CHRISTIE UNOFFICIALLY LAUNCHES 2016 CAMPAIGN BY RIPPING PAUL, JINDAL
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, the next incarnation of a GOP frontrunning presidential candidate who is anything but hard-line on principle, told activists and GOP operatives at a Republican National Committee luncheon on Thursday that his “job was to win.” Christie pontificated:
We are not a debating society. We are a political operation that needs to win. My job is to win. I believe my job is to win. Our job is not to be college professors.
Christie has already criticized Rand Paul, saying Paul’s libertarinan positions were dangerous. At Thursday’s luncheon, he took a swipe at Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, who recently said, ”We’ve got to stop being the stupid party. It’s time for a new Republican Party that talks like adults.” Christie responded: More
Republican puritanism is like crack to a drug addict. Going to have to hit bottom before they get better. Keep nominating people who ONLY appeal to Republicans it will be a loser again. Christie has the wide appeal that actually could win the White House. His in your face attitude is freshing and honest.
Let's ask citizens of New Jersey what Christie has done for them. Answer to that is NOTHING. Besides his nose is stuck to Obama's arse, one would think he is rat running for Democ-rats.
Look you morons on this blog, he is our last chance. Pull your heads out of your anis and realize he can win against any dem they choose to run. I get so sick of you calling him a rino. He has done a lot for nj and I would take him any day over the current govenor of Maryland. You people are a bunch of back woods, in bread reprobates. I would take Mickey Mouse if he could win over Hilary. Screw off
BIG buffoon liberal repubican-in-name-only. 12:05 you are the problem with the Repubican party. People like you got Romney put in as the "moderate" candidate. That worked out real well. Enough people are fed up with our current excuse of a president they want someone who is the OPPOSITE, not "Obama-lite".
I'll vote for Rand Paul over Christie, he doesn't even have the will power to get his fat butt up from the eatin' table. Slobbering all over Obama after hurricane Sandy. I'm sure they shared a side of pig ribs.
513 has a point! The GOP is a bunch of idiots trying to go with whatever political correct way, whatever that is, to "win".
Nobody out there but the Independents have any balls. Rand realizes that the "sheeple" will herd towards R/D in the election, as they ALWAYS do, and will use the ticket to make his run. Please people, either him or Independent, but NOT a Dem!
He should think about running on the democrat ticket. He 's done as far as conservatives go.
ReplyDeleteRand Paul is not the equivalent of his father, but I would still vote for Rand before I'd vote for Christie.
ReplyDeleteRand is my pick over this obese buffoon
ReplyDeleteComplete 180 went from a man that stood of what was right to Obama's lap dog, just like Mc'cane
ReplyDeletejust say NO to Christie.
ReplyDeleteHe cozys up to Obama too much for me to even consider him.
ReplyDeleteLook at his record.....he is at least a passive gun-control supporter....
ReplyDeleteRINO

12:05 you sound like those anti Reagan idiots of the past. Christie is a Progressive along the lines of McCain and Graham...

ReplyDeleteNo Way! This guy should stay in NJ with the rest of the Sopranos.

ReplyDeleteIn 2016, I'll take Ted Cruz, with a side of fries.
ReplyDeleteThanks
Why does it even matter? Whoever the Republicans nominate in 2016 is just a sacrificial lamb in the Hillary landslide.

And, don't forget he's outlawed the .50cal in NJ..., he'd do it to the rest of us, too.
ReplyDeletecannot stand this lardass. if he runs, we don't stand a chance.
ReplyDeleteRegardless who is president, shortfalls will appear somewhere. The choice of who we elect will determine where those shortfalls will appear.
ReplyDeleteBreaking news --- it doesn't matter WHO you vote for. 17 trillion is 17 trillion. Know what I'm sayin'????
