The single most important — and telling — contest of the 2014 election will happen not next November but rather on May 20 when Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell squares off against wealthy businessman Matt Bevin in Kentucky’s Republican primary, according to non-partisan political handicapper Stu Rothenberg.
“I think McConnell needs to be concerned,” said Rothenberg in an interview with Post TV’s “In Play”. He added that the race “really will say a lot about the direction of the Republican party.”
Stu explains more in the “In Play” clip below — and make sure to read his column on the race too.

Should Eastern Shore Politicians Follow Suit?
New FBI Director James Comey says he'll direct all new agents to visit the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial to remind them that the Bureau should not abuse its power. He says there are "dangers of becoming untethered to oversight and accountability." Comey addressed more than 3,000 FBI employees and guests in a ceremony at the agency courtyard. President Barack Obama and Former Attorney General John Ashcroft attended. Comey gained national recognition as a Justice Department attorney under Ashcroft. He rushed to Ashcroft's hospital bed to urge him to sign off on a surveillance program they viewed as illegal. Comey took over last month for Robert Mueller.
Those Who Haven't Served To Be Recognized As Veterans
Members of the National Guard and Reserve who are serving at least 20 years but have not yet been called up for active duty may soon be granted full veteran status. The bill proposed by Rep. Tim Walz (D-Minn.) passed the House unanimously. The Congressional Budget Office says the bill is cost neutral and military retirees who would fall under the bills jurisdiction would receive no extra benefits besides being legally recognized as veterans for their two or more decades of service to our country. The bill now heads to the Senate.
DMV To Offer Free Transponder For New E-ZPass Accounts
Make Holiday Travel Easier & Save $15 with Promotion
Dover -- Holiday travel can be a hassle with overcrowded shopping, unpredictable weather conditions, and heavy traffic at every turn. The Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is announcing a promotion to make one part of your holiday activities easier. Starting November 1, 2013, all customers opening a new individual E-ZPass account will receive a free transponder for their vehicle, which normally would cost $15.
The free E-ZPass transponder promotion is open to residents of any state, and will end December 31, 2013. The goal of the free transponder offer for new account holders is to increase the E-ZPass utilization rates at Delaware toll sites on Route 1 and Interstate 95. Commercial accounts and "On-the-Go" sales are not eligible for the free transponder.
DMV Director Jennifer Cohan explained, "E-ZPass is an effective year-round tool that can be used to make Delaware and regional travel easier and more convenient with the ability to use highway speed toll lanes. By offering a free transponder for each new account opened, we are providing users with the opportunity to take advantage of a great resource, while also ensuring that we keep our toll facilities running efficiently."
Delaware has issued over 350,000 E-ZPass transponders since the introduction of the electronic tolling system in 1999. Delaware's three main toll plazas currently operate at a 67% usage rate for E-ZPass customers. Nearly 21,000 new transponder units have been purchased in 2013 by Delaware customers, averaging over 2,300 sales per month. E-ZPass is a modern toll collection technology that makes traveling more convenient, helps drivers save money through multi-use discounts, and helps reduce traffic congestion for everyone. There are currently 25 tolling agencies in 15 states that offer E-ZPass services.
There are many easy and convenient ways for you to open a new account and receive a free E-ZPass transponder:
* Visit the Delaware E-ZPass Customer Service Center in person at 26 Old Rudnick Lane in Dover.
* Call the Delaware E-ZPass Customer Service Center at 1-888-397-2773
* Go to www.ezpassde.com and click on "Get E-ZPass"

DelDOT Receives $5.25 Million In Indian River Inlet Bridge Settlement
Dover -- The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) today announced that it has resolved its litigation involving the original, and now removed, roadway embankments for the Indian River Inlet Bridge which was begun under a prior administration. The lawsuit was scheduled for a 12 week trial beginning in May, 2014.
The resolution, which arose out of voluntary mediation among the parties, requires the payment of $5.25 million to the State. These funds must be applied to transportation projects for which federal funds may be used.
Both MACTEC and Figg deny responsibility. While DelDOT, MACTEC and Figg all had highly regarded experts prepared to testify in support of their claims and defenses, the uncertainties of litigation led to the compromise reached to resolve the litigation.
"This settlement allows DelDOT to receive more than $5 million for Delaware's taxpayers now, while avoiding the burdens and uncertainty of a lengthy trial involving complex geotechnical engineering issues next spring," said Secretary Shailen Bhatt. "This was a challenging case with strengths and weaknesses on all sides. I believe the settlement provides a reasonable resolution to this matter, and I look forward to applying the proceeds to help meet Delaware's transportation needs."

'EXTORTION': HOLDER ABUSES LAW TO ENRICH FORMER EMPLOYER, TARGET REPUBLICANS
We are going to punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us. –President Barack Obama, October 2010
The Obama Justice Department has increased Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) enforcement actions over 65% compared to the prior administration, a dramatic shift that stands to benefit Attorney General Eric Holder’s former law firm Covington & Burling—the firm that helped write the law and describes itself as “a leading voice” on FCPA enforcement and compliance. Several FCPA investigations by the Obama Justice Department have included companies headed by top Republican donors including Koch Industries, Las Vegas Sands, Inc., Walmart, News Corporation, and Hewlett-Packard.
Government Accountability Institute (GAI) President and Breitbart News Senior Editor-At-Large Peter Schweizer makes the stunning charges and lays out the evidence in his new book, Extortion: How Politicians Extract Your Money, Buy Votes, and Line Their Own Pockets. Schweizer appeared last week on 60 Minutes and Hannity after the New York Times published two articles on the book’s investigative findings.

20 Drills That Prove The DHS’ Official New Enemy Is The American People
Out of 47 “scenarios” being practiced by first responders during Urban Shield 2013 this October 25 – 28 in the San Francisco Bay Area, at least 20 of them are “domestic” – either stated explicitly, or implied (see below in BOLD CAPS) – and possibly more.
Overall, the scenarios vary widely in scope – up to and including “odor investigation” – but the “domestic terrorists” are generally characterized as being anything from “anarchists” (Tea Partiers? Christians? Patriots?) to “homegrown” terrorists (recent American-Moslem converts duped into FBI-sting operations?)
Interesting to note that, as of this writing, the English “Urban Shield” Wikipedia entry has disappeared… but you can still get it in French. (Too bad for you if you don’t read French.)
However, there is still a brief mention of Urban Shield in the English Wikipedia entry for the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office (ASCO).

Democrat-On-Democrat "Smearing" In Maryland
Our friend Jeff Quinton – who runs a great Maryland-based blog entitled The Quinton Report – has an interesting post up about the national scandal surrounding the Old Line State’s Attorney General, Doug Gansler.
For those of you who slept through last week, Gansler’s gubernatorial candidacy suffered a major setback when he bumbled, stumbled and fumbled his way through a press conference attempting to explain his appearance at a teenage boozefest in nearby Delaware back in June.
Why was Gansler on the defensive? Because like so many politicians of both parties who go in search of problems where none exist (and cheap publicity), he staked out ground as an aggressive opponent of underage drinking.
Anyway, Gansler’s implosion in response to the scandal (which you can read more about here) sucked all the oxygen out of the real story – the Democratic political machine that has unsheathed the long knives and aimed for his jugular.
We’re referring of course to allies of Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, who is aggressively pushing the gubernatorial candidacy of his No. 2 – Maryland Lt. Gov. Anthony G. Brown.

Obama Knew Most Americans Would Not Be Able To Keep Their Existing Insurance Under Obamacare As Early As 2010
The news keeps going from worse to worse-er for the administration and Obamacare. The latest hit, however, does not revolve around the dysfunctional healthcare.gov website, whose hundreds of millions of lines of faulty code will take a very long time to fix, but relates to Obama's promises that individuals would be able to keep their existing healthcare plans following the rollout of the Affordable Care Act. The truth, as NBC reports, is they can't but what's worse is that Obama knew as early as July 2010 that 40 to 67 percent of customers will not be able to keep their policy. And that's not all: since the 14 millions consumers who buy their insurance individually will be forced into comparable plans, they are all set to experience a "sticker shock" when "opting" for the mandatory alternatives.
From NBC:
President Obama repeatedly assured Americans that after the Affordable Care Act became law, people who liked their health insurance would be able to keep it. But millions of Americans are getting or are about to get cancellation letters for their health insurance under Obamacare, say experts, and the Obama administration has known that for at least three years.
Four sources deeply involved in the Affordable Care Act tell NBC News that 50 to 75 percent of the 14 million consumers who buy their insurance individually can expect to receive a “cancellation” letter or the equivalent over the next year because their existing policies don’t meet the standards mandated by the new health care law. One expert predicts that number could reach as high as 80 percent. And all say that many of those forced to buy pricier new policies will experience “sticker shock.”
The reason for the sticker shock: mandatory cadillac plan replacements:
Individual insurance plans with low premiums often lack basic benefits, such as prescription drug coverage, or carry high deductibles and out-of-pocket costs. The Affordable Care Act requires all companies to offer more benefits, such as mental health care, and also bars companies from denying coverage for preexisting conditions.
Obama, it turns out, knew all about this:

Even The Author Of The Patriot Act Is Trying To Stop The NSA
It’s been about four months since Edward Snowden’s leaks on the NSA’s blanket surveillance programs outraged privacy and Internet activists the world over, spawning real-life protests, online petitions, and high quality parody videos. Some countries got so mad, they even talked of leaving the US-run Internet. Now, the policy may actually change. Republican Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner will introduce an anti-NSA bill tomorrow in the House, and if it makes its winding way to becoming law, it will be a big step towards curtailing the NSA’s bulk metadata collection.
Wisconsin Rep. Sensenbrenner, along with 60 co-sponsors, aims to amend one section of the Patriot Act, Section 215, in a bill known as the United and Strengthening America by Fulfilling Rights and Ending Eavesdropping, Dragnet Collection, and Online Monitoring Act—also known by its less-clunky acronym version, the USA Freedom Act.
Section 215 has been used by the Bush and Obama administrations as justification for broad spying activities. Rep. Sensenbrenner—who actually authored the Patriot Act—likened these blanketed spying activities to abuse. “The NSA has gone far beyond the intent of the Patriot Act, particularly in the accumulation and storage of metadata,” said Sensenbrenner in an interview with National Journal about the bill earlier this month. “Had Congress known that the Patriot Act had been used to collect metadata, the bill would have never been passed” as a response to the September 11th attacks

Obama’s Military Purge
Is the Obama administration in the midst of a military purge? This year alone, nine senior commanding generals have been fired by the administration, and retired generals and current commanders who have spoken to TheBlaze believe that political ideology is the primary impetus behind the effort. “I think they’re using the opportunity of the shrinkage of the military to get rid of people that don’t agree with them or not toe the party line,” a senior retired general told website. ”Remember, as Rahm Emanuel said, never waste a crisis.” The general spoke on the condition of anonymity because he still provides the government with services and believes this administration would retaliate against him.
The terminations have a distinctly political odor surrounding them in at least three cases. In all three of these cases, Benghazi is at root. U.S. Army Gen. Carter Ham was heading the United States African Command when our consulate came under attack on September 11, 2012. Ham told Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) he was never given a “stand down” order preventing him from securing the consulate. Yet the Washington Times, citing sources in the military, said he was given the order and immediately relieved of command when he decided to defy it. The Times further noted that Ham “retired” less that two years after receiving the command when all other commanders of similar stature have stayed on far longer. Sources told TheBlaze Ham was highly critical of the Obama administration’s decision not to send reinforcements to Benghazi.

The Republican Embrace Of The Welfare State
The establishment GOP has accepted progressivism’s central premise.
Charles Krauthammer has come to my rescue. You see, I’ve been on the receiving end of some spirited reaction since asserting in last weekend’s column that what we commonly call the Republican establishment — i.e., not all individual Republicans but GOP leadership — “is more sympathetic to Obama’s case for the welfare state than to the Tea Party’s case for limited government and individual liberty.” The statement may have been provocative in the sense of expressing a truth that people on the political Right prefer not to talk about. But it was not controversial because it is indisputably true.
This week, Dr. Krauthammer, Washington’s most influential expositor of mainstream GOP thought, obligingly spared me the need to prove my point. He gave as clear an account of the modern Republican conception of “conservatism” as you will find. Fittingly, he did it on the program of progressive commentator and comedian Jon Stewart. Today’s smartest Republicans, self-aware enough to know their core views deviate significantly from those of conservatives in the tradition of Buckley, Goldwater, and Reagan, are more likely to say what they think to Jon Stewart. His audience is apt to be receptive, maybe even won over, by a mature progressivism portrayed as what conservatives really think. It is not likely to go over as well with, say, readers of National Review.

Black Mob Violence And Denial
Ask a cop. Any cop: Racial violence is worse than you know. Worse than I know even after writing the book on it, White Girl Bleed a Lot: The Return of Racial Violence to America and How the Media Ignore it.
That is why so many cops — active and retired — send me so many stories from around the country. They want more people to know about the epic levels of racial violence happening in almost every part of the country almost every night.
Here are a few from this weekend, courtesy of my cops.
Let’s start with a New Jersey bowling alley. For those who have not picked up a ball for a while, a visit to your local alley in the daytime is like stepping back in time. Same lanes. Same beat up shoes. Same scruffed up balls.
But weekend nights, many bowling alleys — and roller skating rinks too — shed their white, lower middle class trappings and are transformed into gleaming centers of hip-hop, with the latest and greatest in lights, sounds, fashion, booze and drugs.
All topped off with frequent large-scale, black mob violence.
The latest example came late Friday night in the Central New Jersey town of Piscataway. The Associated Press reports the violence:

Bush And The JFK Hit, Part 6: The Cold War Comes To Dallas
What possible connection could there have been between George H.W. Bush and the assassination of John F. Kennedy? Or between the C.I.A. and the assassination? Or between Bush and the C.I.A.? For some people, apparently, making such connections was as dangerous as letting one live wire touch another. Here, in anticipation of the 50th anniversary of the JFK assassination in November, is the sixth part of a ten-part series of excerpts from WhoWhatWhy editor Russ Baker’s bestseller, Family of Secrets: The Bush Dynasty, America’s Invisible Government and the Hidden History of the Last Fifty Years. The story is a real-life thriller.
Note: Although these excerpts do not contain footnotes, the book itself is heavily footnoted and exhaustively sourced. (The excerpts in Part 6 come from Chapter 5 of the book, and the titles and subtitles have been changed for this publication.)

A Cauldron of Right Wing Americans, Right Wing Russians, and Nazis
In the ensuing years, George de Mohrenschildt bounced frenetically around every corner of the burgeoning energy landscape. In 1950, together with Poppy Bush’s old friend and former roommate Eddie Hooker, he launched a modest oil investment firm, Hooker and de Mohrenschildt, with “offices in New York, Denver, and Abilene.” At this time West Texas was the center of a new boom. Poppy Bush was working there in his role as a trainee for Neil Mallon’s Dresser Industries. Meanwhile, a vastly more ambitious enterprise was afoot in Dallas, where Mallon relocated Dresser Industries in 1950. At that time, Dallas was still a relatively modest-size city, but growing rapidly. Once primarily a banking center for wealthy cotton farmers, it had become a center of petroleum finance and home to the new breed of superrich independent oilmen. With help from House speaker Sam Rayburn and Senate Majority leader Lyndon Johnson, Dallas had attracted a number of defense contractors, which made it a growing hub of the nation’s military-industrial complex.
By the early fifties, Dallas contained a small and close-knit community of Russian émigrés, perhaps thirty in all. They were drawn together by business interests, an anti-Communist worldview, and participation in a new church they had founded, though many were not religious. Almost every week they attended social gatherings at one another’s homes. George de Mohrenschildt developed ties with the most important of them.
The man who would be considered the “godfather” of the émigré community was Paul Raigorodsky, a former czarist Russian cavalry officer who had fought against the Red Army. After the Bolshevik victory, Raigorodsky came to the United States with the help of the Red Cross and the YMCA. Like many of the other émigrés, he married into American society at a high level: his new father-in-law had set up the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank. Before long, he was on the oil and military track, with important assignments in war and peace, including some from powerful figures in the Bush-Dresser orbit. Some accounts have him serving in the OSS, the forerunner of the CIA. He also became an acknowledged friend of FBI director J. Edgar Hoover. Raigorodsky was a director of the Tolstoy Foundation, a U.S. government-funded organization that assisted Russian exiles.
The second most influential man in the Russian émigré community was George Bouhe, an oil accountant. In the 1920s, while a high school student in Petrograd, Bouhe had worked for the American Relief Administration (ARA), a spy-cover charity that provided food aid to the Russian population via branch offices set up by American executives in various Russian cities. Bouhe’s supervisors, impressed with his work, urged him to come to the United States. He crossed a river into Finland in the middle of the night and traveled to New York, where he went to work for the Rockefellers’ Chase Bank. Then he moved to Dallas, where he became the bookkeeper for Lewis W. MacNaughton, a partner in the highly influential petroleum geology consulting firm DeGolyer and MacNaughton and a board member of Dresser Industries.

Big Brother Is Coming To Your Car
This is a topic that has been on my radar screen for a while, but one that very few Americans seem to be paying attention to despite the egregious revelations concerning NSA spying that have emerged recently. I first flagged this issue in late 2012 in an article titled: Coming to Your Car: Mandatory Black Boxes That Record Everything.
The latest push for tracking devices in cars is being sold as necessary in order to raise funds to pay for the nation’s decayed highway infrastructure. For example:
As America’s road planners struggle to find the cash to mend a crumbling highway system, many are beginning to see a solution in a little black box that fits neatly by the dashboard of your car.
This is simply idiotic. There is already a tax per gallon on gasoline, so people are already being taxed based on how much they drive. Only a control-freak, moronic government bureaucrat would come to the conclusion that the solution to this problem is to install Orwellian tracking devices in people’s cars.

OREGON SCHOOL BOARD: TEACHERS WITH CONCEALED LICENSES CAN CARRY IN CLASSROOMS
The St. Helens School Board in Oregon lifted a ban that had prevented teachers with concealed carry permits from carrying their guns on campus.
School board chairman Marshall Porter said, "The current law in Oregon allows for anyone to concealed carry on school grounds. To exclude our staff seems like they're being punished. They should have a right to protect themselves if they choose."
According to ABC News, the decision impacts seven schools within the St. Helens School District. This includes "two elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, and three alternative schools."

I wanted to let you know that earlier today I received my "Obamacare enrollment packet” from the White House.
It contained:
· An aspirin and a band-aid.
· An 'Obama Hope & Change' bumper sticker

· A 'Blame Republicans first, then anybody and everybody' poster
· A 'Tax the Rich' banner
· An application for unemployment and a free cellphone
· An application for food stamps
· A prayer rug
· A letter assigning my debt to my grandchildren
· And lastly, a coupon for a machine that blows smoke up my ass.
Everything was made in "China" and all directions were in Spanish.
Keep an eye out. Yours should be arriving soon.

Is Obama Still President?
His cadences soar on, through scandal after fiasco after disaster.
We are currently learning whether the United States really needs a president. Barack Obama has become a mere figurehead, who gives speeches few listen to any more, issues threats that scare fewer, and makes promises that almost no one believes he will keep. Yet America continues on, despite the fact that the foreign and domestic policies of Barack Obama are unraveling, in a manner unusual even for star-crossed presidential second terms.
Abroad, American policy in the Middle East is leaderless and in shambles after the Arab Spring — we’ve had the Syrian fiasco and bloodbath, leading from behind in Libya all the way to Benghazi, and the non-coup, non-junta in Egypt. This administration has managed to unite existential Shiite and Sunni enemies in a shared dislike of the United States. While Iran follows the Putin script from Syria, Israel seems ready to preempt its nuclear program, and Obama still mumbles empty “game changers” and “red line” threats of years past.

Uh, Mayor Ireton, This Quote Was From 1974!
"The Salisbury Zoological Park, recognized as one of the best small zoos in America".
Featured on the City Home Page, Mayor Ireton continues to use a quote made public in 1974. Leave it to a Liberal to mislead you, (and others) to believe the Zoo is all that. It may have been back in 1974 but it certainly isn't now, (with all due respect).
One might think with a $3,000,000.00 annual budget it would be, but it's not.
Here's an idea Jimmy. Just get one of your friends like Chuck Cook to make another new quote. Something a bit more current and you can run with that. Until then, the above quote is almost 40 YEARS OLD.

National Recognition For The Delaware State Police Mobile Crime Tip Line Application
The iOS and Android Mobile App Honored as a Finalist at the 2013 NASCIO Awards
DOVER – The National Association of State CIOs (NASCIO) has selected Delaware’s State Police (DSP) Mobile Crime Tip Line Application as a finalist in the Fast Track Solutions category at the 25th annual NASCIO Recognition Awards for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Information Technology in State Government.
“The Delaware State Police continue to utilize technology as a force multiplier to combat and solve crime,” said Sergeant Paul G. Shavack, Director of Public Information for the Delaware State Police. “By the use of smart phone technology, we want to make it as easy and convenient as possible to provide anonymous tips on crimes and criminal activity. When the public becomes involved and provides crime tips, it helps keep their communities safe.”
The DSP free Crime Tip Line application was launched in March of 2013 and already has over 830 downloads on both iPhones and Android phones. The application provides a mobile solution for accepting crime tips, allowing users to report information such as location, activity description, subject description, vehicle description, and even photographs to the police. Tips can be submitted anonymously. All crime tips are passed directly to the DSP via email. The mobile app complements the other reporting crime-reporting channels and meets the citizen expectation of “mobile access anytime, anywhere.” This is particularly relevant in the context of public safety. The application is available for download on either iOS or Android at http://apps.delaware.gov.
NASCIO represents state chief information officers and seeks to recognize technology achievements in state government in order to highlight, promote, and share innovation as well as to engage citizens. Details about the 2013 Awards are posted at http://www.nascio.org/awards/2013awards/. Recognition from the nation’s CIOs highlights Governor Markell’s initiative to promote and develop eGovernment services in the state of Delaware.
The DSP Crime Tip application was developed by Delaware Interactive, LLC in partnership with the Government Information Center (GIC).

Government ‘Mining’ Social Media For Information On Health Behavior
The National Library of Medicine (NLM) is “mining” Facebook and Twitter to improve its social media footprint and to assess how Tweets can be used as “change-agents” for health behaviors.
The NLM, a division of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), will have software installed on government computers that will store data from social media as part of a $30,000 project announced last week.
“The National Library of Medicine is the world’s largest biomedical library and makes its stored information available online at no charge to consumers, health professionals, and biomedical scientists through a diverse suite of resources,” the agency said in a contract posted on Oct. 23. “Evaluating how its databases and other resources are utilized is an important component of continuing quality improvement and has long been an on-going program of NLM management through a potpourri of monitoring tools.”
“The world-wide explosion in the use of social media provides a unique opportunity for sampling sentiment and use patterns of NLM’s ‘customers’ and for comparing NLM to other sources of health-related information,” the agency said.

SEAL Team 6 & Extortion 17 Families Suspect Crash Was Inside Job
Back in August, I told you that Extortion 17, the downing of a Chinook helicopter with members of SEAL team 6 onboard (those that allegedly carried out the raid on Osama bin Laden), could be Barack Obama's biggest scandal and one of his administration's biggest acts of treason. That report came after an interview I conducted with Billy Vaughn, father of slain Navy SEAL Aaron Vaughn, who told Freedom Outpost that he wanted answers and those who were responsible for his son's death to be held accountable. Now, many of the families believe that the incident, which has been deemed the largest loss of life in the Afghan war theater (38 deaths, including nearly two dozen Navy SEALs), was an inside job.

Inept And Stunningly Naïve
Since Obamacare made its debut, discussions have focused on Ted Cruz’ efforts to defund the law and the shockingly bad functionality of the Website itself. Fortunately for Obama, polling indicates that Senator Cruz has lost, at least for now, the battle for hearts and minds. The President has not been nearly so lucky on the technological front. If current trends continue, the rollout may go down as the worst major product launch in history. But given the government’s enormous resources, it’s safe to say that the site itself will ultimately be fixed. But when it is finally up and running, the plan’s many deeper, and more intractable, flaws will come into focus. That’s when the fun will really begin.
Put simply the program is built on a mountain of false assumptions and is covered by a terrain of unanticipated incentives. Any cleared-eyed observer should conclude that it is perfectly designed to raise the costs of care and wreck the federal budget. However, like just about every other complicated problem that bedevils the nation, the public has become far too caught up in the politics and has ignored the horrific details.

NBC NEWS’ BOMBSHELL OBAMACARE REPORT DISAPPEARS DUE TO ‘PUBLISHING GLITCH’ – AND THERE WAS SOMETHING MISSING FROM REPUBLISHED VERSION
NBC News is claiming that a “publishing glitch” caused its bombshell investigative report on Obamacare to disappear for a period of time. The news outlet has since republished the scathing article, however, a key paragraph was temporarily removed — and no editor’s note explaining why was included.
The article in question revealed that the Obama administration knew at least three years ago that millions of Americans would not be able to keep their health insurance under Obamacare. But that didn’t stop President Barack Obama and other administration officials from promising the opposite, the report suggests.
At some point Tuesday night, the link to the story started directing readers to a “Error 404″ page:

Obamacare And The Death Of Liberalism
Bob Tyrrell was right.
The founder of The American Spectator penned — in 2011, two years ago — The Death of Liberalism.
In which Tyrrell investigated “the decline and impending death of the American Liberal movement in the United States today.” And said of President Obama that he was a “Stealth Fascist” who was “the pallbearer for American Liberalism.”
Notably, the last chapter of the book was titled: President Barack Obama, Liberalism’s Pallbearer. With considerable prescience, Mr. Tyrrell begins the chapter thusly:
Chairman Mao made the following statement on April 30, 1971, to Edgar Snow in an interview that he hoped would reach the ears of American policymakers. In it he said:
“China should learn from the way America developed, by decentralizing and spreading responsibility and wealth among the 50 states. A central government could not do everything. China must depend upon regional and local initiative. It would not do (spreading his hands) to leave everything up to him (Mao).”
Forty years later, China was on the brink of becoming the world’s largest economy, and President Barack Obama had not a clue about learning “from the way America developed” or about depending on its “regional and local initiatives.” He was lost in the sublime quiddities of his incomparable colleagues from the Ruling Class. That would be the yokels back at academe, drunk on their higher knowledge of “how-to” studies: how to teach (education departments), how to think and analyze (psychology and sociology departments), how to administer and govern (variations of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard State University) — all the trendy “studies” offered by the modern-day multiversity or whatever they call it. Obama does not have very many classically educated university graduates to call on. In fact, he does not have many educated people to call on.

STUNNER! WHITE HOUSE ADMITS OBAMACARE KILLS POLICIES
NBC documents administration knew 3 years ago
Is it possible that things really still can get worse for supporters of Obamacare, the president’s signature accomplishment, the law that was voted through by only Democrats during a lame-duck session of Congress?
Decide for yourself.
On Monday, White House spokesman Jay Carney admitted the law is killing off health insurance policies that Americans currently hold, and NBC reported that the administration knew that was what would happen as long as three years ago.
At least two different investigations are being launched by Congress, a commentary showed that even the paper signup process for Obamacare doesn’t work, and Alaska simply gave up – canceling signups because virtually no one was participating.
Carney’s comments camed in response to a question from journalist Ed Henry.

Sandy Victims See Almost None Of Promised $60 Billion In Aid A Year After Storm
By the end of August, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development reported that just $5.2 billion of the federal $60 billion aid package had actually been spent. Another $6 billion had been set aside by federal agencies but hadn’t yet reached the intended recipients.
A year after Hurricane Sandy, only a fraction of the $60 billion in aid passed by Congress has reached people who need help — and lawmakers from both parties say it’s time to pick up the pace. The feds announced $1.34 billion in new grants to New York City on Monday, part of $5 billion being doled out in the latest allocation to Sandy-affected areas.
HealthCare.gov Supposedly Getting Fixed By Thanksgiving
Q. I have an account on HealthCare.gov but can't get through to actually complete an application. I get repeated account "confirmation" e-mails instead. It's like that movie "Groundhog Day." My insurance company is canceling my policy on Jan. 1 so I really need to get something else. Help!
A. Good news first. Jeffrey Zients, the administration official who's leading the "tech surge" to fix the glitch-ridden portal to Health Insurance Marketplaces in 36 states, promised today that "by the end of November HealthCare.gov will operate smoothly for the vast majority of users."
The tech experts who've looked over the system have, to no one's surprise, found dozens of problems not only with the site's ability to handle the crush of users, but also with software that prevents its many moving parts from working together like they should, Zeints said. "We're going to punch out fixes one by one," he said in a call with reporters. "Each week the site will get better."

Rep Andy Harris Introduces “Clean Campaign Contributions Act”
Bill bans the use of personal funds by any political committee including leadership PACs
Washington, D. C. - As reported in a recent edition of “60 Minutes,” the current ban on personal use political committee funds does not include leadership PACs. Rep. Andy Harris, M.D., has introduced H.R. 3356, “Clean Campaign Contributions Act,” to close that loophole. The bill will extend the current ban on the personal use of funds by candidate reelection campaigns by clarifying that the ban also applies to leadership PACs, a campaign committee of a political party, and every kind of campaign committee.
“Public opinion of Congress is already low enough. We should close this loophole so no appearance of impropriety exists.” said Rep. Harris. “By banning the personal use of political committee funds, we can help improve the public trust in Congress.”
The Federal Election Commission has recommended extending the personal use ban to all political committees. According to the FEC, while it is illegal to use candidate committee contributions for personal use (to fulfill any commitment, obligation, or expense that would exist irrespective of the candidate’s election campaign or duties as a holder of Federal office) “no corresponding provision covers individuals who convert contributions received by party committees, separate segregated funds, leadership PACs, and other political committees to their own personal use, including through theft or embezzlement.”
The FEC has “seen a substantial number of instances where individuals with access to the funds received by political committees have used such funds to make unauthorized disbursements to pay for their own personal expenses.”
This bill simply treats all campaign committees equally regarding the personal use of funds.

School Test Teaches Kids: “Commands Of Government Officials Must Be Obeyed By All”
Papers produced by global education corporation; Part of ‘No Child Left Behind’ program
A parent of a ten year old was shocked to discover a grammar and writing test paper that their child brought home from school reads more like document from an authoritarian country such as China.
The parent sent a portion of the test paper to Infowars, revealing that it contains sentences such as “The commands of government officials must be obeyed by all.”
The paper uses such sentences and asks school children to replace certain words in order to make the sentence contain a possessive noun.
Others within the paper include:
“The job of a president is not easy.”
“He makes sure the laws of the country are fair”
“The wants of an individual are less important than the needs of a nation”

McDonald’s Drops Heinz After Ketchup Company Hires Ex-Burger King Executive
The sign is officially hanging outside the McDonald’s treehouse club headquarters: “No Burger Kings Allowed.” There will be no more Heinz ketchup at the Golden Arches, after a former Burger King executive signed on to run H.J. Heinz Co.
Now that former Burger King Worldwide CEO Bernardo Hees made the move to run Heinz, McDonald’s wants nothing to do with the company’s condiment. Hees is also the vice chairman of the board of BK, after all, reports the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
“As a result of recent management changes at Heinz, we have decided to transition our business to other suppliers over time,” McDonald’s said in a statement, ostensibly while crossing Heinz off its list of best friends.
Not that Burger King is crying over it.
