UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- A Connecticut man already serving life sentences for a series of rapes and sex crimes has been indicted in Maryland.
Prince George's County prosecutors announced Tuesday that Aaron Thomas has been indicted on six counts of first-degree rape and related charges.
Thomas, whom authorities have dubbed the "East Coast Rapist," was sentenced in Virginia this month to multiple life terms. He's been linked to attacks in Virginia, Maryland, Connecticut and Rhode Island.

So more taxpayers money being spent. Indict a person already sentenced to life in prison?
ReplyDeleteMy comment is for the pervert that was sentenced yesterday for rape of a twelve year old girl. why would a judge sentence him to 20 years and then suspend all but 6 yrs. people get more jail time than that for robbery or possesion of pot. this makes me sick these are our children that we are supposed to protect. did we not learn anything when leggs killed SARAH. this piece of s--t should be locked up for life PERIOD!!!!! I have a fourteen year old daughter and if this ever happened to her i would probably have to serve my whole life sentence for killing the dirt bag
ReplyDeletewell if some liberal loonie were to let him out for any reason(not much needed nowadays)he'd be released to a jail where he could be held & then stand trial.
ReplyDelete11:27 I'm with you. I'm still disgusted that Leggs case had enough to convict, they had the body & they PLEA BARGAINED! Outrageous! What's he gonna suffer while we take care of him for the rest of his life.
