UDPATED....Coronavirus Patient In Howard County Was in OC Sunday

Editor's note: All updates are at the bottom.

We were in the process of sharing a video that was posted on Facebook that has since been taken down. Here is what we know from watching the video. The women is originally from the Salisbury Area. She is currently living in Howard County. She was tested for the Coronavirus on Monday and was notified yesterday that her test were positive for having the Coronavirus. She was explaining how she felt. She said it started almost like allergies. She woke up Monday with a headache and really bad sore throat. She said she thought the sore throat could have been all the screaming she did on Sunday while she was at Seacrets on Sunday.

HE SAID SHE SAID............

    1. Of course they did. Do you honestly think they will openly admit it’s true?

  9. These greed miesters should not be open for things like this. Even if this was not true, it could easily have been true.

  10. Why is OCPD claiming the video is false but she says she was? Who do you believe?

  11. She is lying and is doubling down on it. Sad.

  12. She brought it with her from Howard County. Trust me she probably did.

  13. Ocean city is purposely lying and she is telling the truth? Nah.

  14. Why is she hiding her post if it is true?

  15. why was Seacrets even open? I thought it was mandated to close bars and restaurants,

  16. If this story is verified as truth, people should be thankful she came forward with her story. Bars were not closed last weekend and maybe she was not showing any symptoms. Maybe she thought she had seasonal allergies like half of us running around. Her information if true is helpful to people who may get sick that were in her proximity and to health officials.

  17. OCPD owes the citizenry an immediate response on whether the report is bogus or authentic. If it is authentic, we the public have a right to know where this person made contact with others during her trip. Did she stay at a hotel or with friends? Did she purchase gas go shopping, etc. this is highly contagious and can only be quarantined and slowed if we know accurate details. If this is a hoax, she needs to be charged.

  18. Is this the woman that was sneezing and coughing at the upstairs bar at Seacrets?

  21. close the darn beach now! no traffic from 13 north, close the other two bridges for everything but commercial traffic and verified medical appointments! the majority of Human beings are to damn stupid and incapable of following directions and understanding the risk!

  22. Agree - close the beaches Nation wide. Schools were closed so the families and teens head to the beach Florida beaches are packed. Mayor of St. Pete FL closed the beach after Spring break. Should be fired.

  27. The only reason the coronavirus is so contagious is because it really doesn’t affect the 98 percent of people that get it. You have a mild cough or feel a bit off but you continue on with daily activities and interactions. With the flu however you’re in bed for a week

  28. How do we say opps, screwed up! Come on OCPD incompetence like this is expected by Emergency Services and even the Fire Department, but not you.

  30. Apparently alcohol kills the virus ... too bad Joe had to close down. That said, I will self medicate in seclusion, reading internet articles where everyone is in a panic

Anyone know the recovery rate (hint: it’s above 97%)

  31. Millennials with their "you can't tell me what I can and can't do" attitude, are America's newest enemy in this war on the coranavirus.

  32. OC would lie to us all if they thought you would come spend a dollar or two. They don't care about your health, they only care about making their cash registers jingle jangle. The greed is unbelievable in that area.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Seacrets should be held responsible for hosting crowds larger than the governor mandated. There are pictures all over the internet of the crowds. They tried to say it was ok because people were spread out around their many bar areas... but that BS! Gov Hogan was clearly mad about their greedy, money-hungry behavior, and closed all restaurants and bars on Monday so they wouldn't repeat that crap on St Patricks Day. The millionaire owner should get fined for the inevitable spike that this will cause.

  34. They owe her and the public a bigger apology than that. They screwed up.

  35. Another female failure , the females of 2020 a bunch of losers , and to think we had a few running for president of the United States . Just confers what the president of Coca Cola said back in the 80's , if it wasn't for sex , we would have a bounty on them.

    ReplyDelete
  36. 3:42 why is that? They owe her nothing. She made it public. There were no HIPAA violations.

    ReplyDelete
  37. why dont we all go down there and kick her ass just for old times sake?

    ReplyDelete
  38. FYI. The owner of Seacrets was just like everyone else in O.C. He was open for the weekend before St Patty's day. The Gov, Should have made his closure law public on Friday not Sunday. That way the restaurant owners would not be helpful in spreading the virus and would not have spent thousands of dollars getting ready for St. Patty's day. Like buying large amounts of food products and booze. I wish some of the Bar & Restaurant owners would get on here and tell you all how much the Gov. late policy cost them.

  39. Hard to get the truth about positive cases out here.

  40. OC Police are full of crap. There is no HIPPA violation after SHE published it publicly. Just BS excuses for screwing up and taking CONTROL of the citizens in an attempt to cover it up.
