MSNBC PANEL ACTUALLY DEBATES IF DOJ SHOULD PROSECUTE ANTI-ISLAM PASTOR TERRY JONES FOR LIBYA DEATHS

In the wake of the tragedy in Libya, where U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed by a frenzied mob over an anti-Islam movie, an MSNBC panel took the time Wednesday to discuss who should be held accountable.
One of their suggestions?  Anti-Islam Pastor Terry Jones, who has burned the Koran in the past and promoted the film   that allegedly sparked the most recent wave of violence.
Panelist Mike Barnicle explained:

Marine Unit Dispatched To Libya After Deadly Attacks

A team of about 50 Marines has been dispatched to Libya and two Navy guided missile destroyers are being deployed off the cost, after attacks Tuesday on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi left four Americans dead, including the U.S. ambassador, military officials told Fox News.
Officials said a Marine "fast team" is being sent from the U.S. Naval base in Rota, Spain. They are expected to go to Tripoli. According to a U.S. official, there are no U.S. personnel left at the consulate in Benghazi which was attacked.
A U.S. military aircraft is also expected to leave Libya soon with the dead and wounded onboard.

LIBYAN DEMOCRATIC SUCCESS STORY

Yesterday it was the US embassy in Egypt which fell victim to rioting as angry protestors stormed the building and replaced the US flag with a black one. Today, the violence shifts to Libya where the US ambassador and three staffers was just killed after an attack over a US-produced filmed deemed insulting to Muslims. Perhaps it is time for the US to replace one “pro-democracy” regime with another. From Reuters: “The U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other embassy staff were killed in a rocket attack on their car, a Libyan official said, as they were rushed from a consular building stormed by militants denouncing a U.S.-made film insulting the Prophet Mohammad.” Number of US ambasadors to Libya killed under Gadaffi’s regime? Zero.

‘2016: OBAMA‘S AMERICA’ FILMMAKER RESPONDS TO PRESIDENT’S ATTACKS

In an exclusive interview with TheBlaze on Tuesday, Dinesh D’Souza, creator of “2016: Obama’s America,“ said President Barack Obama and his campaign are now attacking him because they are ”scared” of his documentary and what it reveals.
It’s true that with the 2012 presidential election just around the corner, Obama and his campaign can‘t be happy to see that D’Souza’s anti-Obama documentary is now the second biggest political documentary of all time, surpassing popular liberal productions like Michael Moore’s “Bowling for Columbine” and Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth.”

CLAIM: OBAMA HID 'GAY LIFE' TO BECOME PRESIDENT

Chicago’s homosexual community claims Barack Obama’s participation in the “gay” bar and bathhouse scene was so well known that many who were aware of his lifestyle were shocked when he ran for president and finally won the White House.
“It was preposterous to the people I knew then to think Obama was going to keep his gay life secret,” said Kevin DuJan, who was a gossip columnist in Chicago for various blogs when Obama was living in the city as a community organizer and later a state senator.
“Nobody who knew Obama in the gay bar scene thought he could possibly be president,” said DuJan.

SALISBURY MAN SENTENCED TO 30 YEARS FOR DRUG CRIMES

On September 12, 2012, Tyrone Hunter, age 46, of Salisbury, Maryland, pleaded guilty to the top count of the State’s indictment: possession with intent to distribute a narcotic drug. The defendant, who was on parole at the time of the offense, was sentenced to an active period of incarceration of 30 years in the Division of Corrections to be served consecutive to his parole violation. This is the defendant’s fourth felony drug conviction dating back to 1990.

“With this conviction, along with the conviction of Michael Dixon who received twelve years for a drug distribution crime on Monday, we hope to send the message that Wicomico County is a community that takes a stand against drug dealers. Most of our crime and street violence can be traced back to the illegal sale and use of narcotics, so our office vigorously prosecutes individuals who are involved in the local drug trade, especially four-time, repeat offenders like Tyrone Hunter” said Wicomico County State’s Attorney Matthew Maciarello.

BRAND-NEW SURGE IN BLACK-MOB VIOLENCE

The weeks before and after Labor Day are a busy time for black mob violence and lawlessness – some of which made the news.
Most of which did not.
Let’s start in Chicago. On August 26, Chicago police arrested 24 black people in the upscale, downtown Gold Coast area for a “ruckus” that featured “running in and out of crowds bumping into people and pushing folks.”
This incident was brought to the attention of WND.com by a member of the Chicago police department.

'A' Is for Agitation: Radical Chicago Teachers on Parade

Chicago Teachers Union President Karen Lewis walks, talks and barks like a rootsy Occupy Wall Street activist. But this Big Labor loudmouth who's leading the abandonment of nearly 400,000 schoolchildren in the Windy City is just another power-grabbing union fat cat.

Instead of academic excellence, she rails about "social justice." Instead of accountability, she fumes about "profits" and curses merit pay. Lewis has marched with the Occu-clowns denouncing capitalism and promoting "socialism (as) the alternative." She raves: "Occupy Wall Street and the whole concept of the 99 percent is an extraordinarily important movement."

And she earned praise as a "fist-in-the-air, crowd-rousing, dynamic union leader" by former Communist Party revolutionary turned Obama-funded "school reformer" Michael Klonsky.

PALIN TO OBAMA: TIME TO GROW A BIG STICK

Tonight, 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin fired a shot across the bow of the Obama administration over its spineless response to radical Muslim takeovers of the US embassies in Egypt and Libya. She certainly didn’t hold back  :

Apparently President Obama can’t see Egypt and Libya from his house. On the anniversary of the worst terrorist attacks ever perpetrated on America, our embassy in Cairo and our consulate in Benghazi were attacked by violent Islamic mobs. In Cairo, they scaled the walls of our embassy, destroyed our flag, and replaced it with a black Islamic banner. In Benghazi, the armed gunmen set fire to our consulate and killed an American staff member. The Islamic radicals claim that these attacks are in protest to some film criticizing Islam. In response to this, the U.S. Embassy in Cairo issued a statement that was so outrageous many of us thought it must be a satire. The Embassy actually apologized to the violent mob attacking us, and it even went so far as to chastise those who use free speech to “hurt the religious feelings of Muslims.” (Funny, the current administration has no problem hurting the “religious feelings” of Catholics.)

Teenager Fighting Bone Cancer Falls Victim To Hoax

A Washington teenager fighting bone cancer was the victim of a hoax by a woman who allegedly wanted to get closer to the star of the TV show ‘The Deadliest Catch,’ q13fox.com reported.
The woman, who stepped up and offered to pay Thomas Doty’s treatments has mysteriously vanished after stringing the teen and his family along for weeks. Meanwhile, the family turned down offers from other people, not wanting to take money they didn’t need.
Doty, 19, from Maple Valley, Wash., was diagnosed with a form of bone cancer called osteosarcosis three years ago.  His family went bankrupt paying for his treatments – including several tumor removal surgeries, radiation and chemotherapy, according to the TV station.  None of the treatments were successful, prompting doctors to recommend the family seek out alternative options, which can cost up to $250,000.

IT‘S THE ’AMERICAN WAY’: YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE WHAT SOME DEMOCRATS TOLD US ABOUT SOCIALISM

The word “socialism” is thrown around a lot these days.  Perhaps for good reason.  But the party of bigger government has certainly tried to avoid all references.  Their delegates however, are free to talk.  So we asked them one simple, open ended question while at the Democratic National Convention last week: What do you think about socialism?
Their answers varied, but one theme can be seen throughout the diverse interviews: more government is good.  They also mentioned Canada a lot.

COP BLOWS AWAY DOG 'FOR NO GOOD REASON'

Residents in the small town of St. Louis, Mich., are in an uproar after a local police officer shot a dog on its own property on Sunday afternoon.
The 8-year-old golden retriever named Scout was owned by Brian and Hillary Goetzinger, who were inside their home when the incident took place.
“I heard a pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, and I was like, ‘What is going on?’” Brian Goetzinger told WNEM-TV  . “So I stood up and looked out this window right here out of my house, and I see the St. Louis Police Department   standing over my dog, and that’s all bloody, laying right here.”

Massive Government Cover-Up In Virginia?

On September 6, 2012, Revolution PAC, which I chair, submitted Freedom-of-Information-Act (FOIA) requests to eight state and local agencies and offices of the Commonwealth of Virginia demanding release of all information and communications relating to the Brandon J. Raub case. Mr. Raub, a former, decorated Marine who served with distinction in Iraq and Afghanistan, was kidnapped on August 16 by a joint strike force of Virginia and Federal “law-enforcement” agents, after which they tried to “disappear” him into the Virginia psychiatric gulag without charging him with any wrongdoing.

What did Raub do to deserve this abuse and torment by the government? He posted comments on Facebook that were critical of the government, and it was a private Facebook page, to boot. It was only by the courageous efforts of his mother, a dedicated lawyer for liberty (John Whitehead of the Rutherford Institute), and widespread protest about this abuse of government power by average people across the nation that Raub was saved from being stashed away and subjected to psychotropic drugs and brainwashing by government shrinks.

According to Whitehead, something is rotten in the Commonwealth of Virginia that goes way beyond just the Raub case:

“Every year in Virginia, more than 20,000 people are detained for civil commitment and whisked away just like Raub. Brandon Raub’s case exposed the seedy underbelly of a governmental system that seems to be targeting Americans – especially military veterans – for expressing their discontent over America’s rapid transition to a police state.”

In Unusual Snub, Obama To Avoid Meeting Netanyahu

In a highly unusual rebuff to a close ally as tensions escalated over how to deal with Iran's nuclear program, the White House said on Tuesday President Barack Obama would not meet Benjamin Netanyahu during the Israeli prime minister's U.S. visit later this month.

The apparent snub, coupled with Netanyahu's sharpened demands for a tougher U.S. line against Iran, threatened to plunge U.S.-Israeli relations into crisis and add pressure on Obama in the final stretch of a tight presidential election campaign.

Salisbury News Sets The Bar On Lost And Found Animals

Over the many years I've been running Salisbury News, many people have asked me THE question, what has been your biggest accomplishment with Salisbury News. The first answer that comes out of my mouth is lost and found animals.

It never ceases to amaze me just how many animals and their owners we have helped reunite and Salisbury News is the "go to" place whenever someone happens to come across a lost animal.

We encourage you to contact us right away. We encourage you to please, (even right now) take a picture of your pet on your cell phone and save it. Mistakes happen and animals do get away from us. More importantly, we encourage you to go by the Humane Society or your Veterinarian and get your pet micro chipped. It's the best investment you'll ever make for your best friend.

Now, this article may look like I'm taking credit for reuniting the hundreds of animals we've posted but let's get real for just a moment. The ONLY reason these animals get reunited are because of people like YOU. Hundreds of people have pulled over in their cars and encouraged animals to get in. They take them home, take a picture of the animal and then send it in to Salisbury News.

Because of the huge traffic that come and go each day on this Site, ANYONE looking for their animal can usually come on here with a sigh of relief because they saw their pet in an article.

YOU make that happen and WE can't thank you enough for caring so much. Unfortunately over the years we've experienced just a few animals that were hit and killed by cars. However, imagine how large that number would be if YOU didn't take these animals in!

So, that being said, we want to thank all of you for helping out and saving the lives of literally hundreds of animals over the years. It still remains the coolest thing we do here on Salisbury News.

WHITE HOUSE REPUDIATES U.S. EMBASSY APOLOGY TO RIOTING MUSLIMS IN CAIRO

The White House is repudiating a statement from the U.S. embassy in Cairo that apologized for individuals who “hurt the religious feelings of Muslims.” The apology came after rioting Islamists in Egypt on Tuesday took down the American flag at the embassy and tore it apart after trying to burn it because they were upset about an anti-Muslim film being produced in America.
“The statement by Embassy Cairo was not cleared by Washington and does not reflect the views of the United States government,” a senior Obama administration official told Politico  .
The U.S. embassy in Cairo put out the following statement early Tuesday:

Navy SEALS Respond against Obama After 'Media Matters' Calls Them 'Gutless'

This video made by the U.S. Navy Seals may cost Obama his second term in office. Senior CIA, FBI, Military and many other U.S. Government intelligence officials describe for the viewer how Obama has compromised U.S. National secrets and the very serious consequence of those actions. And what's worse, he did it all for political gain so he could win a second disastrous term in office.

Update On Alex Guerrero

Hello Everyone,
Here is some news I wanted to fill you all in on.

Local boxer Alexis Guerrero is back action Saturday night at Wild Bills Casino in Duluth GA. Guerrero will face hard hitting jouneyman Harvey Jolly of Adrian, Michigan. Jolly, who stands 6’4” bring 31 bouts of experience to the ring with a record of 12-18-1, while Gurrero’s record stands at 7-0-1.

“This guy can not be taken lightly, no fighter should be, but Jolly has spoiled undefeated guys before. He’s big and has power so you have to stay focused every second. Sometimes a less that spectacular record can be a relfection of getting matched to deep at the wrong time. I have also seen where guys were just not mentally focused to step up and train hard or were injured and needed money. You look only at a record and you can get fooled. I look at this guy a the real theat that he is and take nothing for granted.” Said Guerrero’s manager/trainer Hal Chernoff.

Guerrero’s last fight was in Harrington back in June when he stopped a game Chris Thomas of Chicago in two rounds.

“I just want to get back in the ring again. There are things I want to acomplish in boxing and I have to be fighting to do it. This is a fight that can lead to better things and more fights. I work full time nights and have to take off to fight. When I train, I get off at 6 and run to the gym, then we get a morning workout in and I go home. Sometimes I am able to get some sleep and other times I have to get my daughter to school, I always get a few hours each day, but not like 8 or 9. If she gets an award or something, I am going to be at her school, so I know I don’t always get the rest I need. Hal is always concerned about how rested I am, as he is how good my workouts are, because it’s connected. Maybe someday I will be able to train and rest like other fighters, but that day is not here now, I have to earn it first. There are so many things in my life that are good that I won’t complain about anything". Said Guerrero.

Guerrero says one of his goals is to bring a fight back to Salisbury. “It seemed like everyone liked it when we fought here and now I would like to help be the one to bring a fight back home. Nothing for a fighter is like fighting in your hometown. I know a lot goes into it, but if I do my job, I know my coach will do all he can to make that happen, but right now I have a job to do in Georgia."

Smoking Bans On College Campuses To Be White House Initiative

The University of California system announced in January that by 2014 all of its campuses would ban use or sale of cigarettes and chewing tobacco, USA Today reported

Lawmakers Call For Libya, Egypt Aid To Be Stripped Over Attacks On US Posts

Several conservative lawmakers on Capitol Hill are pushing to strip or suspend aid to Libya and Egypt following the deadly attacks Tuesday on U.S. diplomatic offices.
The U.S. ambassador to Libya, J. Christopher Stevens, was killed along with three other Americans in the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Attackers also stormed the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, breaching the walls and tearing down a U.S. flag, supposedly in protest over a film that ridiculed Islam's Prophet Muhammad.
House lawmakers are poised to vote as early as Thursday on a stopgap budget bill that would include $20 million for Libya. But several lawmakers were pushing back in the wake of the attacks.

IRS Pays Whistleblower $104 Million

First, the government threw Bradley Birkenfeld in prison for helping a former client at UBS AG hide his wealth from the Internal Revenue Service. Now, as part of the same case, the IRS has awarded the former banker $104 million _ yes, million _ for helping expose the widespread tax evasion scheme by the Swiss banking behemoth.

The dizzyingly abrupt turnabout in Birkenfeld's life leaves him with the largest government whistleblower award ever to an individual, said Stephen M. Kohn, one of Birkenfeld's attorneys and executive director of the National Whistleblowers Center. The center is a nonpartisan group that defends employees' disclosures of wrongdoing and waste.

Foreclosure Fail: Study Pins Blame On Big Banks

A study by government and academic researchers finds that approximately 800,000 homeowners missed out on mortgage modifications because of big banks' poor performance.

Over the past several years, we've reported extensively on the big banks' foreclosure failings [1]. As a result of banks' disorganization and understaffing — particularly at the peak of the crisis in 2009 and 2010 — homeowners were often forced to run a gauntlet of confusion, delays, and errors when seeking a mortgage modification.

But while evidence of these problems was pervasive, it was always hard to quantify the damage. Just how many more people could have qualified under the administration's mortgage modification program if the banks had done a better job? In other words, how many people have been pushed toward foreclosure unnecessarily?

Teacher Credited With Disarming Student With Loaded Gun

Baltimore County Police have charged a 13-year-old as a juvenile after police say he brought a loaded .25-caliber semiautomatic handgun to Stemmers Run Middle School Tuesday.
Chief Jim Johnson says the 8th grader got on the bus with the loaded gun, sat through his 1st period class and then at the end of the class pulled out the loaded gun. Johnson says the student threatened the teacher by pointing the gun at her, his classmates and then himself.
The teacher tackled the student and knocked the gun out if his hands according to authorities. Johnson says the gun had a bullet in the chamber and five in the magazine. He says the student also brought a hunting knife to school with him.
