CDC: Only 1.6% of Americans Identify as Gay or Lesbian
Contrary to popular belief, just 1.6 percent of American adults identify as homosexual, compared to 96.6 percent who say they are heterosexual, according to a large-scale, first-of-its-kind government survey recently released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
In 2011, a Gallup survey found that 52 percent of Americans believed that 25 percent of the population was either gay or lesbian. Only 4 percent of people surveyed at that time thought that the homosexual population was less than 5 percent.
The CDC survey also found that 0.7 percent of adults, less than 1 percent, consider themselves bisexual. Another 1.1 percent identified as “something else,” stated “I don’t know the answer,” or refused to provide an answer.
The estimated population of America is over 300 million.. The median age average is roughly 36 years ago... 34 thousand is a sample survey of adults. . Not a population of adults.. Statistics 101
And our government, elected officials, and judges are bending over backwards (pun intended) to pander to this extreme minority demographic. Our government is trampling on the majority's political and religious rights, by overturning state laws and referendums, and by forcing the majority to comply with government directives that go against their religious beliefs. There is nothing in our constitution or bill of rights that says this GLBT demographic has any special protections or rights.

The 2011 Gallup survey says that 52% of Americans think 25% of the population was either gay or lesbian. This means that 52% of Americans either genuinely think 1 out of 4 people are gay or lesbian or they are innumerate.
I'm sorry if it doesn't fit the progressive narrative but these are the survey results. You need to go back and retake Statistics 101.

However 8:35 AM it does affect us, because more legislation is spent on the gay population today then Americans as a whole without specifying sex, race, age etc. Tolerance I don't think so, try being conservative, christain, male or white.
