they ARE annoying. Little known advertising tip.
I always mute the Holly Kio guys...yelling and acting stupid...just sell a car not your vaudeville act. Lately that lady who fell and can't get up...her moaning and crying is pitiful...MUTE button is getting worn out!
I hate Comcast rates, the bundle costs an old customer, like me, too much. Calling gets it down a little but it climbs right back up. There have been numerous problems with Comcast, not their fault. I am delighted with their responses, except getting through the telephone menu, and their Tech Services are outstanding. They are at fault for the hundreds of ads that appear on the home page, emails, etc., ridiculous bombardment of commercials 99% of which I will not purchase or patronize.
The ones with "FLO" in them. UGH
ReplyDeleteObama Commercials...by the way....Flo'c commercials for Progressive Insurance is OWNED and OPERATED BY GEORGE SORROS who has been funding Obama....

ReplyDeleteAll of them let's start a commercial free movement! You can run all the commercials in the 5 mins. before and the 5 mins. after a show that's it!

Holly Kia switch channels when on.
ReplyDeleteAll of the Drug company commercials, if they didn't buy air time on TV, the costs of their product to everyone would be a whole lot more affordable.

I agree. The race now is 3 hours of commercials with a little racing in between if there is time.

ReplyDeleteCurrently, hands down, it's WBOC flogging its dispute with DirecTV.
I just flip the channel.
Advertisers, are you monitoring their reduction in viewership during this woeful campaign?

ReplyDelete"Cialis" for erectile dysfunction! So sick of having to watch this garbage over & over & over. Enough already!
