Please share this and spread the word. Brooke needs your prayers. In CHOP right now, with a 103 fever and an ANC count of 0. She's getting a blood transfusion now to hopefully help get her counts up. Help her keep her fight!
From Amy's Facebook page today: Brooke had blood transfusion through the night. Platelets are low too so will probably need a platelet transfusion tomorrow. She had a fever of 103 all night and it is now 102.3. White blood count is 0.1 and her ANC is still 0.
I lost my child to a long long battle against an impossible disease this year. I don't understand the reason but that will be my first question of God when I see him.
God never promised life without pain and struggles. Although it is hard for my mind to understand why a child would ever have to go through what Brooke has gone through, my heart knows that indeed God IS in control and it is our faith in him we must fall back on.
Prayers for this sweet little girl. No ONE should go through this pain but especially not children. Life should be all about the swings. PRAYERS PRAYERS PRAYERS
My prayers are with this family. God is good and he is in control . Brooke has the sweetest smile and the pain she has gone thru is unbelievable , however she has god in her heart and he will always have his hand on her . Just know that we are praying for gods will to be done. He answers prayer. God bless you all.

What benevolent and loving God would make a young child suffer as much as Brooke has?
