The Daily Times Continues To Break The Law?
Oh how the connected get favors! Take a wild guess who owns the building The Daily Times is moving into in the next few months? How about a company called TEMCO. Sound familiar?
Now why in the world would The Daily Times go into that building MONTHS before it is completed and operate portions of their Newspaper inside this building when they have no use and occupancy permit, (or whatever it's called)?
What if I were to tell you that it allegedly has something to do with Bill Holland? It turns out, (so I'm told) one of the principals in TEMCO is none other than Bill Holland's Cousin. HMMMMMMMM!
So even though I exposed this going on last week, the Daily Times continues to operate out of this building, even though they do NOT have permits to do so. I guess we'll just have to pass this information onto the State level.
The Chess Game continues. CHECK!
POCOMOKE CHRISTMAS PARADE DELAYED UNTIL WEDNESDAY

Exclusive News From Salisbury News
The 2008 4th of July almost slipped past us again, believe it or not.
The Salisbury Jaycees will assist whoever takes takes on the 4th of July event but
they will not lead the event in 2008.
Considering 4th of July falls on a Friday on 2008, Fireworks Companies are already booked for this coming 4th of July.
I was contacted by the company that has held this event for the Jaycees in the past, (Bay Fireworks) letting me know that we had only days to commit before they would have to schedule 4th of July elsewhere. The owner, Mike Ash, respected my personal wishes by keeping me informed as to every one's intent this coming year and before the event was lost, we have agreed to keep it scheduled for 2008.
Now don't go giving me any credit for this because I am just the middle man. The CREDIT for the 2008 4th of July Fireworks will go to County Executive Rick Pollitt. I called Rick as son as I received the message from Mike Ash and Rick said, "We're never going to lose the 4th of July again." That being said, Rick and Mike will work out the details and everyone can rest easy knowing the celebration has been saved.
Where the event will be held is still up in the air. There are 4 options on the table at the moment and I'm sure the one that makes the most sense traffic wise will be the place to hold the event.
So Thank You In Advance, Mr. Pollitt.

Graffiti Plagues Salisbury 1 Year Ago Today
A year ago today the City of Salisbury was bombarded throughout Downtown with Graffiti. Day after day, week after week, buildings were tagged and to this date there are no leads and obviously no one has been arrested.
The SPD assigned Officers to the Downtown area and it completely stopped. There has been some tagging here and there but nothing like what happened a year ago. Remember Folks, if you're Downtown, look up and keep an eye on the buildings to help the SPD continue to keep this in the has been state.

Congressional Candidate Andy Harris Speaks Out On 2nd Amendment Rights
Friends,
With hunting season now in full swing, I am reminded of time my father spent with me growing up. I remember the day my father bought me my first rifle. It was a Winchester .22 Long Rifle. As I was growing up, my father taught me how to use that firearm. I give him full credit for me achieving pistol expert status in the US Navy.
My philosophy on the right of each and every American to "keep and bear arms" is a direct result of my father's teaching. I believe every American has a fundamental right to own a firearm. I also believe the current government regulations are too strict, especially in Maryland.
I am the only candidate in this race with a Pro-Gun record. That is why the Gun Owners of America have endorsed my candidacy, and the reason that I have received "A" ratings from the NRA.
As your congressman, I will oppose gun control legislation. I will fight to decrease the current government infringement on the 2nd Amendment.
In contrast, my opponent, Wayne Gilchrest, does not support 2nd Amendment rights. He supported the most restrictive gun control legislation to pass in the last 20 years, the "Brady Bill." Newspapers even claimed he was a "major player" in assisting with the passage of that bill. I would have opposed the "Brady Bill."
Recently the Supreme Court agreed to decide if DC's gun ban is constitutional. I firmly believe it is not; however the Supreme Court could rule that the gun ban is legal. If the Supreme Court rules that way, it will be critical to have congressmen who will fight to defend the 2nd Amendment. I promise to protect our 2nd Amendment rights.
I hope each of the hunters who read this enjoy the venison for the holidays.
Thanks,
Andy
