  1. They should round down and they should donate the reduction to the charity out of their pocket.

  3. The COVID free environment just wear a paper mask, touch it as much as possible and use the same mask for a week or longer. Only in sams club because the building is sterilized Also none of the products are from China.

  4. Why can't they round *down* if the cents portion is less than 50?

  5. This is now fake news. The Bank were we have our accounts said they could not order change for some reason several weeks ago. They were limited. This is now over and the bank can order whatever they want. There is no longer a shortage. How can all this crap be happening all at one time and one not be a conspiracy theorists? If Trump loses, God help us all. I know one day soon, socialism will win. And America will be done. One world Government is coming. People will beg for it. A government that can feed you, can starve you. Trump 20/20.

  6. OMG, what are they going to think of next. IF, I want to donate to something or somebody, I will do it, I never have liked others doing it for me.

  7. How come only Sam's and Walmart seem to have this problem. The other stores I deal with seem to have plenty of change.

  8. How about rounding down as customer appreciation.

  9. how about rounding down?

  10. Wrong on so many levels.

Yet not unexpected from the Walmart Corp.

  11. Funny. Its only the national stores where this is a problem.
Every other local place has change.

This is horse $hit. Just another way to inconvenience people trying to live their lives.

  12. Been trying to use a card since the China virus. Always did at Sam’s anyway. When I use cash I tell them don’t worry about it, it’s old money. Been in my pocket before China attacked us. So change is not a issue with me, making sure the purchase is not a product of China is though. Go Trump!

  13. The Waltons can afford to round down.

  14. I'm sure someone will find some reason to complain. Always found it ironic when one of the richest companies in America asks me to donate to help feed children when I already donate a higher percentage of my wages to charity then they do. Guess just like the tax breaks it's up to us, not the rich, to refill the coffers.

  15. WTH, I have been to quite a few stores in this down and they don't have a problem giving change. Thieves, bull crap.

  16. Still better than Walmart donating the extra to BLM!

  17. This is the beginning of the no cash movement.
All monetary transactions must be Government approved.

  18. There is a shortage but it has become much less of an issue in the last month. The smaller banks have plenty of coin to handle local customers the big banks are only allocating one box at a time each day

  19. its all about control. cashless society. walmart big business, and big tech are all in on it with the democrats, thats why you can go to walmart all day long, but dont you dare think of going to church, a funeral, a wedding, etc

  20. The United States mints over 40 billion coins every year (up until 2020, I guess). The average life span of a coin minted in the US is about 30 years in circulation. It is literally impossible for there to be a coin shortage. It is a ludicrous assumption that there is an actual shortage of coins. Just another control grab by our lovely and totally trustworthy government. No coins, no cash transactions and they can track every single penny you spend...maybe this is the ramp up for a VAT on all monetary transactions, who knows.

  21. No only wrong but illegal. They can round down. They can afford it.

    1. You have such a small brain, you don't get it. It isn't about following the rules, one day there won't be a choice. Don't you see what is happening? I knew bad things were coming, but I had zero clue people would be so dumb to not see what is happening. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Look at how many people Hitler killed in seven years. Just listen to Soro's talk about his hand in it all. It is scary we live in a world that until it directly hurts you, you just don't care. This is how bad people take control. May God save your soul before it is to late.

Can't you see what's the problem here is? It's with the Waltons. The Waltons are the progressives of retail, and this is a money deal concocted to gather money for donations that 'they' will make to Democrat held charities. Notice they didn't make any reference to the question of whether any of these monies, which is a considerable amount. will go to political PACS.
In Maryland it is illegal to withhold an amount of money which completes a sale of any goods. Nextly, Walmart is NOT a registered charity in Md., therefore, these monies confiscated, not required by law, ARE TAXABLE according to the Fed. and State tax codes. Is the Walmart progressives going to give the St. of Md. their share like we have to do.
Take a lesson from the other current subversives, go into Sam's and Walmart, buy a basket full whether you need it or not, and when you checkout offer the cash in 10's and 20s, and if they refuse to give you change, drop it in the floor en-mass, and after a week of re-stocking and clean-up you'll see this fade away. Stunts like this is where the truth goes to die.

  31. Making donations with YOUR money, and the corporation taking the deduction for the "charitable" contributions. That takes the cake. Car dealers sell that "donation" crap all the time. I'll make my own donations to the causes I support, and take the deduction for myself, as it should be. I don't need any business short-changing me, so that the business can give my money to charity and take deductions for themselves.

I post this know it will never be seen in the comments....

  35. WAWA in Delmar still has a bogus sign up about paying in exact change

My purchase was 11.06 and I had no change so I took 6 cents out of their change cup.

How ironic that they have a change cup, isnt it, being short of change and all that.

  40. The change withdrawal was a backdoor effort to get rid of cash transactions. The elites want to go cashless. COVID is a part of that exercise. Global financial reset.
