  1. No matter what I'm not ever voting for any democrat ever again. God almighty himself could come down and run for office as a democrat and I still wouldn't vote that way. Democrats are just weird in more ways than one. Take this hospice stuff they are so fond of. They have everyone convinced it's a free service. No it's not. It's Medicare and Medicaid funded unless the poor person happens to live beyond 30 days, then they don't get any money. That's is why they starve and dehydrate people to death and tell the families it's the right thing to do. These democrats are a bunch of freaks, take my word on this.

  2. Responding to 1:04 - Me neither. I am amazed that all of these people have been hood-winked into voting for him, especially since our local economy is in shambles. What were they thinking?

    ReplyDelete
  3. I am going to have to sit Pete Richardson's butt down and have a serious 1 on 1 with him about this.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I for one will not be supporting any of these businesses that have made contributions to this liberal

    ReplyDelete
  5. Notice how some of the appointed Boards are stacked with his campaign contributors, (i.e. Michael Weisner (Tax Bd.), Chip Dashield (P&Z). Look at the BOE teachers union donation. Wow, I did not even know about this public info.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I also notice that some of his contributors have gone belly-up. I won't mention any names.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I am going to boycott any and all of these businesses. Talk about buying an election.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I also notice the names of Becker/Morgan. Are these the same people who operate an engineering firm? Humm.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Man, look at the number of Democrats. Talk about a Democratic stronghold, looks as though all of them contributed. It is no wonder our county is in dire straights.

    ReplyDelete
  10. 1:10 -- Pete Richardson can't be blamed -- in 2006 Pollitt was running against Ron Alessi, so what he did makes perfect sense.

I'd be more concerned if Pete donated to Pollitt in the 2010 election when he ran against Joe Ollinger.

That said, if Pete backs Pollitt this time against Bob Culver, he needs to suffer the consequences.

  11. Slime stick to slime - and a lot of everything it touches....

    Be careful, my friends!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Mr. or Ms. 1:20 -- there are folks from other engineering firms on the list: Bozick and Friedel. And what were Palmer Gillis and A. K. Kenney out to get from the Rickster?

    ReplyDelete
  13. I can't open the link and see Rick's contributors? How are you guys doing it?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Stop making excuses 2:17. Even the worst republican is better than any democrat, This has been true for some time now. This is very important for everyone to remember with this upcoming election as well.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Shame on Pete Bozick. He is no longer my friend.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I thought A. Kaye Kenny was a Republican? She is BFF with Stevie Prettyman and Joe Holloway. What's the story on her now?

You should just be able to click on READ MORE>> and scroll down a bit and see the information.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Really in 2006? What is the point? I would be more interested in seeing what is going on now, not 8 years ago.

  19. To 2:35 PM Posting - regarding unable to access link

I did not have any problem. When you click onto the link, a window will come up. In the Peach color window, put in the last name Pollitt. And it will go right to the campaign records. There is a lot more info there.

  20. Who the heck are you guys at Sbynews! You guys are like Supermen. Are you part of a national syndication like the EIB network or FOX? Great reporting!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Joe, thank yu for taking the time to compile this information.

Knowledge is Power - and putting this information at the fingertips of our residents is very important. I hope you keep doing this right up until election day.

  22. Response to 3:14 Posting that said, Who are you guys?

    I'll bet you when Pollitt and Ireton get up in the morning and look at SBYNEWS on their PC they say;

    "Aw Shit, they're up!"

  23. I did not have any trouble in accessing the Maryland Board of elections link. You have to enter; Pollitt in the shaded window.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I also recognize some RINOS are contributors. Hamel and Kenny are two Republicans, and I know P. Richardson is also. What gives with these people.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Does anyone know who Fathom Properties Is in the Court Plaza Lane? They gave $1000.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I noticed that Kremmer is also listed. Is this the same family that owns the Hanna, Kremer, Tilghman Insurance Co. If so - then this is part of the Barrie Tilghman clan.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I also believe Robert Cannon is related to John Cannon. Isn't John Cannon also a republican?

    ReplyDelete
  28. This is really interesting to see who is supporting what. Wow, look at some of the large sums of money that was donated to Pollitt. It is also interesting to see the Board of Education's support for Pollitt. This helps to explain why they always have a bloated budget.

    ReplyDelete
  29. John and Robert Cannon are twins!
Noticed Thomas H. Ruark's daughter Kim also contributed!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Williamsport I LLC on 4438 Union Church Road appears to be Ed and Terry Maguire. They gave 1k to Pollitt.

    ReplyDelete
  31. With Friends like this, I wouldn't work either.

    ReplyDelete
  32. 3:28-MD business license (forfeited in 2011) says a Ronald Rayne is/was affiliated with Fathom Properties along with designated resident agent Frank Willing. A resident agent may not have anything to do with a business other than being, who, if in the event of a lawsuit would be served the papers.

  33. 2:51 you are an idiot!

  34. Pork in the Park has become Pork in the GOB. In years past I didn't have a problem voting either side of the isle, however, with conditions that have seemed to get worse and worse, year by year, I don't see myself voting for any dumbo-crats in this next election. A friend in need, is money in the pocket of these crooks and thieves. After 35 years of being a democrap I have seen the light, and it just gets uglier!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Before you condemn all these people - many individuals and businesses give to both candidates - that is a common practice. It doesn't make them a RINO or whatever. I also think it is unfair to attack private individuals for their donations. A business with an agenda is another story.

    ReplyDelete
  36. REALLY - it has come to this. Pointing out the donations of private individuals. We all have a right to support whoever we want, whether that be one person or every person from every party. The issue is to change hearts and minds through the exposure of incompetent leadership and poor decision making. Who gave them $50, $100 or $1000 really doesn't matter - those people have the right to do that. Get over it and work to change things with what counts not a distraction like this.

    ReplyDelete
  37. It seems as though it pays very well to be in politics.

    ReplyDelete
  38. 2006 is 8 yrs ago - there was an election in 2010. It sounds ridiculous to say, in 2014, that you will NEVER deal with anyone who donated to Pollitt in 2006.

If you all are so against Pollitt winning the election in 2014, you should have been working your butts off in 2010 stopping him from being re-elected.

Printing a list of contributions 8 years later is a joke. It is apparent more people voted For Pollitt than Against in two previous elections. Will you folks now get out and campaign for a better candidate or remain on your butts not dealing with with people who made a donation 8 years ago and continuing to complain about Rick being elected again in 2014.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Why did Doug Trimper from Ocean City give him 2 grand???

    ReplyDelete
  40. Shame is that when you donate to these campaign's you expect something in return.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I heard that Rick layed off the King or was at least considering it.

    ReplyDelete
  42. 4:57 These days informed voters really do need to look at donors and follow the money, is someone getting their backs scratched? Having their building permits on a priority list? Permits going out for some while others have to wait? Yes, sadly with all the corruption in all forms of government, it has came to that. Just sad you don't understand why.

    ReplyDelete
  43. To 5:50 PM Posting that said; Shame is that when you donate to these campaign's you expect something in return.

Answer: Yes it is a shame. Because in the end it is the taxpayers that get hurt the most. The contributors are the only ones who win.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Just because a business or citizen donates does not mean they expect something I return. Many businesses support a candidate because they might have the same views as the candidate.

    ReplyDelete
  45. 5:22 my point also, where is the 2010 list? Where is the current list.
2006 information is no longer relevant to anything going on politically or economically.

  48. 4:57, donors lists are public information so that there is transparency about campaigns. It is important. If a candidate gets a lot of $10 and $20 donations from the little people, it says one thing vs. the same amount from a handful of elites giving the maximum.

  49. It is a sad state of affairs when people will take the time to complain online but will not take the time to vote or contribute to changing the current politicians. So gald we got out of Wico when we did!

  50. Contributing to a campaign is an important 1st Amendment right just like blogging!

Just because a business or citizen donates does not mean they expect something I return. Many businesses support a candidate because they might have the same views as the candidate.

Oh yeah, especially the slum lords.

Yep and that really explains why they donate thousands! Another idiot poster.

  55. I agree with 9:33's Observation. If a candidate receives a high number of smaller donations verses the larger amounts, it is indicative of a 'Grass Roots' candidate verses Special Interest. I say vote for the Grass Roots candidate.

Special Interest has ruined this County.

No, dolt, you are the idiot to think this has any relevance 8 years later.
What matters, is what are people doing/thinking now.

Last I remember you can not change the past, but you can influence the future.

Take your time and go back into the website. All the information you mentioned plus 2013 & 2014 names and numbers are there. If you follow 2006 to 2014 you will get an idea of what is going on in the county. Post your conclusions. People would like to see them.

  58. I did in 2006
    I did not in 2010
    I will not in 2014
I will contribute and give all the support I an to Bob Culver in 2014

  59. Glad to see that Pete 'saw the light' and correctly performed a coarse adjustment. Don't feel bad, I also supported Pollitt in 2006 until I saw how he was running things (or not running things). I'm supporting Culver to. Can't wait to get his new campaign sign out in my front yard.

Click onto the link and you will find all of the information up-to-date including the 2014 campaign info. You just have to enter the name Pollitt in the shaded area and click.

  61. We had a Pollitt yard sign in 2006, but that hasn't -- and won't -- happen again. We will have one for Bob Culver this year, and we won't have one for Matt Holloway.

  62. Joe:

Keep an eye on Michael Pretl. Last time he had a big fund raiser for Pollitt. This year he and Pollitt are supporting Pagano against Joe Holloway. All of them are liberal socalists who believe in tax to the max and unlimited government spending. They are also against property rights for ag owners.

Glad to see he reads this blog, or will from now on.

  64. Williamsport I LLC, Ed & Terry Maguire, Unionchurch Rd. - I believe is TEMCO. I may be wrong but I believe they are the owners of TEMCO. Maybe someone else can elaborate who is reading this post.

  65. The financial contributor Ed Urban, he was the individual appointed to the Wicomico County Personnel Board.
This Article helps to articulate precisely as to how the DOTS are connected. Campaign Contributor contributes to Pollitt, Pollitt gets elected, and then the contributor gets an appointment. Simple!

    30238 Stoneybrooke Dr., Salisbury, MD

Isn't this a conflict of interest? Wayne Strausburg(Republican) made a contribution and bought himself the highest ranking paid job in the County.

Ed Urban as in the non profit Falcons Football

Yes the same Ed Urban that used the Fruitland Falcons (all sports) email database to send out a warm and mushy political email supporting the Democrat appointed Jimmy Sarbanes to a Circuit Judge position. This was an incognito free incognito political advertisement from Ed Urban and Fruitland Falcons.

Yes the same Ed Urban whose son in law John Molnar is the IT Director for Wicomico County. Keep connecting the dots.

You people that keep spending your money at that place to let your kids play in that sports cult are nothing but idiots.

Another Urban donating to the Democrat cause.

  70. Look at this amount. This should really concern everyone. Tell me this man isn't bought by special interest groups. He has more money on hand than any State elected official.

Cash Balance $207,875.92 This is your report

    Carry forward this balance

  71. Who is Sovereign Enterprises LLC, in PA - they gave $2,000.

It is on the 2010 Campaign Report Post Gubernatorial Report. I see old Norman 'Stormin' Conway donated also.

  72. The blind leading the blind in Fruitland now. Most are not residents. Falcon Football took over the park and put up lights and others were turned down to have lights. Pollitt is a 100% full time politician. A 'yes' man to whoever is in front of him and can benefit him in some way.
