They need to change the rules concerning those on public assistance who happen to win any lottery:
ReplyDeleteFIRST: Any amounts received from public assistance from the PAST 3 YEARS should be deducted from any lottery winnings.
SECOND: Anyone who accepts lottery winnings must forfeit eligibility for any public assistance for at least the NEXT 3 YEARS or more, depending on the amounts of the payouts. Large payouts should include a waiver of eligibility for any assistance for life.
THIRD: Violations of these terms would forfeit any remaining annuity lottery payouts.
