  1. no matter what you think of temco the local carpenters union does not help the local subcontractors

  2. Unions are whining again because people don't want to pay their inflated wages?

  3. Joe Pishtay has not been employed by Your Docs In for several months. This is not his decision or doing. Leave him out of this. He is a good man!

  4. Sounds like a crybaby that didn't get a job. If all of you buy into this guys crying.....hope you never shop at walmart and always buy American made.

  5. Union dues buys no shoes.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Its hard enough to win bids now to make a small profit, there is no way to pay union scale.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Of course "Your Doc's In" is mining for profits. That's what any normal business would do. Try operating a business at a loss and see how long that lasts/

  8. Treat employees fair and there is no reason to organize and have a union in the 1st place, plain and simple!

  9. What's the big deal? A person is a carpenter and needs work to survive, so he or she works. Did the carpenter's union hire them? No, Temco hired them.

    Wrong!
The unions play on an individuals greed to get in, and forever more the union has its hand in the EMPLOYEEs pocket

You think the union treats people fair? You have to pay them so you can work. Yes most times you make more per hour with a union job but if you are only working 6 months out of the year you really are not making more money. The unions want you to think they are in your favor but in the end they are just making sure they line their own pockets.

  12. Thanks now I know to have Tempco do a cost estimate when I add on to my house. I will save money where I can. Unions are a thing of the past. Go get a job based on your talent not who you know. Let's see if you can survive without the help of a union behind you.
By the same standard: shame on you if you shop any big box store, eat at any national chain.
Stop trying to hurt those who are working for a living. Go kick your dog, beat your wife ( just a figure of speech)and leave non union workers alone.

  13. That sign will be gone in...3...2...1

  14. just make sure that the subs are legit!!!!

  15. If the union carpenters can do it better for the same amount of money, they'll get the job instead of somebody else. If they can bring more value to the job, they can earn even more money than their competitors. Political shenanigans like this are not needed to win the job. Stop whining and start competing with the market!

    ReplyDelete
  16. They can hire who ever they want you fools!!!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Congratulations to the Docs for not bowing to Socialist pressure and to Temco for winning the bid under the FREE MARKET!
Unions have destroyed Salisbury and America for that matter. No wonder they support the free market anti- christ Obama.
Look at all the business they have shuttered!
I see nothing wrong here but Communist pinko's complaining!

  18. Well, I guess this protest didn't work!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Why don't you ask the people working at union shops at Dresser and Crown Cork and Seal-OOPS I forgot, they are no longer in business in Salisbury

    ReplyDelete
  20. Freedom of choice, competitive bids for work to be performed...LOOKS LIKE THEY MADE A COST EFFECTIVE CHOICE FOR THEM! Both 5:08 and 5:16 have hit the proverbial nail on the head.

    ReplyDelete
  21. screw the unions. I always figured that company that treated their employees like crap ended up with unions. But never met a union rep that gave a crap about the workers. All they cared about was collecting dues to pay their salaries which are significantly more then what their members are making!

    ReplyDelete
  22. They even spelled Joe's last name incorrectly!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Makes me want to go to Your Docs in even more... screw the unions... how many stupid blinded union members have lost their jobs just in Salisbury... Crown cork and Seal, Dresser (they were the dumbness union members---Haliburton dismissed them quickly didn't they

I could go on and on... if they were regular employees and earned a wage by doing it better than others.. they would still have a job.

    Can't wait til unions disappear!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Screw them liberal labor unions.. I will hire how I want to.

    ReplyDelete
  25. More organized crime.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Get the heck outta here you whining liberals....if it hadn't been for the outsiders blowing up our realestate market we'd all be in better shape economically on the shore.TEMCO and Doc's In serve the community well and deserve every penny they earn. Show me a union worker and I'll show you an over paid lazy worker that milks us for every cent. Who the hell do you think the cost is past onto fool?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Unions are useless....good for tempco! The union whiners will be there for a while until they give up just like they did in west oc last year. Nobody cares so they just look stupid and make fools of themselves .

    ReplyDelete
  28. Gary
Outsiders are the only people that have any money to spend in the community. Why despise the very people that spend money on having locals with no education cut their grass, paint their house, wash their car/boat, go out to eat and buy the crabs/ produce that you sell on the side of the road?

    ReplyDelete
  29. There was a time and place for unions long ago when companies treated their employees terribly ( Henry ford) now the unions have little power and stoop to picketing places that pass them over. Trying to convince the public thru lies they are right. Unions are a joke.....and no longer have a place in most industries.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Anyone would be crazy to pay more than they have to for the same services. Everyone should always look for the best price. I buy nothing until I ask the price. I always hire or buy the cheapest that I can.

    ReplyDelete
  31. A lot of places throw out the highest and lowest bidder to assure the job comes home on time and everybody ends up happy. Greed can make for a miserable job. The O.C. bathroom job comes to mind.

Throwing out the high bid tosses the union aside, and tossing out the low blesses the one who made a terrible omission in his bid.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Your Doc's in gets my business. Any business that works to save costs does.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Met 2 guys that worked for Temco and they seemed happy with their wages and the way they were treated. Glad to see they got the job and keeping locals employed.

  34. Everybody's friend JIM loves the UNIONS - and they loved him to the tune of $100,000 last election!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Three of Wicomico county's largest employers, Campbell Soup, Dresser, Crown Cork & Seal, all union, all gone.

    ReplyDelete
  36. that made me laugh a little! :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. If you want union wages work on a Federally funded project. It is a competitive marketplace and contractors have the right to solicit quotes and award the work to the one who can deliver on time within budget and quality work. The cheapest doesn't always get the job quality is value added incentive to pay a little extra.
Temco is doing what everyone in construction has had to do for five years... surviving! And I know from for a fact they treat their employees well.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Still free enterprise hire who you want. Dam liberals.

    ReplyDelete
  39. And where do all those union dues go. Supporting people like Obama and O'Malley that's where.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Obama takes our taxes and bails out the Unions who in turn donate to him it's a money laundering scheme.

    ReplyDelete
  41. My late ex-husband worked for Temco for many, many years. Some while we were married and some after and up until he passed away in 2010. Temco is the best company he worked for during his whole career in the construction business. They treated him and the other employees fairly. They were compassionate when he became ill and made every effort to keep him gainfully employed when he was no longer capable of working out in the field. I am thankful to them.

  42. Go ahead.Shoot the messenger like always.

  43. Hey Your Docs In charges 6 bucks for asprin. 4 bucks for a band-aid. So i could really give a turd about who they hire. I want to know why Americans can not afford health care. No Union there. I will say if INS hits Temco they find many missing Mexicans lol Seriously a ton of non english speaking workers. They must have been raised in Willards lol
