Some Democrats fear Trump outreach to black voters might just work

Some Democrats are worried that the Trump campaign's outreach to black voters is working.

"It keeps me up at night," HIT Strategies partner Terrance Woodbury told the Washington Post. "The Trump campaign recognizes that while the Democratic Party is spending a significant amount of resources and effort to persuade white, suburban women back into their coalition, the Trump campaign has found a very susceptible and very different swing voter in black men."

President Trump won 13% of black male voters and 32% of Hispanic men but only 4% of black female and 25% of Hispanic female voters, according to 2016 exit polls, and campaign events in minority neighborhoods have brought in mostly men, Republican officials told the Washington Post.

  5. Makes sense. Black women are the most racist people in America. Around here, see how they treat white people in the workplace and in business establishments. They can talk about racism and slavery all they want, but they are the racists in today's society. White people feel it and know it. They are often rude and belligerent in their daily interactions with white people. Ironic though, when I had several opportunities to travel and stay in SC, a predominately black state, I found the black population to be the most polite and helpful people, the women especially. This was in the Myrtle Beach and Charleston areas, but I think it might apply to the whole state. It seems that the only racists in SC are the politicians. Empirical evidence (observation) is the best indicator of racism, not politicians telling white people that we are racist. Trust your eyes and your own interactions to form your opinion who is racist.
