GOP sets another 2020 money record, 1,900% increase in online fundraising

The Republican money train continues to haul in record cash.

Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said the party received $20.8 million in July, the largest ever for a non-election year July.

So far, the party has brought in $117.9 million for the 2019-2020 cycle.

“Last month’s fundraising haul again smashed records, and we continue to directly invest this money into growing our top-notch data-driven infrastructure, recruiting and training thousands of new volunteers, and registering voters across the country,” said McDaniel.

  1. Can they use some of that record fund raising to take a chunk out of the record debt they've accrued?

    1. Sure! If the Democrats use some of the funding they raised in Mexico to do the same, lol! Remember, Congress controls the pocketbook.

  3. 1042x2: You do realize the 116th congress has GOP control over the Senate and control of the WH right? 115th Congress the GOP had control of both sides, House and Senate, with a Rep in the WH. GOP also had control over both sides during the 114th. So please tell us again how you say their decisions aren't tied to the debt?

  5. 1223, Where did I say they weren't tied to it? Democrats control the House and had control of the house, senate and white house for a period during the Obama administration, who, at the time, set their own deficit records. Everyone is to blame.

  6. The difference: Dem philosophy is to spend their way into prosperity. Deficots racked up during Obama were associated woth record drops in tax receipts and steps to get us out of the recession. Which worked. GOP are the ones claiming fiscal conservatism. So my statement is about calling out hypocrisy and lies, not typical left vs right philosophy in response to 1042 who is blinded by party politics
