Here's another story of tyrannical government intrusion and stupidity. The department of weights and measures invaded the market on Camden Avenue Tuesday. Everybody's scale was checked for accuracy. If your scale didn't pass their test (or did not have a serial number), you were told to put it away and GUESS. What possible purpose did this serve other than to harass people trying to make a living and justify the jobs of government employees who otherwise had nothing more important to do?
